Personality: Jack is a free spirited individual, some call him aloof and absent minded. At a glance one can easily brush Jack off as a run of the mill drunken buffoon. His easy going personality allows him to easily laugh and brush off things with little to no effort. Jack enjoys making people laugh and often resolves tension with his wit and comedy. People often criticize Jack for being sloppy and lacking discipline and class. Many people associate Jack's personality to be like the sun and sky. Due to his bright and charming personality misfits and outcast's tend to gravitate towards him. Despite being a pirate Jack is very kind to his crew and the people he cares about, this however does not make him a hero by any means. His kindness is a rare commodity that can only be given to those who have fully earned Jack's trust. Thus, when Jack truly cares for an individual he values them more than gold or rubies, he values them more than his own life.

Although Jack has the capacity of caring for certain people he is far from being a kind person. His  easy going and laid back personality is nothing more than a finely tuned and crafted disguise he uses to hide his true nature. Jack once was a kind and caring young man, but due to a life of betrayal, strife and loss ultimately twisted and permanently scared his once caring heart. Jack at his core, is a master of lies and deception. His tongue is sharper than saber, his wit quick like a bullet. Jack is a master of weaving words and lies together allowing him to make the unpleasant sound pleasant. Jack is a master of double speak. His actions may seem convoluted and sometimes borderline irrational. Jack thrives in chaos. His ability to think on the spot is second to none and this makes him dangerously unpredictable. He is observant and patient. Jack for the most part can remain level headed, however on the rare instances when Jack is angered, his wrath is worse than Avantika's anger.

As a leader Jack dislikes responsibilities especially when it interferes with his freedom, however, this does not mean Jack is not a good leader. On the contrary Jack is what many call a visionary, his skill lies in the macro, Jack often looks at things at the bigger picture and views the world in a wider scope. Jack prefers to lead from the shadows by keeping his identity hidden. In order to keep his identity safe he's adopted an alter ego simply known as the "The Captain" or "The Admiral". Jack's sister Avantika is usually his spokesperson and is the one responsible of making his plans come true, Because of this Avantika is Jack's other half her personality compliments him. Apart the siblings are formidable on their own right, but together... the Nightlocke siblings are an unstoppable storm.

Likes:

︎ Avantika & Shiva: These are the only two people Jack can confidently say he truly trusts and cares about.

︎ Andromeda: Jack is her captain, and he is proud to be her captain.

︎ Rum: What's a Pirate without rum? If one doesn't drink rum can they truly be a pirate?

︎ Traitors: Jack abhors traitors and does not tolerate mutinies. Jack maybe a liar but when he truly pledges his loyalty to someone he will never betray them.

︎ Paperwork: Filling out paperwork and ledgers is Jack's bane. He absolutely despises paper work, which is why he leaves all important documentation and financial reports to his sister.

︎ Culture of the wealthy: Jack has nothing wrong with being rich. What he despises is the superficial pleasantries and useless customs of noblemen and rich folk.

Personality: Avantika in many aspects is the opposite of her brother Jack. Avantika is a proper and well mannered individual. Despite leaving behind her nobility she still holds herself as a lady and often indulges in proper manners and etiquette that could rival a princess. Despite her noble façade Avantika is a cold and ruthless individual. While Jack is easy going, she commands her troops with order and efficiency. She approaches things seriously and often considers the results and consequences of her actions. Avantika leads with overwhelming charisma, all of her subordinates respect and a fear her. Despite being respected by her crew Avantika always maintains professional distance, she often emotionally holds people at least an arms length away, the only exception to this is her her brother Jack.

Avantika has a deep love for combat and enjoys a good fight. She is aggressive and prefers to be on the offensive. Her fighting style is disciplined, measured and graceful. She is blood thirsty and does not hesitate to take a life if it means furthering her ambitions and objectives. She is callous and will not hesitate to cut off anyone who is a liability or dead weight to her plans. She absolutely hates it when things are disorganized. Thus, unlike her brother she enjoys paper work, keeping track of finances and resources is often her job. While Jack specializes in the macro, Avantika excels in the micro management of things. She is pragmatic and resourceful in her approach to things. If jack has a vision Avantika has a plan.

As leader, Avantika can be found leading in the front lines, she refuses to lead from the back lines. Avantika is often the first to lead the charge into battle. Her words can easily move her subordinates into action. Her wrath inspires fear, while her valor inspires courage in the battlefield. While Jack works best in the shadows, Avantika excels being in the spot light. Her graceful and regal demeanor earns the respect of those in nobility, while her tenacity and fighting prowess earns the respect of warriors. When working together with her brother, the two covers each others weaknesses and bolster each others strengths.

Appearance: Avantika is a classy woman who wears Victorian style clothing. Despite her appearance her choice of clothing is easy to move around especially in combat. She wears a tricorne adorned with a feather. She can often be seen wearing a dark will fitted over coat that matches her whole Victorian era attire. She has dark leather booths and can often be seen carrying her pistol and dual sabers.
