Name: Juan Rose
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Birthday: November 2
Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics: She has lifeless black eyes. Just one look at her eyes can tell that they are dead. This is mostly because her father replaced her real eyues with that of her mother's.
Personality: Juan, a sixteen year old girl born as the daughter of an old and famous doll maker was, at one time, a very bright and cheerful girl. Even the tiniest of her smiles used to light up even the coldest and darkest of places in one's heart. In fact, at the age of five, the girl used to have a lot of people complimenting her for her doll like appearance and heartwarming smile. Her eyes, bright amber ones, in one of her father's friend's words, were like two pools of warm fire that had the ability to melt anyone's barrier. The golden haired girl used to love being of use to others too. She helped anyone, even her servants when they needed it the most without holding back. Because of this, the small girl was adored by everyone in her mansion. She was an angel, for lack of a better word. Every little action of hers had a touch of kindness to it. It attracted everyone. Even danger.
After escaping from her own father who was trying to make her into a doll, Juan's personality took a drastic change. The twelve year old girl finally tasted what it was like to have no one beside her. She slowly changed her ideals and view on the world around her. After that, Juan used the money from her inheritance to travel around the world, taking in the good and bad experiences she had. Soon, she started hating the species named human, even despising herself for being one. She learned that the world wasn't as good as it was in the fairy tales her mother used to read to her. She even felt pity to the ones upholding the view that "this world can change".
Finally, she started shutting herself off from others. She smiled no more and then, in place of her bright amber eyes, the coal black eyes her father gave her gave off a coldness unlike any other. In short, Juan finally became a living breathing doll. A doll that showed no emotion to anyone. A doll that no longer felt sadness or happiness. She rarely spoke, let alone look at other people. She ignored them like plague, having lost her trust on all of them through her father. However, deep in her heart, she still remained kind or at least there was still a small glimmer of light in her heart. Despite hating people, Juan's attitude towards animals and children stayed the same.
One specific character of Juan is the fact that she hates fights. She tries to avoid it as much as possible and would not enter battle unless she has a strong reason to. However, when she does decide to fight.....Even inside battle, Juan showed little expression. Instead, she puts her stoic and indifferent attitude to calculate the best possibility before attacking. Her biggest advantage is the fact that even if she was scared or surprised, she would never show it in her eyes. Her aura stays calm and that's one of the best things about her fighting style. That aside, Juan also uses her natural abilities like photographic memory to good use inside a battle. If she had seen it, she would never forget it.
Likes:
Silence: For Juan, her favorite place to be would be somewhere quiet with very less people to pollute the space around her with noise.
Books: Even though Juan doesn't believe in her mother's fairy tales anymore, she does enjoy the company of a good book. Especially books on action and strategy.
Animals: She likes animals for their loyalty. At least they won't betray her.
Children: Their innocence warms Juan's heart and so she likes their company even when they get noisy.
Dislikes:
Crowd: Juan simply hates huge crowds. She would rather be alone somewhere with a book.
Cheerful/Stupid people: She simply can't stand people who are way too cheerful for their own good. They irritate the hell out of her with their naive ways of thinking.
Idea of Romance: If the romance story of her father and mother was anything to go by, Juan absolutely hates the idea of romance and relationships, having lost her trust in people a long time ago.
Sycophants: This is mostly out of her own experience with many of them. People who praise her, especially for her features, are always hated by Juan.
Motivations:
To learn: Juan likes to learn new things all the time. This is also why she spent a long time in traveling Fiore and beyond.
Hope: A small part of her still hopes that she would one day be able to return to the girl she once was. She would never admit it out loud though.
To live: She wants to live. It's as simple as that. She believes her life isn't something she would offer to death easily.
Fears:
Death: Juan fears death after having ran into it and escaping barely. She wishes to live her life as long as she can and die naturally.
Dark places: Juan's fear of dark places began when she woke up in her father's workshop without her eyes.
Dolls: This is also because her mentally unstable father had tried to turn her into the "perfect doll".
General Appearance
Height: 5'2
Weight: 42Kg
Hair: Her hair once used to be golden and wavy. Now, her hair is black and straight, reaching down past her waist and to her ankles. They are usually framing her small and pale body, giving her the appearance of a real doll.
Eyes: They used to be warm amber ones. Now, they are cold and lifeless black ones.
Skin Tone: She is very pale yet there is some traces of pink, showing she is indeed a living being.
Appearance: Juan is very small for a sixteen year old girl. It is easy to mistake her for a real doll thanks to her expressionless face too. Her father, in his queer hunger to create a perfect doll had replaced her natural golden hair and amber eyes with very dark almost liquid black hair and eyes that originally belonged to her mother through magic. Now, she posses black hair that can be compared to the night itself and eyes that resembles that of the dead.
