Elyxes Exam Empty Re: Elyxes Exam

Post by King Elyx 10th July 2015, 7:48 am

Elyx! Elyx! Look at what came in the mail today! Ignite exclaimed as she slammed herself through the door once again, and once again, she was able to get Elyx up from the bed with panic. His body rolled off of the edge of the bed, slapping the ground with a huge ugly thud at the end, this was not going to be a good day... He coud already tell. Well, she did say that she brought a letter, so he was willing to hear her out. How long he could do that was another question, and he was about to get his answer very soon. The boy was in just his boxers, after all, he was sleeping. This embarrassed him since he normally was able to keep himself under his blanket when Ignite pulled off this sort of stunt, but now that she just suddenly slammed herself in with the news of a letter, he just suddenly lost all control of where he was going as he just sort of... Fell over. It did not take much to make his mornings bad, and even though he had some tolerance for Ignite coming in and acting like an idiot, the fact that she was able to have his body hit the ground from his bed, to roll so far off from the bed, that was just insane. Elyx did not want to listen anymore, his mood changing already, however, he knew that if he said to her that he did not want to hear it, she would amplify the volume even higher up just to make sure that he got the message. So instead of being that man, he decided to just let this current situation go and let Ignite read whatever this letter thing was supposed to be. Fine... Fine! Ignite! Read the damn letter already! I want to sleep! The boy exclaimed as he zipped back into his bed, the blanket covering himself already.

Ignite cleared her throat real quickly, which must have been very often for her since she used her voice so often, so for her to not clear it, she might end up choking in a matter of seconds with how much she talked and how loud she yelled, even in the morning. Her eyes locked onto the paper in her hands, then she pointed her toes onto their tips and leaned back, then she repeated this process in a derp sort of fashion as she began to read. This letter is from Kakuma, Mr. Grumpypants. I'll translate it for you since she does not seem to know how to spell... Or use correct grammar... Okay, this seriously looks like something that would- Just read the letter damn it! Elyx cut off the She Phoenix, causing her to jump since she was not used to dealing the grumpy boy. Falling out of bed would make anyone grumpy when they thought that there was no reason for it. In all honesty, he had hoped thta the She Phoenix would have a reason, he would hate to be angry at the world for a day, and then everyone around him would see a much darker side of him, no matter who they are. A morning was important to Elyx, it gave him the impression of how the day would go. For example, if he had a great morning, a nice breakfast, well clothed, etc, he woud believe that the day was going to be great. But if he woke up with a yelling She Phoenix in the morning, fall out of the bed while half closed, the boy would probably believe the day to be just that way. What is worse about this plan was how he acted according to how he believed the day was going to be. Basically, Happy Morning is a Happy Elyx. Bad Morning is a disturbed and cold Elyx. Those bad days are rare, but this one seems to actually have a place if it keeps coming at him at this rate.

Finally, the She Phoenix began to read the piece of paper after all of that time with her stalling. When I translate the Message... The best I am able to tell you is... The letter reads, "Dear Elyx Reiaki. Yeah, hi, this is Kakuma. Listen, I need you to go over to Silver Moon Island to get me a Myosotis Flower. If you have any trouble with what the is, go to the library first. Er, I do not know where the Myosotis is there, you cn ask Raul that when you get there. Anyways, once you have learned about the Myosotis, you should probably go over to the Island prepared, there are monsters that do not want to give you just a hug. The reason why I ask of you is because you seem to being well with the Jobs that you have been handling. Not because of the quality work you do, I never looked over that anyways, but the fact that you come back from jobs and bounties with rewads on you. When one of us rises, we all prosper in the end as a guild. The monsters have been known to be dangerous to average mages. Good thing I do not reward just the average mages, so I know you are able to handle this. Consider this a job, or a bounty... On a flower if you prefer. Regardless, you are going to have to get the Myosotis and bring it to me. Remember, there are extra rewards for those who are willing to go above and beyond for the best of the guild. I promise that you will be rewarded heavily after this... Gah, I hate letters so much. All right, Elyx, I'm counting on you to get the Myosotis. All right? Right, Bye bye. Kakuma Blackflower. Ignite read as she then leaned her arm against the wall. When she looked up, Elyx could be seen sitting up with his light brown eyes quickly shot up and locked onto the piece of paper that the She Phoenix had in her hands. Such a beautiful piece of paper it seemed to be, even though it seemed a bit torn and had a few marks on it. Never in his life has he seen a paper so amazing. He liked how Kakuma tried to hide what the reward was, but he was the one who sent the application, so he knew exactly what this reward was going to be, and he had to say, it was going to be amazing if he was able to get the Myosotis.

The Myosotis is a rare dark flower that tends to oppose to the Magnolia, Elyxs favorite flower, or used to be that is. Elyx had discovered the Myosotis recently, and it was probably the only thing that he would like about dark guilds, how they have many of these rare dark flowers where they are at. It sort of destroys the fact that they are rare, but that was not the big issue. The good thing about this was that he did not need to go to the library for this sort of thing. Instead, he decided to refrain from this sort of thing and head towards the Silver Moon Island. It was quite a good distance away from the both of them anyways, if he and Ignite were going to have any hope of getting there on time and ready for duty, the boy was going to have to get ready right now. There is something that he once heard, no one wants the boss mad at them. The soon that Elyx can get the Myosotis, the better. That was when he remembered something about the letter, though it said that he just needed to get it, it also said that those who do more than expected get rewarded much more than they would even expect of themselves to get. The one thing that Elyx loved to do was work, and to get bigger rewards for it, much better as well. The boy wanted to shout into the air happily and rip the paper up as if it were confetti, he had a plan already on how he would come up with a plan to fight off monsters. Ignite was with him, and soon, his new spells as well. Elyx wanted to learn one that Nimpha promised him that he would learn if he listened to the piece of paper that she gave to him. This next spell was Wind Make Awakened: Reformed. And it seems that elements of almost any other kind are screwed when they meet this spell. Whenever an element other than wind or earth comes within 5 meter of the boy, it would instantly shatter and become wind. It can not be used for his own spells, but it completely shuts down spells of other kinds. Poison, water, fire, etc. This was going to be perfect to try out on many mages, since Wind magic was designed to be one of the masters of the world, if used properly. To do that however, he would need to become an A rank mage... That is where this job came in.

Elyx had to admit that he could not remember the last time he was on the Silver Moon Island. For one thing it was not something that one would imagine to be a bright and cheery sort of place. Not for children, but not in an adult sort of way. It was sort of like a danger Zone, wizards only, experienced ones while this sign is up here anyways, have a nice day. At this point, he knew that he was going to be the only one in a long time who even entered this island, Kakuma being the exception to this since she was just way stronger than Elyx naturally. If she were to go all out on Elyx, she would completely smash him to pieces and throw him into the trash. He knew his limits, and he knew way better than to underestimate his guild master. The boy imagined himself in combat with her, then he saw himself striking her, pain coming out from her body, then that body dissolved to pieces as it was just an illusion. The final image was him at the emergency room, resting there with broken arms and legs all together. Kakuma and Ignite would just be watching, Ignite probably there with an "I told you about this, you should not have done it. She kicked your ass." And Kakuma would be there with a smirk on her face, probably saying something like, "I win, but nice try though." Not even a good fight or anything? Well, he knew that his power was unlike Kakuma's, why should he even think of himself fighting her in the first place, that should not be a good idea. The boy shook his head as he began to clear his thoughts of getting into a fight with his guild master, it was just suicide.

