What appeared as nothing more then yet another normal day at the Sabertooth guild hall, quickly took a turn to the worst. Out of nowhere and unexpectedly the dark guild known as Haedes Grasp launched a full blown attack at the sky palace. Ripping violently apart the mundane slumber of daily life.

It all started already to turn into a chaotic mess, as Cirven, Kiersa en Marick were already trying to save Aayla from their clutches and fend off any dark mage that come through the teleportation platform. However it seemed that the girl was not their only goal, since Haedes Grasp appeared the approach the guild hall from every directions they could.
While Holy Tempest along with Marick was fighting them at the main balcony, winged dark mages entered the guild through it's lower sections.

Even Frederick was surprised when a Sabertooth mage flew crashing through the door of his room, and landed with a ferocious impact into one of the bookcases. It was at that same point when shouts and screams started to fill the air, along with the sounds of magical attacks plunging into the walls and floor. Knowing the extent of these familiar sounds Frederick immediately stood up, and walked through the hole that had replaced his door. Without even batting an eye for the mage that laid unconscious under a pile of books.

Once he stepped into the hallway Frederick saw the size of the actual attack, following the trail of rubble with his head he saw the clear blue sky through a gaping hole, along with the intruders that swarmed through it. And they didn't seemed to plan on holding back, all around where wounded Sabertooth mages that received the brunt of the attack and those that were still standing were almost completely over run.

Raven was just returning from one of her constant travels around Fiore. This time, she had gone to Magnolia and stayed there for a couple of days, spending more time in the library there than anywhere else. She also met a few of the trouble makers also known as Fairy Tail members and had quite a lot of fun. And when she felt she had stayed longer than necessary, she had instantly packed her bag and was on her way back home. She was looking forward to her goofy guild mates and the warm food she ate with them

However, she wasn’t expecting the terrible catastrophe called Haedes’ Grasp when she stepped into the guild premises. She was rooted to the spot for a long time in shock and disbelief. A half destroyed Sabertooth was not what she pictured in her head. She stood there looking at the swarm of monsters attacking her guild and even found a few of her guild mates fighting one of the flying creatures not too far away from her. Seeing as he was able to hold his own against the creature, Raven passed them and ran straight into the guild hall, ignoring the cries she heard along the way. Haedes’ Grasp..she had heard about them from Aayla before. The blue haired girl was hesitant at first but still had given her a brief summary of her experience.

With Aayla on her mind, her destination was Aayla’s room though she was stopped by the giant hole that she found Frederick staring at. “What the hell?” she whispered angrily to herself as she watched her guild being torn down by some weirdos. Slowly, she approached Frederick who was a few feet away from her. Sure they were in the same guild and they had met each other on a few occasions. However, she had never talked to him before and the aura around him told her to just let him be. This was a whole different situation though and she had to take the initiative without fear. “Frederick, are they trying to destroy the guild too? Where is Aayla?” she asked, a heavy feeling settling down on the pit of her stomach.

By slightly tilting his head to the left Frederick took notice of Raven, someone whom Frederick didn't know much about, mostly because he never even bothered to show any interest in her. Or even tried to start up a conversation with her. To him she was nothing more then just another face.
Knowing this Frederick realized that he didn't even knew her fighting capabilities or anyones else's for that matter. Maybe she didn't fought at all, maybe she was just a pretty idol.

He looked from her back to the struggle in front of him, the number of the enemies were increasing. Not even he could stop them all at once. Not without risking the lives of the Sabertooth mages who were still engaging the enemy. No he had no other option, he had to rely Raven.

'Save you concern for your friend for later' he replied bluntly, unknown to the fact that the dark guild was here for Aayla.'Right now, we need to stop the enemies movement at all cost. Make sure that no one gets passed us'

Not caring for a reaction from her, or the fact that she even would listen to him. Frederick stepped away from Raven and walked towards the enemy. Increasing his magical power with each step, his aura becoming slowly visible until it became so vivid that it looked like a black steam moved up from his body.
Some of the enemy had started to take notice of him by now, and started to run towards him. Planning on taking him out as soon as possible. Yet that would turn out to be a foolish decision.

Out of the dark aura that now surrounded Frederick, those that were to close to Frederick were being met by his signature move. A group of black featureless tentacles that dashed out of the equally black aura that surrounded Frederick. They came crashing into the mages with great velocity, and dragged them along, slamming those into the walls and ceiling. So hard even that some of the dark mages kept hanging in their own impact craters.

