Akryn quietly sat in the very center of one of blue pegasus' largest court yards, legs crossed and eyes closed. He had ditched his glasses, jacket, and boots today, sitting in just his pants and red glove. Set up at the edge of the courtyard, all around, were several dummies, made of solid oak and designed to look like people. Akryn had set them up, and reserved the courtyard today for a very specific, and special, occasion. He intended to challenge the whole guild to a martial arts match, challenge and, if possible defeat them, before then moving on to train them. His advertisement for today had apparently drawn the attention of two of the guilds strongest, Zack, and another that Akryn did not know, as well as his own team and a few others that he had never met. The fact that so many seemed interested in this fight, and opportunity, was a good thing to the young fighter, and he hoped for both a good showing, and fight.

Zack walked in and because he knew it was a hand to hand training session drew his sword and slammed it into the ground and then with a leap he stood atop the hilt standing there with a hand held up to his nose and eyes closed as if he was focusing intensely. What he was doing was indeed that and it was rather different. He was focusing his magic power, compressing it down a bit so that in this battle he would not accidently crush people with pure magic power. It was one of the unfortunate side effects of being a H rank mage. He wondered who would show and if anyone would enable him to go all out in terms of speed and strength. He half hoped Ayeseru or Shuhei might turn up just for the fun of fighting them. However, he knew the guild had some strong up and comers including the one who had arranged this session.
"Seems you have quite a few people coming." Zack said without opening his eyes. His sensory skills were very good. "And your set up is very nice."

High up in the sky a figure hovered in place, dark blue wings making mighty sweeps which disturbed the air patterns around the half dragon. Akeya looked down at the courtyard where one of the other Blue Pegasus members, called Akryn, was waiting for arrivals to what had been described as a training in martial arts. This was definitely something which interested Akeya, seeing how she often used hand-to-hand combat and could always improve on it. While she had raw strength and speed, and knew how to use surprise attacks, she didn't really have any advanced techniques, instead relying on hitting the more obvious vulnerable spots and dodging everything with speed and reflexes. When she saw Akryn in action he had been using weapons, but she was willing to test out just how much he knew about the subject.
Changing her hovering into a dive Akeya headed for a spot a couple of yards away from Akryn, once low enough slowing her descent, although the winds would likely ruffle the man's hair. With a nod at the tutor Akeya landed, although maybe that wasn't the best word: rather than landing the normal way her tail curled up into a spiral, with the winged ninja sitting on top of that spiral with crossed legs. Her wings folded up neatly behind her, and the half dragon settled into patiently waiting, as always her face hidden behind her mask and blindfold so her expression was invisible.
She also nodded towards the other arrival, the H-Ranked Blue Pegasus member called Zack Rose. If he was going to fight all out Akeya was pretty sure neither she nor the one who would act as the teacher would stand a chance, magic or not. It wasn't really a secret that one of Zack's specialities was speed, and good reflexes and experience could only help you up to some point when facing an H-Rank mage who put a lot of effort into being one of the fastest people you would ever encounter.

