Description:
Rose Dragons... thought extinct for ages, yet two remained. Lumina and Mayu Rubyscale, sibling of sorts, one a human magically changed and remade to protect the other. Lumina is that human, yet is not human but something else, a being of plants and unyielding will. She was born from the same egg and Mayu, both imprinted on a human named Cirven. While Mayu is the last Rose Dragon, Lumina is the last Rose Dragon Slayer. Both something so rare and likely to never to be seen again. Lumina has complete control of plants she touches, most of her magic is defensive or support based.
The Rose Dragon slayer is unlike most Slayers as Plants are a living thing, meaning alot of what Lumina can do is production of something. Because plants are so varied her magic is also incredibly varied, Poisons, gasses and even plants that eat the living. This magic also confers resistances against Water, Light and poison. Unfortunately she is horridly variable to fire and ice, more so than a standard plant user.
Strengths:
Highly versatile: Due to plant having nearly every defense mechanism conceived this magic is strong and ever changing.
Plants: as the Rose Dragon DS, her food is plants with is highly common and quite normal in society.
Naturally Defensive: From the unyielding strength of the world's oldest trees to the resistance of the everyday grass. Plant have found a way to survive just about anything.
Weaknesses:
Limited offensive Range: Plants have a limited range for the most part and it shows in this magic.
Burn me: This magics user is weak to Fire. Takes 100% damage from Fire magic, this also works in spell clashing.
Freeze Me: This Magic also grants a weakness to Ice. Ice magic is boosted by 50%. this also work in spell clashing.
Long Lasting, slow to grow: Duration based spells are longer on this magic but CD's are longer as well.
Lineage: Being Remade.
Slayer Abilitys:
Resistances: Plants naturally utilize other elements to grow or even harness them to fight would be intruders. Poison, Water and light resistances are 25%. This does NOT include a resistance to Plant magic as often other plants get in the way.
Second Gen. Dragon Slayers have obtained the magic through a Lacrima produced from the Great Dragon of their respective element.
Dragon Force:
A Slayer must consume at least 70% magical energy from his respective element in order to achieve Force, however, their total magical energy must equal to 150% or higher. In other words, the Slayer can still use magic, but if it does not equal to at least 150% magical energy after consuming 70% magical energy, they must consume an appropriate amount to reach it. If the Slayer can achieve this within the next 5 posts, Force is activated. If they cannot, the magical energy is rapidly consumed by the Slayer's body, causing any magical energy that was above their maximum to go down to the max. The Slayer can then try to do this again, if the opportunity is there.
Dragon Force highly increases the power of the Dragon Slayer's magic, physical endurance, speed, and strength. (Dragon Skin: Body is covered in scales of their respective element) It puts all stats into the next range on the character scaling.
The spell power of each rank is increased to 150%.
In Dragon Force, the Slayer gains an aura of their element that engulfs their body. Physical attacks deal status effects from their respective element. ( Frostbite, Burn, Poison, etc. )
During Dragon Force the Slayer does not lose any mp from casting spells, but after it wears off is left with 5% mp.
Lasts 7 posts.
Unique Abilities:
Strength of the Ancients: Lumina is as hardy as the oldest trees, Reduce all melee damage the would be dealt to her by 20%, this stacks with any other abilities or spells
Stand and Deliver: This magic grants the unyielding strength of the oldest tree, when hit with a knock back effect either from Magic that is not fire or ice aligned or melee attacks, the magic will negate the effect. This only works on Knock back effect her rank and lower.
Hammer Away: Lumina does bonus damage to Barriers and Magic defense's equal to two rank below her. Bonus damage is applied first before standard damage is applied.
Waters caress: After one post of exposure to water, any spell Lumina has in cool down has its cool down reduced by two posts. Spell cool down's cant end because of this ability. This ability has a CD equal to the the amount of spells it affect at one time. So if only one spell is affect then the CD is one, if 5 are then the CD is five. This ability will only work if a spell is in CD.
Turn the spell: When a spell hits Lumina from the front and she was aware of the casting and had time to react. She may attempt to turn the spell aside. To use this ability, roll three "Normal Dice" and refer to Table below.
Even- Successful. Odd- Fail
3 Success's - Spell is turned aside completely and deal no damage to user
2 Success's - Spell damage is reduced by 50%
1 Success's - Spell deals damage as normal
0 Success's - Spell deals 50% extra damage.

