Job: The Sunny Tower of No Return
Rank: B
Player Requirements: B-Ranked Wizard(s) or above, or 2 C-Ranked Wizards 250 word per post requirement. Thread must be at least 30 posts long.
Job Requirements: Bring home your clients daughter. Must defeat either the Sun Mages, or the Archmage of the Sun. May cause other enemies too flee until one of the two becomes available. Scale the Mystic Tower's 50 floors.
Job Location: Mystic Tower
Job Description: The Mystic Tower stands untouched and unappropriated, at large. Any who venture there never seem too return. Although mysteriously, letters still get sent home too loved ones as if they've found some new meaning in life. Your client's daughter has left for the Mystic Tower after being curious, and fell victim too this very situation. Her parents are incredibly worried about her, and have received disturbing letters in which it seems as if she's praising the sun. They want you too go there, and bring her home. Realizing the risks, they'll pay heftily for her safe return too Magnolia.
(Note: Character Names, and Boss and Enemy Names Are Up Too You)
Enemies:
Weak: Initiates of the Sun x10 (These new comers too the Order of the Sun haven't truly mastered their magic yet. A lot of them are very young and may be easily intimidated. Some are extremely bold and brazen though, and will not be dissuaded easily. They can make their fists and feet glow with sunlight too strike at their opponents, but that's about it. It takes two hits too down each initiate. They may flee if you display a level of magic that's way beyond them, likely deciding too leave the Order of the Sun all together if convinced.)
Normal: Apprentice of the Sun x5 (These young wizards are students of the Sun-Make school of the tower, and show great potential and skill already. They can augment their physical attacks, and fight with potent martial skill. They will augment their hands, arms, legs, and body with Sun-Make magic too strike you. They will also fire bolts of sunlight, that quickly emerge from their hands and smash through objects, these deal C-Ranked damage, as they are not skilled enough for the homing streams of sunlight yet. It takes four direct hits too bring each down. They may flee if you display magic above A-Rank.)
Strong: The Sun Mages x2 (These two wizards are draped in desert like attire, of gold and silver wrappings. Their Sun-Make magic is incredible. It allows them too fly at high speeds, and strike with hand-to-hand combat with amazing levels of martial arts skill. They are highly skilled fighters and attack with 4 "Damage Die" each time they attack. The sunlight that surrounds their body results in unpleasant burns if struck. They can also fire streams of sunlight that fan into the air and then home in on you. If hit, they deal B-Ranked damage. They are incredible gymnasts and will show as much when dodging, even while flying. Though they will not fly at all times. It takes 10 hits too bring each of these two down. Their attacks pierce through all darkness oriented abilities with ease.)
Boss: Archmage of the Sun (This guy is draped in insane robes, with a golden crown on top of his head, glittering constantly. He levitates around, swooping through the area and releasing incredibly powerful blasts of white hot sunlight from his hands and body. He is excellent at countering magical effects, and if he rolls a block then NO effect of your magic will get through. He is somewhat vulnerable too physical attacks, if you can get him out of the air and down too your level...and then make it past his insane Sun Magic. His palm blasts of sunlight travel at high speeds, and will home in on you. You must dodge them at the last second too evade, any failed block results in B-Ranked damage, and a very uncomfortable and painful burn on the spot. His Sun-Make magic pierces through all darkness oriented abilities without hesitation. His ultimate attack, which he will use every 5 posts results in him gathering copious amounts of sunlight into himself as he begins too shine brightly. He unleashes streams of sunlight that soar through the area and slam through nearly anything in their path. These deal A-Ranked damage and will disorient you for a few posts after being struck unless you have some form of healing magic. Any form of Healing will help you remain oriented. He takes 15 hits too topple.)

As Daiki had made her way through Magnolia to the guild hall for Fairy Tail, she had quickly reached it for once, instead of getting lost for quite some time before finding her way to the guild hall. As she had gotten to the guild hall and to the job board almost the moment she set foot in the guild hall once more, she would find a job that sounded like it would be something right up her alley. It involved going to some tower and retrieving the client's daughter, in which would allow them to bring her home. Apparently the parents had recieved disturbing letters, though she hadn't noticed if they had said anything about what the letters contained in the request, aside from something about praising the sun.
She would sigh slightly to herself before she set out and left for the meet-up spot, not knowing who she would be doing the job with, but she hoped it would be with someone who knew what they were doing. As she had arrived at the spot where the guild members could meet up, a fair enough distance away from the tower they where to go through and retrieve the daughter for the parents. She wondered what guild would be joining her in this job, though she hoped it would be another member of Fairy Tail, to be perfectly truthful. As she waited for her teammate in this job, she would cross her arms and look towards the sky, wondering what kind of resistance they would encounter in the tower.

