    Magic

    Primary Magic: Arc of Stone

    Caster or Holder: Caster
    Description: Many lost magics have been unheard of for hundreds of years. A few have popped up over the years. Arc of Stone is one of these magics. Axel Alexander, stumbled upon it a long time ago, as if he had no choice. Except he didn't care. He had liked having the powers for as long as he could remember. This powerful magic grants the user to bring to life and command the very ground itself. It obeys the caster's every whim. For good or for naught. The summons are able to be cast for longer in exchange for magic(Everytime the caster decides to add 5 more posts to its time, it costs extra to the previous(e.g. 1 unit to summon 5 posts>>2 units to add 5>>3 units>>4 etc...)).
    Strengths:
    >>Earthyness
    >----> Strong vs Fire/Lightning +25% damage
    >>Minions
    >---->Can summon Autonomous Golems to help and protect the caster
    >---->Caster and Summons have a higher overall defense.(damage taken *0.95)
    >>Strength and Surprise
    >---->Caster is physically stronger than he looks. Great grapplers.(opponent has chance of being startled or hesitating when either getting hit by Axel or crossing blows with him for the first time(Axel Himself Only). This can cause the opponent to either take extra damage if Axel hit, or it will knock them back when just crossing blows.)
    >>Golem Soul
    >----> Caster Absorbs Small amounts of Magic from attacks (10% from spell rank, does NOT replace any damage)

    Weaknesses:  
    >>Earthyness
    >----> Weak vs Ice/Wind +25% damage to self
    >>An Armor's Joint Weakness
    >---->Caster is more susceptible to debuff and elemental effects being applied
    >>Skill Deficiency
    >---->No good with long-ranged attacks(-25% accuracy and damage to distant targets(over 40 ft or so))
    >>Easy Target
    >---->No good with ranged Dodging(-25% dodge and + 5% damage from distant targets)
    >>Strength's Regret
    >---->Caster and summons(except beast-mode) are much slower to start. (Can't attack first unless its an undetected preemptive attack)
    >>Golem Soul
    >----> Caster has a slightly lower Magic regen. (10%)


    Lineage: Feline Sense:
    Description: A long time ago, on an island not yet discovered by the world, there lived a race called the Neko; half man - half feline. ( an ancestor of the modern Neko ) When explorers discovered their island, they slaughtered the Neko for their treasures and fur. However, the Neko carried a special virus that was passed onto the explorers, who then took it back to the mainland. The virus infected their blood and DNA, and grew as it was passed down from generation to generation.
    When the virus reaches its final stage it nests itself in the human brain. At random it would become active and partially transform and mutate the body of its host. The ears would grow hair and become pointy, the nails and teeth would get a bit sharper, the nose would grow long hairs and change shape, and the eyes would become cat eyes. The host's senses would become feline senses until the virus would become passive again. With enough practice, the host could stimulate and control the virus to become passive and active at will by controlling their emotions.
    Ability: Heightened reflexes, hearing, and other senses. User becomes very agile.
    Usage: Duration is 4 posts. Cooldown is 5 posts. Can only be used 5 times per thread.

    Name: Summon Primal Golem
    Rank: D/C/B/A/S/SS/H
    Type: Earth
    Duration: 5 or 8 Posts(8 posts costs double the magic and cannot be done if below 50% mp OR hp)
    Cooldown:3 posts
    Description:Axel picks any earth based material within range to the front, above, and below. This could be dirt, clay, sand, stone, geode, or crystal. They then turn it into  autonomous golem(s). There are different types of them. Primal(Humanoid brute), Beast(on all fours), and Cloud.(In this spell, Primal Only). They can only attack physically(with earth element), guard, or carry. Their size can increase according to rank. But their rank is not necessarily determined by their size. Maximum allowed sizes go by this.

    -A:32ft
    -S:60ft
    -SS:100ft
    -H:100+ft
    >>Speed: Instant
    >>Range: Within Sight up to 100 ft away

    >----> Decreases golem's damage-to-self (-5%)
    >----> Primals Can be summoned up to half as many as the casters magic allows at once unless only summoning 1


    Weaknesses:
    >>A Brute's Speed
    >---->Movement Speed*0.8
    >---->Spell Channel Speed(When Channeling Spells through golem)
    >---->Energy damage done by a Primal golem is Reduced by 25%
    >>Defender's Request
    >---->Cannot summon primals while running/jumping/clashing

    Type: Earth
    Duration: 5 Posts(yes, only 5 for this and the rest)
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description:Axel picks any earth based material within range to the front, above, and below. This could be dirt, clay, sand, stone, geode, or crystal. They then turn it into  autonomous golem(s)(usually a wolf shape, occasional Panther or Horse). Beast golems can only attack physically(with earth element), carry, or cast an earth based magic(Moonstone Fangs is just a basic stone spire magic). Their size can increase according to rank. But their rank is not necessarily determined by their size. Maximum allowed sizes go by this.

