Grammar 101 with Xana

Not sure if I could make a thread here, but whatever. If you didn't guess by now, this is where you learn how to write well. Not good. WELL. I'll be giving out tips and grammar skills as time goes on. Just ask a question here or PM me!

Or... Just type up a single paragraph of how you RP and post it here or PM it to me. I'll be pointing out your grammar mistakes though a PM and tell you tips you should remember.

Picked up a grammar error you should of put" haven't" instead of " didn't guess." xD!

...Incorrect! The phrase has to be "haven't guessed" if you change the first part. And thou post art incorrect grammatically.

We'll Didn't sounds a bit strange, and you don't start a sentence with And. I win this Grammar match. :laugh:

You CAN start a sentence with "and." They say you shouldn't because people tend to overuse it. A LOT. "Didn't" is a contraction of "did" and "not." Therefore, I win this round my good man.

Maybe I should move this thread to the Arena forum, since it is more of a grammar battle...

LOL, do what you wish. It's also educational and helps beginners with grammar, so I'm not sure where to put it.

We all here know good grammar Xana, sometimes it goes down hill, but everyone here does well so far. It is the beginners needing the applications in, and to get into the groove. Grammar hasn't been enforced before that much in many other places.