(OOC- Taking on this request with Daiki in place of Daiko.)
"God and Demon Climb the Sunny Tower!"
Rita had been staring at a request pinned in the center of the guild request board, stalking it from her spot on the steps. Contemplating, she adjusted the cloth bandages coiling around her waist and shoulder. The mage hadn't completely recovered from the last beating she took in River Village when she encountered the bandit leader Chapel Stern, an S-ranked Iron and Lightning-Make user. Rita had narrowly survived that.
Regardless, it was killing her to sit around like this for the sake of recovering completely. If she waited around any longer someone would prance over to the request board and---- do exactly what that unfamiliar blonde girl just did and… walk off with the job... Dumbfounded, Rita watched as the stranger made her way out of the guild with the request.
The mage couldn’t let some walk off with her request like that… She was going to be the one to bring that missing girl back after all. Rita sighed… It looked like she would be running out on that job too--- In all honesty, Rita would rather take it alone, but that wasn't an option anymore and she couldn't just hand it over to the other mage.
Rita snapped her fingers once and on cue the magician’s body quickly vanished, dissipating into the air as a black smoke, trailing after the woman quietly.
--
The blonde woman now stood by herself in a field of gold colored grass which must have gone uncut for ages judging by the length of its blades... upon the horizon sat a tall Silver-stone structure; it ascended high into the air and past clouds as if it were that of a silver needle reaching out to pierce the sun.
A hand engulfed in a menacing darkness dug its way out of the earth, where Daiki’s shadow had panned out in front of her, digging its nails into the ground as the rest of its body emerged tearing the shadow matter away from her frame as she seeped out of the ground the rest of the way and stood up completely. Daiki had seen this girl before; frankly it was a notable encounter. Her hair streamed down past her waist and was tied in a low tail, her common fashion and It seemed she hadn’t elected to make any wardrobe adjustments since her last encounter with the male Daiki. Instead everything seemed to remain at its default: side-slit long skirt, loose waist hanging belt, combat boots, a black red trimmed top, and a tattered long tie running down its center.
Rita dusted herself off quickly, as if to dismiss any shadow partials from herself before gesturing to the request in the woman’s hand. “I was looking at that job ya know before you ran off with it.” Rita stated to the older girl, laying her hands at her hips. “I followed you all the way out here. Guess you’re going to have to take me with you, Miss.” She smirked.

The woman stood where she stood for a few moments before she had noticed that something, or someone, was emerging from her shadow. She blinked for a moment until she had realized who it was and that they had met on her first job ever. The job was memorable mainly due to the pepper spray and the hammer that Rita had used on her, which was only after Daiki had gotten a view of her panties. Either way, the job was a success, though now she had to deal with Rita again, though she didn't seem to know who she was. It would be fine, except that she needed to tell Rita that she is Daiki. Man, how would she react to this? She most certainly didn't know.
Daiki watched as Rita dusted herself off before having spoke, about how she was looking at the job before she had run off with it. Rita would state, putting her hands at her hips. Rita would continue on, saying that she had followed her, and that she'd have to take Rita along with her. "My apologies. And fine, the more the merrier for a job like this, huh? It'd be good to share any recognition that comes from a job like this." She said, as she offered the woman another look at the job poster.
"Also, it's been a while Rita. I-It's me, Daiki." She said, still nervous to tell anyone who had known her as a man to learn that she had become a woman. She hoped Rita wouldn't go too over the top in her reaction, though considering the last time, she also had her doubts about her own hope.

