Ando is a man of action, and even more a man of words. If those words are taunts against his enemies, of course. With superior strength to most and blade skills that rival many, Ando is the quintessential warrior mage. His gruff, sometimes rude personality combines with plenty of smack talk and a big sword to create an intimidating visage. However, beneath his boasts and brags, Ando is a true man of honor. He believes in loyalty to his allies above all else, and can never enter an unfair fight. He will go so far as to arm his opponent with a blade to even the score, or wait till an enemy is sufficiently rested before battling them. This, combined with his constant competitive outlook, can cause plenty of fights among friend and foe alike. As a warrior who loves the challenge of combat, he thirsts for true battles, ones that push the limits of both combatants.

Some may see his honor as a flaw, but it has earned him many true friends and trustworthy allies along the way. Although, loyalty for Ando is a double edged sword: whether it is someone causing grievous harm to his friends, or one of these trusted allies betraying him, Ando cannot rest until he gets his revenge. This has driven him to some darker places in life, but he can be driven out of it by a good friend or finally achieving his vengeance.

All in all, Ando is a good man at heart who thirsts for honorable combat and strives to aid those he cares about. Whether that may get him into trouble is another matter entirely!

When it comes to combat, Ando's blade is as sharp as his words, and his strikes as strong as his loyalty. Wielding a large, menacing blade and commanding magic is a deadly combination, and Ando intends to show why. Without magic, Ando is a competent swordsman who relies on calculated swings and plenty of strength instead of a flurry of quick strikes. Utilizing his bulk, he's even been known to tackle and bash into foes when needed, believing in his pure strength.

Of course, that was without magic. When using magic, the sword becomes a focus. Almost every spell Ando commands either goes into, out of, or through his blade. Whether it be an elemental attunement bolstering his weapon or a massive shockwave firing out of the edge of thec blade, all of it goes through the sword. That being said, Ando CAN fight without his blade, just... not as effectively. His spell pool becomes limited and his fists become the weapons. If one truly wished to defeat Ando, they just need to disarm him, although doing so dishonorably will only further strengthen his determination to win.

Since Ando speaks highly of himself in combat, his actions fit the image he paints. Ando always has an idea of what HE should do next in battle, and sticks to it. If someone orders him or he must order someone else, the words are usually lost, since Ando stubbornly sticks to his inital plans. In the end, Ando may not follow orders well, and his blade may be his main way of combat, but he's a powerful fighter with a wily selection of moves, who's determine to win any (fair, honorable) fight no matter what.

Likes:

• Any sort of competition! Ando is incredibly competitive by nature, whether it comes to simple games or massive brawls.
  
• Beaches are always a delight! The glowing sun, the hot sands, the chance to show off his physique (and admire other people's physiques!)... there's nothing bad about a trip to the beach!
  
• Dogs! Ando grew up with a dog in the family, and loved him dearly. Even with his rough and tough attitude, he simply melts at the sight of an adorable little pup.
  

Dislikes:

• Dishonorable, unfair fights are the worst thing to a warrior like Ando. He fights for the competition, for the fair man to man challenge. Ruining that with any sort of cheats or despicable tactics is a big no-no!
  
• Cold places! Ando never did well in the cold, and his choice of magic abilities didn't help him there. He can't seem to focus in cold places, always shivering and trying to heat up.
  
• Soup is disgusting! At least, that's what Ando thinks. Why would you eat a food that's liquid? You DRINK liquids, you don't eat them! It's just illogical! This dislike may stem from his childhood, but it's hard to ask him about it without his eyes filling with rage and a rant starting up.
  

Motivations:

• A sense of honor among combatants in the field of battle. Ando sees combat as a competition and a respected pass time, just as his parents did before him. He intends to spread this sentiment onward, whether it be to friends or his eventual next of kin.
  
• A drive to become a stronger warrior, whether it be as a mage or a swordsman! Ando desires his strength to be known far and wide, and always strives to improve himself. The day his power can exceed that of his parents is the day he may rest... but only for a moment!
  
• Find the blade of his ancestors, the Blade of Ashes, and restore it to it's proper glory. Long ago, his grandmother was forced to abandon the family sword, the Blade of Ashes, during an attack on the town she was in. When she returned, vagrants had picked the rubble clean. The Blade of Ashes still floats around these lands to this day, or at least Ando hopes it does. He must recover it, to bring honor to his family line once again!
  

Fears:

• Insects! They're just disgusting... need I say more?
  
• Letting his allies down in combat is a big fear of Ando's. Combat and honor are important to him, and honor among close friends is included. Letting down those that he has sworn to aid is a big blow to his honor.
  
• Breaking his sword! Without a sword, Ando's fighting ability is severely limited. Because of this, Ando gets quite attached to his sword(s)! Breaking one would be like losing a beloved pet for the swordsman.

Appearance: Ando is a very fit man, with his thin purple shirt easily showing off how muscular and toned he is. His legs are equally toned, and he has a rugged face to match. Along with the horizontal scar across his nose, he has a small goatee that matches his hair in color. A purple headband strapped onto his head pushes back his relatively long hair, leaving it to sweep back and downwards. Ando tends to stand tall with his arms folded, or with his fists against his hips in a heroic pose when boasting.

Along with his thin purple t-shirt, he has a set of leather shoulder guards with a shirt collar attaching them both together. His left sleeve is shorter, reaching up to his armpit, while the other sleeve goes down his arm only a little more. Each leather shoulder piece matches the sleeves in length, although there's a noticeably larger protective pad on Ando's right shoulder. A similar leather belt with a large flap for storing items adorns his waist, leading into light-grayish blue pants and leather boots. A sheath for whatever sword Ando is currently using rests on his back, attached to the leather shirt collar adorning him. His right wrist has a broken leather arm guard, with bandages wrapping over it to keep it together. The left wrist has a similar arm guard, although it's still very much intact.

As for what needs doing. I need reasons for each of your likes, fears, motivations and dislikes. One sentence is enough.

Other than that this is one of the best first apps i've seen a while. Good job