Raven stared at Fred as if he had grown two heads. “B-But...Aayla...she...Fred...” she tried to complete her sentence but just trailed off with a sigh as Fred just moved past her without even looking back. Now she knew why she was never able to have a decent conversation with the dark aura bearing lord.

The sudden pain rushing up from her left hand snapped her out of her reverie as she looked up to see one of the enemies holding tightly onto it, digging their nails into her flesh. With a painful groan and a twisting of her hand, she managed to free herself after punching it straight on its face.

Staggering back, she looked up to find the creature coming back up to her with another one behind it. “Ugh this is the craziest situation I have been to…” she complained more to herself as she changed to her royal form and merged it with her armor, giving her resistance against most of their attacks. With that, she activated her raven sword spell. Crows came together to assume the shape of a sword and Raven was ready for anything.

Soon, one of the half demons were charging towards her with a sword made of shadow. He aimed for her right hand first as it held the sword. It would have been a good idea if Raven hadn’t avoided it and dodged to approach the demon from his side. She stabbed the half demon, her sword pushing inside the thing before she pulled it back, the sword making a swish sound from the force of it.

She had no time to be happy however as the second half demon was taking this opportunity to drive another shadow sword into her. It grazed her right shoulder as she moved away with her superior speed. Ignoring the small biting feeling it gave, Raven swung her sword at the demon instead. She took this time to look back and see Fred taking down four of these monsters with effortless ease, making the silver haired girl groan in disbelief.

From the corner of his eyes, Frederick followed Raven's movement. Which consisted out of a precise and elegant swordplay. Attacks so swift that it looked like a dance when compared to the raw sheer power that Frederick used.

However while he took notice of Raven, the remaining enemies did as well. A group of ten mages summoned up a variety of black colored weapons, which Frederick assumed was some sort make-type magic, and ran straight towards him and Raven. While the remaining four, stayed behind the  charging spearhead formation. And guessing from their stance it wasn't to stay out of combat, by aiming both their arms towards the two Sabertooth mages, they created colored pentacles in front of them, from which concentrated beams of magic were being shot.

Two of the beams were shot straight towards Frederick, or at least he thought so. The moment he planned the move two of his tentacles in a defensive position around him, the beams would take a curve towards each other and form one bigger and stronger attack. Which on impact vaporized the two extensions that were functioning as his shield.

In an immediate response to the ranged threat Frederick shot forwards all his remaining tentacles, who rushed through the air passed Raven and dragged four enemies away with them. Until they'd reached two of the mages with ranged magic, there the tentacles came to a crushing and devastating halt right where they were standing. Making them, along with the mages that were dragged away, one with the ground.

Not even a second later the tentacles would retract with the same ferocious speed they'd attacked. But not without dealing more damage, lashing like a whip all around them, one black extension swept two more of the attacking mage into the nearest wall.

Ignorant to the pair of eyes following her, Raven was still at the position she stopped before, looking down at her sword with disgust. No matter what anyone says, Raven was just not a huge fan of blood...more so after everything she did with her own hands. Waking up with her kind’s blood all around her was a nightmare she didn’t want to go through one more time. The trauma that ate up half of her senses was something she never wanted to experience again.

It was those thoughts that Fred violently pulled her out of as a few of his black tentacles rushed past her, raising dust and forcing her to push her flying hair back. Straightening herself back up, she noticed the tentacles going back but not before tracing a path of destruction. However, she found out why he made that sudden move when she found ripped up clothes and more blood on the ground.

Sighing, she tried to block out the mental images her sub-conscious mind decided to send her at that moment before turning back to face Fred. “Good job?” She laughed awkwardly with her left hand rubbing the back of her head. She had to face the facts and one of the facts that showed up more than once at that time was that she had a long way to go before she can spar on the same platform as Frederick.

That being said, she was still in the middle of a battle. Turning back around, she found one of them approaching another one of their guild’s member with a black gun pointed at him. Another two were already dashing towards her though most of their attention seemed to be aimed at Fred. Her speed and easy maneuvering of her body was enough for her to slash at both of the monsters at once. However, one of them, even while dying, managed to grab her shoulder and push her back towards a wall.

Landing on the floor with a groan, she managed to stand up ignoring the pain searing through the back of her head. “Damn it!”