“?!” She put her hands at her skirt instinctively as heard the name come from the girl’s mouth, fearful that the wind had caught or caused the cloth to fly up this time “-Eh?! D-Daiki?” The shadow mage echoed, furrowing her brow. “W-What the hell happened to you?” questioned, trying not to laugh at his predicament and failing miserably. She quickly busted out into a laughing fest, amused with her guild mate’s predicament. “Ahahaha!! You got turned into a chick!?”
“H-Haha wow, that’s quite something.” Rita breathed, sighing and regaining her composure somewhat, recovering from the laughing frenzy. The Shadow Make mage paused, analyzing the situation to herself
“Wait--- So is this why you were being dragged around by Lea.” Rita murmured, remembering the day she had caught Lance, Lea and the Female Daiki shopping, comically sweat dropping outside the store window in the background as The cat-eared girl forced all kinds of flashy attire into the blonde’s hands.
“I probably should stop myself there, --Daiki” Rita said, hesitant to address her by the same name in this form. She looked over the tower in the distance, crossing her arms as if with intimidation. “Catching up would be nice, but we still have allot of work ahead of us after all...” She continued, moving through the field and towards the spire on the horizon, gesturing for Daiki to follow after as the trekked through the grass, its gold blades reaching as high as her knees.

Daiki groaned slightly as Rita had started laughing quite a bit after having asked what had happened to her. "It's not funny! And it's a long story..." She said, as Rita had started to stop her laughing. She seemed a bit flustered for the moment before having noticed that Rita had muttered something, though she wasn't much paying attention to it due to having become a bit flustered, due to Rita's laughing fit. She would cross her arms as she had said that she should probably stop herself there.
As Rita had spoken again, though this time she had said that it'd be nice to catch up, but there was still the entire job in front of them. "Y-you're right." She would say, nodding slightly. Daiki would follow the woman as they would start their trek through the grass and towards the tower, getting ever closer to it until they could actually enter it. As they reached the door, it seemed that there wasn't anyone on the base floor, or at least none that she could see. "Here's hoping that it won't be too hard." She said, feeling that she would be jinxing it very soon. Hopefully Rita didn't feel the same way with it, though she had almost forgotten that Rita hasn't seen her current magic, so it sure would be a surprise to see her reaction.
Daiki was a bit curious as to what everything would be like and as to how many opponents there would be, as well as to how they would fight. While she didn't much care all too much about fighting, she wished she knew how any possible opponent here would fight, just so that she would be prepared. Well, it would be shown as to how Rita's magic and Daiki's new magic would interact, considering one was Light based and the other was Shadow based, or at least that's how Daiki had remembered it to have been.

Both Rita and Daiki stepped through the doors and into the tower. Compared to the inside, the outside of the tower looked pathetic. The floor beneath the girls seemed to of been manifested by colored marble tiles. The pattern and composition of the differently colored shapes formed a picture below them, a sun. While on the walls, there seemed to be decorated by hieroglyphics and drawings of some sort. The one piece in particular which caught the shadow mages eyes was one of a village of some sort, It's civilians looking into the sky at a large gleaming yellow ball at the top of the picture, the sun “I can’t say that I didn’t expect anything weird like this, this kids apparently writing worship notes of the sun after all.” Rita stated, inspecting one of the drawings etched into the wall of the tower reaching out to touch it slowly. Just as she came in contact with it she lurched back, hot steam emitting from the hand that had brushed the wall with as if it had touched something scolding hot. A transparent orange glow quickly enveloped the walls of the room, as if she had triggered a protective barrier around the surface “S-S-Shiiiiit that’s fuc- that’s really hot.” She stammered rubbing her hand and trying not to curse, failing miserably.
It was then that an assortment of ten yellow sun magic circles rendered themselves around the room. From the spinning arcane circles emerged magic possessing figures draped in shimmering orange and red robes, concealing their features. To say the least, they didn't look friendly. Rita stood there blinking in surprise and cradling her singed hand. They totally jinxed this one…

As the two had stepped through the doors, the inside seemed to prove the outsides look to be pathetic, to say the least. As Daiki made her way a few steps in before stopping, she would soon notice that the floor had an image of a sun made by the tiles that covered the floor. She would blink for a moment before it had hit her that it must have taken a bit of money to pull all of this off, though she would look over at Rita when she started to speak. She would sigh slightly as she would look around, though as the sound of Rita speaking in pain after having touched the wall, which had caused a barrier to activate.
A moment after that had happened, ten yellow sun magic circles had appeared throughout the room, in which ten figures would emerge from them, draped in orange and red robs. "Well, it seems they don't want us here... so I guess we're in for a fight..." She said, drawing her Kusarigama. She would look over to Rita with a smirk on her face before looking back over at the robed figures that had appeared not more than a few moments prior. "Just be careful in here, Rita." She said, as one of the figured had quickly moved towards the two. Daiki quickly spun the weight of the Kusarigama, making sure not to hit herself or Rita, as the two weren't too terribly far from each other. After a moment, which had allowed the robed figure that charged at them. She would quickly send the weight flying at the man, who had little time to dodge, but wasn't quick enough to actually do so, which had caused him to get hit in the face with the weight.
The figure that had gotten hit in the face with the weight fell directly on his back from the impact and would slowly move to try and get up as he had become disoriented. "I guess they're more durable than they look..." She said, with a slight sigh.

