Slave rescue

As Apollo got to Hargeon he looked around the town then down at his job flyer. Bounty’s weren’t really Apollo’s style but he didn’t want any more girls to suffer. Apparently they were stealing girls and turning into slaves. Then they were sold to other country’s for a profit. “This has to stop…” He muttered quietly as he started to head for the docks to find the slavers ship. As he walked through the town he wondered how he was suppose to find these guys. On top of finding them the captain was notoriously dangerous. Apollo didn’t know much about here but he knew if she was in charge of the slaving operation that she was dangerous and skilled enough to be a threat. Regardless he knew what needed to be done.

As he started to walk through the docks he knew he had no way of figuring out the slave ships. If he was a girl it might be easier. “Curse there lack of gender equality…” he mumbled quietly. He saw a sign saying that the Hargeon fireworks festival was happening tonight. It there was any time to sneak onto a ship that would be it but first he had to find it. He gave a sigh looking at all the ports and started looking around. It couldn't be that hard to spot a ship with thugs guarding it. As he walked down the port he wasn't sure if he would ever find it. Maybe he was going about this the wrong way. Maybe he needed to do this more...Fairy Tail style, which meant finding someone and knocking there heads around.

As Apollo walked down the dock he kept on the look out. He was looking for one of two things. Obvious looking thugs or pretty boy's trying to hard. He knew how to find both those types of people easily. He had to wonder if they were using any sort of charm magic to lure them onto the boat or if they were using force. It only made things more complicated the more he thought about them. As he continued to walk he stared at all the boats. It would have to be a pretty big boat assuming they aren't just taking five or so at a time. That would be a waste of time it be better to get them in bulk. He then shook his head at the thought and continued to look for his mark.

Just then he saw some thugs slap a girl and try to drag her off. if that didn't scream suspicious nothing did. He ran over. "Hey leave her Alone" he said as they immediately ran off. Then Apollo approached the girl. "hey you ok" he said looking at her bruises. "Promotion to bishop" he said looking at her. "yeah thank you. " She said smiling. He nods " I'm going to heal you now ok don't be scared" she nodded and shot her with checkmate to heal her. "There why were those men attacking you miss?" he said wondering if they were worth the time to follow or not. The girl gave a sigh and looked at Apollo and sighed.

The girl nodded at Apollo and gave a sigh. They told me to go with them and that they were gonna have a big party tonight. I told them I was busy then they yelled at me saying how i needed to come or else..." She teared up. Apollo figured those were the guys he was after then put a hand on her. "it's ok i'm gonna handle this thank you" he said smiling at her. "Just head home ok" He said started walking off. "thank you.." she said then ran home. Apollo then moved with greater haste. "He had to find these guys before they were long gone. He had no idea how he was going to find them He then mad a shield up to the sky so he could get an aerial view of the area.

As he got up he started looking around for them. He saw a lot of people walking the streets but non of them were the guys he was looking for. He could only assume they were going to stay near the docks in case of trouble. As he ran he gave a groan did he lose them already it hasn't been that long. Then as luck would have it he saw them boarding a ship. he wondered if that was the ship they were transporting slaves on. It was big enough to make the journey and hold a lot of people He then lowered himself to the side of the boat. Then he heard them start talking to someone. Apollo was just close enough to overhear them talking.

As Apollo floated there he started to listen in he heard a females voice. "Have the ship ready to depart and the sound of the fireworks" she commanded to the thugs he was following. "But Captain shouldn't we just cut our losses now.." She then scoffed at them "Are you daft or stupid the harbor is full of Rune knights looking for us we will leave when they are distracted." she said in a nasty tone "But Capetian..." They said worried.Then he heard a third voice began to speak. "Are you refusing the captains orders that's treason you know." He said with a evil tone ready to kill and a command. "N-no Carver sir. " They said quickly. "Good now guard the girls we got a be prepared to leave when I say." She said as he heard them leave the boat. He then heard them run into the boat.