Attack on Sabertooth1 (Lower Sections) Empty Re: Attack on Sabertooth1 (Lower Sections)

Post by Godlike Frederik 18th November 2014, 2:15 pm

While Raven took care of two dark mages right before she was being pushed hardly against a wall, Frederick decided to take care of the remaining group. Including the one holding a gun pointed at one of the other Sabertooth mages. Who like so many of his comrade fell in the same way, crushed from above my one of the black tentacle being shot forwards from Frederick. The impact even forced the Sabertooth mage that was being held gun point to fall backwards.

The remaining five were being dealt in an equally likewise manner, only more cruel. With a continues barrage of his tentacles, that lashed out and plunged themselves into the floor, made sure that the remainders of the dark group was being dealt with swiftly.

When the dust settled and the tentacles retracted all the way back into the dark aura surrounding Frederick. People could see the aftermath of his merciless attack, originally were the enemy was standing was now nothing more then the broken rubble of hall's floor. However Frederick himself did not shrug or even acknowledged what happened, instead he just turned around towards the other Sabertooth mages.

Looking at them he could see that they were in a sorry state, most of them were wounded, and those that still managed to keep themselves standing weren't in any fighting condition any more. Knowing that they'd weren't of any use anymore, there wasn't any other option then to let them retreat to a place where they'd are out of harms way.

'Tch... You two! Stop dwindling and make sure that those who are wounded are dragged somewhere safe. Preferably a place out of sight from the enemy' The two mages that were being addressed by Frederick jumped up, pulled out of their own thoughts. They were rather young and probably hadn't seen a fight such as this before, intact they'd probably never even dared to imagine that their guild, their safe haven would be invaded like this.
Nodding at Frederick as an acknowledgment they started to walk of towards their comrades whom laid unconsciously on the ground. Frederick himself on the other hand turned towards Raven, the silver haired mage that at least seemed more then capable then the rest of their guild members.

    'Seems you're still standing.. good.'

Attack on Sabertooth1 (Lower Sections) Empty Re: Attack on Sabertooth1 (Lower Sections)

Post by Yvonne 20th November 2014, 8:34 am

By the time Raven was fully up, she noticed that Fred had taken every other monster down with a flurry of attacks. Raising her eyebrow at the sight of destruction, she was almost going to ask Fred why he bothered to destroy the enemies if he wanted the guildhall destroyed too. She pushed that thought out though since they can always think of the damage done later. No matter what guilds like Haedes’ Grasp think, Sabertooth had amazing fighters and members that can stand back up no matter how many times they have been hit. They would shed sweat and blood for their guild. It was one thing that attracted her to this guild in the first place. For now, they had to focus on getting all those intruders out. Protecting their guild or at least what’s left of it was their primary duty.

With a nod at Fred, she straightened up and pushed her silver hair out of her face. Slapping the dust off her outfit, she was going to ask Fred once more about Aayla. Raven was pretty sure the whole attack was just a distraction to get to Aayla. The sad thing was that Raven didn’t know all of the details. Aayla never seemed interested in telling her the whole thing and she never pushed.

“Fred...I really think we need to find Aa,” Her sentence was cut off as the loud sound of something exploding and walls crumbling down reached their ears. By the direction it all came from, the enemies must be at….”Damn!”

Raven had to bite the insides of her cheeks to actually stop herself from yelling out loud. If she had her facts right, they were going to the gravity control room deep within the guild. They had to get there as fast as possible or God knows what could happen.

The short moment of peace was roughly disturbed by a loud explosion that caused a rumbling tremor, shaking every wall around the Sabertooth mages.

'Damn it!' cursed Frederick out loud, knowing what the cause of the quake was. While Regaining his posture he threw a glance at his silver haired companion, whom by guessing from the look on her face had probably came up with the same conclusion as him.

The enemy that they'd just fought were just a distraction, a battle tactic to keep the Sabertooth mages busy while others were targeting key points of the guild. And hearing from where the explosion came from their first target was a crucial one. A room that kept the entire guild into the air, the gravity control centre.

'Raven..' he said with a foreboding voice, knowing what the consequences were if the enemy actually managed to destroy the very engine that kept them all high up into the air. 'if they break that machine...'
Frederick broke of his own sentence, knowing well enough that he didn't needed to finish his sentence. Because the girl was a part of this guild too, and knew what would happen if they'd didn't stop the enemy down there. A fortress that would break apart and fall down, along with all it's members who would be greeted by a deathly fall.

