The silent breeze danced through the air as a petite figure stood in the middle on the woods, staring at something that lay before her. These woods that she stood in were known to many as the spooky forest. As the name suggests, the forest is known for its sinister atmosphere and the eerie feeling that lingers in the air. The juvenile female gazed upon the stair case with her purple orbs. A staircase which she knew nothing about until now.

This forest was filled with mysteries, most of which terrorized people to a point that they were afraid to even speak of this dreadful place. The female; known by her name, Riley, being brave, yet foolish, occasionally visited this place; sometimes frightened, other times, because of curiosity. Riley had faced many dangers in this place and each time vowed to never return, but for some reason of the other, her vow breaks. The black-haired female visibly gulped as the wind picked up its pace.

A nervous sigh escaped her pink and slightly dried lips as her black boot touched the solid ground in between all the dirty soil. The  staircase led to somewhere beneath the scary plantation. "The surface is daunting enough." Her left hand clutched a piece of paper which she had received earlier that morning.

That white sheet was the very reason of her presence to this bizarre setting. The wind speed changed drastically as the young dragon slayer clutched and opened her hand repeatedly. She was nervous, but a sense of excitement bubbled up inside her. She moved her head to the side, "Let's go." She said to the brown haired boy that stood beside her. With that, she descended down the staircase.

    Let's Destroy
    This Dungeon!
Together, together, me foes I will not tell them. No matter what they did to me, I plan to make it history.

That was him, the one with the same letter to slay the beasts that lie at the bottom of the staircases. The boy was sure that he would be able to continue this without taking much damage, especially with the Ice Dragon Slayer by his side. On his other side was the She-Phoenix herself, his all time ally, not once has she been out from a job. This request promised to pay well, and all they had to do was... Go through the stairs? There was always more to these sorts of requests, the boy was willing to accept that. He was also willing to accept a heavy jewel reward by the end of this. And just like that, he realized that he was beginning to pick up on Ignite's money-loving personality. The violinists grin went neutral when he realized this, being more like the She-Phoenix? That thought itself pained him already, then again, it could be much worse.

This time, Elyx looked like an actual survivor, even the way he got dressed in the morning felt like an adventure. The first thing for the boy to do is grab a pair of pants. He got a long, acid blue pair of jeans, nothing too skinny since he knew that he would need the movement, and tight pants cut off his movement in an instant. The jeans were also placed and wrapped with a nice white belt as well to keep his pants from falling off once it begins to hold things. The first thing that Elyx placed on both sides of his pants were his two sword sheathes, in which he holds some rather light weapons, but any weapon alone can make the pants fall. These two weapons were Knight Iris and Mystic Knight Iris. Once he clicked the sheathes in place, he looked over to his armory and clicked open the lock in order to pull out both blades. There was a mirror right there, and the boy could not help but laugh since he looked like a survivor of the end of the world, ready for combat with his swords, but he did not even have a shirt on due to the extreme weather and the lack of movement that his jacket would provide. A few battle scars would be nice to help enhance the look, but other than that, the boy would have to just deal with it as it is. The next thing Elyx added onto his set of moves was the shirt itself, a white T-Shirt with no special features, this was to keep his body cool since he was planning to wear a jacket. It was not cold or anything, at least, it was not a cold day in Black Rose once the boy got used to the weather system or anything, but the boy liked to keep his jacket since that is where the items are located. To somewhat help his case, the jacket was white as well, so it was not going to burn him to a crisp like some other wares might be able to do. Once he zipped the jacket up to the right amount, about halfway up his chest, he looked at how his hair was. An utter mess as usual when someone were to get up in the morning. Well, it was not like there were many clients to see today. Kakuma did not like to think of herself as a higher power over anyone, she tried to make things as democratic as possible, giving everyone a fair choice and answer for the guild. That is one of the reasons why the guild is neutral. The other though... In which Elyx can be associated with dark wizards and possibly get blamed for their actions, that was not exactly the most lighthearted of thoughts. The final piece of equipment he placed onto his body was Leviathan Iris Armor, the armor designed to somewhat limit his movement for an exchange of amazing amounts of defensives and an okay amount of healing power. Cassie could help him with the defenses, but the fact that he had this option as well was amazing. This was how Elyx saw it. This was how he saw it. With Cassies Overshield ability, she was able to block almost double of what Leviathan Iris can. Now, with Leviathan Iris, that would be about five hits before actually getting to Elyx. There was some sort of other defense that he remembered that he could use to set it up to around 7 or 8, but that did not seem to be coming to his mind right now.

