A brand new friendship. [Kocho x Izagi]

Kocho had been wandering about for a while. She was looking for someone who could fix weapons, but she couldn't seem to find any one who could. She got tired of walking and decided to sit down. She had brought some water with her, as she knew that she would be wandering around for a while. She took a drink of water, and took a look at the sky. It had still been early, so the sun was shining brightly. It was a very pretty scene. Kocho seemed to get lost while she was staring at the sky.

The wind today was exceptional for the raven haired young man as he stood, fists to his hips as he stood atop a building, one which he had taken the liberty of warping up to thanks to his weapons, and viewed the horizon as he smiled, his dull white teeth giving him the look of someone who's day had just been made. For the young man, this was the feeling of the wind that spun itself through his robes and his hair as he gazed onward, although this feeling didn't get to last long, as the jingle of chains indicated the impatient partner of his , and he looked down at his waist, where a set of chains kept itself wrapped around his blue robes with white , with two orbs keeping the chain tied about him. Although few knew it, these chains, where very much alive.

The dark haired man shook his head and he threw a small needle down at a tree below him, embedding it in the earth below, although a mite off course due to the wind, the glimmering shard or metal landed off to the left of the tree, and he shook his head as he willed his being to the location of the needle, and sure enough, he appeared on the earth below, feeling the grass beneath his toes and heel that his albeit effective, odd foot ware did not cover. He scanned about for people to interact with, and the chains jingled as one of the orbs tugged to his left and he raised an eyebrow as he turned his head towards the wind and saw a girl gazing skyward as he had just been doing while standing near a water fountain, and he nodded. Of course Star Light, the aforementioned set of chains, wanted him to interact with a woman.

The man knelt down a moment to pick the needle from the earth, and as he touched it, it vanished into his "pocket" so to speak, and then stood back up as he moved forward, the warm earth beneath his toes shifting lighty as he waved to the girl, in order to catch her attention before reaching her, and spoke out to the blonde*"It is a good day is it not?"* He spoke smoothly. but to those that looked at him, it was very evident he did not wear the clothing of Fiore, so to many he would seem a tourist, and more than a tad out of place.

As Kocho was gazing into the sky, admiring it's elegance, she had snapped out of her trance once she heard the sound of a young man speaking to her. After he had spoken, she stared at him for a few seconds, however, nt on purpose. She had to take a few to soak in what he had just said. After a little time to think, she responded. "It's a great day! The sun's shining, the weathers nice, and there's not a cloud in the sky! I don't think anything beats this." Kocho looked over the young man, trying to not make it obvious that she was looking closely at him. As she looked over him, she couldn't help but notice what was on his feet. "I'm Kocho! Please excuse me if this may sound rude, but I couldn't help but notice what you had on your feet. Can you tell me a little about it?" Kocho said, trying her best to not seem impolite.

The golden haired girl seemed to stare a tad absent from her own mind for a moment, at least this was the impression that the dark haired young man had appraised of her. Perhaps she was simply surprised by something and had to take a moment to process? After a moment she answered and he held his smile. It seemed she was in fact merely processing, a thinker. Less fun in combat, more fun in life however, seems he chose a good day to relax., however her eyes veered downwards to the ground. Was the girl shy? He concluded not, as the girl gave her name and excused herself a moment as she asked him of his footwear, and he chuckled a bit, his eyes closing and his left hand going to his mouth a moment. Well he certainly didn't expect that.

He took a moment before answering, feeling the wind gust towards the girl, a few loose strands of his hair dashing to meet his face, that he would promptly have to swipe away using his left hand again before looking the girl with his sapphire eyes and speaking, a cheery tone in his voice*"Well, my own title is Izagai Nami. As for my footwear miss, it's commonplace of some of the mages in Nazo, but I don't suspect it's so common here. You see, the footwear is made to cover the arch of the foot from trouble, while leaving the heel and toes uncovered allowing for a better grip on the ground in battle, which in turn allows for me to make quicker stops and turns."* He spoke, a tad bit of excitement when saying anything of Nazo. He truly loved the land of his fathers, but as it was, he had a goal, and he had to make sure it was completed, so going back, was not an option, at least for now. He spoke again as he turned his head off to the left where he smelled food, wafting from a shop, and his stomach growled. He cursed himself a moment for not remembering to bring his wallet. Currency was an odd thing, usually he just traded for anything he needed.