This was worse then Apollo had thought He couldn't wait till the guise of night this time he had to act now. Though it was high noon so he had plenty of time. The fire works don't start till six anyway so he should be able to find them by then. It would be easy if he would just contact the rune knight but then the Captain would get away and Apollo couldn't risk that he needed to make sure they were caught and brought to justice. How he was going to do this he had no idea but if there was one thing Fairy Tail was good at it was improvising on the fly.

Apollo then heard people walking around the the deck of the boat.  Apollo didn't know a stealthy way onto the ship but he didn't want to just climb a board either though that looked like the best option Apollo looked down at his pistol checkmate knowing he would have to keep an eye and get it ready for king mode asap he had a feeling he was going to need it. he then looked up at the boat and sighed it wasn't a cloudy day so he couldn't sneak in by the air and there were no holes big enough on the side to sneak through.  It looks like his least favorite option was the winner he would just have to climb aboard the boat and brute force his way in to a point.  

He then climbed A board the boat and ducked behind a crate.  He should have gotten some back up but there wasn't really enough time to do that and get the girls off the boat.  He then heard foot steps coming his way.  His breathing came to a still as he tried to listen to what they were saying.  He heard them get closer and had to figure out how he was going to fight them.  Though there might be a way to lie his way out of this situation.  He had to wait and see who it was.  if it was a grunt he should be fine but it it was a higher up it would spell bad news for him.

He quickly put Checkmate away in his coat and stood up "What the hell are you doing?" he made his voice roar like a commander would. They all drew there swords pointing them at Apollo. "We should be asking you that who the hell are you. " Apollo growled a little "Who do you think you are pointing those at me do you even know who I am!" He glared as Heero would when he wanted to get the guild intimidated. No explain your self now!" they yelled getting closer Apollo couldn't believe it this might work. He then laughed although he was nervous as hell in reality.

"You pathetic fools i'm obviously an undercover agent, you know the one who lures the girls here why do you think I am dressed so nice?" They lowered there swords.a little in sheer disbelif. "No one told us of you" Apollo shook his head then looked at them mad. "Of course not if they told everyone that would blow my cover now wouldn't it." They scratched there heads "I suppose that makes enough sense." Apollo laughed. Of course it does now listen you guys can't ell anyone about me ok..i'm suppose to be secret" He said walking to the side of the boat. "Yeah ok sure were gonna keep a eye on you though.." they said looking at him. "oh really now..." he knew he couldn't keep this up forever he had to think of a way out of this mess.

Apollo then looked at the dock below him and then saw some sailors loading a boat full of supply's and then he hatched an idea.  He grinned and then took in a deep breath. "Oh my god look a person sneaking aboard!"  He yelled pointing to the dock below.  With out another word they pushed him aside and looked overboard. "Hey wait a minute there is no one here..."  they said looking at each other  Apollo shook his head "Wrong you guy's are Energy Flare!"  he called releasing a tide of energy at them.  since they were bunched together they all flew off the boat onto the docks below getting knocked out instantly.

He then ran to the side of the boat were some sailors were watching. "damn thieves am I right can you gents do me a favor?"  He called asking them.  They shrugged and gave a nod "Can you drag these men to the authority's please I am the only guard on this ship and need to remain at my post."  They nodded and gathered some people and started taking them away"  He waved to them and then turned ed around with new found confidence.  Apollo would be lying if he said he didn't feel like king of the world right now.  He managed to fool two sets of people into thinking he was someone he wasn't which mad him feel especially happy in this instance.  He then went to the bow of the ship looking back seeing a door that lead below deck.  Apollo sighed and walked towards the door opening it he wasn't sure a lie like that would work again but it was his main weapon right now so he would stick with it. He then promoted himself to a knight with checkmate so he could search faster and went ahead.

