    In my opinion, it's better that the spam section stay closed. People can start threads if they want to deposite extra things like future character apps, graphics, etc. using the misc. section. With the spam section, people just post random dots and letters to either get more posts or simply amuse themselves... pages upon pages of just dots isn't doing anything but confusing whether or not those posts actually count.

    The spam section was abused so its unlikely to come back.
    The only 'spam' I have seen is people posting templates.

    Some of the stuff in the spam section was just plain stupid.

    Zack is right, the misc section serves the same purpose as the spam section, only difference is that people cant just post dots or random things there. Even the 'spam' example provided of posting templates serves a purpose better than the randomness that could be seen in the spam section.

    As someone that posted pure nosense in the spam section that made zero sense and accomplished nothing besides winning me a spell slot (which I sold and didn't use), I don't want it back. I personally don't see the purpose. In fact, I wish there was a way to completely eliminate all OOC posts from the post counter that goes into the Top Posters. It would be more interesting that way, but I understand that it is simply impossible to implement such a system. However, we definitely need to keep a place for advertising. As someone that is currently trying to get my own forum started, having a place like that helps other communities grow. And we should definitely keep a grasp on the misc section to make sure it doesn't turn into nonsense.

    There is a way to do such Blue, a little check box in AP and boom just like that it wont count.