It seems you got the same letter huh... Isn't that right, Riley. Elyx said as the both of them began to walk side by side through the stairs, the boy smiled as he then remembered the time that he dueled against the Ice Slayer Dragon, the they had to stop the weird case of flying brooms. Those were the days, and now, the both of them were going to enter a dungeon... Oh what fun that would be. Well, more hectic rather, but then again, so was every job that he and Ignite went on anyways.

Lifeless. The first word that made its way into the females head as she stared at the nothingness of this dark pit. It was pitch black, the trees refusing to granting permission to the light that wanted to peek through the dead leaves and into the dark area. The black-haired girl slowly stepped down the stairs, in order to avoid her-clumsy-self from tripping. It was halfway through the staircase that the female realized something.

Her face instantly brightened up at the thought of  not making a fool out of herself. Her small hand dug into the navy-blue shorts that she had on. Her puny hand felt something and she felt a smile dancing on her lips as she pulled out her hand. Her thumb traced over the small object until it met a bump, which she lightly pressed. The object illuminated light that fell on one entity at a time. Yes, the object was indeed a small torchlight that she undoubtedly carried around after that one mission where is was rather useful.

The pair of purple orbs were now able to see the stairs that she descended down to and lead the way. As soon as her foot touched the bottom of the staircase, a row of light lit up the dark area, leading down in a line. The light came from dimly lit torches that  sat on the wall and lit up when with a touch.

Riley would be lying if she said that she wasn't frightened by that but she just nervously laughed it off. She looked at Elyx, the familiar boy whom she had encountered a couple of times until now. "So what do we do now?" Her loud voice echoed through the eerie place as her eyes widened and she unwillingly shuddered. "Not so loud, you idiot." She let out a sheepish chuckle which displayed a hint of nervousness as she lowered her voice into a small whisper, "Hehe. Sorry. What do we do now?" She repeated her question.

It looks dark and dangerous Elyx... Are you sure you wanna do this? Ignite asked as she tilted her head to the side. Her arms were crossed below her chest, letting them rest, almost letting the elbows hang down a little. Her orange eyes shined in the dark area, her fire would be able to guide them whenever they needed to see something. It's not like they would be traveling blind. Even if they were, Elyx had enough awareness to use his senses to get around. His secondary magic would be able to help him sense enemies using the effect of Wind-Make Warning, he would be able to sense enemies even quicker. If he were to enter his secondary magic form, he would be able to speed his way through the dungeon. He brought a lot of firepower here, but then again, he has no idea how much power this dungeon would bring with it. That is where Riley came, he has not heard of her much as he used to remember himself hearing about her. This was probably Ignite's fault due to the fact that she was the one who took him on so many jobs. He could not say that he was mad though, she was able to get him to a Rising Star sort of rank.

Elyx cracked his knuckles, but kept a level head. This was going to be fun, there is no telling what could be down there, such as duel worthy opponents. What do we do now, is that what you ask Riley? We go in and fight the monsters! The boy exclaimed, only to realize the tone of his voice and the volume as well, it was just simply asking for trouble. Ignite seemed to realize it too, she put her hand over Elyx's mouth and her other arm around his neck, almost ready to choke him. The second a monster comes here because of that yell is the second I grab a Glock and put two new holes in your nose, how's that for fighting monsters? The She-Phoenix hissed before pushing the boy forward, Elyx stumbling. After shaking his head, he understood why she did that and decided to just leave it alone for now. He went on the first step of the stepcase, then the second, then Ignite followed. The both of them were going, Ignite's body lighting up the dungeon due to her fire coming from her body. Meanwhile, Elyx looked back to Riley. Come on Riley, we can't leave you behind now can we? The boy asked as he then looked forward once again.

A drop of sweat rolled down the pale painted forehead as strands of moist black hair clung to the same skin. The temperature in vicinity wasn't warm at all, yet the female was sweating. She scooted away from the female phoenix step-by-step to make it unnoticeable, not wanting to give off the wrong impression. Although the she-phoenix was providing the two individuals with much more light that Riley's little torch possibly could, she was also radiating too much heat for the ice mage's liking.

