It's time to try it out now... [Duel w/ Allison]

Daiki made her way to the Arena soon after having made a few requests for a duel around the arena itself. It hadn't been too long since she had learned of something that had made her question herself as well as have learned that trusting people leads to eventually getting hurt by them, or at least that's how it seemed to her, anyway. Finding her best friend dead and then later on finding that someone had known details to a letter she had received from Rita. After having thought about things for a bit, either the person had been Rita, somehow, or they had broken into her house and read the letter that she had received from her.

It didn't matter at the time. As she walked into the arena, her blonde hair was fastened into the drills she had started to do out a while ago. As for her clothes, she's wearing a white shirt that gets covered by a corset on her abdomen. The colors of the corset consist of both brown and white. She's also wearing a skirt, which is mainly of a yellow color, with a trim of brown at the bottom of it. Along with that, she also wears a pair of dark gloves. As for leg wear, she wears thigh-high socks. As for footwear, she wears a pair of boots the are up to just below her knees, and consist of being brown, yellow, and white. Her eyes are red, while her hair is blonde. Her shirt has a yellow ribbon tied at her collar. Though the thing that might stand out the most would be the pendant she wore, that had protected her from a bolt of lightning.

Her gaze seemed most similar to that of a dead fish as she stopped near the center of the arena, and just stood there. She had a star piercing just to the left of her left eye and down slightly. The boots she had weren't normal boots as she had recently gotten them as well, and had a Kusarigama fastened to her waist, with the chain coiled up a bit so that it wasn't a problem for her.

Allison hopped into the arena with a cheerful grin on her face, her eyes half closed and smiling as well.  Today she had a duel with someone!  Of course, the person that would be her opponent, the girl had no knowledge of-- but that was really okay.  Hopefully, this would be fun, but Allison would just mess around a little.  People that were uninjured didn't need to be fixed unless they requested it.  Although the girl did suppose that if you entered the duel arena where KOs were allowed, you were allowing yourself to be fixed in case of injury.  Either way...  Allison had unfortunately left Lel Therina behind outside of the actual fighting area because although her pet was an important part to her magic, Allison didn't want her opponent to be at a disadvantage.  She always tried her best to be fair, even if the opponent didn't.  Whether this was a good or bad thing, leaving her beloved pet out of the arena, was still to be seen.

The girl rolled up her sleeves and tilted her head to the side, glancing around the arena for the other opponent.  Allison was dressed rather inconspicuously in a light pink shirt and grey leggings, with a dark brown and black coat that reached to her mid thigh.  Her eye suddenly caught sight of another mage, or at least she assumed a person who was one, on the other side of the arena.  Allison dashed over to the young woman and held out her hand to shake. "Hi!  My name is Allison, do you need to be fixed?  Otherwise, why would you come to duel?  Unless you're okay and you just want to have fun!  I want to have fun too, let's have a good duel okay?"

Daiki soon noticed someone enter the other side of the arena, wearing quite an inconspicuous outfit, compared to what one would think, or at least one who wasn't Daiki right now. She would watch as the girl would extend her hand out for a handshake before speaking. The girl would introduce herself as Allison, and if she needed to be fixed. She didn't exactly know what the girl meant by 'needing to be fixed'. Well, she did, but she didn't much acknowledge it, due to not wanting to think about things that way, at least not yet. After a moment, her eyes would stop seeming similar to that of a dead fish's and her red eyes would watch the girl.

She would move one of her hands to shake the girls hand, but just before their hands met, she would hesitate before pulling her hand back. "Let's just start this duel... Whenever you're ready..." She would say, with little emotion in her words. She would wait for the girl to get ready before she made a move her. Though, even while she waited for the girl to get ready, the piercing near her left eye started to glow slightly before eight rifles had been summoned, landing around her once the girl had moved away from her. With the rifles on the ground, they seemed to stand on the barrel leaning towards Daiki almost on a will of their own. Daiki would be ready for the fight to start, but didn't want to jump the girl before she was ready as well.