As Apollo walked through the door looking down the long hallway. The boat was massive and and the interior was no joke either. Apollo started walking down the Hallways trying to figure out where these girls would be. He assumed the cargo bay at the bottom of the ship. His first priority was making sure they were safe then he could deal with the slavers. As he traversed the halls of the ship he was hopelessly lost at on point he asked himself what Heero would do in this situation...then he shuttered at the the ship being sunken or on fire somehow.... HE continued to walk down the hallway which were lit very well surprisingly. They must have been at this for a while since this boat was so elaborate it had to cost a fortune.

Realistically speaking he didn't necessarily have to get the girls out of the ship quite yet he just had to make sure the ship wouldn't leave port with them all on board. That was honestly a more realistic goal since he had no idea how many there were on board. But if he were to try and sneak them off with himself he would surly be discovered. If they were discovered then he would have to protect the girls at any cost and he couldn't do that and protect himself He pulled checkmate out as he walked. He was getting deeper into the belly of the beast and the feeling unsettled him to a high degree. but he was in it now and was determined to save these people anyway. he then got to an intersection on the ship and had to pick a direction to go.

I reality it didn't matter which way he went it was all the same to him in the end. He sighed but then heard people coming. he gasped and quickly ran into the nearest room which happened to be a supply closet. He left the door open a crack so he could hear them talking. "Did you hear about the new orders?" He asked the other guy. Apollo had a hard time determining ow many there were coming towards him. "Yeah what nonsense" He scoffed. "yeah well as long as the girls stay down there i could careless we weren't caught last time we won't be this time." Yeah let's go check on them again in an hour" He laughed as they were practically on top of Apollo.

Apollo smiled now knowing which way the girls were he could go check on them now. He just had to wait for them to leave. As they left he sighed and stated to open the door. but them luck caught up with him as a broom fell against the door as he shifted and made a clunking noise. Apollo went silent as he heard them coming then realized it was time to get ready to fight. He angled himself so he could ambush them. They then got to the door he could tell they were trying to be sneaky. The stress of the situation was too much and he was wasting time like this. He took a deep breath as they opened the door. He was ready to strike with great force, literately.

As the person opened the door Apollo didn't need to even speak to know this guy was in charge.  though no one was with him.  But Apollo had the element of surprise on his side and knew exactly how he was going to do this.  Time seemed to stop though.  This guy was obviously a mage and was about as strong as Apollo was if not stronger. Apollo had to act now before he could or else he wasn't sure he would be able to beat him.   Though he was confused where were the other guys.  Honestly that was not important at this point Apollo then struck.  "Energy Flare"  he called.  

Apollo caught him completely off guard and the attack sent him into the close by wall across the way.  As he hit the wall he gasped for air.  It looks like that attack did more then he had thought to him.  Then Apollo grabbed him putting Checkmate to his gut.  using his quicker firing speed he got from being a knight he fired two bullets into his gut.  Apollo could tell this knocked him out cold and then he threw him into the closet to make sure he was knocked out. as Cleaning stuff fell on him he sighed .  Apollo sighed then looked at him knowing that would have been much tougher in he had actually had to fight him.  he was glad he didn't have to.  He then looked down the hall seeing who he was talking to staring him down.  Apollo was panting and then turned to him getting ready.

Apollo gulped as he saw A man standing there. He had two stained cutlass's red with blood. He has obliviously killed a lot of people in his day's Apollo shook his head but before he could react He was charging him. Apollo could barley keep track of him if it wasn't for him being in knight mode there would be absolutely no way he would be able to see him charge. Even then he could barley see him he was like a blur. Apollo gasped "How could he!" "Guild shield!" he called in fear. they as it appeared his natural protection engaged as he felt the swords make contact. If Apollo had waited any longer he could be dead. He got knocked back a little as she dashed past him.