Yet before Frederick immediately jumped into action, he grabbed a sabertooth lacrima communicator from the floor. A small device that was probably knocked out of the hands from one of the guild mages that were just fighting with them earlier.
From the looks of it, it was still in a decent shape. Functional enough to make contact with the others that were still fighting at different places in the guild.
With a soft throw he'd passed it towards Raven, expecting her to talk to anyone able to listen.

'Contact the others, let them know what's going on. We need them to protect other key points in the guild. Let's go.'

Fred didn’t have to finish his sentence at all. She had been there long enough to know what would happen if the enemies get their hands on the gravity control system. The whole guild will fall and everyone in it will fall with it. Maybe the control room was their target from the beginning. She realized Aayla wasn’t their only aim. They wanted to completely wipe out Sabertooth as well.

Not knowing what to do, she followed Fred who had snapped out of his thoughts before Raven. Catching the small lacrima communicator, Raven hesitated to actually speak into it. It was important to let everyone know how the guild could fall to its destruction any time but it was also important to keep their concentration on the fight. They would be distracted and she was sure it would turn into a huge mess. However, she also knew that there were weak mages in their guild too and she had to give them a chance to escape.

Sighing, she turned the lacrima communicator on and into the glowing golden light, she spoke. “Listen up!” her voice echoed throughout the guild. “As you all know it, our guild is under attack. The enemies have targeted the gravity control room and are heading there as I speak. Those who are willing to stay and fight for the guild must move to the other key areas of our guild immediately. Others should help the lower rank mages escape and fast!” she finished and slipped the communicator into her pocket before catching up to Fred.

“I told them what’s going on. We must get to the control room now,” she said as she felt her attire change into armor’s merge mode. Kuroe who made it to her at the right time gave her a nod before combining with her as well. With that, she darted past Fred towards their destination knowing very well that Fred would catch up to her in an instant and she didn’t have to hold back at all.

Catching up to Raven, Frederick finally arrived with her at the beating heart of the guild. The complicated magical engine that kept the entire fortress floating in the air. Yet once there they could see that their haste was for nothing as the enemy was already standing ready to engage any sabertooth mage, that dared to meddle in their mission of crippling the guild for good.

Between him and Raven stood a bloodthirsty group of demonized mages, most of them looked like the same grunts they'd fought before. Mages with tails, wings and even claws who used several forms of shadow magic. But despite being in greater numbers again, non of the enemies caught Frederick's eye as much as a strange looking woman in the midst of them.
With horns coming out of her forehead and blood red hair she had the perfect look on how a succubi should be. A well developed woman, with a great mean streak hanging around her. She felt and appeared more powerful then any other of the goons around here.

The mechanical construction behind her, appeared also to be in bad shape. Making loud clonking noises and puffing out bursts of steam every now then. Some of the cogs that Frederick assumed should've been attached to it, laid around it on the ground. Broken or some even bent. It was pretty clear that it couldn't take any more hits.

But before Frederick could even act, the horned woman already initiated the first move. By raising her arms toward the two Sabertooth mages, she made sure that they were both in her sight. Just so that she could shoot out long pointy extensions from where her nails should be.

    Enemies:
    4/4 normal
    1/1 strong

    OOC:
I got some the enemies wrong last time, apparently there weren't twenty normals but just 4. 2 per roll.

Raven stopped in front of the enemies and looked around. There were 5 of them in total including a woman that looked stronger than the rest. They had to get past them if they wanted to get to the gravity control room and it wasn’t going to be easy. Was it just her or did the woman like thing just smirk at her? Raven frowned, taking a defensive stance as she found her aiming at them.

The spear like attack that came at them, Raven was able to dodge a few with her speed although her reaction wasn’t completely fast enough and unfortunately, she took one on her right shoulder. Biting her bottom lip hard enough to bleed, Raven fell to the ground silently, gripping her shoulder tight and scratching the floor with her nails as she tried to get a hold of herself. 'It hurt! It hurt like hell!' she groaned in her head as she tried to hold the pain back.

It was painful without a doubt. A few droplets of blood that trickled down her shoulders, past her arm and palm dirtied the floor. Unfortunate for the woman thing, blood wasn’t going to stop her. “You know what?” Raven said calmly, her eyes filled with amusement as she looked at her opponents.

    “Go To Hell! Dammit!!”