“Setsuna,i wot that the ordinary had did thou wrong. yea i thy own mother had treat'd thou like a outcast, all because thou weren't born a sirrah to take the heir of the family,i am sorry if i couldst take it back i would, but try to live a life worth living”the words was soft yet gentle as they left the lips of the woman speaking them. The sun was rising into the sky as the shining light shined down on all of Fiore. The small breeze that traveled caressing the people skin as it passed by as the place was in peace for the time being. It had been a few years since the Arashi family had finally returned to Fiore. This family was one of the wealthiest that lived in Fiore though a lot of people didn’t understand why they were like that, but alot of questions shall remain unanswered till a later date.
There was a manor on a hill on the outskirts of Fiore’s grasslands, this was the home of the Arashi family. Well at least one of their quarters that was scattered around the world it was just who they were and how they lived. The Manor itself seem it was a good four stories high, even to the point that it met the trees half way that was scattered around the area. The sunlight gently hitting the home as it shined with its utmost bright light. A window at the top floor of the manor will have the curtains flung open as stood a maid, probably early thirties by how she looked and moved.”Lady Setsuna, you can't sleep all day thou hast a big day this morning”said the maid as she walked to the bed in the center of the room.
Setsuna eyes will slightly open as the covers slide off her her torso, her eyes looking towards the window which had a slightly crack in it. This allowing the sun to breach through into her chambers as her fingers would go through her hair. She hasn’t really been in the guild she apart of for awhile now. She felt she was better off doing things alone, but of course that wasn’t the best idea since she did belong to a guild.”Dost thou know the time?”she spoke out finally the pure accent of her voice moving through the room as her eyes will still be looking towards the window.”Lady setsuna, you art schedul'd to meet sir Akryn at the guild”said the maid as she would open the curtains.
Setsuna would sigh,as her parents wanted her to get involved in this stuff with the guild well it couldn’t be helped at all she suppose.”i shall be ready shortly prithee get the carriage ready”she would say slight as she rose from her bed and started to get dress which didn’t take much or anytime at all due to her room held pretty much anything she needed. She stared into the mirror as her blue eyes looked back at her,she just hope she got some benefit from this. Grabbing her tea case which was pretty much her purse filled with tea supplies, which she never left without it. Leaving the manor she will get into her ride to the guild which was taken promptly as soon as she entered.
It didn’t take her long to get to the destination,as the courtyard wasn’t that far from the actual entrance. Stepping out the carriage she will sigh once more, there it hit her though it wasn’t on display a strong magic power felt like her breath was coming short. She panted instantly, maybe it was due to the fact she wasn’t around a lot of magic power in her isolation. “Setsuna...guess you feel it as I do”said Eos,it was the goddess that shared the body with Setsuna. Though it wasn’t on display just the feeling that weighed down on her was heavy,as she had just stepped from her carriage.”Lady Setsuna art thou alright?”asked the driver as he looked at the woman he worked for. She would nod slight no words leaving her lips,it was bad she could feel it already and she wasn’t even in the area where everyone was at. Due to sharing a body with Eos her sensing was pretty much doubled. She grabbed her bag holstering it on her shoulder as she would actually walk toward the destination.
She would walk into the vicinity finally as she wateed something fly from the sky and land, this caught her attention as she totally wasn’t watching where she was going. Her foot catching on the gravel on the ground, this making her body fall forward as she land face first with a loud crash, This what she get for watching something fly and try walking at the same time it was her problem.”Now that looked like it hurted….you better be careful, your looks are the only thing working for you right now...don’t want to mess it up”Eos being a smart ass as always. “who the hell doth thou think ye are Eos. . . “she accidently screamed out loud so it was obvious she was heard. Getting off the ground finally she will walk towards the others though her cheeks were red out of embarrassment. “i'm sorry. . mine name is Setsuna Arashi”she introduced herself. “You should probably wipe the dirt off your face miss nobility…”Eos couldn't help but comment. Setsuna would grab the napkin in her bag to wipe her face of the dirt that was caused by the fall. Sharing a body with a goddess was a pain in the ass...especially when she is so freaking judgmental...no reason she was still single as a goddess….

Natalia yawned as she set up from her bed, it was morning and she was still tired, an effect of being awake all night due to a fever. She got out of her bed and began to dress for the day, today she decided to avoid her usual attire and instead put on a white dress with a light blue snowflake pattern around the bottom. She put on some white boots and began her way down the stares into the kitchen, instead of preparing breakfast she simply grabbed a couple cupcakes and placed then into a very small picnic basket just big enough to fit 4 cupcakes. She then started making her way to the guild where she had felt safe for the past few days due to her severe fever.
Upon entering the guild she took notice of some high magical energy, curious as to who it was she began walking in that direction. She of course knew that her own magic power was quite high, there we comments about it being higher than some of the guilds strongest, though most of it went wasted and untapped though she never really noticed others. She wondered if it was Ayeseru again until she found herself in one of the guilds largest courtyards where a gathering of wizards had taken place, and Ayeseru was not among them though she was certain this was where the massive magic power was, though it was a bit suppressed by now. She quietly moved up behind the people and spoke in a quiet tone. "Um... hello? is something happening here today?" She asked completely oblivious as to what the occasion was.

