Line Dancing |JOB| To Eathland and Beyond

Romulus sat in his favorite coffee shop in Rose Garden. He tried to remain as calm as he could, but multiple things had him on edge at that moment. Firstly, Romulus was carrying way more money than he was ever used having, let alone carrying. He rarely had enough jewels on him to buy a couple drinks, since that was all he ever bought. The second thing that had Romulus on edge was his hatred of strangers. Strangers, especially when in large groups, made Romulus uncomfortable. But that is almost to be assured when you're, literally, raised by wolves. But both of those things were a necessary evil on that day. Romulus was finally going to get his passport.

Romulus continued sipping on his coffee for quite a bit of the morning. He was dreading having to go stand in line for the document that he really didn't think was all that necessary. But regardless of his own thoughts, Kakuma had very different idea. Guild Master Blackflower made very well sure to force Romulus to get the worthless piece of paper. So, in order to maintain membership of Black Rose, and of the living, Romulus set out to his favorite town to get this extremely important worthless piece of paper. Not to mention expensive. A scrap of mashed together tree with some black stuff on it was going to cost him five thousand jewels. That was outrageous to Romulus, he could mash trees himself for cheaper.

Realizing that if he waited any longer into the day, the line he would be in would be at peak horrificness, Romulus got up from his table in the shop, and payed his tab for the morning before setting out into the streets towards the building he would get his passport from. When he arrived, Romulus knew already that the line would be bad. As he found his place in line, Romulus was already getting angry. Everyone around him was creating an a din the likes of which couldn't be rivalled by even the most cacophonous guild halls. The abrasive sounds assaulted Romulus' heightened sense of hearing, quickly giving him a headache and causing his sense of sound to go hollow, making everything sound like he was in his own little bubble of water, which didn't help anything.

The second major problem that Romulus found pushing him closer and closer to the edge was the fact that the people causing the din around him were not only assaulting his ears, but also had begun assaulting him. Romulus caught elbow after elbow, and was being pushed back and forth as if he was part of some extremely erratic tide. As the people around him continued their rampant assault, Romulus' temper began to flair. He clenched his fists tight as a very small amount of dark magic wrapped around them, and his magical pressure began to surge outwards. People around him began to notice the increasingly unstable mage and reacted to the situation how most people would. Some ran from the line, some simply moved to the side, and others locked themselves in place.

Romulus took advantage of the exodus that occurred in the line he had grown to truly hate, and simply walked up to the front of line. No one dared try to stop him, as they were, very rightfully, worried about what might happen if the mage got pushed any further. When the wolf mage made it up to the counter, he drew out the jewels from inside his coat pocket, and slammed it down in the counter as the dark magic began to envelope the money as well. The small man behind the counter scrambled quickly to get Romulus his document and got it to him as soon as he could. Taking the document, Romulus began heading for the nearest patch of wilderness as fast as his feet could stomp, making sure he punched, and severely damaged, the first lamp post he came across.