Black tornado arose inside the room, swirling and making a furious roaring sound as it caught all five of their opponents at one. The tornado persisted and howled as if lusting for the blood of those it had trapped. Setting her unwavering gaze at the sight, Raven would just stand there with a poker face. Their cries brought back memories she didn’t want but it also awoke a dangerous side inside her; a side which Raven was desperately holding back with all her strength.

Frederick, who had managed to evade most of the spears except one. Was now standing in utter silence as he saw Raven's true strength, and ruthlessness display in front of him. Making him completely forget about the gaping wound he just received by blocking one of the devil womans spear nails with his left arm, by raising it right before it could enter his chest he'd managed to deflect it so that it would rush past hist shoulder and head. Instead of having it enter and drill into his chest. He even could hear the sharp sound of the ferocious speed it had as it soared passed him. His arm however, got heavily scraped by the spear, and had created a deep enough wound to have it continuously bleed.

A powerful black tornado had enveloped the entire center of the room, and pulled anyone in who was standing to close to it. Some tried to hold onto something desperately, but that was nothing more then a futile and desperate attempt to safe their own life. Even Frederick felt the harsh suction, and the strong gusts of wind that made his cloak flutter loudly and uncontrollable.

To his left, he took note of Raven's sudden change. The fighting spirit she had before was gone and was traded in for something else. A cold and straight face that gazed upon her own power, and the harm it was doing. Yet something seemed off, her forehead and neck showed sign of some sort of stress. As sweat was started to roll down from it. But if it was from her wound, the continuous fighting or something else Frederick didn't know. He just knew that something about her seemed off.

'Raven...?' he eventually said vaguely, unknowing of where she was with her head.

Raven stood still, her vision fading away as something inside took over. Black marks appeared over Raven’s skin, swirling and flowing into what looked like tattoos which took the shape of an ancient language. They were incomplete though and was slowly spreading from her back to the rest of her body. When she opened her eyes, the color of her eyes were flicking from bright, glowing red to its normal color. It was obvious that she was at the verge of doing something she would regret sooner or later.

Inside, the real Raven was looking up at a slideshow of her life, her parents, her important ones, her sins, their death and herself covered in their blood. She had forgotten that she left Fred by himself with her other self. At that moment, she couldn’t care about it either. All she could think of was that full moon night she lost control and the red color it turned into due to the sea of blood she spilled. Didn’t someone warn her of that day? Of course….she warned her. She also told her Raven would never find real happiness. Too bad she didn’t pay attention to it. Raven always thought she was simply a shadow. She never believed in her own shadow….

Back in reality, the black tornado was still roaring without losing its power. It had already killed off most of the monsters except for the woman who was still screaming in pain at the center of the tornado. The problem though, was the fact that it was not just the woman Raven was harming. She was also slowly starting to destroy where she and Fred was standing on. It was also way too close to the gravity control room. If someone would not wake Raven up, she will definitely destroy everything close to her.

The tornado seemed to suck out all the light out of the room, as it's power as well as it dark black color seemed to be intensifying with every passing second. Endangering not only the enemies anymore, but the very room Frederick and Raven were standing in as well. The very room in which the gravity control was stationed as well.

It also seemed that at least most of those trapped inside to vortex had already passed away, since their screams had seized. Leaving the room nothing more then with the roaring deafening sounds of tornado itself. And Frederick trying to get Raven's attention, who seemed to be the cause of all this.

'Raven!' he said loudly, almost yelling at her 'get a hold of yourself wench!' But it was without avail, the woman seemed to be entirely unfazed with him shouting at her. In fact she didn't seem to be noticing him at all. 'I refuse to fall down to my death! So snap out of it!' He continued while he grabbed her by the shoulder. Something he regretted immediately, the moment he tried to grab her forcefully and shake her. he was being met by some sort of unconscious failsafe system. A strong gust of wind, was send at him with such ferocity and speed that it cut deeply into his hand.

Letting out a loud grunt, and Frederick immediately retracted his hand as a response. It was then that he noticed something else about Raven, started to appear slowly and coming from her back, were tattoo's. No that wasn't it, this was something else. Symbols? A language? Whatever it was, Frederick didn't recognized it, even though he had studied a lot of ancient languages during his search for a cure for death.

'What to do...' he thought to himself, while looking from Raven to his now bloodied hand. A cut which caused a pain that started to throb through his entire arm. But even though he asked himself that he already knew the answer. He had to do something that the other members probably would condemn him for. 'well it's not that they liked me anyway...'