Ayeseru groaned, followed up by his sigh. Along with his terrible habit of sighing, it would appear as though he began groaning frequently as well. The crimson eyed mage had only woken up several minutes ago, and was stretching out his back. He felt incredibly groggy, and rubbed his eyes which were filled with angel dust. It had been quite a while since the last time he did anything that was particularly physical; he decided to change that after he saw an advertisement - a challenge, to be exact. A martial arts challenge. The Fallen God Slayer was, however, aware that most of the guild probably didn't know him in person, and, as a result, didn't want himself to be known.
Ayeseru compressed his magical energy as much as possible, to make it appear average. Surely, if he didn't show that he had an amazing amount of magical energy, he would remain unknown... Right? Well, that was his hope; another one being that no one would call out his name to reveal him instantly. He sighed once more. He was nearly at the designated area - Blue Pegasus' largest courtyard. Ayeseru lazily found himself entering the courtyard, suddenly, out of nowhere, and when he realized, he facepalmed. I really outta pay more attention, sometimes...
He looked around the courtyard. Some familiar faces, but most weren't. No one actually gave him any attention, even if they did notice him, so he took the opportunity to turn into a dark shadow, and instantly trailed up a large column, sitting at the very top of it because it wasn't actually connected to anything, both of his hands resting on the very little space that remained from him sitting on it in human form, his feet dangling from the edge, a half grin plastered upon his face. He was looking down, watching everyone, and waiting for it to actually begin.
If anyone saw him now, they would see Ayeseru was a shadow in the shape of a humanoid.

Akryns eyes snapped open as he felt enough people enter the courtyard, and he quickly unfolded his legs and quickly snapped up to his feet in one swift motion, his silver, shimmering eyes slowly taking in everyone that had cpme in, even Ayeseru, hiding up on a pillar. He spared Natalia a cursory, curious glance, before moving on. He was surprised by very little these days. "Welcome all, and thank you for coming. I admit myself a bit surprised at a few of those here, and am disappointed that others are not here. But I digress. You all know why I set this challenge up. I wish to test the martial prowess of this guild, evaluate it and, if possible, improve it. So, without further delay, will the first challenger please step forward." Akryn said as he slid his right foot back, drew his right hand back to his chest, hand wide open, and extending his other hand forward, hand wide open and palm extended forward, his eyes slowly sliding from person to person.

He was interested on some of the people who had turned up. He recognised the aura of Ayeseru though it seemed different, darker somehow. The woman known as Setsuna spoke a bit oddly, but he'd not heard too much so perhaps it was just a quirk. The other woman had a strong aura of magic, almost chilling the air, but she herself as far as he knew wasn't one of the power houses of the guild. He briefly aimed his gloved hand towards her and was surprised. Her magic power outclassed his own, but it seemed rather unstable. A huge internal magic source, but little control it seemed. Perhaps that was why she chilled the air. Her magic was leaking and chilling it. She would be very powerful one day. The other 'oddity' of the day was the half dragon. A rather interesting member of the guild who he'd met once before. If he recalled her name was Akeya. It truly was an odd assortment that had arrived.
Zack didn't even hesitate for a moment and jumped down and lunged going for what seemed like a straight punch to the head of Akryn. He wasn't one to wait around for his turn. He'd take his turn straight away. His punch initially seemed straight forward however as he went to strike out with his right hand he also launched a second powerful punch with his left hand going for the stomach of Akryn. This made his body twist slightly and it looked comical, but most couldn't deal with both punches at once. He hadn't used his full power of course. Even blocked a full power punch from a H rank had the potential to break bones. "Don't hold back." Zack commented. He wanted his 'teacher' to go all out against him and make this fun.

Akryn had half expected an ace to start things off, and so when Zack rushed in, Akryn was ready. He didn't move, watching zack until the last second before, as the second punch came in, Akryn would move his foward hand down, using it to intercept the punch towards his gut, his second hand coming up to simply catch the high fist, even as he slid his body into an angle, suddenly thrusting his head foward between the two blocked attacks to aim his forhead at the bridge of zacks nose. However, even as all that went on, Akryns back leg would shoot foward, ramming the knee upwards towards zacks gut with enough force to crack stone. "Never be to eager to rush your opponent, and take time to observe his posture and stance first for weaknesses." He admonished.

His opponent had seen the attack coming. With one hand he blocked the blow to the stomach and with the other he caught Zack's fist. An impressive feat in itself as the second punch was normally quite well hidden. Still, if his opponent hadn't been able to deal with it then it wouldn't of been worth staying. Yet did that mean he was going to let himself get hit? Of course not. He threw his weight to the side against the thumb of the hand gripping his throwing himself into a cartwheel narrowly avoding both blows. The sound of the knee was a definitive woosh and it was incredibly close. He grinned and looked at his opponent.
"That's your style not mine." Zack said casually. "I prefer to learn through fighting. All the theories and training in the world don't make up for real life experience don'tcha think?" He grinned and winked at Akryn as he assumed what appeared to be a completely relaxed stance. "Besides if you hadn't of been able to stop that then...what's the point of me being here?" It wasn't even normal for Zack to just launch a couple of blows. He either went for one super blow enhanced by gravity, magic etc or a series of rapid powerful blows. A simple combo like that, whilst good, was not exactly that impressive. The counter to it was, but then again so was his counter to that counter. This was going to be fun.

