A restricted Forum

On this site we have a keep it PG-13 policy. Which is fine and all but what if someone wants to get more violent and make a blood bath? Or have *** with another member (RPing of course! :P)?

So I thought about have a restricted forum. It is something you cannot access unless you have the password too. The RP's there can be over PG-13 so some characters can act wild or crazy without being edited. You want to RP you massacring a little village go right a head. Talk about how you ripped a little girl's head off etc etc.

The only rules could be
1. You must ask for the password from a mod.
2. You must be a member of one of the Skype groups
3. Must be Sixteen or older

It would be a fun space to get RP's flowing and generally have fun.

FIrstly, I personally have no idea how to create a board that is password protected. I've been on the admin panel several times and not seen it.
Secondly, proving someone is 16 isn't easy and tbh it would have to be 18 as thats legal age of consent for most things like that. I could register an account as an 18 year old for example and bam I appear to be 18.

Next, I don't think we really need to rp that stuff out on site. You can perhaps hint at it, like they go to do it, timeskip and then after for example. In truth its probably more skilled rping to hint at it without actually doing it.

Tons of films, anime, cartoons, books, comics etc obviously hint at it without it actually happening and they work fine

I have made posts in the past where Curv has cut a person but never really went into detail how they looked after or anything. It's pretty easy to have a massacre on a town and just never say anything with too much detail. You still get the point across of what's going on and with that you let the reader's mind figure out the details more. Like we have had magic requiring blood to be spilled and lineages that do the same but there is a line from saying a person is bleeding somehow to going into detail of what the part of them looks like etc.

With sex in RP I don't really like the idea so much. Like I had that on an old site I was on and it really was just more awkward than anything to see be put up between chars and we basically had ppl who focused on making erotica together it seemed which the site was not about really. I have seen anything that gets sexual as something you can RP with that person in private somehow because most people really don't need to know that about your char lol

I have to agree with Zack and Cirven on this in all aspects.

I hate to be the blunt one here, but honestly it would turn into a place for people to let out their hormones and do a lot of weird sex threads lol If it's tasteful and matters for the character sure, but a forum like this might get out of hand. Plus I have to agree there is no way to prove they are not said age.

This, in the past, hasn't worked for forums I've been on. In a lot of cases, 2 super weird people just write a super nasty thread, and then expect rewards for it. Nobody should HAVE to read anything like that, just so someone can verify they completed a job, or whatever. Just wouldn't be fair to the grading staff.