With the tornado still roaring behind him as a frenzied behemoth, Frederick started to engulf his fists into a thick dark mass. And without any further thought or let alone hesitation, he plowed his fist with all his might into Raves face. Hoping that would wake her up from what ever state she was in.

Raven didn’t see or hear anything that was going on outside. She didn’t know how to explain her state of mind either. All she wanted to do was curl up somewhere and escape everything. She was oblivious to whatever that was going around in the real world and she failed to register the trouble they were in. She did vaguely feel someone’s grip on her shoulder but whoever did that, forgot about the armor she was wearing and he was pushed away from her. Meanwhile, the tornado was only getting stronger. It had destroyed every being that got trapped in it and now it was starting to bring the whole room down.

The Raven inside herself was starting to see the pictures of that woman. She was the cause of everything even though she had no ill intentions in her heart…..that woman made her commit the crime she never wanted to do. She had played Raven like a puppet and had completely disregarded her feelings in her quest.

Her train of thoughts came to a stop and something forcibly pulled her up through some kind of black hole as the next thing Raven knew, she was lying on the ground, her head resting on a wall and a burning pain on one of her cheeks. She couldn’t immediately register what was going on. She had to sit there are stare at the black tornado for a while before she completely understood what was going on. She immediately broke her own spell and got up, rubbing her sore cheek with a sigh. She had let her guard down and this happens.

“Thank you. Though you should know better than to hit a girl,” Raven said sorely as she looked at the cloaked man in front of her. “Let’s go. We still have business to do, don’t we?” she quickly said, turning around and walking ahead of Fred. She didn’t want to stay and answer to his questions and he probably has many.

Much to Fredericks relief, the punch that he had thrown at Raven was strong enough to pull her out the enigmatic trance she had put herself in. She did however seem not to be able to grasp the situation right away, not she was confused or anything. But more as if she was pulled out of a deep dream and just couldn't comprehend where she actually was. But before long, her deeply colored eyes lid up again showing signs of consciousness.

The moment she did, Frederick noticed that the raging black tornado would seize to exist. And dropped the bodies it had carried from mid air onto the ground. Creating a thumping sound, just like a large bag of grain or rice would do as it fell on the kitchen floor. It was that moment Frederick got his first glance at the destructive latent power that resided in this girl. Something he wasn't really expecting at all, sure he had seen her fight, capable of taking an enemy out when necessary.

He was about to raise his voice, inquiry her about what happened to her just now. But Raven must have felt that coming as she dismissed any opportunity for him to ask her right away. Mostly by making some small remark about him hitting her, followed up by stating they both should head on.

'Fine' replied Frederick the moment when Raven walked passed him, but not without showing the frustration in his tone. Making it clear that he was going to find out about what happened, sooner or later.

Frederick turned around after that, and followed Raven. Giving one last glance at the enemies that were sucked up into the tornado he saw the devastation it had brought upon their bodies, broken bones, dented chests. And that all just by the sheer power of the wind that had pulled them in. And the way Raven easily neglected that fact, made Frederick assume that she was more alike then he had thought her to be.

Raven chuckled to herself, clearly catching the hint of irritation in Frederick’s tone. But, she wasn’t ready to give him a note on her back-story. After all, she was trying to forget all of it herself. Unfortunately, it just comes back to bite her in one form or another. She was in no mood to think further into it even though the sudden burst of power from her other side did surprise her. It had been dormant for so long and after all this time, it was starting to act up again?

Sighing, she dismissed the whole thought from her head and made her way to the gravity control room. Thanks to her sudden release of power, Raven had managed to kill off all of the enemies that showed up earlier without taking much time too although she had almost destroyed the guild herself. ‘Uhh I should be more careful,’ she thought, pressing her lips into a tight line, clearly pissed off at herself. What was she thinking? Wait...that's right, she wasn't thinking. If anything, she was staring at a slideshow of her own life and it wasn't fun.