Being someone who spends most of her time under intense cold, Riley had grown to hate even warmth. Unknowingly, she had activated one of the abilities that her magic has to offer. The temperature was slowly decreasing, letting the female feel much more comfortable and relaxed.

As the two mages walked though the long, eerie hallways that the underground that spread beneath the ghostly forest; not a sound could be heard. The silence echoed through the thick-cemented walls of the place as they were all designed to form as corridors. Many times, had the two encountered a turn which lead them to a very similar appearing hallway, often confusing the young black haired mage, making her think that they were simply moving in circles. Every inch of that long corridor was identical to the one they had crossed mere minutes ago. This indeed was a weird place, and the knowledge of the fact that they can get attacked any moment was slightly nerve-wrecking.

    Let's Destroy
    This Dungeon!
Together, together, me foes I will not tell them. No matter what they did to me, I plan to make it history.

The place they were in was just simply weird, the scenery around them was oddly similar to the last whenever they traveled, as if they were trying to go up an endless set of stairs. Elyx began to notice a pattern in these rooms, and the more that this pattern was showing, the less he wanted to continue moving forward. Naturally, not because of fear, but because he would find this to be pointless. But another pointless thing would be to leave a dungeon without gaining anything, so he continued to persist forward. He was not aware if either Ignite or Riley knew that the rooms were looping, but they had to lead somewhere eventually. There was a limited amount of matter on earth and possibly existence itself. They continued to move forward until a sudden enemy came, a small one that tried to throw an object at him. With intentions to fight, Elyx was able to sense the crystal coming from miles away with Wind-Make Warning, which allowed him to sense the Wind flows from up to 15 meters away. With Knight Iris, he deflected the crystal away from him and sent it back to the enemy. Ignite, cast out light onto the attacker. Elyx ordered to the She Phoenix. Ignite nodded her head before placing her palm out, a ball of fire revealing once again, the room being filled with light. The Violinist looked down to see a small imp with a bag in it's right hand, a crystal in it's left. It was such a sad sight, he got worked up over nothing. To punish the imp for getting him hopes up, Elyx walked over to the imp with a simple intention. The imp made an attempt to harm Elyx by throwing another crystal. The Violinist caught the jewel with his left hand, then crushed it in his hand, which would have seemed a lot cooler if he hand didn't bleed a little bit. The pain was minimal though, he lose much more than that before.

Elyx finally got to the imp before putting out his palm over the enemy and opened the hand, sending the dust of crystal down onto the imp. With that message sent, Elyx kicked the imp hard, like kicking a soccer ball. The imp was slammed against the wall with such impact, simply ending it right there. With the available yet bloody hand, Elyx picked up the bag of jewels and placed them in his pocket. He will get over that very soon, bleeding was nothing new to him. Over something minor, maybe that was the only new thing. That was nothing at all, maybe the better monsters or below this level. Lets continue moving. Elyx announced before walking once again.

Hums of footsteps echoed through the narrow vicinity. Darkness won the unspoken battle that occurred as the three individuals sauntered down the path laid out for them. Alert and ready, they advanced as the silence escalated rapidly, causing an eerie feeling to linger in the air. The sinister tranquility latched itself onto the atmosphere, refusing to let. The pair of ears, hidden behind strands of black hair, caught the commotion of silence.

Completely engaged into a battle with her own negative thoughts. the petite figure failed to acknowledge the slight echos which her ears could have caught, if only she was paying heed to the situation. Her mind was preoccupied in imagining the horrid situations they could be led to. Being a dragon slayer has its perks, and often did the female use them to her advantages but at that moment, her short attention span caused her to roughly imagine the scenarios she, along with her partners, could be put into. Inhaling the dusty oxygen that this underground tunnel had to offer, Riley failed to catch a whiff of the horrible stench that appeared within a fraction of a second.

By the time she had realized, it had revealed that her dragon slayer skills were of no use as a small shadowy figure had started launching objects towards the three individuals. Her grey gaze watched the scene unfold as she did not bother taking part in this minor skirmish. Confident that her partner, Elyx, would be able to take out the enemy, which he did, she stepped forward and sharply inhaled yet again. Her nose caught the whiff of dreadful effluvium that made her want to spew out all the food she had devoured from the morning till that very moment. Nonetheless, she continued advancing towards the direction of the stench, knowing that her partners would follow. She led the way to the monster that rested within the loop they strode in. After all, they weren't here to run away from it, but rather, to face it.
