"Wanted: Jacob Goodnight" [Job/Solo]

Today Roya had set herself on a more ‘exciting’ task… or something certainly better than babysitting. She had come to Hargeon I hope to catch a killer… not that she had any intentions to serer justice… It was just a pretty hefty reward under her standards!  The sun was now at its highest, hottest point… Roya had been scrounging around for this killer all morning… She thought that that she would of gotten herself into more action by now… instead she was left checking every odd, shady, and criminal infested knew Hargeon kept between its crevasses. The town certainly wasn’t crime free, Roya knew that.

It wasn’t until she checked the very last place on her mind that she had spotted him. Roya had descended beneath the famous Hargeon docks themselves. It was there that she found Jacob, crouched over something with his sharp butchering tools like a hermit… Or like a butcher, considering the was a gutted body spawned out before him. Jeez… this guy really was creepy, cutting  item of focus was a corpse; its insides in the process of being gutted… the sight was one best left undescribed. Did the fresh meat dare approach or speak to her target? Well yes, This was Roya after all… She had guts, but would she keep them after this job?

“You know I’m just like you buddy, a killer… ‘cept I don’t get caught on the job or prod at fleshy dead bodies, that’s a tad creepy friend,” Roya merely taunted. A sly and confident smirk met her visage, tugging up the corner of her lip. Jacob Goodnight stood up with that. The murder turned to her slowly, his reply merely a deep grunt. Roya whistled with detest. “You’re uglier than they say, buddy.” Roya continued her teasing, for she never trusted herself with the first move. Roya felt no magic wafting out of the guys body, not even a trickle…certainly he wasn’t a mage… but Roya was… this would be a lot easier than she th—

Then she thought---….that’s what she was thinking... This would be a lot easier than she thought… Roya had let her guard down knowing thinking she had the absolute advantage…. Now that meat hook had swung from a strikingly long change. Now.. That hook had ripped into grappled her stomach. Roya yelped at this, her knees trembled beneath her. She felt frozen, paralyzed with physical shock. Well, all until Jacob got her moving again. With a rough tug of the chain the handicapped mage was lurched in his direction. ‘F-Fuck..” she screamed this in her head as she stumbled in his direction against the chain, she had to think fast!! Like—Now!!

Yes, it hurt like hell but the raven haired mage lurched herself back against the hook tearing into her, digging her heels into the dampened earth of the battle ground. “S-Sinners…” She grunted the word between her teeth, gripping her fist, a ember of white fire sparked above her temple. That grip of hers increased, as she raised that fist to the chain leashing her to the hook, “Burning knuckle!...” With this her hand erupted in a conflagration of snow colored flame, the metal melting in her hands to free her. Almost immediately after the chain was separated from her Roya buried that fist of hers in her wound to tear out that bloody meat hook.

Jacob seemed to be stunned by her actions, glancing down at his burned link of chains. Good, he best stay put for a minute… Roya needed a second herself to get this thing out… after jamming hoer hand around the wound she evidentially, deep within her flesh, located that that thy, rusty….bloody hook… She dried to loosen that thing with her fingers, lead it out but to no avail. It hurt…She had tried so hard to never get hurt, yet this asshole had brought the sensation back with a god damn piece of metal.


Pain was something you never really got away from it… even if you did run miles through desirieto wasteland to escape you still keep the memories of your pain. Memories of the nights your father would pry any money you had to go out and get shitfaced… stumble home angry and rambling and violent, Memories of being ordered to strip in front of your dad, having to listen to him beat and rape your mother in the other room later that night.

With a massive bloody tug she finally ripped the thing out. She tossed it from her hands to let it disappear somewhere amid the dirt ground. This guy was dead meat. Roya hoped and shifted her weight back. She crouched and sprung into her knees to propel herself towards the wanted man. Midflight she spun her right leg outwards, left curling under her as her kicking leg combusted into those white legs before. That flaming kick evidentially connected, smacking right across Jacob’s face to send him tumbling for the ground.  Now, the woman strode over the awkward criminal, shadows covered her face, expression backlit by the small fire by Jacob’s camp. How dare he wound her and remind her how pain felt.

The flame mage planted a sandaled heel across the mad man’s chest, pinning him into the soil between her gravity. “Last words, you butchering piece of trash?” She said this simply, powerfully. She was in control; she wielded the blade, and kept this monster pinned to his deathbed just as it should have been.

Not a word, he had always been quiet from what she had heard, in the end guess that made the difference even in the end. The woman unsheathed that katana from the sheath strapped to that bandaged stub of hers. She twirled it between her fingers by the hilt, admiring the way it shimmered/ it without so much as a warning she gave that weapon a powered and murderous slash. Blood spurt across her closes as the blade sliced right through him, loping his head right off his shoulders.
