Guard my house!!! [Job l Riley and Amara]

"You're coming with me."
"No I am not."
"You are coming with me on this job Haku."
"No I am not."
"Oh my freaking gosh Haku shut up you are coming!"
"Nope."
Amara and Haku continued to argue loudly as they neared the house Amara was supposed to be at for the job she signed up for to begin. Haku didnt want to go for he found jobs like this one to be tedious and a waste of his 'oh so precious' time. His excuse made Amara laugh however she was desperate for him to come on the job with her.
"...... Fine...." Amara muttered before suddenly grabbing Haku by the wrist, tightly so he couldnt get away from her, and sprinted off to the house- Haku being dragged behind her.
Haku was in such a state of shock that he didnt put up any resistance to Amaras actions at all, in fact he almost started running along side her out of habit. By the time what was happening sunk into him Amara had already dragged him over to the house.
"In you go~" She grinned mischievously before grabbing his leg. Haku stared at her in surprise, they had suddenly stopped by one of the walls of the house they were to be meeting in.
Haku was suddenly thrown up into the air by Amara, for she was rather strong so this was indeed possible. He closed his eyes for a moment, attempting to transform into his dragon form however hus back suddenly slammed against something hard. Opening his eyes he saw a ceiling above him... He was thrown through the window and into the house -.-

Moments later Amaras giggling could be heard from outside as she leaped through the window gracefully and landed on her two feet unlike haku.

"RILEY!" Sang Amara as a familiar mage walked into the room where she stood and Haku lay, still dazed from being thrown through a window. Amara threw her arms around Rileys shoulders and hugged her enthusiastically, for she had missed her recently made friend.

The two had met at a sleepover that was held not so long ago by another friend which Amara had only just met. Riley and Amara got along well together however they hadn't seen each other for some time since the sleepover and Amara had missed her company. She enjoyed the presence of Haku however it was nice to have another female around her at times.

"Yes I am here to do the job, are you also here for the same reason? If so I guess that makes us partners! Awesome!" Amara grinned then laughed as she watched Riley attempt  to help Haku off of the floor only to be ignored by him and pushed away whilst the dragon boy snarled, "I can get up myself!"

Before the Theo, the small wolf like creature belonging to Riley, could pounce on Amara, Haku quickly intercepted and knocked the animal away from her. His eyes were filled with fury as her turned to Riley and demanded, "Why have you brought this mutt here!?!?"
Amara jumped backwards, shaking in fear as Haku stepped forward to Riley. Words could not describe the way she felt towards this animal. She would kill it if only she had a knife or some sort of weapon with her, without a second thought to what effect it would have on Riley...

...The mood in the room had changed almost instantly...

Riley was surprised at the boy's sudden behavior. Her gaze shifted to Amara who was currently trembling in fear with her sight fixed upon Theo. She instantly realized what the boy had meant. She did not know that Amara was afraid of Theo, then again, it is natural to be afraid of a wolf. She looked at her young friend before bending down and petting him "Theo, go back to guildhall and stay there until i get back from this mission. Okay?" Theo looked sad but he knew that he couldn't stay here.

He quickly rushed out the door. Riley was slightly worried because Theo was not a combat pet and couldn't defend himself but she had to trust him. He knew his way to the guildhall and now all she could do was hope that he's safe. Riley was quite sad as she doesn't like to go on missions without her friend but she put on a serious face and looked at Amara "I'm sorry. I didn't know that you were scared of wolves. If I did I would never have brought Theo here. Let's not let this affect our mission. okay?" She might have not been very happy with the idea of her young friend leaving but the sincerity was evident in her words.

She was about to open her mouth to say something once again but the shuffling noises stopped her. She quickly turned around and listened carefully. She could hear footsteps rushing towards the house. But how many, that she did not know........

'Monster Dice' :

Riley seemed surprised at Haku's behavior, however Amara didnt comment on this, neither did Haku, they were both used to people having this reaction towards him. Rileys gaze shifted to Amara, by the looks of things she had finally realized that Amara really did not like her pet.
Amara watched with keen eyes, as did Haku, as Riley petted her companion and spoke to him, telling him to go back to the guild hall of Saber Tooth. She didnt mean to cause problems for her dear friend from another guild but she seriously could not stand Theo at all. If she could suck it up and deal with it she would.

Her muscles relaxed as the wolf like creature dashed out of the door and out of sight, she left much more comfortable now. Letting out a sigh of relief she straightened up and smiled weakly at Riley, "Hehe, sorry for being a drama queen. I... I just dont really like animals like Theo... As you can see." Her smile turned into a grin and small laugh as she rubbed the back of her neck, looking at Riley with her bright eyes. As Riley apologized Amara waved her hands out in front of her, "No no no! Please dont apologize you did nothing wrong, it is not your fault. Do not worry I am fine, it will not affect anything. I was just a bit shaken."

Riley was clearly about to say something else but stopped suddenly. Amara and Haku had also sensed it a bit earlier than Riley, and were nodding at each other with their eyes locked for a brief moment. In no time a soft, golden light had surrounded Haku and disappeared seconds later revealing a grand dragon in Haku's place. Amara nodded once more and shot out of the room, grabbing hold of Rileys wrist and running out of the room with her.

Riley was glad to know that Amara was alright now, but it saddened her that Theo was not here. She never went on a job without him, other than the times when the job is very dangerous. But right now, her matter of concern was the absurd sounds coming from outside the house. Before she could do anything or say something, her eyes slightly widened as the boy has turned into a dragon. She wasn't very surprised to be honest, she lives in a land of magic after all. She felt a tug on her hand as Amara grabbed it and ran out of the room with her. Riley didn't argue, instead she started running herself. They soon reached outside, where they were met with the disturbing faces of men, whom she assumed were the thieves. 

She was sort of surprised to see that only three of them had shown up. Riley had a thought, what if they were just distracting them, while the other thieves sneaked into the house and stole something. She couldn't be sure of that. Right now, she had to defeat these goons. She looked them over once. They didn't seem all that powerful, but the weapons in their hands may be somewhat of a problem. Depends on how well they are skilled, which Riley assumed wasn't much. she may be underestimating their skills but she won't know until they prove it. Luckily, it was an even match. Three against three. Riley had Haku and Amara there with her. The three thugs launched at the trio. The one that was aiming for Riley, was a short scrubby man who held an ancient looking classical sword. He slashed at her but she swiftly dodged his attack. He kept slashing, his speed increasing with every slash. Riley knew she couldn't just keep dodging. She stood there and inhaled the air before using a dragon slayers signature spell. "Ice dragon roar!" Escaping her mouth was a gush of light blue wind. Riley had aimed before she shot, so the ice covered only the mans body.