Akeya had been planning to quietly wait for any other guild members to show up, seeing how so far the only one in the courtyard were Akryn, Zack, and herself, which wasn't really a lot of people for a challenge to martial arts. Fortunately before too long others began to arrive, although they attracted more of the half dragon's attention than she had suspected. This was mostly because of the specific people who were showing up.
The first one was a woman who Akeya had to admit was rather comely looking, especially when compared to her own more mundane self. Of course, the fact that she fell down and had to pick herself up ruined the opportunity to look impressive, but behind her blindfold the half dragon still stared at the female for a while, although from the outside it was likely that the only thing anybody would notice was that she turned her head to watch the person who stumbled and fell.
Next up was the hostess of a large amount of magic, powerful enough that Akeya could basically pinpoint her location whenever she was in the guild. Although the fact that she could also sense it from larger distances indicated that the white-haired girl, who acted as the core of that large well of energy, had trouble keeping her own power in check. When the snow girl came closer and asked what was going on Akeya briefly turned her head to look at Natalia, her face as always completely hidden behind dark blue cloth.
"Akryn Motomiji has prepared this courtyard today for those who wish to focus on training in martial arts."
After that Akeya returned to looking at the centre of the courtyard, where Akryn was still waiting for more people to arrive. She had to admit, she had been expecting different arrivals. The female with the long orange hair (who had a really odd manner of speech: Akeya blinked at that before dismissing the oddity) didn't look like she was used to physical combat, and the snow girl was not dressed for such a thing at all, adding onto the fact that she asked what was going on. So far the only person who showed up with the intention of being serious was Zack...
Akeya managed to not snap her head around as she sensed another powerful source of magic coming closer, this one feeling very familiar. Well, not as familiar as it once had been, but it was still a source of darkness and shadows. However, it was more darkness than shadows, far darker than Akeya's own magic. While she still faced the same way the half dragon's eyes quickly travelled sidewards and upwards until she saw Ayaseru on top of a nearby pillar. His arrival now meant there were three people here who possessed a magnificent amount of magic power, although two of them were vastly different from the third. Still, something to take note of. Not that Akeya minded having so much magic in the vicinity: the nature of the magic wasn't hostile, so for the winged ninja it felt fairly comfortable.
Apparently Akryn had enough of waiting for more arrivals, and just declared that the first challenger could step forward. Akeya wondered whether she should go first, since she was already familiar with Akryn, which would mean that the training session would start off with little complications. However before she was finished considering all the pros and cons one of the Blue Pegasus Aces, Zack, already was charging Akryn, having begun moving the moment Akryn called the first challenger up. Akeya sighed softly as she watched Akryn and Zack fight, although honestly she was also glad. Going first could have helped giving the lesson a smooth start, but now she could do what a huntress did best: observe, learn and wait for an opportunity to strike.

Akryn gave Zack almost no breathing room, rushing in towards him, but suddenly dropping into a roll as he neared, his feet going up into the air. And then to the sides as his legs split and he began to spin rapidly, all of this in rapid succession. Akryns feet came in from the right, again and again and again, as Akryn span and advanced with just his hands and momentum, his feet WHOOSHING as they made passes. As he span however, Akryn would also push off with his hands, slowly and at an angle, so that his feet were no longer coming in from a horizontal side, but an angle, and then a higher angle, slowly progressing up to vertical strikes, still spinning by pushing off with his hands in what almost looked like a semi horizontal cartwheel. Perhaps silly to look at as well, but there would be no doubt that it would most definitely hurt if one of those kicks landed.
As Akryn span, his legs vertical but his body horizontal now, He would wait until another spin, before suddenly launching off of the foot currently down, launching up to swing another kick down towards his opponent. The foot would land on the ground, cracking the floor with the force, but planting firmly. Akryn would then bend the knee of the planted leg and swing his free leg sideways at Zacks ankles. And then spin around in a complete circle to swing at the knee, then the hip, then the ribs. Akryn would then spin again, this time aiming for the head, but aiming high so that he could bring his foot down at an angle from above, planting that foot with another crack of the floor, bringing up his other leg and kicking straight back at Zacks gut, pushing off with his other foot to spin once more, drawing in the foot that had aimed for zacks gut to whip his other foot around again, landing from the spin to spin back around towards Zack, rising from a crouch raidly, with a fist aimed for Zacks jaw, and his free hand staying near his gut, ready to strike out as a block. "Rule two, don't let up. Breathing room for you is breathing room for your opponent!"

