Apollo walked inside looking around the entrance. He looked amazed by the décor or the house. It was very expensive and very intricate. He took another step in and the maid shut the door behind him. The young women looked at Apollo with a hint of lust and desire. She had long blonde hair and looked to be 120 lb roughly. She had blue eyes like the sky and stood at about Apollo’s height. She was wearing a very fancy white and purple dress with gold trim. She grinned looking over him almost scanning him. “you might do...oh yes” she nods “Please take a seat” He ask tilting his head. Apollo nods and sits in front of a nice wooden desk “So Miss Brinna shall we discuss the job? " “I’d love to Apollo le-“ She pauses the darts a hateful look at the maid looking angrily” Um are you still here leave you stupid maid” She snaps and her. “the maid bow “My apologizes mistress” she looks bows and hurry’s out of the room. Apollo looked back at her who now has her eyes locked on Apollo. He then looks at her who’s still day dreaming. He sighs thinking this was a mistake but then he simply snaps his fingers to get her attention. Apollo just looked at her getting really sick of her games. He didn't want keep beating around the bush want to get the job started as soon as possible. So he took a minute. Apollo gave a sigh and crosses arms looking at her. “Well I mean aside from me protecting you… We could get better acquainted.” Just then she jumps like she had the idea of a century, then gave a smirk. “You make a good point Apollo however there’s something…I’d like you to do.” She grinned just as he was before. Apollo gave a gulp and looked at her wondering what the request was. “All right sure what is it” he asked almost regretting it instantly. She has stood up and slowly with a bit of swagger in her step walked over behind Apollo. She then put her hand on his shoulders and rubbed them ever so slightly. She bent down like she was going to whisper something into his ear. Best made Apollo very uneasy aside from the fact that she was being extremely seductive she had a weird error about her. He just looked back at her with a hint of confusion. She grinned as she talked “you have the poses my husband. “ Apollo went wide-eyed for a moment not believing what he just heard.

Apollo didn’t believe me just heard, but it wasn’t a totally ludicrous thought. Rather than think about this in a weird way, he started to think about it more tactfully. Apollo simply gave a nod and then a small smile. “Sure why not it seems better that way anyhow.” With that she is clad fast and then skipped around stopping at her chair. “Good good glad we can agree then.” She then took a seat at her desk intertwining her fingers together. “Now but finer details of the job.. I need to get to my winter home and there are some men that didn’t like my parents, not my parents are gone they want to make me compensate. I kindly told them no… And now they want to kill me I think if I get my winter home I be safe.” She nodded looking at him as she tapped her desk. “Okay so it will be about a day’s journey you aware of that correct.” He asked wondering how much she thought about this. She started to talk and almost a mocking tone “yes I know it’s going take more than a day will have to stop and rest… Unless you are not okay with that.” By now Apollo was quite sick of this woman and sigh a little. “of course we will best I don’t know if I have the energy to go that long.” He bluffs convincingly. With that she nods. “Already come back in an hour and will leave.” She grins shooing them out from the room.

Apollo groaned as he was standing outside the office. He looked back wondering what just happened in their even though he knew clearly what happened. As he was in thought he heard a familiar voice. As he turned he saw the meeting on standing there with just a metal tray against her chest. “Well now that went well didn’t.” Apollo nods and then tells his head a bit as he starts to walk towards the entrance. “Is she always like this?” He asked with uncertainty. He then left and waited for an hour while the duchess got ready to go. While he waited is there to think how to protect the doctors on his trip. At the end of the hour he went back to meet with the duchess and go. As Apollo go on the wagon he noticed the back filled with assorted bags and luggage. He looks at her wondering why she has so much packed. Her eyes were fixed on Apollo at the beginning of their journey he sighed looking up at the blue sky which looked pretty nice this time of day he looked at Brinna as they got to the boarder of the town but before Apollo could speak she spoke for him. “Just to let you know don’t think you can order me around just because your my body guard got it?” She said as she shot and cute but evil grin at Apollo.” Apollo just sighed not wanting to make trouble. “Ok but if a fight happens just stay down ok” he told her with so authority. She just puffed her cheeks and glared. “Fine you better be good though” She giggled “I’d hate for such a cute applicant to well die on me” She said with expectation in her voice. “I don’t think you have to worry about me dying like I said before defensive spell are my specialty.” She tilted her head a little bit. "So you can’t hurt people then?” She looked confused. Apollo shrugs “I have offensive spells but there not as powerful as my other spells.” Apollo nods his head a little bit she glared at him “great so you can protect but can’t fight…” She pouts. Apollo groaned but decided not to answer seeing very little point in it. He could tell this would be a very long ride.

