A much needed stroll;bumping into future acquaintances? (Open)

The sun was setting and the park was clearing out, not because it was closing, but because it was late. As people fled, Blair walked into it. Birds still flew in the sky and various animals still roamed, squirrels, moles, various insects. A smile was planted on Blair's, sometimes it appears to be permanently planted there. Even though she would have wished to be at the park while others were still here, this truly was the only time she had to visit it. 

She had only been in Hargeon for a short while, where she joined the guild Lamia scale, becoming a mage of an official guild. Sense then, her life had been hectic. Whether it be because of the craziness of her allied guild members, her own mania caused by her own magic, or missions, she hadn't had much time to get out and look around. Walking around the fountain, Blair raised her limbs high into the air, stretching them out as she listened to her back crack, and listening to the birds chirp as she put her hands behind her head.  

"I needed this," She spoke to herself. "The fresh air, the smell of nature, and the sound of flowing water. Perfect." 

~Zellha~
Zellha lay against a tree in the park. Acalia gave control to her of her body, once again thinking Zellha deserved this. While she was a ruin goddess, hated all of mankind, and wanted destruction as far as the eye can see Acalia still apparently trusted her. So Zellha lay there, humming her favorite tune with her eyes closed. Acalia's soul stood next to her speaking. "Hey Zellha, why do you choose here of all places? I thought you'd chose a dark scary forest or something not a beautiful peaceful place like this on your free day!" She giggled, but stopped when the Ruin Goddess shot her a glare.
"I like peace, and you talking is disrupting it. Shut up. Now if you want me to go to a dark, scary place..." Zellha smiled.
"N-No! That's not what I meant!" Acalia started to freak out a bit.
"Then shut up. Let me be here in peace." Acalia nodded, and Zellha closed her eyes and began humming again, and a small ball of Ruin Energy appeared in her hand, and the green light illuminated the dark night.

"You should be nicer to your friend." Blair spoke, not even bothering to turn around. She was standing a few meters from the voice she heard, back turned to them. She wasn't sure if there were two people behind her or not, she hadn't checked, however she could only here one voice. the other person was either imaginary, or quiet. "A good way to loose people is by driving them away. they usually don't go on their own," She spoke, turning her head, eyes closed and smile stretched across her face. 

As her eyes began to open, she realized there was a single person behind her, a girl much younger then Blair, no older then 15 or 16. The girls hair was a vibrant pink, an odd hair color, almost as odd as Blair's Lilac hair. The girl was humming, and to much of Blair's surprise, she could feel two different emotions coming from the girl. Almost as if there were two separate entities within that single body. 

"You're friend seems afraid," spoke, still smiling, but reading at empathetic. "You, however, seem very proud about that. Care to explain how you are feeling two very different emotions?" Blair asked, still meters away from the girl. 

(OCC: My character uses Emotion magic, and one of her abilities allows her to read/sense the emotions of others.)

Zellha opened her eyes, to see a woman standing there. She began talking about how she would "drive away her friend" and stuff like that, which Zellha didn't really care to hear. She then asked her if she "cared to explain," as if she was above her and she deserved an answer. Great, another person with a superiority factor in their life, another one that Zellha HATED. Zellha continued humming, until she decided she would give the lady an answer. "No, I don't care to explain." Zellha said coldly, the hatred clear in her voice. The small orb of green light in her hands was glowing brighter, so Zellha threw it somewhere. It landed meters away and once it hit the ground it exploded, and the loud sound as well as a flash of a lot of green light came off of it, and a large crater was left in the ground.
"Zellha! That's quite a mean way to talk to this person! She seems really nice and-" She was cut off by a glare from Zellha, and Acalia instantly shut up. Zellha began to hum again, and she closed her eyes not really caring to talk to this person, or to deal with another "i'm better than you" person.

Blair looked down at her feet. "I didn't mean to offend you..." She spoke, brushing back her hair from embarrassment as her heart started to race. She could tell that the women was mad at her, not from any facial expressions or body movements, or even from the words the girl spoke, Blair could just feel that she had annoyed the girl. "You don't owe me an explanation, I was only curious." She spoke, looking up at the sky. the sun was now far away, replaced by the moon and the stars. 

Blair then began to smile, the feeling of embarrassment and sorrowful guilt had fled. Sacrificing just a bit of her stamina, Blair now felt completely serine with her life, happy, content. Yet another ability of her magic. She then began to laugh. "The world is a magnificent place, isn't it?" She asked. "The creatures on it aren't much better." Continuing to giggle, Blair cared not about the infantile girls mood, she would ignore it the best she could as she fell to her knees, and then laying on her back. 

Simply gazing upon the stars.