It seemed his opponent really wasn't going to let up and was a lot more agile and acrobatic than Zack had first guessed. It was a rather unique movement and the initial style caught Zack off guard and he took a powerful kick to the arm. However, he was smart enough to go with the momentum of the kick and once more threw himself to the side, reducing the impact slightly, and flipped up with another cartwheel. He had only just got to his feet again when the man came spinning at him again. This time Zack was ready and merely went into a series of back flips along the ground avoiding the blows narrowly. He could of gone faster, but there was no need to go all out. Not yet.
It looked like he was being forced back and in a way he was, but it was also a way to gauge his opponent's strength. Speed and acrobatics were high meaning Zack's high speed style was probably quite suitable. "Don't give them breathing room huh? Ok if you say so." he said as this time he just fell straight backwards to avoid the punch and then turned it into a roll before seemingly springing back towards his opponent low to the ground. As he did so he launched a flurry of powerful punches aimed at seemingly random places on his opponent's body. However, when he launched his punches he rotated his arms slightly giving them a slight drilling effect. It was a move he had learned off an iron dragon slayer and it added a significant amount of power. He landed in a crouch at then going for a double palm strike at chest height.

Akryn easily avoided the punches by slipping side to side around them, usually bending at the knees or waist and taking slight steps. Zack was fast. Faster than this. With a frown, Akryn met the double palm strike with his own open hands, stopping the blow cold and fixing Zack with a look of utter disdain. "You are holding back. By doing so you open yourself up to your enemies, and stunt the growth of your allies." Akryn said before shoving away from Zack and turning towards the rest of the group, stalking towards them with a deep frown. Zack had offended him, very much so, by holding back. True, none of them knew what he was fully capable of. He had kept his master, a dragon, a very closely guarded secret and no one knew that it had been one of the great beasts that had raised and trained him. Akryn was made of significantly tougher stuff than most. And he had truly thought that, even keeping secret his training and full skill, that he had done well to impress his peers.
"NEXT!" Akryn barked, sliding one foot before the other and rising to his tip toes, arms extended out wide. He would look extremely vulnerable in this position but in reality, he was far from so. He called this his dragon guard, and it was one of his mightiest stances. Whoever attacked him next was in trouble.

Zack was impressed that this ally had managed to dodge the punches and even catch the double palm strike head on. "You think I hold back against you out of disrespect? To insult you?" Zack said with a note of irritation to his voice. A slight snarl of anger. "If that is all you think of me then it seems you don't understand me at all." he slammed his fist into the ground causing a large crater to form and the ground to shake all around the arena. "I hold back to gauge your strength so that not only can I learn from you, but so that I can learn your strengths and weaknesses. The longer the fight lasts the more I learn so holding back was my way of saying I respect you enough to want to get the most out of the fight." With that he walked past his sword and pulled it out of the ground and sheathed it. "But if you feel I am 'stunting your growth' then I will leave."
With that he began to walk away. It seemed his coming had been a waste of time. It was a shame really. He had just been beginning to enjoy himself. It seemed Akryn had skill, speed and power. Three things he respected quite a bit. However, what he didn't respect was Akryn's lack of understanding about others. It was one thing being proud of your skills. It was another thinking that your way was the only way. "Ninpou: Manto." he said and seemed to fade away into a shimmer of light. In reality he had just gone invisible, but also compressed his magic power as much as possible allowing him to stay and watch without them knowing. Akeya and Ayeseru could probably detect him. Akeya because of her dragon self and Ayeseru because he had a high level of sensory and on top of that he knew Zack's aura well enough to detect even small traces of it.

