Simply I'd like to suggest we add a chart for elements that we label as "the same." By the "the same," I mean elements that are interchangeable for buffs and blocks. Does the fire shield block heat? Does the air weapon buff sound magic?
So we have two choices: Do we want relatable elements?
No:
Write in a one sentence rule along the lines of, "A magical buff or defense must specify exactly the elements it defends or buffs. A fire shield does not stop a heat wave, a weapon that boosts lightning does not boost storms."
Yes:
We need a chart that labels what elements can be tied in together. Elements will then be grouped and any buff, defense or spell of any kind that mentions a specific element will effect all elements in the same group.
Fire: Heat, Magma, Sun
Light: Holy, Pure, Sun
Water: Ice, Freezing, Rain
Ect: Miscellaneous, Various, Indefinite
That sorta stuff.
On a scale of one to ten, one being more emoticons and ten being removing the dice system this is maybe a four in importance. But it might solve some future disputes.
Yes no maybe so?