Zellha scoffed, not caring even to open her eyes and see what the other person was doing. "I don't care for anyone on this dreaded planet. Everyone could rot for all I care." Acalia stood there, shocked. Did Zellha say she didn't care about anything or one? Including Acalia? Acalia began to tear up, then started to bawl. Annoyed by the other soul's babyish acts, Zellha just began humming again, trying to tune out the child. When she couldn't, Zellha began getting angryer and started yelling. "SHUT UP!" This accomplished Zellha's goal, as Acalia quickly became quiet with the exception of Acalia's sniveling and the blowing wind.
This was supposed to be a peaceful day, for Zellha and Zellha alone.
Zellha lay down on the grass, instead of against the tree. Her long hair frayed all over the place, and her horns stuck out like a Neko. Sleep, she thought.
Sleep could cure this all.
So she closed her eyes, and hoped to go to sleep.

"She's so sad..." Blair muttered just loud enough  to be heard by her company. "You're so angry..." Gripping the ground, images of her parents began to flow through her head. "My dad yelled at my mom a lot... She didn't take it very well either... That relationship came to a fairly abrupt end..." She spoke, thinking about her father, the man who murdered her mother.

Tears began to swell up in her eyes as she tried to push the thoughts away, something she had been doing for three years now. "Be nicer to your friend. I know you don't care about anyone else, but you two are partners. I don't know how or why you are partners, but you are. You are bonded, a bond stronger then marriage, and that's a rare thing to come by," Eyes still gazing at the sky, her smile became one that was sincere, real. A little giggle exited her lips through the tears now spilling,

"I know you say you don't care, but i'm willing to bet that you're lying." She spoke. "You wouldn't be so angry and annoyed right now if you didn't care about that other spirit among-st you." the smile remained, seeming to be tattooed onto her face, and in her being.

Zellha scoffed. "You think I care about her? HA! You couldn't be farthest from the truth! I am angry and annoyed because i DONT care about this little girl, I'd be better of without her." Zellha began laughing, like Blair told a hilarious joke. Acalia, on the other hand, sulked and began silently crying, while she felt like bawling. Acalia thought Zellha cared for her, but aparently she didn't. Acalia was always nice, cared for Zellha, what was so wrong about her?
Zellha jumped onto a branch in the tree she was near, and green light surrounded her hands again. "I don't care about our stupid "bond." Well actually, I do care about it. I care that this bond of ours is BROKEN." Zellha began firing multiple blasts all over the ground at random areas, causing bright green explosions and craters forming. "I see everyone as I see bugs. Better off squashed." Acalia, for the first time in her life, was angry. She was angry at Zellha, she was angry at herself. So she did what she would normally do in this situation. Force Zellha out of her body. And that she did, and Zellha's body went limp and she fell off the treebranch.

Blair's eyes made their way over towards that of the pink haired girl, currently standing on top of a tree branch. A little concerned, she could feel the fear of the other spirit within that body, the feeling of fear intensifying as the girl fell from the tree. "Stop!" Blair shouted, leaping forward, catching the girls body, or at the very least breaking the fall of the girl. "You try to hard to prove it too me, showing you care what I think. You are trying to convince me that you care not for this other girl, but," She moved, cracking her neck and letting out a groan from the impact, "but if you truly didn't care for her, you wouldn't be trying so hard. in fact, you wouldn't be trying at all."

"Huh?" Acalia woke a few seconds after falling. She was apparently in someone's arms, and she looked over to the tree to see Zellha's spirit standing against it with her arms folded, humming. She looked over to Blair, with her no-longer narrow eyes which were now actually big and happy-looking. Her voice was even different, being younger-sounding and more "like her age." Acalia got up, then looked to Blair. "Th-Thanks for catching me... sorry if I hurt you." She walked over to the tree and sat down and hugged her legs, tears welling in her eyes from the sadness of what she indulged just then. She always thought Zellha cared about her, but but apparently not, and mixed feelings struck her like a sack of bricks, and she couldn't think of anything to do but sulk.

"Whats with the long face?" She asked. Showing no sign of surprise, Blair merely patted the girl on the back. The sun was down and the light from the moon was the only thing currently lighting up the park.  "You're a sweet child," She spoke, "Don't listen to the other one, she likes you. Trust me, i've known enough people to figure out how to read between the lines," Sticking out her tongue, Blair well back, leaning up against the tree. "She's just putting on a facade, a mask so to speak. I see it happen all the time between people with such a close bond." Looking down towards the girl, Blair began to blush, "Well, not nearly as close as you two are mind you, but i believe it only furthers my point."

Zellha scoffed. "This arrogant b**ch will say whatever it is to make herself seem right." Acalia brushed off what Zellha said just then, her spirit's uplifting from what Blair said. She had light emotions, easy to be cheered up and easy to be depressed. "Okay then. If you think she likes me I'll agree with you!" Acalia giggled, then stood up and hugged Blair. She then stood back, looking once over to the spirit of Zellha who glared back at her, then smiled at Blair. "So what are you doing in the park? I wanted to ask you that!" She sat on the ground and folded her legs like a kindergardner at story time, then looked up at Blair like she was a teacher.