Natalia watched the fight with quite a bit of worry, she wasn't aware that sparing matches were going on today. The match was going by so fast that it became hard to follow causing Natalia to get dizzy only to have something knock sense back into her. "Snap out of it, he's about to do something!" It announced inside her head a little to late as Zack hit the ground causing the entire courtyard to shake and also causing Natalia to fall over quite suddenly.
After regaining her composure she stood back up to observe the destruction left in Zack's wake, he had vanished by now leaving Natalia confused, maybe he wasn't in the mood to hang around anymore. Natalia took a look at her cupcakes to make sure they were fine, sighing a sigh of relief when she noticed that it was only a little bit of icing that got messed up but otherwise they were untouched. Deciding it was best not to remain standing with people this powerful around she turned to go take a seat on the side lines. It was at this moment that she detected something as two snowflakes fell only to hit Zack on the nose and shoulder making her turn in that direction a little confused, there was nothing there yet the snowflakes made contact and relayed what had happened to them back to her. Taking a single step in that direction she started to get a sick feeling in her stomach and covered her mouth as a violent series of coughs ensued which resulted in her magic power going haywire as a thin coat of frost covered the corner of the courtyard she was in. "You're pushing yourself to hard, try turning your sensory off for once, it's no use to you in this condition."The voice told her and she complied stabilizing herself for the time being, though it would probably take a while for the frost to melt away. She returned to her previous task of taking a seat on the side lines and placed her cupcakes down beside her, it was at this point that a thin trail of blood seeped out of the corner of her mouth.

As the fight went on Akeya's glare became more focused, her slit pupils following the movements of both combatants. It was clear that when it came to actual strength and speed Zack was not using his full potential: his reputation made it clear this couldn't be his limit, and once you knew what to look for it was also easy to notice it from the way he was moving. Akryn meanwhile seemed to be putting a bit more effort into it, although he as well wasn't going all out. Not being allowed to use magic probably also had its effects.
When Akryn eventually had enough of fighting Zack, citing the reason of Zack not going all out, Akeya sighed and slowly uncurled her tail, planting her feet on the ground while her tail returned to its usual position behind her. She did so just in time to receive Zack's earth-shaking strike against the ground with her feet, making her hesitate before firmly planting her feet, her wings and tail moving to help her keep her balance. The half dragon watched the Ace walk away, blinking when he became invisible, at least for the normal eye. Her blindfold allowed Akeya to see him, noting that he was planning to stay and watch, albeit without being watched himself.
Shaking off the chill that had formed with Natalia's presence (not yet enough to actually cause discomfort, especially when compared to winter up in the mountains) the winged ninja stepped forward, until she was standing a couple of yards before Akryn. Wordlessly she bowed, then took on a stance, rather similar to the one Akryn had been using before, although somewhat loser and accompanied with a bending of the knees. Her tail stopped its swaying, instead curling around Akeya's waist to point at Akryn from underneath the half dragon's left arm (the extended one), her wings completely folded up to not get in the way. For now Akeya didn't move, but Akryn would feel the familiar sensation of being the sole focus of the half dragon's glare from behind her cloth mask, inspecting him with an almost scary intensity.
Akryn would either have to make the first move, or somehow encourage Akeya to go on the offensive.

Akryn sighed as Zack punched the ground and stormed off. Zack could not understand his frustration. Akryn was used to punching, and getting smacked by, a dragon. Still, he couldn't blame Zack either. He himself had been holding back a bit as well, and it wasn't fair of him to admonish Zack, when he had done the same. He stopped when he noticed Natalia chilling the room, and when he noticed the blood from her cough he quicklyleft the battle field, pulling a small white cloth from his pocket and offering it to her. "Are you alright? Come see me after this, please. Coughing up blood is, in my experience, only rarely a good thing." He said before smiling to her and returning to the battle field, where Akeya now awaited.
Akryn looked at her and knew instantly, he was in trouble. She was a half dragon, and trained by a dragon, like he was. The difference was, the style had been created FOR half dragons, and favored them, with ther tails and wings, over humans. "I see you haven't forgotten much of anything the dragon kind taught you. Your wings and tail make your stance near flawless, to flawless for me to penetrate without help. However, Thorsfell taught me a counter to this." He said with a smirk, before slowly folding his legs underneath him. In a matter of seconds, Akryn now sat on his knees, with his heels under his rump, legs closed, with his hands on his thighs, finger tips near his knees and hands open, and back perfectly straight, his eyes fixed on Akeya, as he fixed her with a glare that any dragon would be proud of. "I must admit my fault. I admonished Zack for holding back, even as I did so myself. I must apologize to him later. But he has little to learn, or grow, from me. You on the other hand, Akeya, have much to learn, and can grow immensely. I will not be holding back on you." He said as he sat there, in a seemingly wide open position.

