Melody of the Dual Duel (Elyx vs Alie and Ariel)

Elyx looked up towards his opponents, his biggest challenge yet is right in front of him. This challenge could be the most deadly and life threatening one than any ever job he has ever gone on. Including going on Bounties and infiltrating areas. He could count on these two for help whenever he needed it, but now they were going to have to battle him. He wanted to make sure they went all out when they are fighting Elyx, he was no joke, and he has the highest of respect for these two, just about as much respect as he did have for his partner, Jin. This was going to be a duel that wasn’t going to have a sure winner until the very end, he hoped that these two were ready. Alie and Ariel.

Recently, Elyx discovered some new powers that he used to once wield. Shadelle blood is still within him, and the fact that is true is the fact that he used to be so strong. He couldn’t remember why he was so low on power nowadays. But now some of his favorite moves are within him. These two should watcdh out if they get hit. Then again, he remember their strength when Elyx and Jin were being dragged all over the guild. They were strong then, but Elyx isn’t a slacker anymore. He was much stronger than he was back then, and he was sure that he could entertain the twins as much as they were going to entertain him. He never really got to see how they fight, so he was going to learn their fighting styles and how he can add his power to theirs.

“Don’t hold back on me now!” Elyx exclaimed toward the twins as he let out a huge smile on his face. He loved to do this sort of thing, just as long as nothing gets too crazy or stupid, this will be a fun battle. Elyx hoped the twins were ready, he wasn’t going to hold back on them. “I’m not the Elyx you were able to drag around the guild anymore. You both are the reasons why I joined the guild, and I thank you for that. But I don’t want you to hold back on me now, promise?” Elyx then took a bite out of his chocolate bar and smiled once again with an even brighter smile. He loved to be so happy and charismatic, he could only remember one time in which he wasn’t happy at all, it was when they were all at Cosplay café. The best thing about it was that he could relate to his costume, he was a Neko in a café, which he didn’t mind too much. There were many other things he could imagine his costume to be.

Elyx put out his left hand, summoning a ball of light into it. The crushed the ball of light a few seconds later and opened his palm again, this time a Violin popping into it. He wasn’t too bad with this anymore it seemed, he made it seem like a magic trick. “Remember when I joined the guild? You both wanted to see the… ‘exploding Violin trick’ right? Here you go!” Elyx exclaimed as the Bow was then summoned into his right hand. Though he wasn’t in the guild for long, he had quite a few memories he could reflect on that made him smile, a little embarrassed, and a little feeling warmed his heart. It was like drinking hot chocolate on a snowy day, relieving, warm, sweet, and the perfect remedy for what the cold world brought. Elyx was beginning to doze off until he realized he wasn’t exactly there. He woke up back into the real world and held his Violin up.

The twins listened to Elyx's little monologue, this was meant to be a fun little fight but who knew what could happen. These are the Twins of Black Rose after all, anything could happen. The two girls stretched a little while he was talking. Once he summoned his violin the twins watched, still a neat trick but they weren't as impressed. "Still cool. Still very cool." Ariel said grinning "But it's not like we spent that whole time slouching on our own ya know." Alie said hoping up from the ground and doing some shadowboxing jabs at him.
The twins had grown too, through they hadn't done many jobs since finding the guild they trained when they could. To further themselves and gain more powers, was that drive left over from the Projects or was it just in their nature? either way over their time in the guild they gained a few new tricks. "Guess we'll make the first move." Alie said putting her hands behind her then throwing them forward. She threw what seemed to be a bunch of ping-pong ball sized glass sphere of different colors. Ariel held out her hand and Colt 45 pistol seemed to form in her hand, she took aim and pulled the trigger. The magical bullet hit one of the glass balls in the cloud and exploded in a cloud of smoke. The resulting shock wave some how caused the other glass balls to explode. It sounded like muffled fireworks as they all went off, covering the arena in a cloud of multicolored smoke. The twins dashed forward through the smoke, knowing exactly where Elyx was at the time, Ariel went in front of Alie, jumping up over her as they exited the cloud right in his face. It looked like Alie was going to go for a kick to the face and Ariel a punch to the gut. At the last second through it seemed the twins' positions shifted. It was now Ariel who was aiming a spin kick at the left side of his head and Alie throwing an upper cut that he'd get hit with even if he ducked. It was going to be difficult to dodge at this close a range, still possible but difficult.

