Claymore sees the beauty and inspiration in everyone and everything. To him the world is his material and his hands are the tools used to mold every last moment. There is no greater glory then to have Claymore craft your likeness into one of his many wonderful statues. At least that is how he sees it. Claymore treats each statue as if it’s a very part of his soul and even to see one statue with the smallest crack causes him to fall on his knees and cry in sorrow. It is his greatest quest to travel the world seeing all the different arts so that one day he’ll make use of each one and create the ultimate masterpiece that’ll cement his legacy forever.
Claymore’s love for the beauty of the world pales in comparison to his love of his very own image. To him nothing creates a more astonishing sight then his beautiful body and face. If Claymore was able to he would replace every statue with one of himself so he could look at his astoundingly good looks all the time. He even goes out of his way in the middle of a fight to carefully trim and comb his spectacular mustache, a stache he’s declared to be the king of all mustaches. Should even a single hair on his mustache become frazzled he’d set out on quest to pay back twice fold the damage that was done to his majestic beauty.
His love for the sculpting arts didn’t come quite as naturally as one would think. Claymore’s passion came from the lack of respect he got from his father when he was younger. As a kid he was different then his three older brothers. Each one of his brothers embraced their father’s training of brute force and extreme power and excelled when it came to difficult physical tasks. Claymore however didn’t have the initial body to sustain the training and so was looked down upon as a weakling by his father. In his failure he looked to his mother who was highly skilled in the magical arts. She was the complete opposite of Claymore’s father, using grace and control to shape and form the earth at her command. Over time Claymore managed to hone his own skills turning feeble mud into objects of beauty while always being reminded by his mother that the earth was life and to always respect it.
Even though a majority of the time Claymore may seem like some kind of a goof ball he actually has a serious side to him. He puts the life of others ahead of his own and ever since the incident with his father and sister Claymore has committed to centering his magic on protection rather than power and forcefulness. This quality has even put him to the point of near death but he’d do it all again if it meant that he had protected someone with all his might rather than give in to stronger forces. After all even the most serious of injuries is just a bloody flesh wound when it comes to his friends and family.
Although Claymore has focused his power on the protection of others there hasn’t really been much of an opportunity for him to truly test out that in a team role. The first time he had any experience was when he was under training with his mother and sister using three man formations to combine their powers but even then it was under any real threatening situations. Claymore’s more of a follower then a doer when it comes to leadership. With a defensive mentality he doesn’t have that brute force aspect to lead the charge but he has the prowess to make sure that those going in are at least going to be making it out and have support on the way. It’s the tough situations when casualties are unavoidable that would be extremely complicated for Claymore. He’s more of the person that would think a plan through and come up with one that requires no casualties and if he doesn’t then he comes up with one where the only one in trouble would be himself therefore securing his fellow comrades lives.

-His glorious body: Every man should have a body like his!
-The Different Art Styles: Other’s arts inspire him to create even greater masterpieces every day.
-Traveling: One doesn’t learn much by staying in one place. The more experience the better the art.
Dislikes:
-Razors: The devious devices shall never come within the closest of margins to his mighty mustache.
-Dissing Da Stache: No one disses the mustache. Even Clay’s own family leaves that alone
-Look But Don’t Touch: His glorious body is for Clay and Clay alone. Although he admires everyone around him praising his body those that touch feel the wrath of “The Chop”.
Motivations:
-Lost Respect: Wants to gain enough knowledge to gain back the respect of his father and show him that force isn’t always right.
-Rid the world of lifeless art: Claymore has taken it upon himself to not only better his sculpting but to also make others art even better. Should even one person find some joy in his teachings then the world would truly be a better place.
-Money: He wants to one day make enough to be able to open up his own art symposium that displays arts that he collects from all across the world. He feels that even the smallest of art is just as important as the greatest of arts.
Fears:
-Losing His Mustache: He loves his mustache even more then his own body. Should he ever lose his stache it would be like losing a very close family member. He would morn it for many days while crying like a small child in a corner.
-Needles: Claymore absolutely fears needles. Ever since he was a kid and had to get his immunization shots the mere sight of a needle causes him to turn pale and then faint. Even to this day nurses have to blindfold Claymore to do any proper testing.
-Flying: Claymore prefers to have his feet square on the ground. If humans were meant to fly then they should've been born with wings otherwise they should just stay on the ground.

Appearance: While his magical power is up his body maintains a rough rigid figure with muscular arms, torso, and legs. When his power is low or drained his body tends to shrink giving him a slight stick like look. He wears no shoes as he prefers to feel the earth on his feet and doing so has toughen his feet to be able to withstand even the toughest of conditions. Each leg has a set of white cloth leg wrappings that go from the feet to the top of the shin. He prefers to go shirtless as everyone should be able to see his wonderful body but every now and then for formal occasions he'll wear a white button free cloth vest that covers just enough of his body for him not to look too much like a hooligan. Instead of pants he wears a ceremonial half robe that was passed down from his mother's family. Majority of the robe is blue with golden yellow linings and a white belt around his waist. The top half of the robe is much the same but since Claymore prefers the vest over the hood he'll only wear the upper portion when its raining on his travels.
