Special Characteristics: Aaron's eyes are solid black with white points in them that move like stars. This is a result of a failed experiment from his youth.

Personality: Outside of battle Aaron is tries to be friendly and outgoing, though it is sometimes hard for him as many people are put off by his bluntness. Basically, he doesn't hide his feelings about something, which many people can find annoying. When ever he gets focused on something however, it becomes the center of his world. A book, a game, an artifact, if it is his focus he won't let up until he is forced to or has exhausted his interest in it. Aaron has an admittedly short temper, if someone angers him, everyone knows about it, even though his angers are always cold and never explosive, they are always obvious. Partly as a result of Aaron's cold angers, he holds grudges easily.

Aaron has a soft spot for children, and for cats. He will always try to protect them if need be, as long as he isn't in a battle already. This has to do with his own experiences as a child, where his only companionship was found with stray cats and how as an adult he realized he could prevent the abandonment he knew as a child. Aaron, as long as he isn't focused on something else, is always willing to help his friends, no matter how stupid the scheme is, as long as he sees no harm to his friends themselves in it he will participate. One very important thing about Aaron is that he is very protective of his friends.

In battle however, he hardens. Aaron focuses on the battle and nothing else. He is completely unaware of his surroundings and of any collateral damage he may cause. He is also merciless, he will kill someone if he is not prevented from doing so by one of his allies or by another outside force. He is becoming better with this, but as of now, he almost never restrains himself against an enemy. Under a leader he is sometimes difficult to deal with as he has a tenancy to act on his impulses, and to modify his part in a plan if he thinks that the plan won't work. Perversely, as a leader Aaron has no patience for disobedience, and relies on advisers to hold his temper in check. However, he is able to make quick decisions and is fiercely loyal, to the point where he will use himself as a shield for his allies.

In terms of his ability as a leader however, there is no question of his strategic prowess. Aaron is able to see a battle in terms of not only of future actions, but also he is able to see how past decisions can help or hinder his current and future decisions. He is able to take advantage of the slightest weakness of an enemy, even turning their own traps against them at times. His prowess is also what makes him such a poor subordinate though. If he sees a plan that he thinks has a problem, and the commander won't change it, he'll take it into his own hands.
Likes:

• Cats. When Aaron was younger his only reliable companions were cats.
  




• Books. Aaron absolutely loves books, and will often get lost in them.
  




• Strategy games. Aaron enjoys the intellectual challenge provided by games such as go and chess.
  




• Kids. Aaron feels very protective of children since his own childhood was...less than optimal, and he doesn't want to inflict it on other children.
  

Dislikes:


• Pompous people. Aaron hates people who act like they're entitled to everything for no reason.
  




• Ignorance. Aaron can't stand to listen to people who act like an authority on something they know nothing about.
  




• Surprises. Aaron hates being surprised, and will always react violently when surprised.
  

Motivations:


• Companionship. Aaron, while appreciating his alone time, needs companions, unfortunately his previous companions always betrayed him, and he is close to giving up completely on humanity.
  




• Knowledge. Aaron craves knowledge, forbidden or not, and will rarely consider the cost of gaining new knowledge.
  




• Protection of children. Aaron detests those who would abuse children, and will protect them at any cost.
  

Fears:


• Betrayal. Throughout his life Aaron has been betrayed by his companions, and it's driving him near the edge.
  




• Small spaces. Aaron is terrified of small spaces as a result of a trauma from his past involving a cave and his 'friends'.
  




• Heights. Aaron hates heights, it's completely irrational, but he can't stand them.

Hair: black hair that is just barely kept in check, it tends to spike out on it's own.
Eyes: Solid black with star like points, he has no whites to his eyes.

Appearance: Aaron stands tall over his peers. He is neither chubby nor lean, but rather has a fairly mid-range build made for endurance rather than bursts of strength or speed. Aaron always wears a black cloak over his black jeans and tee shirt. Across his back he carries his weapon as it is fairly long and cumbersome to travel with.

The only very minor issue I have is that your personality is 8 words short of the 500 word requirement.
