Personality: Kyra is a generally warm-hearted and happy-go-lucky girl who is somewhat of a workaholic. She is often well liked as she will always go out of her way to help others however she can, to the point of focusing entirely on them and often forgetting about herself. This works both ways though as, if she has a project on the go, she will forget there are people around her, her mind drifting to her work and how she can fix or improve upon her creations. Once she has finished her work though, she will always apologise for being distant...then do the exact same thing again the next time a project comes up.
She will always jump at the opportunity to help someone and makes sure to fully understand the goal in mind so as to get the perfect end result. The more information she's given, the better the item she can produce. If given creative freedom she will often go above and beyond expectations, considering other options for the creations so that they're multi-purpose. Her abilities as an engineer aren't her only strength though; whilst she lacks in magical power, her work has allowed her to create Lacrimatek, a form of "pseudo-magic" that she can use to devastating effect if pointed at the direction of a threat.
As a direct result of her own work and the puzzles and thought-processes she goes through on a daily basis, Kyra can easily lead a team of individuals, whether that be in the workshop or on the battlefield. Her grand-scale strategies aren't as strong as many others, but she is often applauded as being 'above average' at the very least.
Ultimately Kyra is a versatile ally and a great friend, so long as you can cope with hours, days or even weeks without contact or conversation when she gets her head into a project.

Tinkering - Kyra loves tinkering in her workshop, whether that be taking something apart to see how it works, or creating something from what others would consider "scrap".
People - Contrary to how people perceive her, Kyra loves the company of other people. They don't need to say or do much, so long as they're nearby and interact from time to time (even if Kyra gets too focused on her work and forgets about them for a moment).
Cakes and Sweets - Kyra has one hell of a sweet tooth, and can often be seen snacking on things as she works (much to the annoyance of her co-workers).

The Greatest Engineer - Much like her mother, Kyra aims to be the absolute best in her field, with no exceptions.
Family - Kyra's parents achieved a lot in their lives before they decided to settle down, and her aim is to make them as proud as they make her.
To give Vanguard-1 as close to a true life as possible - Robots, drones and other A.I. aren't strictly living creatures, but they are often programmed to understand emotions. Whilst Kyra has no intentions of creating such things - to create life in such a way is an abomination to the world order - Vanguard-1 is the exception to this rule. The drone is the closest thing Kyra has to a friend and confidant.

Becoming a monster - With great knowledge comes great power, and with great power comes a risk of it being used horribly wrong. Whilst she would never use her creations for evil or for immoral causes, the idea that her creations could be used as such is always in the back of her mind.
Snakes - Most reptiles make Kyra feel uncomfortable, but snakes take that to a whole other level. What kind of a creature moves on land WITHOUT LEGS?!