Description: Lumina spins in place, letting off what looks like gold dust. This gold dust causes all plant life in a 10 meter radius to grow quickly. Does nothing other than cause plants to grow. Plants take a full post to grow to maturity.

Causes Plant in a 10 meter radius to grow to maturity
Can help fuel other spells
Allows for plants to be supported in a hostile environment
Weaknesses:
Dead plants aren't affected
If there are no plants nothing benefits
Does not affect plant made via magical means.
Does not affect one plant or another all living plant in the area of effect get the bonus

Description: Lumina sits down and closes her eyes, in doing this she can “See” through the trees. Allowing her to scout around. has a 50 meter Radius.
Strengths:
Easy to use
Can help her find enemies/allies in a hurry.’
Highly effective in a forest
Weaknesses:
No trees? no spell. pretty simple
Leaves her vulnerable when in use
Leave her disoriented for a post
Being moved while in this spell can cause her to take another of this spells rank in MP cost.
- Sparrow of Grass:

Cooldown:1 to 5 post(equal to duration)
Description: Lumina makes a sparrow out of grass, she will need to sit down and close her eyes, the sparrow will then come to life under Lumina’s control. this sparrow will take off and search the area for her. She has to remain connected to the sparrow similar to “The Trees have Eyes” spell. Sparrow can fly in a 100 Meter radius and can take one D rank attack.
Strengths:
Easy to use
Can help her find enemies/allies in a hurry.’
Use full for finding something in a large area
Weaknesses:
The sparrow being destroyed causes Lumina to take damage equal to the spell used on it.
Leaves her vulnerable when in use
Leave her disoriented for a post
Being moved while in this spell can cause her to take another of this spells rank in MP
- Grain of Wheat:

Description: A small grain of wheat that has been imbued with a fragment of Lumina’s magic, as long as the wheat remain whole the spell will continue. These grains can be felt by Lumina at 30 meters out and will stick to people. this makes them good for tracking an enemy.

Useful for tracking an escaped enemy
Can stick to things

Weaknesses:
While they stick they still have a minor magic aura so they can be found by an enemy mage.
May be pulled or knocked off an enemy.

This spell only causes Lumina to move 1 meter in any direction she chooses, unless a wind is present.
Strengths:
Useful to escape a variety of attacks
Quick to use.
Can allow lumina to survive fatal attacks.
Weaknesses:
magic attacks still deal full damage unless physical based.
Fire deals Double damage, 300% damage when in this form.
Does not work if she is not being harmed, Being restrained is NOT being harmed
High winds can cause her to be blown into things

Description: Lumina puts her hand on a tree and give the tree her energy, this cause the tree to grow rapidly 30 years. Takes a full post for it to age.
Strengths:
Allows For increasing of a Tree's Age and thus its mass
Can be used to fuel other spells
Lumina can grow a tree from a seed if she needs to
Weaknesses:
Over all growth depends on what kind of tree it is.
Cannot grow a tree in areas that are unable to sustain it
Must have a tree or seed to grow.
The older the tree the less the growth.
- Hallucinogenic Plant-bomb:

Description: Lumina prods a plant with her finger, this plant puts off a small fruit which grows in size of a basketball. at the beginning of the next post the fruit explodes, releasing a gas that causes people other than Lumina hallucinate. They Hallucinate about many things but mostly about there fears. This spell is only effective on C ranks and below. The area of effect is 30 meters
Strengths:
Good for distractions
Makes it much harder for enemy to fight.
Does not affect Lumina
Weaknesses:
Affect everyone other than Lumina
Can be dispersed with wind or rain.
Fire will burn the gas away.

Description: Lumina stabs her nail into a plant, she pulls it out and a vine grows out of the holes she poked. On the vine is a small prickly orb, this orb are pressurized fungus balls with poisoned needles. the little “Bomb” can be thrown and will Explode on contact of a surface. They deal B rank damage at the point of impact and 75% damage in a 10 Meter orb and poison anyone hit for 2 posts.
Strengths:
Poison enemy for 1% HP per post for 2 posts

Bombs can go off if hit by an attack

Need a healthy plant to produce Bombs
have a limited life, only last 3 posts after used before they become inert.

