Description: A combination of a corrupted fire magic and experimentation with unnatural elements created this specific magic type. Corrupted Ash magic allows the user to create and mold magic attacks with a purplish ash, that can poison, explode, or burn if used in certain ways.
Maya's utilization of this magic is for distractions or attempts at one strike finishes. Usually using the ash to conceal her movements to blind her opponent, or using an exploding trap to knock them back. She doesn't have any defensive techniques or buffs, which makes this magic useless for protection but great at escapes and avoidance.
Strengths:
•Escape/Distraction Artist - The user of this magic can distract enemies easily, by blinding them or creating a shroud to cover movement.
•Boom - Concentrated enough, this magic can explode a general area to harm enemies. While usually not powerful, the explosions can make great delaying techniques.
•Acidic - The ash can burn someone if left in contact with them for too long, allowing for damage over time as well.
Weaknesses:
•Guess Who's Dinner - Venom slayers can eat the ash and be powered by it, making most spells useless against them.
•Terrible Defense - This magic has no defensive capabilities, giving the user no other options but to evade all attacks.
•Friendly Fire - Allies can be harmed as well as enemies with any attack.
•Wilting Away - Water magic can dissolve the ashes, making any distraction or attack useless.
Lineage: Zeus' Decedent:
Description: There once was a powerful mage who called himself Zeus the Mighty. During a magical lightning storm, he got struck by lightning twice at the same time. He miraculously survived and gained the ability to redirect electricity and magical current, and passively gained the ability to resist it. His descendants inherited this power but it grew weaker with every generation, so only certain spells could be redirected.
Ability: Can redirect any lightning based spell once. Also grants the user a 10% passive resistance to any and all lightning-based spells, regardless of rank.
Usage: Can only be used three per thread with a cool-down of 4 posts between uses. Can only redirect one spell that is A Rank or lower. It cannot redirect an S Rank spell or higher.