Allison tilted her head, a bit confused by the young woman's monotone reply. Oh well... the girl thought, shrugging before nodding and smiling, then turning back to go to her side of the arena. As she left, Allison saw the her opponent summon some kind of gun weapons-- she was unfamiliar with this kind of magic, obviously, but it seemed to be rather interesting! Beginning to skip around in a small circle, Allison waited for the duel to begin. Unfortunately, it seemed that since her opponent was waiting for the other girl to make the first move, she would have to oblige. It wouldn't be any sort of good to not follow the enemy's plans, after all! They could get upset!

So, Allison smiled and focused for five seconds, materializing a small ball of energy in her hand. This was pure magic power, but could be seen by others besides herself. That was just to warn them. The girl dashed a bit closer to the woman, in range of the spell, and then threw it directly at her. Maybe it would hit, and maybe not-- but regardless, the battle was starting! Allison leaned forward to see what happened, at the same time materializing some nerve needles. This mage seemed to be at the same rank or around there, as Allison, so the girl knew her opponent most likely wouldn't be able to see them. Allison sent a group of three flying directly behind the ball of energy-- if the first spell hit, the second probably would too. At least, it should get a half-hit even when failing, if the first worked right.

Allison yawned slightly. Why was she fighting again? Someone could get hurt... but then again, the girl could always just fix anyone that was injured. And they wouldn't feel any pain at all from her attacks, anyways, as the first would just paralyze and the second would only be able to do damage without any signal of it. Another of the lovely tricks Allison had picked up after many years of assisting people in getting rid of pain. Not a single one of the three needles would cause even the slightest twinge... but that also meant the girl wouldn't really be able to tell if they hit or not. Allison threw six more of the needles after a bit of time, hoping that at least two of them had hit in the right spots. They were invisible, after all.

The blonde woman would watch the girl start to skip around in a small circle and soon focused on something for a few seconds before she realized what it was. She had noticed the magical energy in the girls hand and watched as she dashed forward. Daiki would slide one of her feet to hit one of the rifles with her foot to launch it into the air, grabbed it, and swing it so that particular rifle would take the hit for that attack instead of her, but what she didn't tell was the second attack following the first which had also hit the rifle. Luckily for her, the rifle seemed unharmed, in which she would drop it with a slight flick before catching the stock end and grabbing the other one with very few wasted movements in doing so.

Though soon after she would feel a few things hit her, but she didn't feel any pain. The rest had missed, but she had watched the girl make a throwing motion, but didn't see anything leave her hands, which would mean she would have to be careful. After the few hits had hit, she would continue to make no movement wasted when firing, letting go of, and grabbing more rifles. Every time she would let go of one rifle, another would be summoned, though she would only fire eight shots for the time being. She would be surrounded by eight more rifles before she stood still once more, facing the girl. A few seconds after her firing had stopped, she would inhale deeply before beginning to exhale a beam of dark light at the girl, using her Light Gods Shout. Should the girl try and dodge it, she would be able to swing the beam slightly in a better attempt to hit her, though that would only be if she decided to sidestep. Though once that spell had gone off, she would then use her Light Gods Flare, which would create an orb above her that would shine a bright light in an attempt to disorient her.

Allison could tell that unfortunately, the majority of her spells had missed, and the woman had sent a barrage of bullets flying back at her.  Eyes widening, the girl quickly pushed up off the ground and began to skip around and weave around them, dodging most but not all of the onslaught.  Soon afterwards, the woman opened her mouth and a great beam of light shot out straight at Allison, and upon instinct she dropped to the ground, her face suddenly pressed into the soft sand.  When it was all over, Allison spat out the grains that had been collected into her mouth and lifted up her head to check if it was going to be blown off any time soon.

