Special Characteristics
- Dark Celestial Spirit: Aurora is effectively the leftovers from a different experiment, with the end result being a more corrupted form of what was supposed to be pure. Despite all of her hijinks at the end of the day she is a dark celestial spirit, which, in her mind, is more of a bane than anything anyone else could do to her.
Personality
Aurora has a bubbly persona most of the time, normally taking most things in stride. Generally she can be caught laughing and having a good time with everyone that she is chatting with. Frequently without trying she ends up becoming the center of attention due to her most abrasive personality. This natural ability to become the center of attention, for better or worse, causes her some discouragement, as she doesn’t always like to be noticed by everyone in the area, and would rather just get to know a few people rather than speak to a bunch. Normally when dealing with others, Aurora will act very polite, with her biggest ‘rude” accusations typically being her just walking away from the one that managed to get under her skin. Oddly enough despite enjoying being around others Aurora can also function in a quiet environment, though normally she’d prefer to hang out with at least one other person while being there, the quiet type who enjoys the smaller things in life, a nice book (or video game) by the fire with some tea (or mountain dew), or perhaps a small get together to catch up on old times. This makes Aurora a little bit weird as they are someone who enjoys being social, but at the same time can relax in a more quiet environment. This could easily be considered one of her many good qualities, or just a quirk of her strange upbringing, she’s very adaptable to different social situations, with very few stigmatisms attached to her outlook upon others, and the environment that she hangs out with them in. Still Aurora in general, prefers to try and get to know a single person really well rather than have a bunch of acquaintances that they know only upon the surface. This has led to her seeking out a small group of close friends, confidants even, rather than the dozens of “friends” that others claim they have obtained over the years. Aurora isn’t interested in making this sort of social interaction a competition, as you can’t have a competition for determining how well you know someone, due to how subjective knowledge of another can become. Still, Aurora enjoys knowing people extremely well, due to a slight hiccup in their personality, dealing with some in built paranoia of others, which currently is healthy but could still sway to the opposite.
Speaking of paranoia, Aurora‘s paranoia often means that her questions are unrelenting and her growing of friendships is incredibly slow. Aurora often finds it hard to truly trust someone, on both a personal and business level. She has trusted once before and in her mind it hadn’t really worked out all that well for both her, and everyone else “involved”. This is Aurora’s explanation, or excuse if you wish to interoperate this attitude that way, as to why she tends to try and get along with one or two people incredibly well rather than just know a bunch of strangers. When first meeting her, Aurora will act friendly, but don’t expect her to try her best to become friends with you if she is already trying to figure a few people out at the time. Regardless Aurora’s paranoia has sort of laid the foundations of mistrust, obviously, and it has been shown in her abilities and occasionally speech patterns. Aurora‘s dislike of “fake” people is incredibly obvious if you know her decently enough, and can pick up her subtle hints of hatred for lying. She dislikes those who hide who or what they are in order to pursue some form of goal, which she normally views as a negative one to achieve if they have to hide it, even if it is a good goal at the end of the day. This normally appears contrary to her friendly demeanor, often causing those who know only that side of her to raise an eyebrow in confusion at the slight attitude change. In fact if someone is a fake person, such as one is replacing or hiding as another, or just a plain pathological liar, Aurora will normally act with hostility towards them, with it potentially turning violent if they are a “big enough threat” in her mind. Only time will tell if she ever get over this quirk/disability, or if she can ever get over it.
Aurora doesn’t routinely express unpleasant feelings such as anger, as she learned from experience to channel such feelings into other more productive aspects of her mental health or to simply walk away from what is frustrating her, though she still struggles with nerd rage at various games from time to time. Aurora will throw this ability to channel such negative feelings out the window if the object of her paranoia is likely involved; this means she can get very hostile and generally pretty pissed off, especially if it is proven that they are harmful and are within reach of being eliminated, thus solving the “problem”. This isn’t to the point where she isn’t the same person, most of the time you could try and reason with her, but it might come as a shock to others who have never witnessed it before. Despite her friendly and adaptable nature Aurora normally doesn’t enjoy being the one in charge of others mostly because she knows of her flaws and, according to her, minor paranoia, which can cloud her judgment and cause people to potentially lose their lives, or at least get hurt. While some might tell Aurora that she is being dramatic, she’ll simply argue that it could potentially happen, which is good enough for her to not attempt it, due to the perceived failings within her mind. This pattern of thinking is an odd self-realization about her little condition, she knows about the paranoia and can act off it, but at the same time she can’t help but be a bit of a slave to it, thankfully, for now, it helps her deal with reality and lets her know that she can’t really lead anyone in her current condition. Following orders is a bit hard for her as well, unless she actually knows the person and trusts them to a certain degree, meaning that most snap orders from those “above” her will be treated with much suspicion, or not followed, but one from a closer ‘friend” will be considered.
In battle Aurora is mostly just an observer, at least for the first little bits of said conflict. Aurora doesn’t really like to engage in a battle head on in a serious way unless it is fight against something either massive, or whatever peeks her hunger. Aurora normally even against such targets plays more defensively leading to a cautious style that ends up having her act as a patient hunter than a raving lunatic. Occasionally this gets her into trouble, but most of the time, it pays off in the end, since if you wait for the right time to strike, most enemies can’t repel, all it takes is just a bit of poking and the weakness can be found. This makes her style more adaptable to every opponent she faces as she tends to wait for them to show their tricks and cards before she engages in the battle.