As the cart moved all Apollo with a constant lookout. Not that he expected much trouble but it’s always good to be prepared. Just that the duchess is shoulder. He darted a look at her then turned to his head. “You need something duchess?” He asked while still observing the area. “Are you always this serious why not have some fun?” She asked pouting of the un amused by the trip. Apollo groaned as he looked at her. “Miss with all due respect you hired me protect you from people who are trying to kill you and now you want me to entertain you?” He looks at her confused. “Well.. Yeah you’re a member of the fairy tail guild aren't you, make something blowup.” She said with a sparkle in her eyes. Apollo just groaned and rolled his eyes. Apparently his guild has given him all reputation for better or for worse. He darted a look at her and then groaned. “Not all of us destroyed our town to do our job” she just pouted and looked at him. “You’re so boring, you’re lucky you are cute otherwise I’d have used thrown out” she crossed her arms look at him. “Whatever you say duchess what ever you say… As of now though I am here and I’ll see this job to the end.” He nods his head then goes back pay attention. Just then something seemed kind of odd he thought he saw something on my in the woods. Then he confirmed only some of us on the bus up ahead. “Bandits…” He said to himself as he prepped himself for fight.

As Apollo looked around he then turned to Brinna “get down now we got trouble” he said calmly try not to alarm her unnecessarily. Just up ahead looking confused “what you mean trouble?” She said with a dumb look on her face. Just then all bronze beetle that her. She just shrieked in hair as it flew at her. Apollo turned keeping an eye on the Bush ahead. With the clasp of his hands he called out his spell “Mirror Wall!” He calls out then large wall peers between her and the beetle. As the beetle hits the wall it streaks in pain as the force is sent back into the body. Then pretend the triangle formation. “get down now!” He called her. Finally she does what he says and quickly ducked. As a shield wall the pates Apollo calls out his spell. “Energy Flare!” Brinna feels forced people above her as the beetle gets slammed by the force spell. Hits it directly unable to dodge because flying back into a tree. With the hard thud it hits the ground and then Apollo immediately focuses forward these two thieves standing in the road. “Oi just give us the gal and you can walk away.” They say trying to sound intimidating. He looks at her unable to see her face and then turns to them. “Right tell you what… Come and try and kill her." He says baiting them into an attack. She darted to look at Apollo and then the two bandits spoke "we were hoping you say that will be taking your valuables and your lives" with that they started jumping around in front of them like rabbits. Apollo observed and got ready to fight back

Apollo watch them jump around as they approached in their vicious assault.  Not that he could hit them with his energy flare anyhow he says there is a simpler solution. He then took a side stuff hopping on the edge of the cart jumping in front of the duchess Brinna.  He then drew a mental line in the ground to gauge when to cast a spell then they jumped just passing the line and as they passed the line he clasps his hand together in casts his spell. “Tempest Shield!” He calls out as a black vortex appears in front of them blocking their attack just in the nick of time.  As the knives strike against the shield it absorbs their blows.  They then jumped back getting some distance from Apollo. “I see the little brat has some tricks up his sleeve.. But you won’t be so lucky this time around”  the one scoffs.  Apollo stops to think before rubbing his head in a little less serious. “Come at me them and i'll destroy you” he says sounding quite arrogant before getting ready again.  They then dashed at him again jumping all around.  Apollo acted like he was aiming a spell but was actually watching that line on the ground he made in his mind. As they got closer he just started counting.  “Three… Two… One… Tempest Shield”  he says he clasps his hand together.  “As they are both right in front of them about to stab them their eyes widen.  “Wait what!”  They look as a black vortex appears again hitting them with their own attack again.  They just fall slumping front of the cart defeated.  Apollo just stares down at them shaking his head.

