Like an elephant confronted with a jar of peanuts, Flick aspires to be....of service..to others. Or something like that.
Flick has a short fuse, though he doesn't look it. This is important, because he is liable to freeze people out without giving them the slightest indication that he is actually irritated at them. Despite this, he loves being needed, and is completely willing to act as the intermediate between two warring parties if necessary. Flick takes "introvert" to the extreme, and has an "every man for himself" policy when it comes to parties or frivolous social gatherings. Though this and his tendency to give people the cold shoulder makes him sound like he has the personality of a glacier, he is weak to kind words and sincere affection, which usually is enough to make him wobbly in the knees. Unable to handle what he dubs as "gooey" emotions, Flick has a rather embarrassing tendency to transform his entire head into something resembling a cherry, but redder. Flick eschews romantic relations of all sorts, having developed a slightly uppity attitude towards pursuits of pleasure in favor of formal service to or for others. He is selfless to the extreme, though his mode of kindness is of the backhanded type. And not always figuratively.
Trains constantly chug around Flick's mental landscape, and the urge to travel in both his blood and feet. Slow at times and lightning quick at others, he navigates life's crossroads with steady deliberation, never one to stray off the tracks. Rules were made to be followed, and Flick does so without exception. Chaos, too, has its place, and Flick traverses its rugged landscape via his own turbulent emotions that constantly threaten to stray out of hand- which for him, could mean anything. Memory lane, too this conductor, is a road best traveled once. Flick grasps at what promise lies in the future, glimpsing the eve-elusive light at the end of the tunnel. Death remains its own fascinations mystery to him, and he is secretly grateful that there is one mystery, at least, he will never unravel. Neither optimistic or gloomy, he rolls along somewhere in between.
Flick prefers to take the supporting role in battle, utilizing his magic to shape the battlefield to the detriment of his opponents. Though able to hold his own on a one-on-one brawl, his strong defensive power is overshadowed by weak offensive prowess, making it difficult for him to land the decisive blow. He will certainly take on the leading role in a party, and is skilled at negotiations should the need for them arise. He loves to be needed, and would be the first to assume the blame for any mishap on his party's part. As a follower, Flick makes good use of his support skills in order to keep his allies from harm's way. He prefers to avoid attacks than take them, though he is not completely reliant on his summons. Flick uses long range weapons to keep himself out of the melee, which makes him especially weak at close combat.

-Needy People: The clinger they are, the less likely they are to leave him.
-Settling Disputes: It is one of the few ways that Flick allows himself to be openly "kind" to another.
-Trains: Flick's an escapist at heart, and what a better way to flee that gaudy party than by smashing a train through the veranda?

- Smudgy-wushy Feelings: They give Flick indigestion.
- Romantic Relationships: Again: idegestion. And sometimes the hives.
-Ungentlemanly Behavior: This applies to both genders. Not only is Flick befuddled by people who don't follow the stricter rules of social etiquette, but he can't stand outright rudeness. Because that's just...rude.

-Service: To be of service to others gives Flick a high unmatched by anything other than riding trains- not that he'd ever admit to being anything other than dead serious, of course.
-Travel: The world, and all worlds, remain to be seen. By train.