The feeling of floor moving beneath her and the violent shaking of walls snapped her out of her thoughts, making her stumble and hold onto the nearest thing available to her; Fred's arm. Well, the alarm signals running wild in her head did tell her she was gonna get her ass kicked. However, she couldn't figure out what else to hold on to and just prayed to God for Fred to have mercy on her. When the shaking stopped after a couple of minutes, she slowly let go of Fred's hand, grinning nervously at him before turning and running towards the control room, hoping very much that Fred would take his anger out on their enemies instead of her. When she reached their destination, however, she found the doors to be locked and when she gave it a push, she felt something heavy on the other side. 'Had they blocked the door with something?' she thought, groaning at their stupidity. How far did they think that was going to help against mages? She thought as she kicked the door, drawing all her strength on her right foot, breaking and sending whatever that was on the other side flying to the opposite side.

Dust fell all around them as the guild once more shook to its very core, a rumbling sound as the walls trembled. Just barely able to sustain the upper floors. It indicated that the situation was indeed far more dire then Frederick and Raven had anticipated, and if they didn't really hurried along now the guild would fall apart.

Or at least that was what should have been on Fredericks mind when the quake rumbled through the guild. But instead his mind was only occupied by a rather awkward moment, a situation he didn't really knew how to handle.
Unlike Frederick, Raven had almost lost her footing when the ground felt as if it fell apart and had grabbed onto the closest thing possible, to keep her self standing. Which unfortunately for both them, was Frederick's right arm.

'Ehm... what are you doing' he said a bit irritated, while Raven slowly but awkwardly let go of his hand, however before he could even continue he was being rendered speechless as Raven dash off towards the  control room. Which she gained access too by gathering all her force into one powerful kick that destroyed the heavy reinforced metal door that was blocking her way. Smashing instantly the few grunts that were standing idle behind it.

In that instant Frederick returned back to reality and immediately jumped into action, and before the dust event had a chance to settle from Ravens rather ferocious greeting, Frederick had already smashed into the first grunt standing in his way. By using his own version of a quickstep, he had moved almost instantly from where he was standing into the gravity control room. Leaving nothing but a black vague line behind him, which was the afterimage of his movement.

Raven grinned as she felt Frederick zoom past her towards the opponents. She followed closely behind, using her own speed to land punches and kicks on their opponents. Her right foot crashed into one of their face and using that as leverage, she hosted herself up and spun around to kick the other grunt that showed up behind the one she kicked first. She landed perfectly on the marble floor, making a thud sound when her shoes connected against it. She saw another grunt rushing towards her and she ducked beautifully as she drew her sword again.

She glided on the floor, the grunts hardly keeping up with her speed as she slashed at them with her sword. She was also starting to use the knock back function on her armor to her advantage, purposefully closing the distance between her and her enemies before stabbing them with her black sword. It was not something to be surprised about, but the number of enemies she found in the room did intimidate her slightly. They really were planning to take out the gravity control room completely, weren't they? It made her wonder how others were holding up in their side of the battle.

She didn't have much time to ponder on it, however, as she was starting to get attacked by more than one grunts. She spun with her sword in her hand, managing to hit most of them, but not doing enough damage to kill them. She was still quite weak compared to the grunts. It was a wonder how she managed to hold her own for so long. To equal things out, she finally created two raven dolls around her, that spread out and was attacking the grunts along with Raven. She didn't forget to keep an eye out for Frederick either. Hopefully, he was having a much easier time with the grunts than her.

The moment Frederick landed his punch into unfortunate bastard that was close enough for him, Raven swooped passed him as well. Who with an equally ferocious speed plunged the heel of her boot straight into the face of an opponent. Frederick who had been following that movement from the corner of his eyes, could only imagine the pain the poor bastard was going through. Especially if you'd considered that the girl that just destroyed his jaw had cracked open a steel reinforced door with ease.

Focussing back on himself Frederick, dashed straight forwards toward two other grunts that came running at him. While creating black swords as an extension of their arm doing so. Yet before they even fully could materialize their shadow-make weapons, Frederick had already intercepted them by grasping with one hand each around their faces. And pushed their head with his sheer speed crashing into the ground.

It was an instant knock out, if not worse. Either way Frederick didn't give it a single thought, he'd just moved towards the next targets that caught his eye. Which were three weird looking men, even weirder considering the half demon mages that were all around him. No these humans, or whatever they were looked more savage. As if they were part beast, or multiple beasts even.

One of them, the largest was charging straight at Frederick and raised his large fist high in the air, just before he came to a still were Frederick was standing and plunged his fist into the ground. But without avail, right were his fist was landed was nothing more then the ground he had pulverized. And the hooded Frederick he was targeting was gone. Or at least that was what the beast-man thought, until he felt the cramping tightening sensation of something wrapping around his neck.