After Izagai had finished talking, Kocho began to remember something. She once knew someone who used to wear footwear similar to Izagai's. Kocho just couldn't quite remember who it was, and she hated spending long amounts of time trying to remember something she probably never would. Kocho looked at Izagai in the eyes and said, "Nice to meet you Izagai!I love meeting new people! It always put's a smile on my face. I've never heard of Nazo before, but, then again I've never heard of any place outside of Fiore. Again, please excuse me if I sound rude, but how old might you be? I meet lot's of people, but I've never bothered to ask their age. I always had a fear that they would think I was a rude a person." Thinking of outside places made Kocho think of the Celestial Spirit world. She couldn't wait to see her mother again! He mother told her that She would return once Kocho became stronger, so Kocho has worked really hard to reach the next level of her ability.

The girl when she spoke seemed to go at about fifty miles per hour with her train of thought, and the sapphire eyed man's eyes remained relaxed as he listened to the girl idle on as she questioned things and said how meeting new people made her smile, and inwardly he half wondered what he had just gotten himself into. The girl, only a short way into her conversation proceeded to ask his age and he only stared and blinked for a moment before nodding, closing his eyes a moment before looking to her, passively waving his right hand before his own face in the air as a "it's ok" gesture, before speaking*" I suppose in Fiore time, I am around seventeen, or maybe eighteen years of age, although for my world that's not really anything, seeing as some elders live to see their third century for our world."* He spoke passively about age as he looked towards the shop, and pointed at it while looking to the girl, a grin on his face as he spoke*"I can tell ya bout Nazo if ya wanna buy me some food"* He held a honest smile. H meant no ill will, he was simply hungry, and if he was gonna talk to this girl, he almost felt like he might want to keep his energy up.

Kocho took notice of her constant rambling, but she couldn't help it. She just had a lot on her mind at the time. As she was listening to him, she didn't bother to think of telling him her age. She didn't think that he would understand, and besides, it was a really long story to tell, so, she just waited for him to finish. He then asked for her to buy him something to eat. She then saw the young man point at a shop and heard him speak. "That would be great!" She said in response to his request. She then lead the way toward the shop, and entered it, not knowing if Izai was behind her or not.

As they walked to the cafe, after she had cheerily confirmed that she would be paying, the raven haired Izagai stretched his arm out quickly towards the building, the needle he had picked up from the earth flying outwards towards the building lodging into a small plant pot that held a fern in it, and in the instant it touched the plant area, Izagai was vanished from the girl's side and about twenty feet away next to the shop, his left hand closed around the needle and landed facing the girl, one hand at his side, the other in the air grasping the needle. The rush of magic he felt when transporting his body from one space to another was freeing. But his main concern attracted him as he about faced, pivoting on his bare heel feeling the course concrete of the sidewalk scrapping against his calloused heel.

He walked into the shop not thinking that the girl would take a bit, and walked straight to a window seat that stared out at the tree they had med at, a older birch. But his real concern as he put his left hand over his right as he sat down and rested his chin atop the left hand as he seated himself, was the smell of the food. He smelled meats and breaks being cooked by fire, and he loved it. He honestly couldn't think of a better meal for himself in truth. He loved the taste and as he closed his eye he imagined the tastes and textures, only to feel his stomach growl further and he chuckled to himself. He was always hungry, but that was ok, food wasn't as hard to catch in this world, and there where far fewer dangers here than he had remembered in Nazo. For now however, he waited on his new acquaintance.