The boy stood up from where he was with a smile on his face before he snatched the paper fomr Ignite, causing a shocked reaction from her, which was just the plan. He then pushed her while her guard was caught off, sending her out of his room. Finally, he slammed the door and locked it so that he could look at the paper. Elyx was surprised that Ignite was able to read this sort of handwriting and spelling, she was able to make Kakuma sound so fluent when the She Phoenix read it, but now that it was presented in front of his eyes, he wondered if this was a child who actually wrote it in her place. Some sort of child secretary that worked for her nowadays? That would be interesting, but not effective in the guild, so he decided to throw that thought away. Still though, why would Kakuma write like this? This all of a sudden had an answer,  she was born and raised a wolf, and a dark wizard for that matter, basic things like this was not really the main focus as a child when she was just a wolf. But as she evolved to be the way she currently was, it must be taking time to adapt. Heck, up to this day she had a hard time trying to write a simple letter, it was clea that she was still learning. Maybe he could help her if needed, but then again, at the rate he was going, he barely had enough time to eat and get himself ready for the day.

Once he had read the letter, he placed it on his stand so that he could get ready for this job. He tipped over to the clothing to see what he would find inside of it. The first thing for the boy to do is grab a pair of pants. He got a long, acid blue pair of jeans, nothing too skinny since he knew that he would need the movement, and tight pants cut off his movement in an instant. The jeans were also placed and wrapped with a nice white belt as well to keep his pants from falling off once it begins to hold things. The first thing that Elyx placed on both sides of his pants were his two sword sheathes, in which he holds some rather light weapons, but any weapon alone can make the pants fall. These two weapons were Knight Iris and Mystic Knight Iris. Once he clicked the sheathes in place, he looked over to his armory and clicked open the lock in order to pull out both blades. There was a mirror right there, and the boy could not help but laugh since he looked like a survivor of the end of the world, ready for combat with his swords, but he did not even have a shirt on due to the extreme weather and the lack of movement that his jacket would provide. A few battle scars would be nice to help enhance the look, but other than that, the boy would have to just deal with it as it is. The next thing Elyx added onto his set of moves was the shirt itself, a white T-Shirt with no special features, this was to keep his body cool since he was planning to wear a jacket. It was not cold or anything, at least, it was not a cold day in Black Rose once the boy got used to the weather system or anything, but the boy liked to keep his jacket since that is where the items are located. To somewhat help his case, the jacket was white as well, so it was not going to burn him to a crisp like some other wares might be able to do. Once he zipped the jacket up to the right amount, about halfway up his chest, he looked at how his hair was. An utter mess as usual when someone were to get up in the morning. Well, it was not like there were many clients to see today. Kakuma did not like to think of herself as a higher power over anyone, she tried to make things as democratic as possible, giving everyone a fair choice and answer for the guild. That is one of the reasons why the guild is neutral. The other though... In which Elyx can be associated with dark wizards and possibly get blamed for their actions, that was not exactly the most lighthearted of thoughts. The final piece of equipment he placed onto his body was Leviathan Iris Armor, the armor designed to somewhat limit his movement for an exchange of amazing amounts of defensives and an okay amount of healing power. Cassie could help him with the defenses, but the fact that he had this option as well was amazing. This was how Elyx saw it. This was how he saw it. With Cassies Overshield ability, she was able to block almost double of what Leviathan Iris can. Now, with Leviathan Iris, that would be about five hits before actually getting to Elyx. There was some sort of other defense that he remembered that he could use to set it up to around 7 or 8, but that did not seem to be coming to his mind right now. He shrugged it off and ignored it as he stood back up and looked in the mirror again as he looked at his golden armor, then nodded to himself in the mirror with approval. He was now set off to get the Myosotis.

Once he knew that he was set for the job, he opened his door once again, only to get ambushed by the She Devil, or Phoenix rather, Ignite. She pounced onto him from up front, sort of like revenge for pushing her out and taking her letter. Well, he needed the time to actually get himself dressed without her being in his room, this was only normal for her, why would she make such a fuss over it now anyways. Regardless of how amazing she seemed at this sort of combat, he had Leviathan Iris armor, so he barely stumbled back before she jumped, in which he rolled back to avoid the kick to the stomach. That was mean! Never do that again! Ignite exclaimed as her body shot up with much fire. The boy could not help but let out a sweat drop of embarrassment, Ignite normally did this sort of thing, and Elyx normally closed the door on her anyways, so why would she react in such a way now. He had to admit though, her speed and power was increasing with heavy amounts of both no longer as weak as they used to be. Then again, with his awareness and speed increasing as well, the boy knew that there was no way for Ignite to actually hit him. Then again, with her on his side, there was going to be a lot of things that people feared once she began to throw down with them. She was destructive and her element matched her attitude, fiery yet fun loving at the same time. Not to mention how graceful she was whenever she would pull off a grand move, like a flying Phoenix, majestic and powerful as it rises from the ashes and continues to fight in battle. There is a way to knock out a Phoenix, but there is no way to actually kill one, unless you can eliminate the ashes in some sort of fast way before a few minutes, that Immortal Phoenix was going to come back from the dead. Ignite may not be able to revive just yet, but she was going to soon, he knew how much she could do in combat after all.

Once their little spat carried out, the both of them went down the stairs so that they could have some breakfast. Ignite learned how to make waffles recently, so that is when she decided to put that to practice instead of having Elyx make an omelet or buy her an outdoor meal. The waffles did not even need to use the over or some sort of electronic toaster, Ignite just simply had to use her fire and she would almost burn the waffle instantly. She seemed to know what she is doing. The cooking classes seemed to be doing something for her, if she were able to make the waffles here, maybe he would continue to pay for the premium cooking classes. He had the jewels, but he wanted to make sure that Ignite worked hard to stay in those classes, so he did not want to ruin anything by simply taking away the classes until he knew that she could not care less. But so far, she has shown that she is taking the classes seriously. It all came down to the taste and the syrup given to him as well. The syrup was a gimme, there was no way to actually calculate syrup or anything, she never learned how to make it. this was just a taste test after all, she was not trying to poison him or anything, so he slowly cut up a piece of the untouched waffle and slowly placed it into his mouth, as if it were a trap, or something would go off if he did not eat it correctly, if that were possibly in any sort of way that is. There was always a way, that was just how Fiore was, especially if one were to deal with Dark wizards, in which they are not bound to rules, in which they have access to many ways. The boy then began to chew, and after a few seconds, he actually dared himself to swallow the item, then his body began to shrink into a chibi like figure. His stomach had a lump as if he were fat already. More! More! More! More! More! Elyx exclaimed as he then jumped up onto the table and snatched her waffle away from her and ran off with it, taking both hers and his. Ignite began to chase him all over the piano house, balls of fire being shot from her hands as the boy jumped, ducked, and stepped to the side to constantly avoid them from even grazing him. Eventually, he ate the both of them while running, then the both of them fell at the same time from their run, there was no reason to run anymore, the waffles were eaten. It seemed breakfast was successful... For one of them at least. The other one had quite the choice of words for him, so Elyx knew better than to stick around for too long.