Apollo looks at the bandits jumping down in front of them. Looking at them trying to discern who sent them.  She looks up at him tilting her head.  “Are they… Defeated?”  She asks in a scared town.  Apollo simply nods looking up at her. “Yes, you’re safe now.”  He looks at her. “Shall we keep going?” He asked looking at them then back at her.  “What about them?”  She looks at the bandits that just attack them.  “ Apollo side and shook his head ” I didn't kill them so wake up eventually.” He says grabbing their shoulders to move them.  “Her eyes go wide “are you nuts the wake-up and come to kill us again… Finish them off.”  Apollo just looked up at her and shook his head. “Sorry I don’t kill us I need to I-“  he gets cut off as Brinna starts to shout at him. “Oh my God will you just grow a damn spine and finish them before they kill us again!”  Apollo just looked furious at her.  He clenched his fists and just looked at her. “Look that’s not how I operate... And that’s not how my guild operates you should take a life unless you’re prepared to lose your own if you want them dead so bad you kill them otherwise let’s move on.”  He says with some anger in his voice.  She discussed turning away.  “You mages are all the same unable to do what needs to be done."  As he moves the last bandit off the road he just shakes his head. “Learn some humility it’ll help you in the future”  he says as he gets in the cart.  She just looks away and they continue on.

The cart ride was quiet for the rest of the day.  Apollo could tell she was just thinking about what he told her.  Which in all honesty she could use.  Apollo just kept watch as he thought about what he told her.  He didn’t feel he had the right to preach about humility when he himself wanted to kill someone.  He just looked up and thought about what his parents would think of him and now.  He didn’t know they be part of the decisions you made or if they would’ve had him lead a different life. This was all uncertain to him for the most part.  He then looked at Brinna who was just looking often distance.  She then noticed Apollo looking at her “what do you need?”  Apollo shrugged thinking of the first excuse that came to mind.  “You just seem awfully quiet in comparison to before,  something on your mind”  she scoffs at him in her usual fashion  "why do you even care?”  Apollo sighs was  and looks forward.  “No reason I suppose just curious”  is shakes her head.  “I’m fine okay just pay attention."  She points forward.  “Right of course” he says knowing what she’s thinking about just wanted to confirm it.  After a while Apollo stops the cart looking around a clearing.  “I think this is a good place to set up camp for the night.” He says as the cart stops.  As he hops off and looks around Brinna just looks around. “All right fine set up camp” Apollo groans shaking his head “yes duchess...” he says as he set the camp.

After he started the fire and placed bedding down he goes over to the fire where Brinna is sitting warming up. He then sits watching the fire. After a few moments of silence Brinna looks at him. “Why don’t we have a tent?” Apollo without looking up answered her. “I can protect you better if there is no tent… Besides it’s a nice night." he Just sighs and then looks at him again. “So you really think spareing those bandits was a good idea?" Apollo just nods looking at her. “Yes actually… And even if they attack us again… I’ll be ready for them to protect you again.“ Apollo looked up seeing a small smile for on her face. “Thank you For your services.” She says clearly on use of thanking anybody. “It’s fine my job after all.” He smiled at her. She just giggles and looks at him. “Do you like being a member of your guild?” She asked out of nowhere. “Of course I do what you ask?” He says with a bit of uncertainty as to why she’s asking these questions. “I only ask because I could use a mage like you more often for protection… Perhaps I can employ you permanently.” She looks away. Apollo just nodded a bit. “Thank you for the offer but my guild means more to me then any amount of money.” He says without even hesitating. She seems taken back. “What you mean surely you have a price.” Apollo shakes his head “there’s just some things money can’t buy I could never put a person them” he smiled thinking about how they accepted him. She stands up “well I’m tired now let’s go to bed” she smiles walking over to the bedding and lying down. Apollo just walks over lying down next to her. She just looks at him “what are you doing?” Apollo shrugs “acting like your husband.” He looks at her. “oh right...night darling” she over dramatizes. “night” he responds closing his eyes by not falling asleep listening for any disturbances as she snuggles up to him falling asleep.