Blair sat there, trying to ignore the feelings of mild pissyness coming from the tree above her. She could not hear or see the source, but she could feel it. "I haven't been able to visit this place in awhile," She answered, letting out a chuckle. "I've just been so busy lately I guess." Closing her eyes, she began to grow curious of the situation at hand. The situation at hand being the case of the little girl. "If you don't mind me asking, what is the current stance on your mental stability?" She asked. "I've never felt two seperate emotions from one source before, my grandmother used to tell me stories of people with great magic, magic so great that it interfered with their very being.  I just want to know if I could possibly be in the presence of such a power."

"Mental stability?" Acalia took a moment to think for a moment. "I guess I would say my stability is very high. I don't really have any mental issues, and I won't go off on some rampage or something like that if that's what you were talking about." She laughed. "I don't really have any power, I mean my ocarina can do a little magic but me myself I can't." She looked at the palms of her hands, the palms that Zellha used to blow craters over this park only a few minutes before. These craters were still here, evidence of Zellha's destructive nature. Could Acalia do that? No, she couldn't. It was the Ruin Magic, the magic of the Ruin goddess, Zellha. It was her power, not an average person like Acalia's. Even if she could do that, she knew that she wouldn't. Acalia wasn't destructive like that.

As the sun had vanished from the sky, Blair let out a sigh. The world was an odd place, one filled with mysteries and strange occurrence. This girl, Acalia , seemed to be one of those mysteriously odd occurrences. Two beings in one body, it was... odd, to say the least.

As the girl responded to her question, Blair smiled. Not so much commenting on the girls answer, but just accepting it as truth, whether it was truth or not. The girl had answered her question, and then continued to comment. It was then she spoke that she had magic. "So, you are a mage?" She asked, "No magic is a minor amount of magic. All magic is significant to the world. Don't forget that." She spoke, smiling towards Acalia.

"Are you in a guild?" Blair inquired. It was possible she too was a member of Lamia scale, Blair hadn't been there long, and she had heard rumors of children, young children, being mages in guilds. It was possible that this little one was a member of her own guild who she had yet to meet. "I ask because I'm a member of Lamia scale, the local guild around here."

"W-Well no... I'm no mage. My mom, who was a Mage saw my lack of power and give me this!" She put the ocarina up to her lips and played the song of barriers, and a very thin pane of what appeared like blue glass appeared in front of Desir. Acalia walked over to it and knocked on it lightly, then punched it as hard as she could (which isn't that hard) and the pane of glass didn't break. "But that's all I can do, Zellha is the Mage between the two of us." It was after this that Desir asked if Acalia was in a guild, and stated that she herself was in Lamia Scale. "That's really cool! I'm not in a guild, because I know no magic! I thought a magic guild wouldn't need a person without it, and plus Zellha isn't one who likes.... People." She said with a chuckle, and watched as Zellha shot her a "don't speak of me" glare, but she didn't say anything.

Dmitry was sleeping in a nearby tree, his hat covering his eyes, when he was woken by the sound of an Ocarina. The sound shouldn't have woken him from the type of 'dream' he was having and yet something in it's hymn managed to rouse the spirit mage. He sat up on the branch he was on and pushed his hat back to the top of his head so as to see the source of the noise. 

His eyes fell on a girl, holding what appeared to be the instrument in question, and a women who was likely in her twenties. Soon after the ocarina sounded, a glass like barrier appeared in front of the girl who played the song. Interesting as it was, Dmitry was about to brush it off and go back to sleep. However, he immediately sensed something...unusual emanating from the girl.

'You felt that, didn't you boy?' One of the spirits connected to him, Hati, spoke into Dmitry's mind.

'Yeah.' Dmitry responded through their bond. 'There's something inside that one.'


'What will you do?'

He decided to simply observe for now, as he didn't know all the details and acting without that knowledge would likely prove foolish.



(OOC: Whoops! Missed that bit there. Rewrote to include a somewhat vague explanation for that. Also corrected the glass thingy.)

(Well since Desir hasn't posted in well over a day I'll skip, but leave it so she can return in. Two thing though: One- The barrier song only produces one barrier and two- You wake up to a small ocarina but not the sound of loud explosions? XD)
Acalia continued her conversation with the Lamia Scale mage while Zellha hummed her song until she sensed someone else nearby, as if they were being watched. Fearing the worst, Zellha immediately began scanning for another person, and found one in a nearby tree. He was staring right at Acalia, and she didn't know why. So, knowing that there was no way this little intruder could see or hear her Zellha wandered off there, humming and attracting only a moment's gaze by Acalia. She sad at the base of the tree, humming and sitting there, wanting to at least know what his motives for watching then were for.