Violinist of Black Rose he was, it took a while to climb up and finish the amount of jobs that Ignite forced upon him. She was the reason why he was so low on energy nowadays. Recently however, she had not been forcing him on any jobs since he was currently waiting for the next step to be taken, once his application letter was accepted, he was able to advance even further and make more jewels. This would be good… If Ignite would aim for the ones she can guarantee that he could do, as opposed to the usual in which she just simply aims to pick out the highest amounts of jewels.

They both were exploring the different places of Black Rose, it was fun for the She Phoenix. Ignite loved it while they were both in Oak Town, in which the Violinist got slammed with a Jelly Pastry and fell over. To this very day, Elyx made sure that no one knew his face was bleeding, and he used the fact that the jam that hit him was the exact same sort of red that blood looked like, and surprisingly enough, it worked. Now that the She-Phoenix saw the Violinist get whacked, she was hoping that the same thing would happen, or something similar. Anything but water though… Elyx had a Phobia of water, even though his magic was designed to be the master of that element. On the plus side however, he had Internal Struggle wrapped loosely around his next, almost being influenced by the small amount of wind.

His items were all in check before they headed out, Leviathan Iris Armor for protection and healing. The weird yet cute little looking doll that Elyx could use to summon Cassie onto his side. There was Internal Struggle, the item that was able to cast away his fears for a brief moment, but some brief moments of it’s use have saved his life, so he knew better than to doubt it. There was Rose Petal Orbs for light illusion magic, either that, or for whenever he felt lonely and needed a clone to talk to… Even though that clone had his personality and everything. There was Lerale Prototype: Excel Violinin… It served nothing more really that looking stupid, yet awesome at the same time, being that Awesome and stupid equals weird. His swords for dual-wielding arts, Knight Iris and Mystic Knight Iris, are both very much capable without each other, but as a team and with an owner who knows how to use them, they were designed to bring chaos. And Finally, Devastation Treasure, the Infinity Gazer placed on his right eye, which made him look no different than some humanoid… Creature.

The both of them finally found the Silver Moon Island after they went to the less populated areas to search for their targets, the Myosotis. The boy was not going to bring only one with him though, he planned to bring s many as he could find. In doing so, he should be able to find at least one. This was the plan, if Elyx aimed to keep his hopes up and effort himself in finding more than one some sort of rare thing. In doing this the boy was able to find at least one since his searching would increase and eventually, the Myosotis would be found. If he found way more than he expected, then that would just make this even better. He just wanted the Myosotis though, even if it were just one, if he was able to get a Myosotis and bring it to Kakuma, this would be a success. Now that Elyx began to think about it, why would Kakuma wanted a flower? A new guild symbol? No, that was clearly not it. Does she plan to put it in her hair? Nope, she was not the type to want to look elegant, she is probably the last person in the guild to even become a princess, it was just not in her nature. But seriously, why would she even need a flower? And if she wanted it that badly, why did she send out Elyx and Ignite to do this rather than just simply sending out one of the clearly more experienced members of the guild... Which exist right? Hopefully? Well why not send the Dryads, they are experienced with locating and tracking down, especially as groups. Then again, in a guild of Bounty Hunters, you are expected to know about locating targets and obtaining them. Elyx only went on the jobs thta required an arrest of someone, never in his life did he take away the life of another human being. Life was too precious to lose, and to take some elses so easily, to take away their story and shatter it to pieces, to leave their past untold and their villains win, that was not something that he could bring himself to do. No matter how much Elyx had been tortured and humiliated whenever he fought against someone who he had to obtain the bounty from, he never even played their games and took them out, but not end their lives.

The both of them needed to get to the Island first, and to do that... They needed a ship. That was nice to know, at least the boy had the ability to bring out a ship. There was just one sort of problem. Elyx hated the water, so trying to force him to go on the boat was not easy for Ignite to do. The boy was not the o e who even wanted the ship in the first place, he never planned to go on the water, and still to this day, he was willing to let the ship ruse since he had no plans to get on a ship. The boy did not the water a single bit. Water, one thing he can't stand is water. Swimming always made him want to faint, due to a terrible childhood memory of him almost drowning when a few twigs underwater gripped his foot, causing him to almost drown. He did faint though due to lack of oxygen, and he was brought back to life through C.P.R from a nurse in his Tribe. Well, her apprentice, who was about 2 years older than him. This hurt him and his innocence a little bit, learning how he recovered from there. What was the big deal with all of this? He was 7 years old. And now here he was, and Ignite could not care less about his fear of water, she wants to get on the water, Elyx wants to stay off. It was clear who was going to win though, there was no other way to get to the Island anyways. The boy needed to get on the water. As much as Elyx tried to hold onto the metal bar that was supposed to be a safety bar so that children do not fall in the water, Ignite was able to pull him off and drag him onto the boat, which soon departed from land once it went. The boy was so desperate to get away from the water that he almost jumped from the ship back onto the docks, only for Ignite to pin him down from behind. Elyx was fighting with Ignite in a ship hold battle to not get pinned down. She was trying to make sure that he stopped his vain attempts of getting off of the ship, but he refused and struggled against the She Phoenix in order to continue on his way to the door and escape towards their job location. He was faster than her and can think faster, but her strength was too much for him and eventually, he ended up with his chest hitting the ground, his left hand on his side while his right hand is bent behind his back, Ignite holding that arm in place so that he had no way of escaping. She placed her knee on his back and held him down firmly, but not painfully like she would do to other people. There was no way of getting out from this hold, he could try to trick her, but she can run as fast as he can now since she enhanced her speed to match his. Damn it Ignite! GET OFF! Elyx exclaimed as he could only bob his head up and down, moving vainly was not even an option anymore unless he wanted to get wood splinters on his face. He had to give up.

Ignite pleaded, trying to get the boy out of his bed. The one thing about this boat was that there just so happened to be a shop, two bedrooms, a crows nest, and a second floor. In the bedrooms were beds, one per room. The boy was trying to go to sleep, the ride on the water made him want to puke. But instead, he was trying to sleep the whole ride. The smallest things however could wake him up, he was scared about something like a leak going on. If that happened, he would use all of his wind magic to break the ocean if he needed to. With Storm Pillars and Stealth Claws it would be possible. But the only problem so far was how Ignite was trying to get him to get over his fear without Inner struggle. Inner Struggle remained on his neck, even while he slept, he would rather choke than be out on the water. The time he would use Internal struggle was when he was facing off against a water mage, or anything that was able to attack him with water. They would think that they beat the wind mage, all of a sudden, they find out that wind is waters worst nightmare. But in the meantime, this room was the safest place for him to be in since it was a long cry from being out in the water. The She Phoenix was not going to give in when it came to trying to get him out of the bed he was in. She tugged violently, almost ready to take the whole bed with her, which would probably not be a happy ending if she did that.

