Job Title: Lost Temple of Eris
Rank: C
Player Requirements: Be Fred and Almyra
Job Requirements: 20 posts of 250 words or more. Defeat at least 3 monsters, get through the 3 doors, and defeat the fallen chaos theorist.
Job Location: Mountains east of Oak Town
Job Description: Frederick has been given the task of retrieving an artifact for an archeologist from a lost temple, which has only recently been rediscovered. The temple is guarded by the spirits of past followers of the chaos goddes Eris, stone guardians, and three doors that require skilled mages to open. He has picked up Almyra to help him with the task. Together they must survive the guardians of the temple and reach the inner sanctum to retrieve the artifact. Little do they know that the archeologist is actually a chaos theorist who has abandoned his quest for balance, and now wants only domination.
Enemies:
Weak: Minor Spirit x2- This weak spirit deals A-rank damage with its entropic attacks. With each attack it has a chance to deal S-rank or B-rank damage instead. Destroyed by 1 S-rank hit or equivalent. These enemies are not affected by Chaos Theory magic and cannot damage chaos theorists.
Normal: Major Spirit- This spirit has the same entropic attack that minor spirit does, but can also heal Stone Guardians for up to 1 S-rank damage every 3 posts. 2 S-rank or equivalent hits will banish this spirit. These enemies are not affected by Chaos Theory magic and cannot damage chaos theorists.
Strong: Stone Guardian- This giant living statue has little in the ways of magic, but can perform a crushing blow that deals S-rank damage to a single target, or stomp to knock all enemies within 5 meters airborn. The combined damage of being launched and landing is 10% of health, regardless of rank (5% if victims somehow soften the landing.) Stone Guardians can take up to 3 S-rank hits before going down. Additionally, they can use entropic magic to reduce the duration of any debuffs they are afflicted with by 3 posts. These enemies are immune to Chaos Theory magic.
Boss: Stone Guardian and 2 Major Spirits
Special: As you reach the inner sanctum, the two realize they were followed. The archeologist who hired them is actually a fallen chaos theorist. This S-ranked mage takes 8 S-rank hits to kill. Every post he can hit with an entropic blast that deals 1 S-rank damage. He can afflict an enemy with a damage over time that deals 2 S-rank damage over 3 posts. Additionally he can cleanse himself of magical debuffs once every 4 posts. As an ultimate attack once in the thread, he can create a massive entropic blast that rips apart matter itself, destroying half of the sanctum and dealing 5 S-ranked hits of damage. He wields a morningstar that can hit for 1 B-rank of damage. He is immune to chaos theory spells and his spells cannot effect chaos theorists.
Reward: 7000 jewels