Apollo then turn to see him gearing up again. "Not bad your the little rat that sneaked on board huh." He chuckled. "I thought you were off the boat.." Apollo said clearly miss calculating. "No I always stay with the merchandise." He grins. Apollo clenched his fist "Those are people damn it not objects." He just laughed at Apollo. Apollo growled at him "Promotion to rook!" He yelled spinning his barrel feeling the power boost. Then as he began to charge Apollo he called out a spell. "Shield Waltz!" he cried as three rings appeared around him. But unfortunately that was all he had time to do as he was already there ready to slash at him. Apollo didn't even have time to doge speed magic was truly terrifying.

Apollo then felt the swords against him barley in him. the shields absorbed most of the damage so he would only take a d worth a damage but more importantly he looked at the Carver who was frozen. "What on gods earth...what did you do to me?" He growled viciously. "Apollo shook his head looking at carver. "Very simple I used your speed against you" he grinned looking at his sides. "If you didn't talk so much you might have got me but you hesitated to mock me giving me time to cast a spell." Apollo said taking a step back. He then started walking behind him. "wait you can't leave me like this" Apollo grinned. "oh no...I don't plan to" He said stepping behind him.

"Apollo then pointed checkmate at the back of his head. "Wait you can't kill me your a wizard damn it" he cried. "Apollo shook his head "No I don't intend to kill you my bullets don't pierce after all but you will probably be knocked out for the rest of the day." no you can't do this I am carver men fear-" Then before he could finish Apollo pulled the trigger doing a B rank worth damage at point blank knocking him out instantly knocking him out cold. Apollo sighed then held his sides. they hurt a little but it could have been far worse if Apollo hadn't got him talking he could be dead right now. he then put him of to the sigh sighing he then hide there weapons in case they some how woke up sooner. He grabbed his keys to the ship and left knowing he wasn't going anywhere.

Apollo sighed as he ran down the hallway that carver and the slaver came down. It was a long hallway looking around. Stealth was no longer an option he just needed to get the slaves and get off this ship as soon as possible. He could sneak but they were all on high Alert now and Apollo was in greater danger now. As he kept running he wondered if anyone was coming to invest age the ship or when the captain was going to return. The thought of the captain terrified him. Carver was already tough what the hell was there leader going to be like. He didn't know what they had in store for him but he could already tell it was bad. He then saw the stairs and dashed down them with great haste.

As he ran down stairs he wasn't quiet about it. they he had an idea. he then ran back up the stairs really loudly so he could draw people away from where the slaves were. He then hid in a room as they run up the stairs. "He went back this way find him!" they called dashing after him. Apollo then grinned getting out of the room he was hiding in quietly going back down the stairs. He looked around then heard a noise as he got to the bottom. "oh you have got to be kidding me right now..." He looked to see what he had to deal with this time hopefully not another elite

'Monster Dice' :

Apollo looked the men who immediately opened fire on Apollo. Apollo’s eyes widened they he clasped his hands together. “Fairies Shield!” He said as a spinning black shield with the Fairy tail emblem on it appeared in front of him. Then a volley of bullets hit the shield and that caused it to shatter. As it shattered the Fairy tail symbol turned to a gold mist a flew towards him healing his wounds. Then a second volley came and was blocked by his natural protection though it shattered as well. Apollo then pointed his gun forward “Ok guy’s it’s my turn now” he said as he pointed his gun forward and am at them both ready to take them both out with a single strike.

Apollo then fired his gun and the bullet hit one it the side of the head. As he fired he smiled calling out the guns ability. “Ricochet” He said as the bullet then bounced hitting the other slaver. They both do about a B rank worth of damage knocking them both out instantly. Apollo shook his head. “All right time to get moving.” He said as he started to run down the hallway. As he ran down the halls he saw a locked door. He could only assume that that was where he needed to go. He then went over to the door and unlocked it. As he went inside he saw a lot for girls crowding in the corner of the room begging for him not to hurt him Apollo seemed shocked.