    -C:6ft
    -B:12ft
    -A:20ft
    -S:45ft
    -SS:75ft
    -H:75+ft
    >>Speed: Instant
    >>Range: Within Sight up to 100 ft away

    >----> Increases Dodging an awareness of the golem

    Description:Axel picks any earth based material within range to the front, above, and below. This could be dirt, clay, sand, stone, geode, or crystal. They then turn it into a cloud of an autonomous golem. Cloud, and Shell.(In this spell, Primal Only). They can only guard, cast Golem Shell(uses its body to either heal a golem, create a barrier, or to cover Axel), or carry. Their size can increase according to rank. But their rank is not necessarily determined by their size. Maximum allowed sizes go by this.
    -D:5ft approx 3 people(in volume)
    -C:10ft Car
    -B:15ft Short bus
    -A:20ft Bedroom
    -S:30ft Semi-Truck
    -SS:50ft Small House
    -H:50+ft
    >>Speed: Instant
    >>Range: Within Sight up to 100 ft away

    Strengths:
    >>Forms
    >---->Mobility and defensive(no attack just autonomously defends, can also be used for traveing in the air or through earth/stone)
    >---->Defense(damage to self *0.95) (covers caster in armor made of own body or creates blockade)
    >----> Can heal a golem according to its rank. (If the golem healed is below the rank of the cloud, it will not become inactive, but it will drop one rank to fully heal it. Even if it was an A rank and the other was a D rank)


    Weaknesses: (Total=5)
    >---->Can only summon one per post
    >---->It is no longer active if it casts golem Shell
    >---------->Outer Limits: If in shell mode it must be destroyed by someone or "Released" by caster(which destroys it) to be able to replenish the maximum remaining allowed summons count(counts as a current summon)
    >---------->The Golems Shell will disintegrate if Axel is either unconcious or more than 100 ft away.
    >>Only one armor-shell allowed, As well as only 1 Free(non-shelled) cloud at a time.

    Description:Axel will close his eyes and concentrate on the golem he wants to connect to(any rank). After that he can either spectate from there or control it
    >>Speed: 5 seconds to cast, after that it is in effect
    >>Range: infinite,usually cross-dimensional but Depends on the Dimensional barrier
    >>Area of Effect: Only one golem at a time

    Strengths:
    >>Omniscient Bond
    >---->Unlimited distance can end up between the golem and caster
    >---->Can see and experience the same things as the golem
    >>Long strings Attached
    >---->Can use spells and even communicate through the golem


    Weaknesses:
    >>Two way bond
    >---->Special effects will have a chance to be applied to caster, if succesfully applied to golem.
    >---->If a golem is attecked, caster takes 5% of the damage. But if it is, It will just simply end the bond.
    >---->not easily used in the middle of battle, requiring and good cover
    >---->communication can be up to a 3 second delay if weather is bad or air is heavy with magic on either side

    Type: Earth
    Duration: 1 Posts
    Cooldown: 2 posts
    Description: Axel can force a golem to change shapes by projecting magic energy to it. Usually produced with an open hand, he will also state the form(e.g. "Here, Transform Into Primal State", or "Transform, Beast Mode. Now!", etc...). A golem only can be in one form once per summoning, therefore the max transformations per golem are 2, but only if they start Primal or beast. Primal ir beast can only become the other and then cloud, Or just straight to cloud.
    >>Speed 2-4 second cast, varies.
    >>Range 120ft

    Strengths:

    >>Can change form(Primal<-->Beast Primal/Beast-->Cloud)
    >>Removes debuffs, but not elemental effects
    >>Works With Omniscient Eye (if it is further than 120ft away)


    Weaknesses:
    >>cast fails if a damaging spell is received by Axel from a higher rank spell. +25% chance with a same rank, and none by lower rank spells(in regard to Axel's Rank)
    >>caster cannot revert transformation once begun.
    >>Transformation occurs during the golem's following turn. And it cannot attack during this turn.
    >>Only 1 transformation per use.
    >>Cannot make a cloud if there is a free one out(not shelled)

    Edit:(I wont be able to do it at this very moment(It may not even be today), but I am going to make a few big changes to this. I found that this was too complicated. So I am going to simplify it and knock a few things off before continuing)

    Alright, since I'm new here, I looked at some other created characters to get an idea how this is done. I think I have a good idea of what I did. But I do not however know how exactly these things work (Including the rp itself). So I thought I'd ask if there is anything I need to change or consider before having this checked?

    Do also have in mind that I am new to this. So please offer at least a tips or so for a noob. If the template is looking good, let me know that too so its ready to go through the wringer.

    BTW, 2 Q's
    1)Where is the best place can I study or look at an ordinary posting sequence to get a 'feel' for thid rp?
    2)Are there any Acronyms I need to know before starting.
