Allison wandered around, vaguely disturbed by what was going on in her surroundings. There seemed to be people using strange technology-- everything was so cold, and harsh. It made the girl slightly uncomfortable, which was nearly an achievement in itself because Allison usually could go along with anything. It was just that this land seemed to be so cold, as though everyone were estranged from one another. There were no people bustling around selling magical items, and children weren't playing with miniature broomsticks on the streets. The red haired girl supposed that this was to be expected, given that she was standing within the Neutral Grounds... and this was a place where magic was completely forbidden. But nonetheless, after getting used to all of the magical events that seemed to be taking place every minute, Allison was more than a little bit surprised at the stoic feeling the Neutral Grounds possessed...

Continuing to walk around slowly, Allison became more and more unnerved. Perhaps it was just because she wasn't skipping and constantly smiling as usual, but there was this solemn aura, as though something terrible was going on here or had just taken place. Yet, of course there was nothing wrong. It was simply a normal day here in the Neutral Grounds, and any witch or wizard hailing from Fiore would feel slightly bothered by the complete lack of magic... and that didn't mean that there was anything wrong at all! Nodding to herself, Allison continued on. She had actually come here today on a mission, and she wasn't going to go back just because there was this funny feeling in the air. A bright smile lit up her face, and the red haired girl began to skip like usual. Allison was feeling much more comfortable now that she had fully addressed the feeling of concern that had been nagging in the back of the mage's mind ever since stepping foot into this place.

The girl then pulled the slightly wrinkled square of paper out of her jacket's pocket. There were a few pieces of fuzz from the inside of the pocket caught on the edges of the stiff paper-- Allison had never had a job request that was written on a piece of paper like this. It was almost like cardboard, except... it wasn't bendable whatsoever. Apparently, the red haired mage could communicate with people on it, and she had been instructed not to lose it no matter what. They were very expensive for some reason, but either way Allison wasn't bound to lose it. She typically had a terrible memory, but there was just this feeling of eerieness associated with the Neutral Grounds... the red haired girl didn't dare to mess with anything from there or pertaining to the place.

Shaking her head slightly at her own atypical uneasiness and going back to skipping and beaming happily, Allison wandered through the streets of the Neutral Grounds. The houses here seemed to be more like the corporate buildings back in Fiore, with gleaming walls and many perfectly polished windows. Apparently she was supposed to find the house belonging to a certain Orianna Belatroz, who was in charge of much of the Neutral Grounds' relations with other areas and nations. She also moderated the entrance and exit of mages and non-mages between the Neutral Grounds and Fiore. Allison couldn't simply go wandering around in this territory without meeting her first, even if she was on an official job request from the Magic Council.

The red haired girl wandered around for a little more, trying not to act too conspicuous. Typically she wouldn't have cared, but according to the job request, the citzens' safety was a huge priority here in the Neutral Grounds, and any foreigners might be automatically imprisoned if found wandering around without proper permission. Allison technically did have permission, but she wasn't sure how much leeway the girl did have when it came to being lost and ending up in places she wasn't allowed to be in.