As Apollo looked in the room h saw about twenty girls all locked up in manacles then looped around them were chained up and pined to the floor so they couldn't go anywhere.  Apollo then turned around shutting the doors quickly and locking them.  He then spun around looking at them cautiously.  As Apollo walked in they cowered a little more.  Apollo stopped then looked at then putting his hands up. "Relax I'm not a slaver I'm a wizard of the Fairy Tail guild" He said then slowly turned around and showed them his guild symbol on the back of his neck.  There was just a silence and then they all cheered a little happier.

Apollo quickly turned around putting his finger to his mouth. "Shhh"  He said looking at them. "Listen they know i'm on board but they don't know i'm in here alright so I need you all to work  with me" He nods.  They nod and look at him happily filled with hope.  Apollo walked over with the keys looking at the  locks. " "How does he not have the key's to your shackles? He mutters look at the keys trying to fit a few inside the shackles.  They then look more helpless and then they sigh.  Apollo looked at them "Don't worry I got another idea I just need some time ok"  He smiles.  They all looked at him confused and a few tilted there head. "DO you have a lockpick or something?" one asked scared. "something like that" Apollo nodded forming a shield in his hand.

Apollo then started using his free forming shields as sets of keys. "Listen I can get you all out of here safely but in order to do this you need to follow my instructions ok" He says as he re adjusts the sizes of the shields. they nod  looking sacred.  Apollo looked at them all some were wearing fine dresses while some were simply in rags and tattered clothing/  he then heard a click smiling. Got it"  He said looking at them.. he then removed a girls shackles.  The girl looked in disbelief as the shackles hit the floor.  Apollo nodded and then out of nowhere the girl hugged him. Apollo blushed and smiled. He then pat her back  and moved her aside so he could free everyone else.

After that he started to remove the rest of the shackles from the girls.  The process took quite a while but he eventually had freed them all.   they all rubbed there wrists thankful to be free but then looked up at Apollo.  "what the plan for escape?" they ask curiously.  Apollo sighed shrugging "Stay behind me with a group this large we can't sneak out so our only option is to simply walk out the front door."  They all looked worried  non of them wanting to go through this again.  Apollo stood up.  He looked over them all as they looked up at him.  He could tell they were scared and didn't want to get chained up again.  Apollo shook his head at them.  He then clasped his hands together to get there attention a little more.

Apollo then scanned them all shaking his head. "Listen to me when I say this to you all." He said standing tall. "On my honor as a Fairy Tail wizard I will die before I let them take you again." He says looking at them. "I'm sorry I couldn't get here sooner but I am here now and I am ready to help you all. You deserve your freedom and no one can take that form you so let's get you out of here." They all nodded standing up. They were ready to help Apollo and get out of here. Apollo smiled then looked towards the door smiling. As they all got behind him he looked back at the room happiness filled it as these girls were about to be free.

Apollo then looked at the ground. "girls will you grab the shackles for me please" He nodded pointing to them. They all looked confused for a moment. "W-why should we do that?" Apollo shook his head. So I can subdue them without killing them. " He looked at them. Then a girl spoke up. "Why they deserve nothing but death for what they did!" She shouts a few others start agreeing yelling things like yeah kill them all and things of that nature. Apollo then glared at her. "Enough!" he yelled at them all. They all quieted down. Apollo straightened his tie looking at them all. "I'm not going to kill anyone if I don't have to" He says sighing. They all look at him "Why after what they put us through why shouldn't they suffer?" She growls. Apollo just shakes his head annoyed at this point.

Apollo looked at them very sternly his eyes were locked on them. "Listen to me...as a Fairy Tail wizard I have a standard to uphold. If I take a life with out a proper cause I am no better then them." He said clenching his fists. "No It's called justice!" someone yells at him. Apollos eyes darted to her. "Being an executioner isn't the definition of justice If I kill them I let all the families you lost people to them suffer...trust me I want to end them just as much...but that isn't the way I do things alright there are only two times I will allow my self to take a life regardless of the opponent." He says looking at them all. "Oh really like what?" she scoffed.

