Name:Eiji Kim
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Birthday: 22/3
Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics: Scar along the right side of his mouth
Personality:
In general, Eiji is a free-thinker, which can get him to think things which might be offensive to society and because of that he is very stubborn to the law and to the authority. He doesn’t mind rebelling towards authority if he believes that they’re suppressing the freedom to act and doesn’t mind rebelling in illegal ways such as blowing up buildings or others to prove a point. As a consequence, he usually has trouble with the law, but he doesn’t really mind.
He believes that violence and destruction is a way to grow as a person both mentally and physically. He is convinced that everyone has the potential to kill and break the law, depending on the circumstances. After all, everyone has their own flaws, and everyone wants to grow and develop in this world. Because of this, he welcomes violence as he believes that it’s a way to express their ‘inner-self’, and is a way to explore human nature completely without any restrictions. Furthermore, he finds that violence is always a solution to a problem, and finds violence a very humane thing to do, even if society has taught it otherwise. Due of this, he doesn’t mind torturing anybody for his own amusement (with some exceptions), including friends and families, but having that said, he can control the desire to be violent, and usually doesn’t torture his friends unless he’s extremely desperate.
However, there are 3 exceptions when it comes down to people he can hurt, which are children, animals and priests. The reason for this is because he regards children as too innocent to receive any ill-treatment, and haven’t done anything to be harmed. He also has the need to protect animals because he thinks that they’re cute. If he sees a child or an animal being threatened by anyone, Eiji would not hesitate to hurt them back, no matter who they are. Ultimately, these are the only two things are the only things that Eiji cares about in this world.
He’s also a very unemotional man. He’s just not that kid of guy you’ll find sympathising with people’s turmoils. He finds that those who are emotional are very annoying, and doesn’t like it when people cry because he finds it obnoxious. Whether someone’s happy or sad, he’s going to act the same. As a consequence, he’ll do things without taking note of someone’s feelings such as killing a person’s family member for money. Of course he does become sad or happy on rare occasions, but when that happens, it’s very surprising indeed. Even if his family members or his friends die, well too bad for them.
He’s really superstitious to the point where some would say he’s insane. He believes in the superstition such as ghosts and spirits and believes in the afterlife. He also believes that rituals would improve the luck of a person, especially in a fight. In a way, this contributes to his love for violence because he believes that the more people he kills the more likely that the spirits will support him in the future. If anything goes wrong, he’d blame the supernatural. This is also the main reason why he doesn’t hurt priests because he believes that bad things would come to him due to their 'mystical' power.
He’s actually very knowledgeable, and is able to talk about a variety of topics even if it’s something like economics or politics. Even though Eiji isn’t shy, he doesn’t talk much, especially to strangers, but will talk more to people that he knows or acquainted with. He doesn’t openly complains about stuff and vocalise his opinions. However, this doesn’t mean that he’s unapproachable, and is unexpectantly friendly to talk to. He’s also that kind of guy who you have to talk first or else he’ll never talk.
Furthermore, he’s so laid-back that he’s almost never stressed. In fact, almost nothing could ever make him feel stress (of course there are some exceptions ). When not torturing people or causing destruction, he is always seen at the bar drinking alcohol by himself because he doesn’t really care much. However, on the rare occasions that he does get stressed, he is seen as violent.
One could say that he’s an alcoholic because he’s always seen drinking the substance, he admits because he pretty much drinks alcohol as if it was like mineral water.
In battle:
When it comes to fighting, Eiji is surprisingly calm, and doesn’t really do much. Despite his sadistic nature, he doesn’t like attacking his opponents, in fact he’s rather defensive at first. The reason for this is because he likes to drag fights as much as possible and causing as much pain to others without using much effort to do so. However, he would only fight and torture mages who he knows is weaker than him as he knows that fighting a mage stronger than him would only cause him to lose.
Eiji is definitely a follower rather than a leader. He is good at following orders, and respects their decisions, which he would follow with the best of his abilities. He also would try and protect the leader in any way as possible, however if it means sacrificing his own life, forget it. He’d rather save himself, than saving his own leader, even if the leader is someone who’s important, e.g. his guild master.
One could say that he’s a horrible leader because he usually lets the others do whatever they want to do, hence when he’s in charge there’s always a high number of injuries to those who he’s in charge of. Politically, he would be a tyrannical leader because of his love of violence. Sometimes, he would also inflict more pain towards his own followers as this provides satisfaction within him. He also doesn’t mind his comrades getting hurt, and makes no effort whatsoever to protect them, important or not, because he enjoys it when people get hurt (the more the better). In conclusion, he should never be a leader because of his poor decision-making skills, and his non-existent care for those under him.
Likes:
1. Money
Who doesn’t like money? Money can buy so many things like food, clothes, shelters and people’s trust. With money, life is so much easier. He is determined to get richer so that he can become more influential, so that more people would listen to him and follow him. Eiji knows that with money, the impossible becomes the possible and life is heaven.