However, just as the poor girl had done so a bright light flashed into her eyes, and Allison desperately squeezed her eyes shut, just barely avoiding being completely blinded.  Nonetheless, she had some funny black and green spots in her vision now.  Umm... light dragon slayer, demon slayer, or god slayer, the girl decided mentally.  Well, she had noticed that a few of her needles had hit, but unfortunately the girl seemed to have noticed.  Maybe her pain minimizer had malfunctioned, and Allison's opponent was in pain right now??  The girl's eyes immediately widened at the thought.  She had messed up?  Then the woman had to quickly be fixed before she was forced to undergo any more suffering.

Allison sat up and swiftly summoned another nerve blade, again invisible, and dashed towards the young woman.  She was moving at sixteen meters per second, and could sustain it for two seconds.  Covering the distance between them easily, the girl slashed out and then triggered her Repression, which began to channel immediately.  Now to see what the woman would do-- no one could tell that her Repression was triggered, as nothing actually happened until the channeling time was over.  Allison hadn't even moved.  And if her nerve blade had hit, then the woman would be paralyzed since she was equal to the girl's rank, and her Repression would hit for sure.  At the same time, Allison felt her health removed by the bullet barrage and blinding, immediately return.

The blonde had watched as her opponent had dodged some of her barrage of bullets, and had quickly made a move to dodge her spell by moving underneath it. She would growl slightly to herself before hoping that the girl had been more effected by the spell that was just to disorient her more than the first spell. Though it seemed that it hadn't as the girl had quickly dashed towards her, faster than she would have expected someone to do so that was around her rank. Luckily for Daiki, she was also one who was able to move fast as well. As the girl closed the gap between them, she would quickly bring up her leg to quickly kick the hand that had a slashing movement as she had done so to give her an opening. She would kick another two times with the same leg, in an attempt to do some actual damage with her boots.

Should the two strikes hit, she would kick again with her other leg once she had put the foot she had kicked with the first time on the ground, to try and get some distance between the two. Whether or not it worked, she would start grabbing rifles again and firing another set of shots at the woman, though the movements she was making this time around were roughly the same, but in reverse of what she had before. Though after the first eight shots, and each rifle being replaced with a new one, she would continue on to do a second set of shots towards the girl, in an attempt to keep the woman on her toes, or else she'd get hit even more. Though she didn't move much from where she originally stood, she couldn't move much from where she was on her own due to the rifles.

Internally, Allison was crying.  The woman had tried to dodge too late and too little, and hadn't reacted to her Repression at all really, except to kick at Allison a little bit, but not sending her enough ways away to actually break the channel.  So... her Repression had worked.  It would deal two C Rank damages this post, and a half C Rank in damage for the next three posts.  And the woman would be completely incapacitated for two posts because of the pain, since she seemed to be equal to the red haired girl in rank.  This was not really Allison's favorite type of battle, one that wasn't necessary at all.  That was why she had used Repression, to end it quickly in the case that the other woman didn't dodge it.  And... she hadn't.

Allison withdrew quickly, feeling her own health ebbing away from her opponent's attacks.  All she had to do was dodge as best she could.  The woman was already stationary due to her attacks with whatever kind of guns those were, and Allison wasn't the best at healing anyways.  Lel Therina usually did that for her, and the girl had been forced to leave her companion outside of the arena.  But there was something else... she closed her eyes for a split second, and a shield popped into existence.  It too was invisible like most of Allison's magic, but this was something special.  It could reflect a C Rank spell and a D Rank spell, or part of a B Rank spell.  But also, it regenerated health and in the end could reflect three C Rank spells and a whole B Rank spell if left untouched.  The downside for the enemy was that the more powerful spell she used, the more the woman would be injured.  

Allison was trying to finish this battle-- Repression had definitely hurt the woman because it was a key nature of the spell, and therefore Allison's opponent needed to be fixed immediately.  Since the woman seemed to be using B Rank attacks, the shield wouldn't be able to reflect it all, but it would still be able to absorb the damage and not break.  Unfortunately, although the enemy might take damage from her own attacks being reflected if she couldn't dodge it, and from Repression which was not dodged, (which was about 3 C Ranks of damage altogether if both hit), Allison had too.