By this time all the other girls were quieted down watching there verbal bout. Apollo sighed calming down. "Reason one if my life is in so much danger It will end my life, and reason two is if anyone in my guild is in danger I will show the enemy no mercy but for now non of that is the case and non of you are in immediate danger," He said "I'm hear to help you live so please bare with me I'm going to get you off this boat safer this will help I promise." he said. A few picked the shackles up and so did the girl he was arguing with. "good now lets go" he said as he opened the door. he looked down both hallways. "Ok cost is clear lets get out of here before any guards show up ok" Apollo waved them out. they nervously walked out. Then they started down the hallways slowly Apollo trying to be as quiet as possible.

Apollo walked down the hallway cautiously wanting to avoid detection as much as he could.  Defending himself was on thing but defending twelve girls which half were exhausted was going to be a trick,  especially if captain Scarlet showed up then we would have a real problem.  As they walked held up his hand as he got to the stairs.  He looked around the corner.  Seeing the guards weren't there he sighed.  That was the last place he saw them go so all he could do was assume they were still up there. He then looked back at the girls “Wait down here ok I’m going to go check up the stairs ok”  they looked at each other then nodded. Then Apollo started up the stairs.

As he went up the stairs he listened very carefully so he could tell if they were up the stairs.   The air was quiet and the fear was increased.  He would rather not have to defend twelve girls at the same time.  While he could do it would cost a lot of magic power and the more he spent on these guy’s the less he had to deal with captain Scarlet.  As he peered around the corner he looked down the hall seeing no one.   He hoped that Carver was still in the closet and the men haven’t found him.  He then looked at the girls. “Come on but be quiet ok”  He said looking down at them.  They all nodded and approached up the stairs.  He was surprised how silent they were with the shackles in there hand.

As they walked down the hallways the air was still and the sense of danger risen. He could tell that the girls were scared senseless to a point. Apollo could tell the only thing keeping them going was there sheer determination to live and see tomorrow freely. Apollo looked back at them a few were holding hands and a few were crying but one looked more serious then the others. Apollo could only guess that she was the one keeping them together. Though she locked eyes with Apollo and glared at him. He knew he was scanning him trying to figure him out thoroughly. He couldn't blame her a stranger bursting in declaring to be the hero was quite a story and She has right to be skeptical.

As they walk The serious girl looked at him. "Can I ask you a question?" She asked quietly. Apollo nodded "Sure what's on your mind?" he other girls looked at her curiously. "You said they know you are here why are we bothering with all this silence and stealth why are we running to get out faster?" She asked genuinely confused. Apollo looked at her and stopped."The reason we are going slow is because if we are loud it draws unwanted attention and also the is a grounds for chaos." He said then gave a sigh. "Also as for the stealth I assure you that's not it I want to hear them coming they will be running around this ship looking for me If I can catch them off guard if will make protecting all of you a lot easier. He said looking back forward.

While Apollo couldn't see her reaction to his clam it was a look of her being impressed. The other girls had the same look on there face. Obviously Apollo had thought this through more then they had originally thought. "Come on let's keep moving" He said as he waved his hand forward signalling them to move forward and continue. She then did the same and they all kept going trusting that Apollo knew what he was doing. It was a silent walk the air stiff as the got closer to the end of the hallway. This meant they were closer to being free Apollo at least had to get them to the deck of the boat. When they were there he could get them off easily enough with all of his shields but getting that done wasn't going to be easy.

As they walked Apollo didn't see any of the foes he had beaten on the way down here. He could only assume that they moved the bodies somewhere else. This wasn't filling Apollo with any source of confidence in his efforts to get them out. He didn't know how many more people were roaming the boat. He then heard foot steps coming. His eyes widened and he looked back at the girls. "Listen I walk you all to go back to the stairs ok" he said quickly. She looked like she was going to argue but then she nodded moving people back. Apollo couldn't have them be in the way when he fought if he got them hurt on a rescue job that wouldn't looked good for anyone. He then turned around pointing his gun forward.