Akeya could do naught but wait as Akryn first went over to the snow girl, who apparently was experiencing some more difficulties than the half dragon had suspected. The reason why the courtyard was chillier than before was, naturally, because of Natalia, but rather than a simple lack of control the white-haired female looked like she was suffering from something. Looking at her Akeya frowned briefly, but otherwise made no motion to help, instead just waiting for the trainer to return to his post. He was right that when one expelled blood while coughing it was worrying, but quite frankly it wasn't Akeya's job to look after Natalia, and the fact that she was here indicated that whatever ailed her was not threatening enough to confine her to her room. If she was supposed to be in her room, but left anyway, then she was risking her own health, making it her own responsibility. Well, her and her caretakers, if any had been assigned to her.
When Akryn returned to his position in the middle of the courtyard Akeya nodded, waiting for him to take on his pose or to attack her. Either way, her eyes were focused on him as he talked, although when he mentioned the training received from dragons she blinked. The way he talked heavily implied that he had also received training from a dragon. That would make things more difficult, although the winged ninja was more intrigued than worried. Well, she could ask him about it afterwards. Now she had to focus on the fight. Akryn was right that she still had much to learn, but that didn't mean that she wasn't going to do her best to teach him the same as well. Her pride demanded no less.
His stance, however, was puzzling. It looked like one of the worst positions one could have at the beginning of a fight: the legs were trapped underneath his body, and his range was heavily limited until he managed to unfold himself. Of course, it was likely that whoever had invented that pose had intentionally made it look as weak and open as this. So she had to be careful. She couldn't figure out what kind of fighting style he would use while in that stance, so she had to make a guess, and that guess was that whatever that stance was for, it focused on attacks from the front and above. If he had strong enough legs he could unfold himself rather quickly, and he did say that it was a technique developed against half dragons with wings, so being able to defend against attacks from above was a given. However it didn't look like he would be able to react as quickly to an attack from the sides.
Suddenly applying more pressure on the ground with her cloth-wrapped feet Akeya dashed forward, straight at Akryn, her wings unfurling and her tail trailing behind her. Before she actually reached him, however, she did several things: the first act was that she dashed to Akryn's right (from his point of view), deftly circling around him to come at him from his side. The second act was that once she had changed her direction of approach she flapped her wings powerfully, slowing down her own momentum, throwing a gust of wind at Akryn in an attempt to throw him off balance while also hiding most of Akeya from his view (which combined well with her having altered the speed of her approach). The third act followed up after she was no longer being slowed down by the effects of the second, where she firmly planted her left foot on the ground before her, then spun around on that foot, her other leg and her tail swirling around the rest of her body, her tail flying straight at the back of Akryn's head while the heel of her foot would smash into his back if he didn't react in time. It wasn't the most perfect of attacks, but it should serve as a nice way to start the fight.

Akeya would hit nothing but her own wind, as Akryn disappeared. At the last moment, he curled his body and threw it to the side, pushing off with his right foot to roll to the left, right back into his seated stance once more. Likely, using his leg and foot at that odd angle had hurt, but he was showing no signs of it. In fact, one would think he had not moved at all. If not for his right hand now raised up into the air, hand open and fingers closed, though he still continued to stare straight forward. "The wind was an excellent technique, but predictable. Next time, try attacking from above. You have maneuverability that most humans dream of, and very few are used to dealing with. Again."

