Vendredi had just accepted her first job request, which surprisingly was one directed to a mage, but asked that no magic be used to complete the mission. Perhaps it is one of those people who wish to get mages to stop using magic, thought the girl, deciding that it didn't really matter anyways. She would complete the job request and the result would be the same either way. The mage stared up the mountain side, which seemed to be steep and rocky ground that a person not using magic could easily slip or trip on while trying to venture up to the village at the top. Shaking her head but refusing to turn back, Vendredi sighed and started up the thin trail that supposedly led to the top. There was no magic allowed, unfortunately, or she might have just flown-- the girl was determined to follow what the request had entailed, even if there was no possible way the man and his son could have known that she used flying magic to arrive at their residence.
