The Man with the Bird on his head make salad(Wizard's Grace)

Job Details:

A lone man walked upon the old dust roads leading to what seemed to be a very quaint village where he hoped to find a peaceful rest and perhaps an area where he can gather for himself even more knowledge about Flore and Earthland. However, such a simple desire and goal was going to be hitting a solid wall soon as another issue for the young monk will be rearing its ugly head once more into him. The problem this time around was nothing more than dark magics wrecking havoc upon the town's crops. Asked by various people with the Major himself being one, Minh was soon sent towards the wide acres of crops where he was told that something was very off with them.

This odd feeling was something that he was familiar with, almost too familiar as if something of this nature had played a large part in his life long ago during a time when he was very young, unable to actually remember really clear. Whatever it was, Minh was no fan of the lurking ominous feeling and wanted to be done with this investigation already. It was then that he came across what seemed to be an opening in the center of the crop fields.

Upon coming to the clearing, he immediately felt something off about the entire area around him even more so than before as if something had come alive. Unlike before, the ominous taint on the crops were nothing more than static signatures to him, but now, it was more dynamic, vibrant. Of course in a situation like this one, such a revelation meant that something was coming to him at this moment, and it was not going to be something too welcoming as he would assume from the surrounding area. As if right on cue, a gang of comical looking tomato demons make their way out of the crops, making a standing line in front of Minh.

"Hey, we don't like your kind around 'ere, filthy, dumbfaced, hog-tasting, veggie violating...human." Said in a very southern accent, seemingly being very bad at discriminating as well. Not to mention they all looked almost like parodies of something, wearing straw hats stolen from the farmers while holding the straw-like plants in their mouths.

"I take it you are demons, and are the cause of what is happening to these people's crops?" Minh replied with a very calm demeanor.

"And if we are, fleshbag, what will you do?" The tomato demon retorted while joined by the jeering of its cohorts.

"I will sadly have to root you out then my dear friend." Minh responded before noticing the sudden sound of thumping feet, finding himself surrounded now by....corn...demons.

"Well, ~darling~ we can't have that now...even if these red fatties are not pleasing to the eye, we still would take their company over yours, humie~ Now, you better say your prayers if you think you can come here and 'root' us out." One of the yellow cobs spoke with a very..well...fabulous voice.

"YEAH! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, BOY!!!" Now a pack of angry, gruff broccoli have came forth from the crops to meet Minh, who at this point was wondering just what to do.

"I think I am a very confused man who thinks the next course of action should be making salad." Of course, upon saying this, the young man watches as all 40 of these demons look upon him with mouth agape at what he had just said, but before a word was uttered, a screamed uttered from a tomato that was holding its leafy palms where his left eye was before a small figure bursts through them. Drenched in veggie blood was Cheepie who darted out of the tomato's bleeding eye before diving into another. Thus began the conflict as the veggies end in an uproar as the tomatoes are having their eyes gouged out by a chubby sparrow. The corn, on the other hand, were making a hasty regrouping off to the side to avoid the mess while the broccoli charged off at Minh in anger.

Minh was quick to take note of the approaching broccoli and clap his hands together to conjure his earthen armaments before getting into a ready position to take on the demons that charged his way in a relentless fury. Yet, what was unknown to them was the very fact that this was an opponent they did not truly understand. With a quickly flurry of blows to the face of the first foe that came his way, Minh had begun his attack upon the vegetable foes. The first one flew back from the force of the impact, landing right up against another one. Jumping into the air, Minh proceeded to deliver a quick, devastating spin kick to an unfortunate plant demon that charged him head on as expected from them. He went off immediately after the dash into more of the broccoli warriors, dodging and parrying their blows while returning each one with many more of his own. Though they were strong, they were no match for Minh's strength as he proceeded to beat away the demons with his flurry of strikes. He was even capable of meeting their ultimate headbutting technique with his own, dazing the demon. Meanwhile, a certain bird was dealing some horrendous damage.

Cheepie was nothing short of a menace to the tomatoes as he effectively drove in and out of each of the demon's eyes with quick precision while dodge gripping leaves and corn bullets coming from the mass of corny demons. They were quite relentless in their firing of said bullets as many found themselves lodged into the tomatoes rather than the bird itself who seemed to cheep happily to itself. The tune of which it did so. 



After just a few moments, the reddish vegetable fiends were torn to shreds by the corn, reverting to normal ones that laid perfectly fine upon the ground as the brazened sparrow drove into the cornfield of demons. Swooping to and fro with many pecks, Cheepie fought them to a standstill with little trouble as they struggled to deal with such a powerful opponent who seemed to be untouchable.

"RUUUUUN, RUN AWAY!!!!" Outcries echoed out amongst them as they went into a panic, screaming for their lives from the feathery menace that dove upon them with an even more fiercer aggression. Soon, Minh saw out of the corner of his eye, a retreating force of corn calling out to the broccoli who also took to a retreating position as they were battered back by Minh. It seemed that there was nothing that could hold them back.

Minh held his own against the waning broccoli horde, smashing through the burly greens with his superior strength despite his own spell coming to a close very soon. He knew that each strike now was very important in taking down these more dangerous foes out of the other ones who were more comical and nuisances than these. Minh picked up two of the beasts before throwing them into the crowd, knocking down numerous foes including the retreating corn who were still under the assault of Cheepie who pressed his own attack on the veggie monsters. In desperation, the remaining three broccoli launched their devastating headbutts at the earth mage. Yet, as strong as he was, he was no fool to be taking so much head one, and in response, Minh let out a powerful earthquake shout in the form of a frontal cone which sent them back onto the ground. He then jumped forth into the mass of corn landing a barrage of punches and kicks until his very armaments broke from the onslaught of strikes only to be send at one unfortunate demon in the form of shrapnel. Stomping his foot once in a quick gestured brought forth three pillars of earth that drilled themselves right through two corn demons who fell back onto the ground from the attack.

Of course, seeing the human pushing his way through their forces caused the corn demons to panic which broke their composure which in turn caused them to unleash their seedy attack once more. Minh and Cheepie knew what to do in order to avoid the trouble. Minh dropped into the earth without another second passed while Cheepie flew up into the air in the next moment, avoiding the seeds. The earth mage bursts from the ground behind them to unleash an earthquake shout, sending the whole group of them flying to the dirt ground. Cheepie follows this up by diving down upon them pecking with fierceness. It was clear that this pack of demons was reaching the end of their rope since their numbers have dwindled to a mere fraction. Then as if on cue, the sounds of more monsters roaring can be heard from the cornfields around him. Apparently, this ambush...was not over just yet, and whatever was coming seemed to be closing in very quickly. Cheepie flapped about alarmingly too, his natural instincts going rampant from the dangers homing in. With a few more heavy strikes on the demons currently brawling with them, Minh had put down the remainder of the creatures.