Smoke fogged the arena, we that was interesting, but sadly not very effective. Elyx activated the effect of Wind Lerale Boost, allowing him to gain more awareness and speed at the same time. Even if there were two of them, he knows their speed, and their awareness has only lowered due to the smoke, while Elyxs only increased. Being a Wind mage, the very option of just simply blowng the smoke away was also an option, if for some reason it burdened him in any sort of way, Wind Lerale Stream of Quintus will get him out of it quickly. Wind Lerale eye also let's him see the flows of wind and how they moved, and there was an odd about of red markings in front of him. Even if he didn't have Wind Lerale boost and was actually blinded, he wouldve been able to see the via Lerale Eye. They seemed to be attacking him from up front... Which is a shame. They probably think that since there are two of them, there is no physical non-magical way to dodge that attack. It seems they didn't figure that Elyx had much space to run behind him. They were seen from the very beginning unfortunately for them. Elyx softly played Rising The Storm so the twins didn't hear, then braced his legs as he was ready to jump back and give them quite the surprise. When they jumped, he leapt back and struck the last note, E vibrato, and a light shot from the Violin. A giant cylinder of wind arose from the Violin and spun around quickly, pulling everything around it towards the Cyclone, and Elyx beu g in the center of it. The twins were so close to the Cyclone, and if they get hit by it, they are going to be sent flying by the winds. If they try to run... That wind would probably win and take them into the cyclone. Sadly, there were other ways to stop themselves from getting hit... Would they find it out?

The twins growled a little as their attacks missed completely. What they weren't expecting was a sudden tornado on the field. They yelled as they where thrown back, but it wasn't the first or last time they went flying. the twins shifted their bodies and spun around in the air landing outside the range of the cyclone. They studied it for a brief moment to try and decide the best course of action. Alie looked at Ariel and pointed up, she nodded and keeled down, cupping her hands. Alie ran at her and jumped into her hands, Ariel lifted and threw her sister up into the air. Floating for a moment she could see more or the field they were fighting in. It was just that, an open field surrounded by trees. That was good, she could work with that. She looked down as saw Elyx standing in the center of the twister, she reached behind her and pulled out another glass ball. This one was about the size of a baseball and filled with a black substance. As she was falling she lobbed it up toward the center. Even if it didn't make it in, the wind should carry it up and into the center. Which it did. Alie hit the the ground just in time to see branch strike the ball. It exploded into flames which carried by the wind quickly encased it in fire. The twins watched, wondering how Elyx would respond to suddenly being suddenly encased in flames.

The Cyclone was going down due to fire? Well that's due to quantity... lets surprise the Twins time. Elyxs Cyclone was slowly dying on power, but it was holding the Fire back. Elyx then activated the next spell, Wind Lerale Barrier of reflections, this will not only push the fire out, but it will strengthen the Cyclone and give Elyx a shot at a magic that he wanted to use. He played Classical Reflections, movement three, which then caused a dome of Wind to surround the cyclone and block the fire as well. The Cyclones winds were slowly beginning to increase in power again, and the barrier would lose power if the cyclones winds weren't helping it. They were working together, and they are only getting stronger. Now it was time to seal the fate of this fire. Elyx continued playing and dragged the wind towards the fire. It was then pushing the fire further and further, finally, the wind was no longer acting as a barrier, but now it was acting as a slow explosion.

The wind keeps pushing further and further, and the further it is being held by the fire, the bigger it will grow. The Twins might not want to get caught up in this deadly combo.

Ariel glared at her sister, "Look what you went and did now." She said angrily. Alie sighed "I can fix this." She said pulling out a phial with a blue liquid in it. She pushed her sleeve up and poured it along her arm, it looked a lot like water. Running her hand over it, the liquid instantly froze into spikes. A main long one running out past her palm. She ran it into the now expanding dome of flame. From the impact point the ice spread. Freezing the flame into a solid dome within a matter of seconds. Alie pulled her arm out of the ice and roller her sleeve back down. Ariel spun and kicked the dome, causing it shatter and rain shards of ice down around the area. Alie already slammed her right foot into the ground sending out a small wave of earth toward where Elyx was, she doubted he could actually see it through the twister but learned that there was more to him than that. If he jumped up to avoid it, she had a plan. Then again jumping into a rain of sharp ice wasn't a good idea. But getting hit by a wave of solid earth wasn't exactly a softer alternative.

The tornado was continuing, Fire and wind no longer enemies in this case, but now Wind Lerale Boost couldn't let him see through this tornado. Elyx then felt the earth shaking while he was playing his next tune, this one he though would be able to finish the twins off with, but not it seemed he would have to use it was a trick. Elyx knew what was happening with the ice falling and the Earth shaking. Cyclone drift was done and lowered, leaving barrier alone and the fire tornado going down along with it. When the Earth came, he let himself be lifted off then ground and yelled. The last note had been struck though... Now it's.time for a show.

