Nessa Makes a New Friend

Koyomi was passing through the town of Hargeon, when she saw a girl that looked about 16, on the side of the road looking at the cake shop across the street. Koyomi went into the shop, bought a chocolate cake, and went up the the girl. "Here, you were looking at the cake shop so i thought that i would buy you some." Koyomi hands the cake to the girl, "I'm Koyomi, what's your name?"

"Thank you. My name is Nessa, Its my father's birthday and I wanted to buy him a cake. Thank you so much I promise that I will pay you back." Nessa said to Koyomi. Nessa stood up and took the cake that Koyomi had given her.

Koyomi looked at Nessa, "Oh, you don't need to pay me back!" Koyomi said quickly, "consider it a present to you dad, you know, for his birthday!" she patted Nessa on the head as she walked past her, "have a nice day squirt!"

Nessa just stands there for a second before calling after the nice lady."Hey I never got your name!"

Koyomi turns around, "I already told you, my name is Koyomi." Koyomi suddenly feels are phone buzz, "Oh! i will be right back! see you Nessa-" Koyomi paused for a moment. "Wait, are you, by any chance, Cor Draco?" If it was that Nessa, then she is Koyomi's target.

"Do you not like the people in Cor Draco?" Nessa was always told to be careful of the people she told of what guild she was in.

Koyomi was looking at Nessa, "oh! its just that I've been looking for you, i took the job that you put up for the entertainment at your fathers birthday." Koyomi says as she walks over to Nessa. "so, shall we go then?"

"Sure lets go!" Nessa takes Koyomi to her fathers birthday party. While they are walking Nessa keeps her guard up. She doesn't fully trust this Koyomi person. Not yet anyway...

Koyomi had a great time at the party, then the time came for her to entertain the guests. She pulled out a target board and threw knives at it, all of the knives hit the small circle in the center. "Wow! that is cool! i cant even do anything close to that!" Nessa's father said. then Koyomi flew around and cut a few targets with wind blades. the crowd wowed. Nessa, however, didn't seem to like what Koyomi did. Koyomi ignored it and kept doing tricks.

Nessa tried to get her fathers attention but he was to focused on Koyomi doing her tricks. Nessa decided to go into her room and come out when they cut the cake.

When Koyomi was on a break, she noticed that Nessa was gone. Koyomi went to Nessa's room and knocked on the door. "hey, they are giving the presents to him, you should come out." Koyomi talked though the door. there was no reply. Koyomi decided that it was time for her to go. "i will be going now! bye." Koyomi headed for the door.

Nessa headed out the door and caught Koyomi by the arm "Hey you can stay a little longer if you want?"The truth was that Nessa was starting to like Koyomi a little more.

Koyomi smiled, "Thanks! i just thought that you didn't like me." Koyomi and Nessa both go inside to party some more.

As the party starts to end Nessa walks up to Koyomi to ask her something that has been on her mind. "Hey is it alright if I come with you to your guild tomorrow?"Nessa wants to know cause she has never been to any other guild besides her own.

Koyomi pauses, "well, i don't know...we don't really want other guild members to enter much..." koyomi just walks. "plus, it is in a different town." She hands Nessa a paper with her phone number on it, "you can call if you need anything!" Koyomi waves goodbye.

Nessa walks away sadden but determined to be able to visit a different guild. She asks her father and he said that she could so she packed some things that she would need and started to follow Koyomi, but the thing is Koyomi doesn't know that she is being followed

Koyomi walked back towards the guild, then she sensed someone following her. She threw a knife at the person, pinning them by their shirt to the wall. Koyomi stopped as she saw who it was. "Nessa? Why are you following me? do you want to see the guild that badly?" Nessa nodded, Koyomi let out a sigh, "fine, come on, i will bring you in. I'm sure that the guild master will make an acceptation for me." Koyomi leads Nessa into the guild.

Nessa is very happy but also very frighten as well. She didn't think her plan through before caring it out. "Hey what are the people like at your guild?" Nessa tried to say this calmly but it didn't work and she could hear it and she was sure that Koyomi could hear it too,

Koyomi looks at Nessa,"well, they are nice, they are also strong." Koyomi starts to walk into the guild, followed by Nessa. But then Koyomi went in, grabbed a job, and left, giving Nessa little time to look around.

Nessa was already on the other side of the guild before she saw that Koyomi was walking out of the guild without her. " Hey Koyomi can you show me around before we leave please?" Nessa ran to Koyomi and before she reached her this oddly but kind of cute young boy about the same age as Nessa ran in front of her with a very big man behind him. " Who are you?"

Koyomi grabbed Nessa's arm before she could reply, "She is in a different guild, no concern of yours." Koyomi said, shoving Nessa out the door. "bye bye now!" As soon as they were outside, Koyomi told Nessa about the job, "alright, you saw my guild, so now you can go home. You can't stay in the mountains near my guild. i might see you again sometime, bye" Koyomi flew off into the distance.

Nessa wasn't the type of person to just give up so she still followed Koyomi. Besides she didn't know the why home any way but didn't want to tell Koyomi that so she followed Koyomi but she stayed a bit farther back this time. " I'm going with her I want to see her do a job and I haven't done a job myself any way." Nessa thought to herself. She's a very stubborn child.

Koyomi went to a forest with demons in it, she was hired to slay the demons. Koyomi threw three knives into the hearts of three demons, killing them. Then she sliced several in half with her wind magic, soon there was nothing left but Koyomi, and the bodies of the demons. "well, that is now done, time to collect my reward!" Koyomi went to the town that had requested the demons job, and she got her reward.

As this was going on Nessa was following and this very large man came in front of her. Nessa not looking bumped into the man. "I'm sorry sir." The next thing that Nessa knew she was being taken away by this stranger "Help me!!!" Nessa yelled. She was also wondering how the man managed to do that without even making a sound.

Koyomi spotted Nessa as she was coming back from the job, "Nessa!" Koyomi shouted as Nessa was being taken by the man. Koyomi had no time to lose, she threw a knife at the man, hitting him in the back, making him scream in pain, dropping Nessa, who scrambled to Koyomi. "Hey! what do you think your doing?" Koyomi said to the man. The man looked at Koyomi, "don't you know that you shouldn't play with knives!" the man said, with anger in his voice as he pulled a sword out.

Koyomi flew towards the man with wind blades surrounding her, "same goes for you, blockhead!" Koyomi said as she made contact with him. He dogged some of the blades, but got cut n some of them. "who you calling blockhead, blondie?" He said as he swung his sword at her, but she dogged. "do you even know how to use that thing? cause i could teach you." Koyomi said with a slight smile. she then threw three more knives at him, one hitting his shoulder, he dogged one and the last one hit his thigh. "ahh!" he screamed. "you will pay for this!" he said as he hopped in a van and drove off.

Koyomi went over to Nessa, who was shaking on the ground, "are you okay? that was pretty intense." Nessa looked up at Koyomi, "yeah, I-I'm f-fine" Nessa was still shaking, "here, it is too late to make it back to your house, so i will take you to the place i am staying at the moment, okay? grab on." Koyomi put Nessa on her back, then flew off towards the Inn, "you will feel a little better in the morning." Koyomi put Nessa down on the second bed in the room. "this is your bed, mine is over there, if you need anything, feel free to ask. The bathroom is over there if you would like to take a shower" Koyomi put a change of clothes on the counter for Nessa. "i will shower later, for now you can go, i will be in the kitchen making dinner for us." Koyomi went out of the bedroom and to the kitchen.