Suddenly, a crash could be heard in the distance, causing the boy to wake up from his attempted sleep and the both of them slammed the door open once they realized that something got hit. Elyx looked up and saw the crow, then he looked at the island, there was a shadow over there, it did not look like anything he wanted to get hit by. Another item shot toward the ship with the direction coming from the shadow, now it was clear tht whatever that shadow was, was an attacker. The boy climbed up the ropes as high as he could, avoiding any contact with the water. There was a Sniper located at the top of the ship in which he could use to take out the enemy. The item that struck actually flew by Elyx, missing the ship and the boy. However with the sudden attack, the boy stuttered as he almost got knocked onto the water. He was so shocked that he let go of one hand that was on a rope, leaving him to roll to the side and hit his back against the ship. Once he regained a little composure, eh climbed again before a third item can be shot his way. They flew fast, whatever they were, he was not able to confirm whatever it was being sent their way. The attacker had much power since the distance was great.. So great that Elyx was unable to use his magic since it was not strong enough yet to go so far. The boy continued to climb the rope until he got onto a small platform, in which there was a ladder for him to climb. His head tilted upwards to see where the ladder would lead him to, and sure enough, he was able to locate the crows nest. The boy began to climb, hearing a sound from where the shadow was. It fired another item towards the ship, but he had no time to defend the ship now, it was going to go down if he could not take out whatever was attacking them. The ship rocked once again, Elyx almost losing his grip of the wooden ladder as he felt the ship tilt. This was his nightmare coming true, if the both of them were to sink now, his fear of water would become a reality, and his life would simply be over. It was not a good idea to fall off now, he could still take out this enemy if he could get to the top of the ladder. That was easier said than done, but it was not impossible for the boy to do. The boy looked upwards and saw that he had made it. He opened the hatch and smiled as he climbed up onto the nest. The boy saw the rifle on the ground, then quickly clicked the gun so that it would load. The boy then pointed the sniper at the shadow and looked at the scope. The shot was aimed for the head, and soon, the boy fired. Instead of the head, he got the left side of the shadows chest, right where the heart was located. The enemys shadows suddenly got hit and the boy was left to assume that it was dead. The boy looked downwards, only for the water to be in sight, in which he was forced to stumble and soon... He fell down off of the ship, causing him to hit it with a thud and knock out his body.

His dreams though... They were of Shadelle again. To become something amazing in this guild, he had to forget, but that was not something he was able to bring himself to do. He remembered himself as a child of Shadelle once again... This time, it was about an old teacher and how he met Adrelissa. She was the reason why he refused to forget Shadelle after all. When he was nine years old, he took a training course in school, one that not only taught him what we call current education, but how to fight using Lerale instruments. When he was training, his teacher, Niko, noticed that Elyx was using a training Violin, and was rather amazed with how he could maintain such high scores with a Lerale instrument that limited the boy so much. Niko promised Elyx to buy him a proper Violin, one that Elyx got to choose. The boy received a new Violin, one that is normal sized and gave Elyx a lot more creative freedom. It was also where he learned his first true magic spell, Wind Lerale Stream of Quintus. A few months into the class, he ended up liking someone in it, her name being Adrelissa Sosayaki. She was a bright student, both in personality and mentality. She was very happy with the life she had and what it gave her, and no matter what, she would smile about anything, even if it wasn't exactly in her favor. Her grades were a grade level below Elyx's which is bright since that is one grade level above the average ten year old at that time. She played the flute, and used Spark Lerale magic. It took a few months, but at the age of ten, he finally spoke up to her. Understanding she was, and soon the two became friends after talking for a few days. He never actually knew he liked her, he was ten years old after all. Everyday, he would invite her to go to the chocolate shop,  in which the shop owner would give them both free samples of chocolate, then they both end up fighting each other in training, Adrelissa normally the one winning, but she would always help him and grin down at him, and they both end up splitting up to go home.

This was a rough dream for him, and in the real world, he shed a tear, even though he was sleeping. It was not expected to be possible that one could cry while they were asleep, but that was how much he missed Adrelissa, anything to take back to moment in which she was killed in front of his eyes, anything to have her become a member of Black Rose, become a Rising Star like he was, anything at all with her would make him happy again. But it was clearly just wishful thinking to have her by his side, and something, wishes were just impossible to have around since that was the only thing that some people had. Elyx was one of those people, there was no way to bring Adrelissa back with him, so why did he even want to try. Besides, he knew that she was looking over him, and she wants him to be happy. That's why he wanted to be of best conduct, not killing of any human being, nothing that would cause so much pain and trouble for anyone that would cross him. Then he knew that he would be able to please her, and everyone around him. The sad thing though was that, he was not able to please everyone, no mater how badly he wanted to. The boy knew that there were people out to get him, in dark guilds, in other neutral guilds, maybe even in his own guild as well. Some people die because of how much they have done and the hard work that they do. Elyx did not plan to be a victim of hard work, he was able to fend for himself. And if not, there was Ignite on his side. Based on the Library, he was the only one who was able to summon the amazing Cassie onto his side. Overshield will instantly protect him after all.

The boy woke up after being shaken awake, the boys vision beginning to gain, and soon, his hearing became pretty clear as well. It was Ignite that was trying so hard. The area behind his head felt soft though, but maybe a little bit warm. It was sand, and this place was probably the Island. Elyx! Wake up you dumbass! Wake up! Damn it, I don't know what the hell the Myosotis is! Wake the hell up damn it! Ignite exclaimed as she shook the boy by his shoulders up and down against the sand, as if that would be able to wake him up. He knew the proper way of being able to wake someone whenever they were knocked out, but Elyx would rather be knocked out than locking lips with the She Phoenix for C.P.R. That would make him feel out of order and damage his pride. He had raised Ignite his whole life, he saw her like a child, and now, a sister. They would not go any further than that. He never even taught her about marriage, he waited for her to find the guy she said that she felt weird about, then he would poke a little fun at her before he would actually explain to her about what she was feeling. It would be a fun thing to see her so confused about human ways, and then he would have to explain the.... Other things as well. That is going to be a rough talk, she was so innocent, why should he screw up her mind, though it was the truth. Hopefully, she was going to be a good person why he taught her.

I am awake! I am awake! Mercy! Mercy damn it! That hurts! Elyx exclaimed as he was trying to get her off of him, the most he could do was beg since his eyesight was not the usual 20/20 like it usually was. The boy wanted to make sure that he was able to live first and recover before he set off, but that was going to be hard if Ignite was going to keep on shaking him like this. And just like that... He remembered doing the same thing to Adrelissa when she was dying. Instead, he was promising her that he would bring her to safety, she just accepted death like fate, and just ended up with it. To this day, the boy could have sworn that he would have been able to save her if he was just given the chance, if she were willing to go along with him. But groaning over it was not a healthy idea, it was a better idea to drop it, she was not with him anymore, physically at least. He liked to believe that she was by his side though, in another sort of form. One that he could at least hear and see. Then the boy realized something even worse... He did not even make a burial for the poor girl. Elyx never thought of burying her because he had to escape, otherwise, her efforts would have been put in vain. And now thinking about it... It was such a terrible thing for him to do, nowhere near proper for him leave her, to leave her body for the wolves, such an awful fate. The boy wanted to cry about leave her like that, but he refrained. If he wanted to be a leader, he would have to hide his emotions and make sure that they did not get in the way of the job. Once he did that, he would be able to beat this job that Kakuma gave to the two of them. Adrelissa, he would make a burial if he could ever go back in time, but could not stop her death.

Finally, Ignite got off of him with much relief in her eyes. It was not often that she would actually care about his health, but then again, he was near death. He just defied it a few minutes ago, something that he felt he should be proud of... Yet for some reason, he felt like the worlds worst person. But like he said before, he could not let his emotions get in the way of the job, so he was going to have to get up and find the Myosotis. The boy noticed a body to the side, and in the sand, a live Myosotis was there. That would be it, simply get that flower, and now he could return to Kakuma. But... He wanted more. Gong across the water for the job to be finished so easily? That would be a shame. she just wanted a flower, which was fine but now he had it, and he did not to bring that one alone. He wanted to actually work for it. There was a whole island for him to explore after all, and there was plenty of time to search for it. Ignite, we found our target, but I do not want to stop here. I want to bring many of those dark flowers, those are the Myosotis. Elyx explained before he pointed the She Phoenix towards the flowers. The boy looked down at the sand to see the flower no longer there. Ignite now had it in her hands. Meanwhile, he put his back up and sat down straight. It was perfect, he was now ready to explore. His head no longer felt light and he no longer felt heat behind his head due to the sand. The flowers were coming.

