Special Characteristics: Makuna can alternate between between two forms: her goddess form which is more human in appearance and her spirit form, which takes on the appearance of a large, white wolf. The goddess form possess a myriad of canine attributes, including fangs, a tail, wolf ears, and claws. Both forms possess strange red markings on her her body.

Personality: Makuna boasts herself as a regal lady who does not throw herself into undignified situations. For instance, she abstains entirely from alcohol to avoid the possible mishaps often associated with drinking, such as obnoxious rambling, uninhibited flirting, and the explosion of emotions coupled with loose lips. Being put into such a stupor would surely mortify the woman to the point of despair. She does not dance either, whether it be an event as classy as a ballroom dance or as trashy as a nightclub. Her hips do not “move to the beat” for fear that she would make a spectacle of herself or give others the wrong impression of herself. Games also make the list of things she finds beneath her, believing them to be mere distractions for children and imbeciles. Board games especially irritate her, not only because they personify the immaturity of games but because she resents her lack of skill with them.

As a minor goddess, Makuna naturally feels herself superior to mortals. At the mercy of her own thought process, she is inclined to believe that she is smarter, stronger, and faster than any man or woman that Earthland can produce. She has come to find that the only fitting role for an inferior people – such as the human race – is to serve higher beings such as herself. With that being said, one of Makuna’s higher aspirations is to find faithful, human worshippers who will bow down to her, obey her, and pamper her. That’s not to say she is entirely heartless to the needs and cares of humans; she does not go out of her way to hurt humans, abuse them unnecessarily, or shamelessly humiliate them. She prefers, instead, to stay out of the business of mortals and tends to involve herself only when it seems fitting to her.

In exercise of her power, Makuna takes a conservative approach. She does not like to flaunt her abilities and, even in a heated battle, she abhors using her powers in excess. The most obvious exception is when her pride is wounded. If her opponent were to shame her in any way, Makuna will do all in her power to end the man or woman who humiliated her. At those times, she will even release all inhibitions on her spirit form, a form that she prefers not to use since it’s not very “ladylike.” Should she fail to kill said person, it can be assured that she will harbor a vendetta against that person for quite some time. Generally, she isn’t a very aggressive person in combat nor does she like to show off, instead opting to subdue or kill her opponent as quickly as time will permit.

Makuna does not take kindly to orders, finding it beneath herself. She prefers to do as she pleases without the rules and regulations of others. While she might follow a rule or obey someone, it’s likely to her own liking and because it either benefits her or interests her in some regard. The sole exception is family. She will obey elder family members without question in respect to the family hierarchy of seniority, no matter how disorganized said family might be. When it comes to younger family members, or her twin for that matter, it could go either way but the chances of respecting a request from a family member is significantly better than those from anyone else. On the other end of the spectrum, Makuna has no problem telling people what to do. Her role, she believes, is one of a leader (as any goddess would believe) though her decisions tend to be shortsighted.

Likes:

• Classiness: Makuna conceitedly considers herself a woman with class and thus, prefers company with class. Behaving with manners – the manners found in the spirit world anyway – is a sure way of making a good impression with her. Then again, she also expects humans to know their place and act accordingly while in her presence; that is, they should not disrupt her, annoy her, or antagonize her in anyway.
  
• Family: Family is considered to be the essence of her Makuna’s core. Everything she does can be considered an extension of benefitting the family. Very rarely does her aspirations and the good of her family contradict each other.
  
• Followers: Anyone who declares Makuna as his or her patron goddess will automatically be received into her good graces.
  

Dislikes:

• Idleness: When people are idle, they are doing nothing productive. Such a state is abhorred by Makuna, who finds idleness to be the root cause of a slow and quiet world. Consequently, she’s not a fan of laziness either.
  
• Touching: With the exception of family members, Makuna does not like to come into physical contact with others, whether it be a hug or a handshake.
  
• Insomnia: As the patron goddess of dreams, Makuna tends to look down on insomnia and those stricken by it.
  

Motivations:

• Adoration: It’s only natural for a minor goddess such as Makuna to desire worship from humans. She has – and still is – going to great lengths to gain recognition for herself in Earthland, encouraging mortals she has encountered to set up shrines in her honor. Unlike other deities, however, she ambitiously trying to establish herself as the patron god of Earthlnd. She will not rest until the entire world is paying homage no other god – with the exception of family members – but her.
  
• Authority: Makuna is not one to respect authority but instead respects the position of authority. She strives to have more authority over others, whether it be over mortals or other gods.
  
• Full Goddess Status: She has no idea how or if it’s even possible but Makuna is vigilant in finding a way to make herself into a full goddess.
  

Fears:

• God Slayers: There is something extremely frightening about mortals capable of killing gods. While Makuna does not like the idea of dying at all, there is something mortifying about being killed by a mortal.
  
• Shame: Pride is the crux of Makuna. Consequently, she remains hard at work in keeping her image and preventing a lapse of un-lady-like behavior. In that regard, she also tries to prevent family members from bringing shame to the family name, a task that can seem impossible at times.
  
• Loss of Family: There is no greater bond Makuna has than family. She does not appreciate threats to her family nor does she take lightly danger hurdled toward family members.