Description: Lumina touches a plant which produces a seed that Lumina or an ally can eat. Once eaten this seed grants the user a buff of their choice, The choices are as such.
25% reduction of Melee damage for 2 posts
Melee damage increases by one B rank for 2 posts
2% Hp regen while in sunlight for 4 posts
When used on a allied that is KOed will bring them back with 10% HP
Strengths:
Choice of buffs making it useful
Seeds can be held onto for a indefinite period of time
Can be given to allies
Weaknesses:
Requires a plant to make the seed.
Can be taken by enemies.
Spell does not go into Cool-down until seed is consumed and the buff chosen ends
Small and easy to lose.

Description: Lumina bite’s her hand hard enough to draw blood, this activates the spell causing her body to produce poisonous thorns almost everywhere. These thorns deal instant poison damage equal to C rank damage. Lumina is the only one who can activate this via a catalyst in her saliva.
Strengths:
Great for enhancing melee attacks
Great for defense as enemy hit her they take the C rank damage too
Cannot be removed forcibly
Weaknesses:
If Lumina forgets about the spell she can cause damage to other people(despite literally being prickly)
Only affects Lumina’s base melee attacks
Minor damage buff for the cost.
Very obvious spell… Enemy with half a brain will notice the spikes
- Man Eater:
- Name: Man Eater
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Plant
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 6 posts
Description: Lumina imbues a seed with ravenous hunger and drops it on the ground, this seed sprouts into a large plant. This plant will pursue enemies of Lumina and try and eat them, It deals B rank damage. Can take 3 hits of B rank damage before withering and dying. can move 30 meters a post.
Strengths:
Man Eater can move around
Man Eater does not need commands and will protect Lumina at all costs
Can Eat defeated enemies to increase the duration of the spell by two post for each enemy eaten.
Weaknesses:
Highly Weak to fire taking double damage from attack that are fire based
While the Man Eater can move it's not terribly fast
While eating a enemy the Man Eater can’t defend itself.
Always tries to eat fallen enemies unless Lumina is in immediate danger

Description: The user drive there hand while holding a Imbued seed which grow when in the ground and is directed by the user. Can be thrown or fired from a magic gun for Limited Effects. Has a max range of 10 meters. This spell gets no boost in power against Lower ranks.

SS-rank 1 post no damage
Deal A-rank damage per post until enemy breaks free or spell expires(2 B-rank atk/1 C rank fire)
Imbued seed can be instead thrown or shot for lesser effect allowing the user to continue to function normally.
A-rank 2 posts 1 round of A-rank damage
S-rank 1 post 1 round of A-rank damage
Weaknesses:
must be channeled and thus stops user from doing anything further to target
can be burned away with fire by 1 B-rank or 2 A rank non-fire.
Weak when used without ally's if the user is using the channeled version as they have to stand still with their hand in the ground.

Description: Lumina spins in place causing a flurry of leaves to surround her, These leaves are sharp and cause anyone within 1 meter of Lumina to take A rank damage. Lumina can also use this spell to “drift” to the ground form a high place
Strengths:
Can be Offensive or Defensive depending on how it's used
Great for counter attacks
Allows for safe falling when used to “Drift”
Weaknesses:
Limited Range
Once it's been seen enemies may expect it again.
Can be countered quickly by a fire spell.
Requires Lumina to be able to spin in place.
- Big Mutha F’in Leaf:

Description: Lumina takes a leaf and enhances it growth to extreme levels, as well as reinforcing it with her own energy. This causes the Leaf to become what equates to a large sword. The name came from her companion Cirven.
Strengths:
Deals A Rank damage.
4 feet long and hits like it weighs 100 pounds
Weighs as much as the leaf she choose
Weaknesses:
Vulnerable to fire, Take one B rank fire spell to destroy the leaf
Hard to use in enclosed spaces
Requires a leaf to enforce.

- Bitter Fruit:

Description: Lumina casts a breath on a plant which then produces three small fruits, each fruit heals for B rank Damage but tastes HORRIBLY bitter. They will remove any status effect no matter what as long as it's A rank or lower.
Strengths:
Healing power
Can be made anywhere plants dwell
Removes status effects.
Weaknesses:
The fruits must be eaten to work
Fruits taste bad
Can be stolen by enemy's
Easily destroyed by minor spells(can take only one D rank spell)