As the dawn came in the sun rose Apollo got up and watched the area. He was happy that no one attacked them in the night. Doing it with you get there in a day’s journey, he put on his Armor of Agies, to make them more prepared for a fight. Just as he did that to more bronze beetles appeared jumping at Brinna. Apollo only being semi-prepared for this clasp his hands together making a Tempest Shield appear above her. As a screech she wakes up unable to move though due to the shield. They fly off area once again. Apollo almost felt offended that the Beatles were ignoring him it’s almost as if... They were trained for this. He them without focusing on anything else point in his energy flare towards the Beatles hitting them both as he cast a spell. He then stood there as the Beatles retreated into the woods. Brinna got up scared looking around. “What the hell just happened?” She questioned acting frantic. “Just some Beatles calm down.” He said knowing there’s more but not wanting her to get more frantic. As she got up and walked towards him she just shook her head. “We should keep going will be safe to get the clover town.” She still said scared a bit of stuttering in her voice. “How do you figure?” He asked tilting his head. “My guards went on ahead to make sure it’s safer why you think I needed a mage to protect me.” She said, got a little. “Fair enough” he stood. Dusting off his suit a little bit. “Right let’s keep- behind you!” She screamed as a thief went to stab him in the back.

Apollo not being able to act in time simply tried to jump out on the way.   He knew there is no way to to dodge this attack so he figured he was just getting away anyway possible is the best thing to doright now is to get soome distance between him and thief.   Just as the knife was about to stab him are shield came out of nowhere and blocked the knife preventing him from getting stabbed him.  He regained his stepping and stood in front of Brinna.  Apollo examined the thief as he stood there mockingly.  What Apollo could notice anything the thief spoke up. “I’m gonna make you regret letting me live…” He growled.  Apollo tilted his head rubbing it. “Weren't their two of you…” He said computer still on guard.   “He was just a loose  end so I got rid of him.”  He left a bit . Apollo didn’t have to look back at Brinna to know she wasn’t doing well in the situation.  “So I guess the saying is true there are no other among thieves”  “the thief just shook his head grinning. “Oh there’s plenty of honor just not on the job. “Apollo just shook his head. “I beat you once and I can beat you again.” He said grinning  “not quite” the thief responded doing a whistle.  As he whistled the bronze beetles jumped from out of the woods about to hurt Brinna.  Apollo quickly spun around clasping his hands in front of ready to cast a shield spell to protect her.

“Mirror Wall” Apollo calls out and the clasps his hands. Just then the shield towers in front of her acting as a wall between the Beatles and her. As the Beatles made contact with the shield they screeched in pain fell to the ground dead. Just then he heard the thief. “Turn your back on me and You’ll regret it!” He says as he lunges to stab Apollo in the back. As the knife makes contact with Apollo’s armor it shatters. “Your shields won’t protect you forever, come fight me!” He yells at Apollo getting ready to srike once again. Apollo dispelling his Mirror Wall he spins the face the thief grinning. “Your overconfidence just lost you the fight. “He said as he claps his hands together. “Tempest Shield!” He says as he makes the vortex appear right under the thief. “Not this again you little-“ before he could finish he gets slammed by the Beatles previous attack. The thief without our word follows to the ground unconscious. Apollo path as he stands over the thief looking down at him. “Never underestimate me just because I use shields…” He says as he straightened his tie. He then opened his pocket watch took time in order to gain his composure then he looks at Brinna. “I think it be best if going now.” He sighs walking to the cart. She nods and follows him and they continue on the journey nearing Clover Town. The bandit unable to move just looks up at him and then passes out unable to chase or do anything at this point.