Elyxes Exam Empty Re: Elyxes Exam

Post by King Elyx 10th July 2015, 11:53 am

The both of them were now on the island, now it was time for the hunt. what should the both of them focus on first though? Getting some food and water to survive? Or should they try to nail this on the first day, and if they fail, they would have to suffer for a night. The answer was simple, the both of them did not even have to talk. They should play that game once again, the one where they had to remain silent until the end of the job. It was a little risky, but they have cleared this path so many times without even lifted a muscle. The two of them were going to get through the desert without talking in order to play the game and to make it more interesting. Because nothing was more interesting than two people who were not going to even talk to each other to help their boredom. It does not really help how he could not yell out any of the spells he would be using in order to cast them out. Well, he was aloud to use his spells, but it was not going to be as fun since he could not yell them out or explain what they do. It's not like the animals understood, but for some weird reason, it was fun for him to do anyways. Now that it was restricted, it was kind of sad for him. But he kept these thoughts in his mind, complaining about it to the She Phoenix would not be a good idea. This was supposed to be an interesting mission, and if speaking were to restrict him from doing that, then he would have a problem. He did not want to be any more bored than he currently was. This was Ignites idea, it was a weird thing to imagine she had a good idea. Then again, this might not be a good idea at all, it might be boring since talking to each other was actually fun in his opinion. The boy would wonder if this was actually a good idea, instead of being bored, he might end up being stressed, was that supposed to be fun. Elyx did not even know if the thought of trying to speak was a good idea, because he would then break down, and that will be the end of him right there. The boy tried to rush out all of his words back at the house so his mouth would be tired of speaking, it got to the point in which he was going to have his mouth rumble. Hopefully his planned work, he really wanted to win this game. the both of them were just walking casually, because that was really what someone would have to do in order to get through the desert and get out of there with success.

That was just about the general gist of the game and how they would play it again if they ever were that bored again. This was the first time they they faced an enemy that was able to deal with long range like that, so they were not going to be bored if the enemies planned to entertain the way that they did. The boy wanted to finish this job with a bunch of Myosotis flowers, even if it means fighting enemies that rough. The enemies that could carry items heavy enough to rock a ship over, and to throw them at far distances. Then again, this job did a great job at keeping the both of them busy. and what was to say that the thrown objects were not being carried by magic. If it were not, that would be H ranked strength right there. That was the ultimate goal for the boy, reaching such a power in which he could throw things like cannonballs and other heavy things with such easy towards attacking ships. His aiming would be amazing as well, his sight, his speed, the amount of power was just too much for him to handle. It was something that he feel he did not deserve, yet again, he wanted it that badly. He would need that power if he ever wanted a chance to get revenge against Shadelle and free those who are part of the resistance. The resistance and all innocents will have their lives spared, meanwhile, anyone else who wants to live under the dictatorship can certainly do just that, but they will crumble just like the ones controlling them, Elyx did not plan to go easy on anyone who supported Cain and his army. His purpose was to build the Armada Ark, the forbidden project in which would take years, it would make Shadelle the dominating place of the world, all H rank wizards mixed together would not be able to resist. This had a second name that the boy found more fitting, the Existence cannon. Just like it's name, it is able to wipe things out of existence with either a regular looking shot that can wipe out anything that it touches, or the giant beam of energy that will break through just about anything it touches and kill them, letting them just die. the choice was theirs, but the boy was more than willing to stop the machine, or the better alternative, use the giant beam of the Existence cannon on Shadelle so that it was no longer going to exist. Such a beautiful world without such a terrible land to look over it. The boy was only a B rank mage though, and he could not tell anyone else about the land he came from and their purpose while he was this way. He wanted to be the one to fight Shadelle, the Magic Council will hold him back from even trying at the current rank he was. That was why he needed to do jobs like this on on order to have a little bit of a chance. If he could hit A rank, he could be able to ask them and they may at least consider.

The boy looked around while he began to summon his Violin, he was able to sense a nearby enemy around the both of them, something about the enemy made him seem different from the last one. Well for one thing, the last one is already dead from a sniper rifle that took a hit to the heart. The boy looked around further and further to see if there was anything that he would like to do before the both of him and Ignite were to get into battle with the beast. The boy scanned the scenery to see if he could find the enemy, and once he did, he smirked. The enemy was nothing more than a regular A rank threat. Elyx and Ignite could handle it since it was alone. It liked to aim for bites that are quick with the job, no weakening of the prey however. That meant that the boy had no reason to go into his healer form, the enemy liked to waste a lot of time aiming for a kill that it would not get. The main point he should focus on was his throat, if that thing were to be taken out, that would be his the end. That was sad, it was just one mistake that could let Shadelle win, Elyx thought of himself to be the last hope for it. No one in Fiore other than Ignite knew about Shadelle, and if she wanted to become recognized by the Magic Council, she would have to change her existence. This meant that she was still considered a pet to the council, and while it was that way, she had really no right to speak out for serious cases or anything similar to that. On the plus side, she could start a new life with a new person, and then maybe three years from new, she would have to go through the era of the Armada Ark. That would be a sad time, and he would do his best to make sure that the poor She Phoenix would not get hurt during that time, and that her fire would be the light of the world. And this all came down to moments as small as this, if he just made one mistake in a move he did, in one step that he was not allowed to step it, it was his story told. It was like crossing a red line, in which he would point over to the other side and say something like "Death". Then he would point below in the area in which he was standing as he would then say "Life". Then it would just be a pattern of life, death, life, death, etc. The boy did not even know what he should be doing... The boy knew that he could handle it, so why was he thinking about the end of his life as if it were to actually happen.

The boy smiled as he was then able to confirm that it was just a vulcan. They were clumsy and stupid, plus, they were used to taking down dead things. Live humans are not going to be on the meal for tonight. Well, Ignite had a little bit of an advantage here, she was able to identify with one of the birds since she was able to be a bird herself. It was the fact that she was a Demi Phoenix that she was able to get away with this sort of act. Ignite was the only person Elyx new that he could trust with all of his heart, that was because he raised her his whole life, her existence was with him always, the boy knew better than to think that she had other intentions because of her being someone else, she had been with him, she had known what it was like to eat under the same roof, learn the knowledge he went through, go through the same struggles that he went through, everything in between as well. It was all just her being by his side, and now that she was here again, while he was weak and no one even paid attention to him, she was even a little bit hated because of him being a bounty hunter, and she was there for him, never once did she leave his side,. Admittedly, she has forced him to do things, but she knew when it was time to do that, and when it was better to keep her mouth shut so that his head would not be on the chopping block. Some others though, knew would never learn that they have tried to do what they thought was best for him, even though he knew it himself. They were trying to get him to speak out to the others about things that should remain to himself. The boy hated to be forced, despite what others said, he hated being forced to do things, and to blackmail people in the process, he was just about ready to kill that person, whoever it was, that thought that they could put strings on the joints of his body. That was how Shadelle made him feel, and when people tried to do the same to him in Fiore, he almost knocked them out for the next year. It was a good thing that the only people that have done such a thing to him so far were the people that he was actually supposed to beat up otherwise there would be a problem because Elyx would not hold back on anyone, regardless of how they thought that they were.

