Personality:Vitiate is very serious, cold, and calculating most of the time since he sees no reason to be sociable to people he doesn’t care for and just interacts with them for whatever purpose they have to and in hopes he won’t have to deal with them again. Although he isn’t like this all the time, for the very few people who have extended interaction with him and start to grow on him, he’ll become capable of social norms; such as talking with no real purpose other than to talk, making jokes and other things he would otherwise find detestable.

In combat Vitiate retains his same mode of operation. He will carefully analyze his enemy and most usually play defensively in an attempt to gauge his enemy’s strength. Once he develops a pattern in his enemy’s attacks he start’s an offensive, striking at any perceived weaknesses the enemy has, he’ll be relentless and will show no mercy to his opponent and will finish them off if they serve him no further purpose, just to be sure they never come back as a larger threat. He’s always fought on his own as he has closed himself off to others. In the few occasions he was in a fight with “allies” he lead them with the same strategicness he always uses and makes sure to always have a plan in case of a betrayal. If in a situation where someone else decides to lead a fight he'll follow orders as long as they make sense for the maximum efficiency for their current objectives, otherwise he'll disobey his orders and do what he thinks makes more sense on his own.

Likes:

• Logic: Vitiate has always been calculating in his thoughts and plans and mannerisms and even personality it dictates every move he makes.
  
• Darkness: Vitiate has always found comfort in the dark, it gives him a calming peace.
  
• Challenges:Vitiate loves a challenge because odds are he’ll learn something and gain power by the end of it. If it didn’t have something for him to gain then it wouldn’t be a challenge and if it isn’t challenging, in his eyes it isn’t worth his time.
  
• Learning: Vitiate believes that knowledge leads to power and power helps to acquire more knowledge which in turn gives even more power. In addition to that knowing the lost secrets of the world and discovering new ones gives him a great pleasure.
  
• Snakes:He found a melanistic fierce snake when he was 11, they stared each other in the eyes and he felt a calm rush over him; the snake was also very relaxed. He went to pick it up and it didn’t react aggressively, it coiled him passively. He named it Midnight and it’s stayed with him ever since that day, it’s the only thing he still trusts.
  
• Solitude: Vitiate thinks best in solitude, it’s when he can be in peace and collect his thoughts as well as meditate and rest himself. If anyone is around him other than his pet snake he’ll be forced to be alert as he refuses to let his guard down other than when he is sure that he is alone in a secure location.

Dislikes:

• Arbitrariness: Things based on personal whimsy and/or random choice bother Vitiate to no end.
  
• Illogical People/Situations: If Vitiate can’t carry a proper conversation with a person or they lose their cool and become irrational or were just irrational to begin with, he has no use for you and will end interaction with you. Whether this ends up violently or not depends on the person and just how much their thought process bothered them.
  
• Spiders: Vitiate dislikes spiders for two reasons, the first being that he is scared of them; the second being that he knows that there is no logical reason to be afraid of them. The fact that he can’t get over his fear of them irritates him greatly.
  
• Lack of Progress: Even though Vitiate loves challenges, this only stays true if he is making progress on them. If for any reason he gets stuck for what he thinks is too long a time, it will aggravate him.
  
• Lack of Knowledge: Not having any knowledge of a subject deemed important bothers Vitiate so much that learning more about the subject will be all he is able to do until he knows enough to calm down.
  Death: He refuses to die until he knows all, if he he successfully learned everything he would have fear of death for it would never come for him.

Motivations:

• Creating a Utopia: With his knowledge he seeks to create a Utopia, because the world he lives in is so illogical. People could live in peace if they worked together, but someone always wants to take more than they need and leave the rest with little to nothing. He seeks to change this so everyone has more than they need and no one will need to want for more ever again. And he will not stop to let anyone or anything get in the way of his goal.
  
  
• Learning all the Secrets of the Universe: Vitiate wants to know absolutely everything so that way he will be able to solve everything. That way things can be put into order so people can experience true freedom without fear of greed taking from them. The universe is chaos and he admires it beauty and its majesty, but he longs to tame it.
  
  
• Becoming Immortal: Vitiate knows that the universe is infinite and ever expanding so there is no way you could truly know everything. At least not for an amount of time that would make even a menial difference, so to solve that he seeks immortality. To become a permanent watchman of order.
  
  
• End his Arachnophobia (Secondary): It seriously bothers him that he can’t rid himself of his fear of spiders.

Fears:

• Dying: If Vitiate was to die that would mean failure.
  
  
• Arachnophobia: Scared of spiders for no logical reason.
  
  
• Failure: This is the ultimate fear of Vitiate, he would sacrifice anything but himself and Midnight to avoid a failure. The ultimate failure being death, as it is an unrecoverable failure.

Appearance: Vitiate always has a very stern look on his face even though you can barely see him because of his black hooded cloak and the cloth covering his face below his eyes. The fact that his eyes are the only visible part of him doesn’t help since they always have a very strong unyielding look.