Re: God and Demon Climb the Sunny Tower!
(OOC: Thanks for waiting, sorry I've been caught up with things lately!!!)
Rubbing the burn on her palm, Rita stared widely at the group of enemies which now filled the room. The Shadow mage blinked in the blonde’s direction, watching as she began the assault. Rita, feeling cocky, couldn't help but smirk to herself at Daiki’s comment. With a confident crack of her knuckles she examined the collection of robed enemies a second time. “Just got to give em a couple good smacks, Daiki.” She called out to the girl.
Then, two bolts of sunlight came flying at her from across the room, conjured by two of the figures. Knowing pretty much anything she would put up to defend herself would shatter after being hit by a light-based magic she ducked to the floor, projectiles darting right over her and dissipating when it hit the tower wall instead. Just as the two were preparing to fire again the youth kicked herself off the ground and flew in the direction of the apprentices, moving at speeds of 50 mph (her speed being buffed by her Halosis boots). To slow to evade the shadow mage, they were both caught by their hoods. Instead of revealing their faces, Rita smashed their heads together roughly. Both disoriented, she took advantage of the situation and kicked through the men’s robes, nailing them both where the sun didn’t shine. Holding the area between their legs they both crumpled to the ground groaning. Rita dusted her hands off at her head over towards the other eight grunts to see how the blonde was holding up.

Re: God and Demon Climb the Sunny Tower!
Daiki listened to the woman say that she should just give them a couple of good smacks. She would nod as she would watch as two bolts of sunlight had came flying at Rita, in which she would dart away from them, in which she moved faster than she had remembered, but then again, it had been quite a while. As two of the robed figures started to shoot another bolt, Rita had quickly moved to take them out by hitting a spot that would even make her wince, considering she knew the pain the two would be feeling. She would put away her Kusarigama, in which the piercing she had would glow slightly, and eight different muskets would appear around her, in which she would grab two of them at once. Firing them at the man who had charged her initially, with shots of condensed light, then towards the rest of the group, at least as much as possible. After firing three times at the man she had knocked down to knock him out, she would fire four into yet another man, knocking him out as well. She had fired the last musket at yet another robed figure before the last musket had disappeared, which would cause eight more to appear around her. "Having fun yet, Rita?" She said, grabbing two more of the muskets. She would wait for Rita to respond before continuing on with her assault on the men, in which she would probably either fire the rest of the muskets, and if they got closer, she would be hitting them with the stocks of the muskets.

I DONT REGRET MY PAST
------
“Ha. Yeah, and how about you?” She replied back at the girl across the room, confidence and wit in her tone. The shadow mage unsheathed her scythe, extending the adjustable hilt quickly as three of her foes surrounded her, standing holding position on her at each side like a triangle. She twirled the impressive weapon in her hands tauntingly, smirking. “Ayyy, Daiki mind keepin’ one of em awake for us? We’ll do a little bit of interrogation once this is through--- See if these grunts know anything about that missing girl.” She explained. Then, one in the formation, standing behind her, suddenly darted at her… thinking she was too busy running her mouth to pay attention. Rita spun around quickly, catching his sun-charged fist with the reinforced hilt of her scythe. It was then that the other two grunts jumped at her. Skillfully, she danced around their sun-powered strikes until she was out from the middle of the cluster, standing at least ten feet away. She smirked, her targets now lined up ahead of her like a bowling pins.Parrying her scythe, Rita twisted her torso and bent an arm behind her back as a dark glow began to emit from her palm. “Shadow make:… Hurricane.” A Spiral of black, shadowy, wind twirled around the mage’s hand. Quickly twisting back and sweeping her palm towards the target, she released releasing it in their direction and generating a massive dark whirlwind. Fast, but not fast enough to evade the Sun-mages were thrown around within the vortex, thrown harshly into the air, dazed. One by one they each dropped back to the ground sprawled across the floor.
