Private Lines were meant to be crossed!

    Spoiler:

Since Mei had become a member of a guild quite a bit in her life had changed. First off she was going on various jobs and going to locations she had never expected to visit in her lifetime. This is why after one fateful recollection, Mei finally realized her one true need in this world aside from food, a passport. Okay it wasn't really that much of a need, it was just Mei preparing for the future, after all how embarrassing would it be if she had to go on a job in another country, and then suddenly didn't have the passport for it? Well that would just show her as a horrible waste of space that doesn't know how to plan for the future, or she'd just get laughed at, both were equally bad options in her mind.

Mei was standing in line just like all the other people who were here. Perhaps it was the odd way she went about standing in line that was the problem. See she had gone invisible, as per her typically shy nature, and thus had created a gap in the line. At first it was fine, but then it started to become a problem as people tried to walk in behind her, smacking against the back of her head, or slamming into her. She was a human pinball right now, and all due to her shy nature. Soon talks would begin in the hectic line... of a ghost within their midst, and to think all of this could be avoided if Mei just decided to stand there like a normal person.

Perhaps all of this was simply her fate, to be doomed to have prospective tourists attempt to plant luggage on her face. Due to the way she had disguised herself, and how she refused to lower it right now, Mei was forced to become the silent protagonist as a crate of luggage was dropped upon her. The torment of this line knew no end, for as soon as the luggage had passed her by, people started to try and cut right where she was, leading to several random bouts of fighting between the most overgrown and overblown of tourists, and possibly other types of miscreants. Mei just wanted for all of this to end, but little did she know, the trials ahead would turn out far worse than the previous horrors.

Mei was almost there, it had been hours or torment and people now stating that a certain spot in the line was cursed, but she was finally almost at the end, and then the worst trial appeared. The lane was closed, and another one was opened up next to her. People rushed to get into the front of the line, and since Mei was invisible, no one could see her hit the front first, and thus she ended up getting tossed aside into latter positions in the line, all the way towards the back of it. her clothes were ruined, she had boot marks on her face, and was about ready to give up, but then she came up with a brilliant plan to rid everyone from the line in one fell swoop, and become forever known as the ghost that haunts these walls, but in reality she's just a beaten girl with no other unreasonable options left.

Mei let her Miasma, after but a short time of it flowing throughout the room, become visible, and send the entire room into more of a panic than it already had been in. People began to shout about the line ghost was real, and that they needed to flee due to it. Suddenly the room began to empty out all of the people who believed in the line ghost were retreating, and Mei suddenly found herself up at the top of the line. Letting the Miasma turn invisible once more, she realized that now the entire place was being shut down due to the allegations of a possible attack, or something else going wrong with it... she had failed herself, and sadly wouldn't be getting her passport till...

the next day when she mustered enough courage to appear in person, wait in line like normal and receive her picture in a flattering and nice setting. If only Mei had just done that from the beginning things might have gone better... oh well.
