Wolfe found himself in Era once again. It had been a little bit since his last time here, and if he could remember correctly he had been here on a job to find an escaped prisoner. Last tie he had been working for the Rune Knights and the Council, this time it looked like he was working for the again, but this tie he was working with the knights. It seemed that the Rune Knights had received a new batch of recruits and they needed to be trained in the basics of magic. normally from what Wolfe knew, this was not a common practice for them. They almost never went to outsiders for something like this. They liked to keep training in house and personal. However, for reasons Wolfe didn't know and didn't care to know it seemed a decent amount of the head members of the knights were out. So they went out to recruit for a magic teacher.

This was not the normal kind of job Wolfe would go for, and not something he was really interested in. However, it was a quick job and he needed to get some quick jobs under his belt so he could get to his next rank exam as quick as possible. That meant picking up the easy quick jobs sometimes.

Wolfe arrived at the Rune Knights training area early that morning and was immediately put to work. He was tossed in front of a group of about 50 new knights and was told to teach them magic basics. The first thing Wolfe did was put the in groups of ten and placed them in a circle around him as he sat down and explained the basics of how magic should work for each and every person. He explain the idea of how to focus energy into a certain part of their body and hold it there. He then had each group stand together in a smaller circle with Wolfe at the center and he walked around to each one and watched their technique and offered pointers.

Wolfe was lucky that almost all Rune Knights were at least not useless and had basic solider training so it wasn't hard to explain the basics and most of them were pretty good listeners and caught on super quick. Wolfe spent a few minutes with he few that were having issues. After everyone in each group had focused pure magic correctly he moved on to the next group and did the same thing. It only took about 2 hours to do all the groups and give them all about 10 minuted to work as a small group and converse amongst themselves. Wolfe then at this point had them all circle around him like he had at the start and then explained the basics of how to take one's personal energy and mix it with the basic magic they had learned to control.

He had them all break back into the smaller circles like before and repeated the process from before taking some tie with each person as he walked around each circle and helped give a little extra time on the ones having issues. This process only took about another 2 hours to do. He then had them form the big circle around him one more time. This time he had the knights break up in groups based on their magic types having each person get with others of their same element. It seemed that for the most part the numbers were pretty even actually. all but the one group of special magic types which he had group together because of their small number.

Wolfe then spent about an hour or so with each group explaining th basics of their element and it's uses. He then taught each of them how to use a basic projectile spell of each type and one focus type spell for either close range combat or a defensive spell, based on their element. He then went to each of the special magic type users and helped each one personally to the best of his ability with each of their magics. That took most of the rest of the day to do the one on ones. However, by the end of the day all the new recruits knew magic basics and at least 2 spells. At the end he was approached by one of the higher ranked officers that had been observing the training all day. She was very impressed with Wolfe's approach and said that from that point on she would be using some of the same techniques in the future, which of course Wolfe didn't mind. She even offered Wolfe a permanent spot helping train new recruits, but Wolfe was quick to turn down the offer. This was not the job for him. He needed adventure and to get out and see new places. The Rune Knights could never give him those things. She understood and thanked him again for his help. On his way out She stopped him and note stamped and approved from the Rune Knights with an open offer to come work as a magic trainer. Wolfe smiled and accepted the note. He never intended to accept but it would be a nice addition to his wall of mementos. Wolfe then turned and left to head home.