Finally, the Vulcan decided to make it's move towards the both of them, attacking form above. The boy had this corner covered, his weird Violin was ready for combat. The project was easy, 50% of him was surrounded by Earth, if this vulcan was able to cover anoth 25% of his surroundings, Elyx would be able to teleport, and that was not something you should let the boy do. The boy then remembered how he was able to beat up Vulcans with Jin on an old mission that he went on. And now his partner was gone. And then he remembered how he used to go on missions with her. The boy could not remember the last time he did it though, there was a little tension with the guild it seemed. But the boy was not willing to let that happen, he had one friend that he knew was with him, other than Ignite, there was Seven. A little aggressive, but she was always there for him, and that may have been a good thing or a bad thing. For one thing, the boy was unable to determine how she actually feels. She is one may call a manipulator, she is able to control the feelings of others to make them go her way. The poor girl did not know much better, she talked smart, but the way that intellect was going was down the toilet. Still though, she was a very cool person, and she had travelled alongside the boy as much as Nimpha had gone everywhere. The boy wondered where she was now, she would be able to help him fight off this Vulcan. The first move was made by the Vulcan as it swung down. Elyx countered the attack by playing his Violin, bringing out a Wind Make magic spell to help him out. This spell was Wind Make Awakened: Spiral Shield. When the Vulcan tried to attack the boy, it ended up getting caught in the winds and sent away. With the amount of force behind it’s attack, Elyx was able to confirm that it’s attacks inflict A rank damage. But that would be instantly cut in half with the effect of Creation, in which anything but wind or the earth that everyone here stands on would be cut in half with their attacks while there was a Wind-Make spell on his side of the field. Plus, there was the fact that his speed enhancements were just too much for most of his enemies to handle, and with the other effect of warning on his side, he was able to sense the wind flow and see if there was something wrong. If the wind was moving way too oddly, the boy will roll to the side out of instinct. This may or may not work since the boy could be getting hit by a regular sword, or the Armada Ark itself, which had a lot of range whenever it fired. The Vulcan hit a tree to stop it, the impact did not sound good. Before it went for another attack, a pillar of fire rained from the air and struck down onto the Vulcan. The boy knew it was Ignite, and since bird don’t fare well with fire, it was expect that their enemy would be burnt to a crisp. Elyx was wrong however, the Vulcan was still there. That was not something that he knew would happen. The Vulcan was still alive, even after both assaults. Then he remembered that this enemy had the ability to inflict A rank damage, so for him to take one was probably not going to be that big of a deal either. His body was on fire though, and Ignite just simply snapped her fingers with a smirk on her face, showing what would not happen. It was just too easy, an explosion.

Elyx's second spell was Wind Lerale Boost: Stealth Claws. His clothing will changed to a Black T-Shirt covered by a short-sleeved white jacket. The Pants will be denim blue jeans with two holes on the knees. The user shoes will be black with a white streak running through the sides of each shoe. The eye color will changed to a Light Grey color as well. The boy was floating above the ground, and soon, with his speed boosts, he zipped back towards the opponent. He quickly charged back towards the man with his claws outstretched. He aimed forward like Ignite fireball as well, aiming his claws to the stomach. The boy had to lose all of his other items to carry out these attacks, but Stealth claws mixed with the Spiral Shield was a nice idea. The shield was going to go down eventually though, and the boy was willing to accept that. It was a good idea to have it on his side now, soon, he and Ignite would defeat the Vulcan, who took severe damage now. It got back up onto it’s feet, only for Ignite to jump onto it’s back, holding it down the ground. It tried to fly with the weight above its back, but eventually, it got slammed to the ground by the She Phoenix, and it was clear that their second enemy had been knocked out of commission, there was no reason to continue.

The next Myosotis was next to be seen in there, the 2nd one. This was perfect, now he knew that Kakuma would be pleased with this result, but should he go at least a little further? There was still plenty of time in the day to be searching for some more of these flowers, and so far, he was actually having a little bit of fun with this. That was when he decided to continue on, like he thought, there was still plenty of time left in the day to screw around and get some more Myosotis flowers. After all, he was in the borders of the guild, and eventually, everyone else who wanted to become a good member of the guild would have to do the same thing. The finish line was so near for the both of them, so why would they cut the engine right now. Elyx and Ignite began to walk on the sand once again, well, the sand and the grass since it was sort of a mixture. The sand beach it was an island, beach on the edge of it. They also had half grass since he was located in the middle of a forest. The both of them were so close to getting a few, so far, they only had a couple. The boy smiled as he placed his hands in his grip once again. The Stealth Claws spell wore out already, and now he had to continue travelling until he eventually got to his destination. He could not wait to tell Mr. Takaro about this. He also forgot to mention Nimpha last time they met. Another thing he wanted to do was talk about the Traveler, Nimpha, and how her medicine or drug caused him to no longer remember most of his magic spells. He was truly grateful for the fact that she did give him piece of mind at last, but he wanted to know why he couldn’t relearn his Lerale magic spells or why he even lost them in the first place. Maybe Mr. Takaro knew the answer. Another reason why he wanted to go to Mr. Takaro was to learn a few more spells as well, or maybe just learn some sort of secret way to learn how to become stronger than the mages of his rank. Mr. Takaro was that sort of teacher, he wanted his students to learn in the best ways and have they become the best over anyone else of their supposed same rank. Sure he maybe not have expected Elyx to actually join a guild, but that was one of the many examples his teacher gave to him as a young boy.

The boy laughed at the thoughts, he forget the the man was just that, a man. A human being, he was not some sort of magical Wizard Saint that could make all of his problems go away. Sure, that was a very nice thought, and Elyx would pay a good amount of jewels for something like that to happen, but the reality gripped at Elyxs throat and objected to it. He did have a good story though, the story of Lerales and how they became, or the most that Elyx could remember anyways. The story of Lerale is a story of three men, Japheth, Lian, and Tyr. They all were brothers, Japheth being the most known and loved brother amongst the people, Lian being the smartest and wisest of the three, and Tyr to be the most caring and loving of them all. They were so bright and young, it was a miracle that they ended up killing each other. Though they were brothers, they always were competitive, no matter what. Eating, playing, and even fighting to the point in which they hurt each other on purpose. Everyone around them thought it was normal sibling things, but it was much worse than that. Nowhere near close to just a few siblings fighting for something or some things. They kept fighting… and fighting… and fighting for so unbelievably long. It was just something they did. Grades at school, running, doing chores, gambling, making bets, truth or dare, they all had their own territories. When they became rank SS mages, they all wanted to be the ace of the tribe. They all had one way of settling the biggest scores. Music. They all used music to fight, having the crowd choose who they liked best. Japhet earned his charisma through those music battles, but it was Tyr who won… he become the Ace of the tribe and a rank H mage. From there, Lian tried to kill… kill his brothers. Not just Tyr, but both of them. He started swearing and hissing about being the lowest brother, despite him being the smartest and having the most recognizable grades, I kind of envied his teachers for being able to have him as a student. Yet the teachers who did notice him, he never noticed them. The irony is all I would be able to say, what else one can say if they saw or heard things like that. Lian was able to kill one of his brothers, Japhet, by using what was considered illegal magic back then known as Zeax magic. Try ended up fighting for his life against his brother using his instrument since that was what got him to the highest of rankings. To avenge his brother and defend the tribe from the most that his brother became, he used his instrument to cast spells, and he was much strong than Lian and killed his smarter brother. There was no contest in the beginning. This is all that is currently known about the history of Lerale magic, but there is a lot more to it that just has not been uncovered.