2. Children
Not in a pedophilia kind of way, but he respects them because he thinks that children are the most unbiased people on earth. They don’t care about how a person looks, or the person’s status, they just want to be friends with each other. This causes Eiji to respect children more than adults, causing him to trust them more, and causing him to be nicer to them. He would like to get lots of children in the future if he has a wife (or not, who knows ;)).
3. Animals
Animals to him are like babies. They’re so adorable, and are pure, as in they’re not corrupted. What Eiji is interested the most is how animals live in a simple manner. Animals don’t fight because of religion, or culture, they fight because they want to impress their mates, and just for pure survival. That’s what Eiji respects the most about animals - the fact that animals fight because of survivalism, and only the strong survives. He feels shameful as a human, when seeing their habitats being destroyed.
4. Pain of Others
Having mentioned before that Eiji is a sadist, he always has a thing for hurting others. Giving pain to others for Eiji is like giving money to gold diggers. The expressions made on their faces is so very entertaining for Eiji. The screams made is like music to Eiji’s ears. The more pain the person receives, the better.
5. Alcohol
As a child, Eiji really hated alcohol, but as he grew up, he started liking alcohol, more and more to the point where it could be said that he is addicted to it. There’s something about alcohol that Eiji really finds compelling, even though he doesn’t really know why. It calms him down, and makes him just forget about the pressures of life. Seen drinking it all the time, he has developed the ability to drink higher amounts of alcohol than the normal person before getting drunk.
Dislikes:
1. Quite places
For Eiji, quite places are very uncomfortable to be in for some reason, especially when he’s all alone. Many things could happen in quite places, and it just doesn’t feel as safe. If he wants to relax, he would be in a bar drinking, rather than be in a place where sound is practically inexistent. He’s really paranoid when he’s in a quiet place, always feeling like someone’s watching him.
2. The Magic Council
The Magic Council to Eiji is like people from hell on earth, which is quite ironic because the magic council is there to restore peace. They restrict complete freedom with the rules they make, and so despises them because of it. He also feels like that they’re corrupted and that they make decisions not based on what is best for the people, but rather what is best to keep them in power.
3. Rules
Without rules, the world would be a more interesting place. Imagine a world where people can do whatever they want, without having to worry about the consequences. He can kill or torture anyone without the magic council having to chase his ass. He regards the world as a prison as long as rules exist. If anything, he’d like to destroy rules and make people live life to the fullest.
Motivations:
1. Freedom
He truly believes that humans are still restrictive when it comes to freedom because they still abide by the societal rules. He wants to improve humanity for others by breaking these rules so that people can do whatever they want including things that otherwise seem inhumane like killing. This is so that humans could truly live life to the fullest.
2. Evil World
Eiji wants to make the world a more evil place to spice things up a little bit, because right now the world is a bit of a boring place. By making the world a more evil place, people can be true to themselves, and life is more valued when it’s more fragile.
3. Power
He wants more power so that he could influence more people. He also wants more power so that he can beat more people, and that he wants to be able to cause as much mayhem as possible. He also wants to do whatever he wants without being afraid of someone being able to stop him.
Fears:
1. Priests
Eiji was born and grew up in a rather religious community where anarchy was based on religion. He has experienced several traumas that view religious people in a bad light and he is aware of what religious people could do if they’re in power. Due to his experiences as a child, he’s now scared of religious people and feels uneasy whenever he’s near one. If he hurts them, he’s convinced that bad spiritual things would happen to him.
2. Amnesiphobia
Eiji is afraid of getting amnesia, because he feels like his childhood memories are too precious to ever let go, because after all it’s the only way that Eiji remembers about his past and what he went through, that lead up to who he is right now. He feels like if he looses his childhood memories, he doesn’t know who he is as a person, his experiences in life and etc.
3. Being captured
He is afraid of being captured, because he feels like if that was to happen, it’s as if he’s no longer alive. If caught, his freedom would be restricted even more than imaginable, and he would no longer live life normally. He was born free, and intends to be free for a long time.
General Appearance
Height: 186cm
Weight: 75kg
Hair: Messy grey hair which nearly reaches the shoulder, and nearly always covers one eye
Eyes: Grey
Skin Tone: Pale
Appearance:
Eiji is a surprisingly very attractive male who is slim and is taller than the normal person. He also has a fit physique. His hair is quite long for a normal male, which he lets dow. His hair almost reaches the shoulders and almost always covers one of his eye. His hair is always seen messy because he doesn’t comb it or put any hair products to put it in place, as he finds it a waste of time and his hair is perfectly fine as it is. Having grey hair, people would often mistaken him as being older than he actually is.
His face is egg-shaped and is long, having a very sharp chin which gives the appearance that it can cut through any soft material like butter. His eyes are piercing grey, which can make people quite uncomfortable especially if he makes eye-contact because it always looks like he’s searching deep in their soul or something.
Eiji doesn’t like wearing clothes that are too ‘flashy’ or revealing because he doesn’t like showing his bare skin. He also doesn’t like wearing things with fur on it, due to his love for animals. For casual wear, he’s always seen wearing a formal black suit, a white shirt and black tie.