Akeya frowned as Akryn managed to dodge her assault quite nimbly, in fact making it look as if it was the easiest thing in the world. However the way he had moved wasn't one most people could imitate without some difficulty (or at least without causing harm to themselves in the process), so he was either hiding the drawbacks of dodging like that, or that trick was a bit more difficult than he made it look like. Either way, it meant that they were back to square one, except now Akryn knew something about her attack style, and she knew something about his ability to dodge.
After her foot and tail hadn't hit a single thing the half dragon planted both her feet once again on the ground, taking on the stance she had been using while waiting for Akryn to attack, all her focus on the man sitting in front of her as she considered her next step. She had heard him tell Zack to keep on the offensive, to deny the opponent breathing space, but this fight was a lot different from what Akryn had been doing with the Ace. Their fight had been aggression on both sides. This fight was at a slower pace, with more focus on actual technique and strategy. The goal here wasn't beating the other up as quickly as possible. Besides, his comment regarding attacking from above required some thought.
He was right that with her wings and tail Akeya could use methods of approach most humans couldn't copy, and that they also would have trouble defending themselves against such a rare advantage. However he was clearly one of those who did know how to deal with it, in which case trying to treat him like a normal opponent would be foolish. On the other hand, he could be anticipating that train of thought... After a couple of seconds of consideration Akeya shrugged, and took an even lower stance while her wings unfurled. In a normal fight doing what the opponent told you to do would be foolish. However right now Akryn was taking on the role of the teacher, so he probably was going somewhere with this, and while this was a match it was also a training session. Unless, of course, he was going to pull some trick like saying 'don't take your opponent's advice' but Akeya hoped he respected her intelligence a bit more than that.
Suddenly dashing forward Akeya flapped her wings and jumped upwards mid-dash, spinning around her horizontal axis as she stretched one leg and her tail out, intending to once again smash both tail and her heel into Akryn's head and back, albeit now from directly above rather than the side.

Akryn smiled as Akeya swooped in, responding by bending forward, so that her heel and tail whooshed harmlessly over his head, with him quickly righting himself afterwards, his hands together in front of him and a smile on his face. He was indeed taking much more the roll of a mentor now, instead of an opponent, like he had with Zack. "There we go, excellent! Another opponent would have suffered a nice blow from that attack. A good follow up, especially against a dodge like the one I just used, is to continue your spin and bring your other leg around, lower this time. If an opponent ducks, odds are he will have much more trouble avoiding a lower attack. Also, using your wings to buffet your opponent can disorient and distract them, opening them up for another strike." He said, before bowing to her from his kneeling position. "Work on your attack speed and acrobatics t give you an edge over your opponents. Remember your anatomy, and use it. Now, would you like to go again, or give someone else a go?"

Chesuke walked into the Blue Pegasus headquarters. It was his first time there since being accepted into the guild. As he entered the large courtyard as he explored his me home. "The makers of legends" he thought to himself, "I made it". Casually, he flicked his hair out of his piercing green eyes, then adjusted his opened button-down shirt so his guild mark showed on his left hip above his low jeans. His entire look accentuated his toned build, and he knew he was flaunting his good looks. He smiled to himself before noticing the crowd and the brawl in the center of the courtyard. Unsure what was happening, Chesuke decided to stand by and watch the spectacle.

When Akryn once again dodged her attack with seemingly minimal effort Akeya placed her two feet on the ground once more after having taken a step back, returning to the fighting stance she had taken on at the beginning of the match. She could have continued the assault, but seeing the nature of the fight, and the fact that her sparring partner had something to say, she felt it better to disengage for now. Hearing what Akryn had to say the half dragon nodded, still keeping her eyes trained on him. What he said made sense, although Akeya herself had already demonstrated her knowledge regarding the use of creating gusts of winds with her wings. At the offer to either continue or let somebody else have the opportunity the winged ninja shrugged, still in a fighting stance.
"Depends if any of the other want a round. If so, I will join the spectators."
She looked around at the people who were standing or sitting around them, until she noticed that there was somebody there who hadn't been there when she had stepped up to Akryn. He looked around her age, and it was clear that he took great pride in his appearance and looked after it, if his choice of clothing and general build was anything to go by. Akeya glared at Chesuke through her blindfold for a couple of seconds before turning back to Akryn, finally letting go of her fighting stance as she instead waited to see if there was anybody else who wanted to have a round.

The two in the center stopped fighting almost without warning. after a brief dialogue, it became apparent to Chesuke that it was a training match that everyone was participating in. The woman dropped her aggressive stance and looked at Chesuke. It was a bit unnerving having someone looking at him through a blindfold, but it made sense that someone of her rank could sense magical energy as easily as with sight.
Her staring made Chesuke slightly nervous, I hope she doesn't get the wrong idea, he thought to himself, I'd better do something quickly.
Stepping forward, Chesuke made his way toward the centre of the circle. "I could certainly use use training. My name is Chesuke Hikaru, and i'm new to Blue Pegasus. I'm definitely looking forward to joining the rest of you as a powerful wizard." Flicking his hair out of his piercing green eyes, he turned from introducing himself to his new family to the man that seemed to be hosting the training. "Am I correct in assuming this is to be strictly hand-to-hand, no magic involved?"