As the card kept going Apollo looked at Brinna. He sighed a little and put a hand on her shoulder. “Are you okay?” He asked genuinely concerned. She gave a small nod and looked away. And then just grabbed his arm “how do you do it?” She asked looking up at him this time not out of anger or out of spite, she looked genuinely concerned. “How do I do what?” He asked tilting his head. She just sighed a bit and looked up at the sky. “How do you fight what that all the time how do you not get scared in a fight?’ She asked looking back down at him. Apollo shakes his head. There is no easy answer to this question he thought to himself but then he start talking without thinking. “You assume I don’t get scared in fights…. The truth is I’m more scared than you can imagine, every fight I fight could be my last hence wide about my shielding magic to protect me, I don’t like the fight but sometimes quite necessary and if you are stronger than you may lose your life… Or at least that’s what I think” once she actually looks impressed with Apollo and moves a little closer to him. “One last question if you don’t mind…” Apollo shook his head acknowledging that he didn’t mind if she asked. “What drives you to get stronger other than you may died?” She said with almost 6 expectation on her face. I did one get in this question so he decided answer briefly. “A promise to a friend…” He said as he looked down. She seemed dumbstruck and confused Apollo couldn’t blame her though no new the extent of his past. The rest of the cart rides was silent as Apollo kept watch.

As he got closer to Clover Town Apollo could tell that the Duchess Brinna was thinking about what he just said. Apollo and blamer he left the augmented mystery about what he said. He gave a sigh a looked to her. "You want to know more don’t you." “She is a small nod and looks at him. About this business forward. “I had a friend once.. It was her dream to join Fairy Tail so we decided to do together… But then…” Apollo pause unsure if he could keep telling the story he hated this part after all. He gulped knowingly leaving this. "But then one day she got murdered by a member from a dark guild which one I am unsure of…. But I’ll find out eventually…” He said trying to hold back his tears. Before he could say more Brinna spoke up. “So is that why you fight so hard?” She tilts her head. Apollo nods “she is one of the reason the fight hard though there are many more I’d rather not talk about them if that’s all right.” Apollo looked away hiding a tear or two. Brinna just hugged his arm “sure darling” she said keeping of the act. Apollo chuckled lightly for second. “Thanks dear.” He said looking at her with us sheepish smile. After a moment he broke the silence looking ahead. "We should be a Clover Town soon.” He said that the brief sigh. “Yeah okay... I’m glad I chose you to protect me…” She said closing her eyes. Apollo took a moment to absorb what she just said inside not say anything and give a small smile.

As they reached the border of Clover Town he looked at her. “Here we are” He nodded. Just smile without award. And that’s a Clover Town and trotted through the city. And he looked around he got his house on his shoulder from Brinna. “My winter home is on the west side of town” she said as she pointed. Apollo nodded at the direction and continued on. As they got to her what your whole conversation all around it. As I see the gaurds clear away through. Then as the cart stops Apollo hops out with the Duchess. One of the guards the guards approaches her. “Duchess are you all right?” He asks in a formal matter. “I’m fine you-“ she pauses and looks back at Apollo then breathe a little and looks back at the guard. “Yes thank you” she said “please pay Apollo for services.” Apollo smiled as she took the conversation to heart. "Y-yes Duchess” he says confused. Then Brinna walks back to Apollo and smiles at him “thanks again... You’re all right for mage." “Thanks, I guess” he rubs his head confused. He then kisses his cheek and smiles running into the house. “Come visit sometime!” She calls back. He holds up ahead in the wave goodbye not sure what to do in the situation. After he collects his money form the guards. He then heads for the train getting ready to head back to Magnolia. As he gets on the train he looks back at Clover Town and then smiles and heads home.