Everything turned white, time seemingly frozen for the moment just to dedicate this transformation to him. Nothing else mattered now except for this one moment. Soon, everything was white, and he couldn't see anything. He saw that his clothing was dissolving, and his energy throughout his body felt like it was going to explode at any moment. Elyx could see whiteness only, his body feeling like it was floating. His clothing then changed, one piece at a time. He has a white shirt with a white jacket on top as well, showing a more modern and rich sort of look, but deadly as well. As if he were one of the ultimate warriors of the mages, this would be his abilities. His eyes were no longer light brown, but then light green, with a small hint of blue in his eyes. And instead of black pants, he had Denim blue jeans as well. Finally, there were wings of lights on his back, giving him the ability of flight. This was it... time for him to activate his next form. Wind Lerale... CHIDORIS KEEP! Elyx exclaimed as the trigger word "Lerale" was said, and his body felt like it could do anything and everything at the same time.

Elyxs body was still in the air, and his scream was still going, too bad he had wings now and much more speed and power. Just kidding! Elyx exclaimed with a competitive grin now instead of his usual grin. His wings were keeping him in the air, and now they allowed him towards the Twins without stopping. Lets see how they fare with physical combat.

Alie and Ariel marveled at the transformation, the beautiful wings sprouting from his back. They were dazzled for a moment. But just a moment, their target was coming in fast. Really fast, the twins barely had time to move out of the way of Elyx's attack. they both dove to the side and regained their footing. They weren't too bad at hand to had combat but a fast falling human probably wasn't the best idea. Ariel held out her hands summoned one of her favorite weapons: Manus Dei. She held the two swords in her hands crossed, the barrels on the side of the blades already filling with magical energy. Alie was also getting serious, she held out her hand as her shadow grew a being dressed in black robes robes stepped out of her shadow and welding a wicked looking sword. Once it stepped out of her shadow it's clothes began to give of a black smoke.
Alie pointed at the winged man, the black figure charged rather quickly at Elyx swinging the one handed sword in a vertical motion at him. Ariel ran at the other side as she ran she pointed the two swords out and pulled a trigger on the handle. 4 bolts of blue magical energy arced toward Elyx.

When the twins barely dodged his attack, he front flip airial recovered himself to allow him to land on the ground lightly. He noticed that the two twins were split, exposing one to more danger while one was being exposed to less danger. A risky tactic since Elyx can't use magic in this form, so he must attack them one at a time. A shadow man like figure was headed his way, its blade slashing vertically. Chidori form versus a monster that didn't seem that powerful. On his right side his awareness increased and showed that some bolts of energy were being sent his way. He stepped to the side as the monster swung his blade, then grabbed the monster and used it as a shield while the bolts hit it instead of him. Once the barrage ended, the monster broke out of the hold and back sliced Elyx with his right arm. Elyx caught it mid air, the blade at his neck. He grabbed the blade from the monsters grip and violently spun the monster once, now with a sword in his hand. With one wing horizontal slice to the monster, he beheaded it and kicked it to the ground.
Elyx then looked to Alie, the one who summoned the monster. She has two blade, he has one, but now she is completely exposed. Elyx fly towards her at full speed, barely even planning to give her enough time to think. He was about to engage her in melee combat.

Alie watched as her guardian went down and Elyx charged her. She knew that it wouldn't go down that easily. But he didn't and that gave her an advantage. She rolled to the right as Elyx slashed down at her, she spun and kicked off the ground for a lunging fist to the face. He dodged again and went back to trying to slash her. He was fast, very fast, Alie was only able to dodge a few of them. She deflected a few and hopped back a few steps. Her clothes had tears in them and she was bleeding rather heavily. She had to do something, those spells of his were going to be a problem. She reached behind her and pulled out a another glass ball, smashing on the ground, it it covered the area once again in black smoke. She ran right then went charged Elyx again. This time when he went to slash a hand stopped him. It was the black figure from earlier. It had slipped its arms under his and his hands behind Elyx's neck. Putting him in a head lock, Alie hadn't actually intended to hit him, instead she threw what appeared to be dust him his face. Both the figure and Alie retreated back into the black smoke, waiting for the numbing dust to take effect. Ariel watched the whole thing, when her sister retreated she took up the attack. Running at Elyx's left side she swung her swords. At the last minute she feinted to the right behind him and pulled the triggers. 4 bolts of magical energy arched at him at close range.
