A Change of Heart...

With a raised eyebrow, the dark-haired female glanced from her clandestine location upon the upper floor from where her purple orbs witnessed the exchange that took place between the two lovers; one being a member of the very guild she was situated in and the other who wanted to be welcomed within the guild’s obscurity and serenity. How peculiar. But then again, wasn’t peculiar what this dark-haired demonic beauty preferred; it made things far more interesting than what one would normally witness. And interesting for her was a way to earn amusement in her long-life of two-hundred years. Despite such a long time of being alive, the female couldn’t help but think of humans as these toys that she could play with but that was the nature of all demons, wasn’t it? Humans were such mindless fools that it made her wonder what made them so unique that even demons such as herself were attracted to them, with no control. Perhaps it was the unusual combination of good and evil present what drew them; but whatever it was, these absolutely pathetic creatures were also, ones who were fun to play with. And as long as her requirements were met, Laycie would be more than glad to welcome another one into her guild.

‘Click, clack’ went the heels of her shoes as she descended down the spiral staircase that lined the guild of Basilisk Fang, the sounds of her feet echoing across the barren and cold guild hall. Laycie slightly lifted the red dress that encompassed her petite frame as her long, straight and luscious dark hair swished back and forth with every step, making it appear as though a charming maiden was gracing her presence upon the vile and merciless guild of Basilisk Fang. However, that was such a contradicting statement. The liquidity that the female possessed was non-existent. As she was anything but what she offered to her prey on the surface; her inner being was as vile and callous as they could get. The sheer madness that accompanied her transcendent being was one to be irked by; one to be feared; one that would make anyone go into a hysteria of madness. However, that was where the entertainment lay.

With a charming smile gracing her lovely and innocent features, Laycie made her way to the duo of lovers, standing before them as her eyes drifted from one to the other, scrutinizing them and relishing the fun that was to await her. With a soft yet with an underlying, tone of superiority and eeriness; a voice escaped her lips aimed at the two. “Hello Kukki and her friend.” Laycie knew who Kukki was despite, not having met formally as Kukki was a member of her guild however, she had yet to meet this ‘Bekett’ person; or at least, that’s what Kukki referred to him as. “Lovely meeting you both. Now, may I know the purpose of your visit to our lovely guild?” The second part of her sentence was mainly aimed at Bekett as she questioned his motive despite, being informed about the ‘love’ that brought him here due to her over-hearing of their conversation.

“Why don’t we move into a more comfortable place, neh?” She questioned the both of them, sauntering off towards the main sitting area of the guild hall without, bothering to hear a reply. This was going to be interesting, indeed.