To this very day, Elyx has been wanting to know the end of the story, how did the Lerales become a nation, or if they did not ever get along with each other, how did they end up splitting apart. Were they able to get back together again? Well, saying sorry was not an easy thing for anyone to do, the boy himself knew what it meant to refuse to say sorry, but he at least had reasons to hold a grudge and so did the three brothers of Shadelle

The next thing to do was find some more Myosotis, only for e bit of magic power to be sensed from the side, the right side to be exact. The boy did not understand what was going on with it and why it was coming, but he knew for sure that there was no time to be standing there and looking stupid, they were going to have to run for their lives or fight for their lives, because whatever was coming for them was coming for them fast. It was actually a lot bigger than Elyx expected and soon, Elyx understood why that was the case. He had only dealt with one thing like this, it was the Rising Star that ended up losing it. It being a life, and the boy did not want to expand much further on it. Now he was going to have to be a dragon slayer for a moment and kill it. This was going to be a rough task, but Elyx felt like he could do it. You don’t have to be a dragon slayer to… Slay… Dragons. That seemed a little ironic. What would make the point of actual Dragon Slayers then? The boy laughed to himself as he had a small answer of what might be the case, but he was not going to go as far as to actually saying it, so instead, he kept it to himself. He looked upwards and saw the dragon, ready to burn Elyx and Ignite. The dragon breathed out a lot of fire, only for that fire to be blocked instantly by the She Phoenix. This was the power of Ignite, she had the ability to control fire that was not even her own. The meant that any fire attacks headed for them, if they were not hers, regardless of who they were, she will be able to take the fire as if it were how own and turn it into a weapon that would cause her enemies mighty downfall. The dragon locked its eyes onto the crowd fire as it stopped breathing, to see what was stopping it from going any further. It was not able to see past the flames, which was a sad case since it was going to be so sad when it discovers the fact that it was something so small that was preventing something so big. The boy quickly put out his finger to show Ignite what she should do next, and she nodded her head in agreement as she put out her palm, putting the fire out forward and sending it towards the dragon.

The giant clump of fire was sent towards the beast, who had no time to escape when it got struck, sending it flying heavily before it hit the trees with a giant thud. It was sad how the trees did not even move, yet the dragon hit the ground anyways. How did that happen? Something had to break in the process, and it was not the trees like said before. The dragons body was pierced through, instantly sealing this battle and it’s life. That was not a pretty ending for anyone to witness, Elyx almost felt sorry enough to attempt to heal it. Two things stopped him though, one, he knew that it would just try to attack him once again if he freed the dragon, and two, no healing spells in his slots were big enough to actually heal the dragon and let it free. It was going to have to die, the boy could not take the chances. The both of them walked towards the dragon, and by it’s side was a third Myosotis flower. There was a pattern here. For every monster that the both of them had to kill, they got rewarded with a Myosotis. That was a nice exchange, no wonder why they were so rare, you had to kill many giant monsters. That would explain why many there may of the Myosotis flowers in the dark guilds, they were able to slay many monsters without anything such as remorse. That was probably why the flowers also had such dark petals as well. Well, the death of the dragon would not be in vail, he was going to make sure that he was able to get the rank up that he needed, and if this were the case, then that would make things a little bit better.

Elyx remembered in the last exam how Kakuma made him wait, and wait, and wait, until she then decided to give him one of the dragon bones and make some sort of bracelets out of them. The boy still had them on him, yet she did not have any reason behind why he should be wearing them. Naturally, this made Elyx confused on what he should be doing and why he was even bothering to wear them anyways. But it was like that little moment where she made him stand up, the long amounts of time he spent, sitting there and waiting. He was not even allowed to sit, the She Wolf made him stand up for nearly an hour, which eventually began to make the bones in his body feel sore. If he were to do that again, he might just cry when he returns back to the house. On the plus side, he would end up having a reason to not go on a job on the first day of the A ranks. Elyx was so excited and nervous about what the test was going to be. Was it going to be something like dueling her? That would be a simple loss right there and a guarantee of him not going up the rank, in which he would have to wait months for if he wanted another chance. Kakuma was fair about the way she graded her students however, so it was best if he thought of other possibilities instead of bracing for that one.

It was just simply not going to work if he would duel. Instead, he thought of why he was getting flowers. This was just like the other quest that he went on, the one where he would have to find some dragon bones and bring it to Kakuma, only for them to be given back to him for bracelets. Was he going to have to put this on Ignites head and keep it there until his S rank exam? That would not be easy, being S rank took a lot of work, way more than Elyx has been doing for sure. The boy looked at the Myosotis petals, then looked at Ignites red orange hair. No, there was no way in hell that would work. This was not for her, then what the hell would it be for? Elyx was beginning to get a little worried that these flowers might be a symbol of what would happen to him. How did he know for sure that he was going to be rewards as opposed to getting punished for something. It had been a long while ago since he had to pay for something that he had done in the past. Great, now he was thinking of the better of things to the worst of things.

Back to the start of what they were doing, Elyx and Ignite both picked the dark flower and placed it with the other two, now the both of them had 3 flowers. Maybe one more would be nice, it certainly would not hurt most other things in the world, just one thing on this island. The thing was, they were not going to attack whatever they thought was going to give them the flower, they wait for it to attack them first, then they would fight in self defense. They do not even try to lure the enemies to them, they just blankly walk around blindly and hoped that something would come along and try to fight them. And it just so happens to work, the both of them end up in a battle against something once again. Funny how their plans just so happen to work whenever they were needed. She had her fire ready, and the Giant Scorpion was ready to strike down onto the 2 mages. Elyx quickly brought out the Storm pillars by moving his Violin strings as fast as he could, the two of them were unable to move since one of them tried to help the other one, that other one taking an explosion of glass, so he could not be blamed for being still. They cared about each other like partners do, like how Elyx and Ignite cared for each other, even when their actions did not show it. The She Phoenix and him often fight and get into screaming matches over who gets the last strip of bacon, but that was how a family worked out whenever they cared, they fight over the small stuff without being fearful of judgement from one another. The boy and the She Phoenix were charging with all of their might as they were getting closer towards the enemy scorpion, who seemed to have many friends of the small scorpions ready to help. The boy jumped as fast as he could and released the storm pillars. Giant gusts of wind began to fly from the sky and struck down onto the giant scorpion and the smaller scorpion with such intensity. The boy was able to protect himself with the Storm Pillars, and finally, it ended up falling down like a tower. And soon, the fourth Myosotis… Finally appeared. It was their final plant, now they were able to go back home with a few presents for Kakuma.

