Job Title: Exploring the Catacombs
Rank: C
Player Requirements: Savage Skull members
Job Requirements:
-10 post minimum per players
-minimum word count of 250 words
-1st Player(poster) must roll monster dice 3 times a post after their third post until the boss is encountered.
Job Location: The Savage Skull Catacombs
Job Description: The guild’s notorious catacombs are vast. So vast (and dangerous) that they have never been fully mapped or explored. A new passage way has been discovered in the catacombs are you are going to explore it and find what’s on the other side. Since you’re doing this for your guild you will not be compensated but any treasure found within the catacombs is yours. Return with a map of the new area of the catacombs.
Enemies:
Weak:
-Zombie (D): Slow and disgusting, these creatures are to no surprise, the most common monster in the catacombs. They’re bodies are flimsy and weak from the years of decay so a good strike oughta destroy them. They’re also incredibly weak to fire and will disintegrate almost instantly if exposed to flames.
Normal:
Trap (C): The catacombs are loaded with traps. The first time you land on a trap it will be spikes. The second time it will be a giant boulder, and the third time you land on a trap it will be poison darts coming out of the wall. You can only encounter one trap at a time(per post) and any normal monster dice rolls made in the same roll turn into zombies(weak monsters).
Strong:
Banshee(C): Tougher than a few zombies and much scarier. These guys look like zombies but have a terrifying shriek that can incapacitate those who are foolish enough to venture to close(15 ft). Upon incapacitating a victim they will wrap their arms around the victim and crush the life out of them. They also don’t carry the same fire weakness as the lesser zombies.
Boss:
Batman (B): This thing is the closest thing to a vampire that exists in these catacombs. They’re fast, strong, able to fly, and have heightened hearing and vision in the dark. With razor sharp claws and teeth they’ll rip you to shreds in a heartbeat. It has been feasting on the zombies in order to survive and the sight or real living flesh is very enticing. This thing was created by Sinali by fusing a human with a bat, which was able to escape captivity and fled into the catacombs. Lord knows how it’s survived this long.
Reward:
After defeating a boss roll the monster dice to determine your reward:
Weak monster: 2,000 jewel reward
Normal Monster: 6,000 Jewel reward
Strong monster: 12,000 jewel reward
Boss monster: 18,000 jewel reward
Hiro continued to grumble and glare menacingly at Janneline Ariel, the pillar of dancing blades and the most subservient member of Savage Skull. He really didn’t want to be here but he was literally dragged here by her and Za’cha, who was coincidentally part of her pillar. Hiro didn’t want anything to do with her but he had no choice in the matter after being forced to go on this little excavation into the god forsaken catacombs. Despite this, Hiro was being rather cooperative, and that was extremely surprising because Hiro never cooperated. This was where he was cursed in the first place. Why would he ever want to set foot in here? The reason was Hiro thought he might find a way to break the curse if he found the place.
He kept a few paces behind Janneline and Za’Cha though so he could look around and listen on his own, hoping for signs that may lead to breaking the curse. That was the only reason Hiro even bothered coming. For that reason alone he was cooperating with his enemies. Well, Za’Cha wasn’t an enemy although he wasn’t exactly trusted either. Aside from the fact that he was helping Hiro in his plans to go to hell, for whatever reason, he was still part of Janneline’s pillar, a pillar that prided themselves on their loyalty to this disgusting mesh of monstrosities that called themselves humans. Despite Hiro’s cooperation he was still very irritated at the two of them. For despite his surprising willingness to come along, he was carrying all three of their backpacks and all of the supplies they may need to delve into what was arguably the most dangerous place in Fiore. Hiro may be physically strong but he wasn’t a pack mule and it pissed him off, which clearly showed on his face.