Likes
- Technology: Aurora likes all forms of technology, not just the kind with electronics’ throughout. This is no more evident whenever they see any kind of technology that they like and then immediately think about how to improve it, and typically fangirl over it.
- Close Friends: Aurora likes to have close friends, because that means that they have someone else to rely upon if something goes wrong, and they aren’t lonely. Having lots of friends means that they can always have someone to talk to, even if that someone ends up in their stomach on accident.
- Socialization: Aurora enjoys being in social situations with others, this is sort of like having close friends, but more the way that she goes about getting them.
Dislikes
- Deception: If you can’t trust a person then nothing they do or say will really matter. Deception is a poison that creeps into the minds and bodies of those exposed, and Aurora wants no parts of it. If she finds out that she has been deceived, the normally calm girl might just turn into a firecracker.
- Leading Others: Aurora is fine leading herself, or those she has “summoned” but in terms of leading others, even if they are her friends, then she isn’t so sure about it. Why should she lead others when she can just use herself?
- Separation: Aurora doesn’t like being separated from others most of the time, instead they like to be around people for comfort and social experiences. They can start to get a little bit paranoid if they aren’t around people.
Motivations
- Finding Genuine Relationships: Aurora is interested in finding relationships that are true, rather than just fake or used for some kind of personal gain. Aurora really just wishes to know people for who they actually are rather than some kind of fake front that they try to put on. This is partially due to her personality and partially due to her paranoia she has developed.
- Obtaining Technology: Aurora drives to obtain and create the best technology the world has and will ever see. This doesn’t just apply to all the fancy stuff that runs on electricity of batteries, no this is all forms of technology made by mankind, from a humble little knife to a super computer all of it Aurora strives to make the best of each category and item possible… this may take her a while.
- Conquering Paranoia: Aurora‘s probably most potent desire to conquer their paranoia, which has been developed due to past events with their various siblings, which lead them to be a bit more reversed or fake about their happiness. In reality they strive to get over it, but for now the emotional trauma is a bit too much for them to handle.
Fears
- Losing (Electrical) Power: While most of the world is kind of in the dark ages in terms of technology, Aurora still fears the power being cut off during one of their favorite little sessions with technology. It’s a very silly fear, but they really do get sensory deprivation whenever they can’t access some more of more advanced technology.
- Her Siblings: Aurora‘s fear of their siblings is more of a respectful fear. They know what they are capable of and that is why they fear them, in order to try and not become their next victim, or to become too much like them.
- Too Much Power: Anyone with too much power is a threat to others and could potentially become corrupt. Aurora fears the day that they might get too much and become said threat to others, though they don’t vocalize it much, if at all.

To discuss Aurora’s appearance one must first look at her body proper, as the clothes are what goes on it, though sadly the clothes are far more varied and interesting to discuss. Aurora isn’t physically mature on the superficial end. Some would expect her to be a big asset wonder girl with super powers (which is probably true but she doesn’t view it that way), when in reality she is just pretty “average”. Her bust isn’t too big (according to her view from her various travels, which again is wrong on so many levels) only giving her
Typically Aurora will wear her hair just straight as she gets annoyed maintaining different styles all the time. On occasions that are special however, she will wear it in a twin tails style or even a ponytail (aka when she actually sees someone in person most of the time). Typically this is done only at formal get-togethers or perhaps a date (if she ever gets one), but as said before not during just average life. Her hair length is quite long and she is somewhat proud of it as it’s a feature she doesn’t see too many others sharing with her all that often, and if they do they normally don’t share her hairs shade so it’s fine. Her hair reaches to her waist in length, and because of this she typically has bangs going for her hairstyle. The reason the bangs are mentioned is because it is the one aspect of her hair she will cut, as she likes to be able to see.
Outfits for Aurora are very amusing. She prefers darker colors in terms of her clothing and as such will typically appear a little bit Goth, or rather Goth Lolita. She isn’t Goth in the slightest emotionally but appearance wise it is just something she found attractive. She also likes to highlight her hair and many dark colors go with it better than light bright level gradients. The main drawback of her choice in clothing colors is that her skin tends to be highlighted as well, and she tends to look even paler than she actually is. She likes to ignore this fact and say it doesn’t exist but it is a fact of her life regardless if she ignores it or not. The color list she prefers to wear is as follows: black, grey, brown, green, blue, and red, all of which are darkened versions of their regular colors, except for black as that doesn’t make sense.
Aurora’s choice of clothing besides coloring is oddly varied. She prefers to wear skirts over pants and short sleeved tops over long sleeved. Chilly days are her antithesis as she frequently complains about them despite her choice attire. Typically she enjoys more frilly attire over the sun dress variety of clothing and despite being encouraged to avoid accessories she tries to throw them onto outfits or herself whenever possible. A bow here maybe a bracelet or earrings all of which are fair game for her lack of real fashion sense. This tends to make her outfits originally horrible and again it will be up to someone else to knock them into non-embarrassment levels of fashion. Aurora isn’t impartial to wearing a dress, or more formal clothing however, though she normally will have to go out and buy a new one for such an occasion as her bags don’t carry such clothing all that often. Aurora Despite liking what many consider to be “miniskirts” doesn’t like to show too much skin on the upper regions and totally not because she lacks confidence at all; just modesty is a key factor for a young girl to show over most of her body.