The boy and the She Phoenix went away towards the edge of the island, their goal was to get to the boat that they came with in the first place. The Boat was their only way out of here now, the boy and the She Phoenix had to get there soon. It killed Elyx to have to go back up onto the boat once again, but he had just the plan. Quickly get into his room on the boat and lock Ignite out. Hopefully she would go on her own and get to her room, which was above his. And then Elyx realized that there was a hatch there. He was going to have to lock that as well so that so he would not be in a locked room with Ignite, who would probably beat him up for locking her out of his room. This morning was proof of how she did not like the idea of being licked out of his rooms in the first place, so if he wanted to make sure he did not see the water and did not have to deal with a pissed off Ignite, he was going to have to fight his way out of here. The boy knew how screwed he would be to deal with an Ignite that was angry, even while she was happy could she beat him up. The both of them were so close to the island, and when the sun has shown, it was clear that it was just noon. Perfect, they were able to do this request within a matter of hours. By the time they get to Black Rose, they were just simply home free with these elegant dark flowers. The boy smiled at the thought of completing a job so easily, the rest of the day was there for him to sleep.

The two of them began to board the boat, Elyx zipping into his room and locking the door quickly. He then grabbed a stool inside the emergency case and stood on it was he tried to reach the hatch. Meanwhile, the She Phoenix was setting the G.P.S coordinates for Black Rose Guild Hall, in which they can enter and greet Kakuma. The boy smiled as he finally was able to lock the hatch. He put the stool away as he then began to drift himself to sleep. A nice peaceful ride in the ship, the water sounded like rain, which he enjoyed very much in dark and peaceful rainy nights when he tried to go to sleep. The nice pitter patter of the rain was almost enough to put him to sleep, and then there was knocking, and the boys eyes were shot open as he remembered why he even locked the door and the hatch in the first place. Once again was he able to try to sleep, only for the She Phoenix to knock on the door even louder. He knew that she would not be able to get in without damaging the ship in which she spent his jewels on without his permission. Then again, she knew full well that he would say no, so he was going to give her a little bit of credit on that one for being somewhat wise. The knocking kept on getting louder, he even heard a doorbell once, and then Ignites muffled voice. All of these were being ignored when Elyx put on his headphones, no music playing out from them, and closed his eyes. This gave a final result of him not being able to see her or hear her, what a beautiful development this has become. The boy was able to do this, if he just continued to ignore the problem, it would just eventually go away right? That was what he thought until suddenly, the latch open, and a smiling Ignite came through it… And that was when Elyx remembered that Cassie taught Ignite how to be a terrible person and pick locks, and this one was no different than any other lock.

And once again, Elyx ended up fighting for his right to sleep on a boat without looking at the water. He knew that she would be able to drag him out of his bed someday to see the water, but today was not going to be that day. He held onto the wooden part of his bed and made sure not to leave. Meanwhile, Ignite was pulling on his ankles, and the both of them ended up in another screaming match in order to see who was right and who was wrong as usual. The boy did not want to leave his bed to get into the water, or outside like Ignite said she wanted, but it was clear that she was planning to throw him into the water. Maybe he should not bring her along with him any other way. That was what he always said to himself, but then again, he would always bring her with him anyways. It was such a sad ending, but it was the truth. He needed her to fight alongside him not, he has created his own fighting style in which Ignite became an important vessel so that his infinite chain of magic would not end. This was going to require her, and no matter how annoying she was, he needed her. Even if not in combat, she certainly knew how to keep his life from behind boring, she definitely had a lot of things to work on, but those things would not make him throw her behind and make himself want to be away from her. Besides, it’s not like he never did her wrong either, this morning he stole her breakfast, the poor thing must still be hungry After this, he was going to have to buy her a lunch box to make sure that they were even. It was not like stealing the lunch was a fair thing to do either. She would probably keep a close eye on him as he did this, and that was fine. He knew that he deserved it, but he did not deserve to get thrown into the water, so that was why he was hanging onto the wooden part of his bed for dear life.

Finally, the boat got onto the dock, and Elyx finally let go. The She Phoenix used all of her strength when attempting to pull him off, so when he finally gave in, she accidently threw him through the door, and a miracle happened. Instead of being inside a trapped door with an angry Ignite, the door shatter to pieces and the boy ended up rolling on the docks, but a smile was put on his face as he realized that he was safe. The boy now had to get to Kakuma with the flowers. It was a good thing that Ignite was the one with them instead of Elyx, otherwise they would have been shattered just like the door, and Elyx would be shattered if he came with the broken flower like that. The purpose of the flowers were still sort of unclear though, she was wanting a flower for what reason again? The boy did not even wait as he stood back up nto his feet again, his hair was a little bit ruffled, but that was something he could fix on his way towards the guild hall. He was wondering how long Kakuma expected him to be gone? A day? A few days A week? For normal A rank mages, that would most likely be the case, but Elyx did not translate to most mages, nor did he ever care too. If he were like many others, he would drag his feet to find some useless flowers, but he zipped towards the elegant flowers and not just brought 1, but 4 with him this time. This was like when he was on his other job when Kakuma wanted one dragon bone, and he brought three. The boy looked down at both of his wrists as he still had both of his wrists equipped with the bracelets made of Dragon bone. She said to keep them for now, she must have had some sort of purpose for them. This was going to be the chance.

Elyx and Ignite finally began to walk away towards the guild hall, in which they would expect to see the job request board, so many A rank jobs were right there, just so close. He was able to get in touch with the jobs and make even more jewels. He was also going to have a much peskier Ignite on his side since she liked to pester him about going on jobs that pay many jewels. The one thing that she never cared to pay attention to was the job description, in which Elyx was forced to read on his own. It was not like that description was going to make much of a difference anyways, the boy was going to have to go on the jobs anyways. Since when did Ignite even give him a chance at choosing. Then again, Seven never gave him a choice either whenever she wanted to do something. Like the last time that the both of them went on a ride, she pointed to whichever ride she felt was the craziest, asked him if he wanted to go, then she would say something like, “Nevermind, like I would actually give you a choose. Are you kidding me?” The boy could not help but laugh as the both of them would do just that, then he would laugh even hard when he realized that she did not deal with heights to well, and that all she wanted was to see him beg not to go on the ride.

The both of them entered Kakuma Guild hall, this time, he had some words for the guild leader, and a few questions as well. The paper with the letter he still had in his hands, and now he was going to give it to his guild master who so desperately wanted it. Or maybe not if she just decided to send out a mage to do the job instead of going for it herself. Was this just another case of her being lazy? That would not be an uncommon case, but he better be rewarded if it was. Hopefully he would not get one of those annoying “You should have done it out of the Goodness of your heart speeches.” Elyx was willing to say that he had no goodness in his heart, but that clearly was not the case. He was a Rising Star of Fiore after all, it seemed pretty clear about how much goodness he had in his heart.

Kakuma! It is Elyx! I have come at your request with not one as you have asked, but four Myosotis flowers as you have requested! Elyx called out, using the fact that the room echoed to his advantage. The boy waited for a response, but he then decided to add a small fact or two into this. He put out his bracelets made of the dragon bone. Ignite put out the flowers and laid them all on the ground in front of her before stepping back. She then tilted her head to the side to see the bone bracelets as well. And... If you do not mind me asking, may I ask about the Dragon Bone bracelets from last time? You told me to hold onto these until you say so, after all this time, may I know the reason why? Or is it still a secret? With that, the room remained with echoes, he knew that he would have to play the waiting game once again before he got to see Kakuma. He was willing to do what he did during the last exam, stand right where he was and wait for her to come. Hopefully she was even here at all, otherwise it would not be any different than speaking to a ghost or an imaginary friend.
