Life....Yah.

This is neither an intro thread nor a farewell thread. It's more like an announcement or uhm notice of whatever going through my head. Ok so...today, I had my whole family sit with me for an hour and give me a lecture on the important things in life. They wanted me to think of my future and were clearly displeased about me spending my time on internet doing nothing for my life.....and I can't blame them....They are obviously looking out for me and trying to make sure I end up somewhere good. It had me thinking and I sort of am destroying my life...But, this place and RPing in general is very important for me and so, I have decided that I will only be here on weekends. I will be doing my staff duties and RPing on Saturdays and Sundays.....I need to calm myself down and start studying seriously....much more seriously. I know this might put some people in difficulty...especially staff but hey o-o I'll be doing everything I can't do on weekdays on Saturdays and Sundays. I can't figure out another way to balance everything....

Why do you do this to me ;-;

Ever thought about showing your parents the things you are doing on the internet? Imo, one of the largest concerns parents have is not knowing what their children are doing, and thus, being concerned of the uncertainty. I sure as hell know that that is what my parents are usually concerned about >.>

Just a thought. But perhaps presenting to your parents the community here, as well as the things going on here such as creative writing and progressive narration, may put them in a different mood regarding your time on the internet. It's obviously not healthy to spend large amounts of time of the day/week on the site, in one place, sitting around waiting for people to post. But I'm sure if you just limit the amount of time of the day you are on here, as well as showing your parents that what you are doing here is not harmful, or destructive at all (on the contrary, it can actually be quite helpful as well as creatively stimulating) you can definitely make your old guys see that the time you spend on the internet is not just doing nothing.

With that said, good luck with your studies (:

real life always comes first. take care of your business and we'll be awaiting your return with pies and cake.

you should show all your creative work o3o, but yeah try to find a ballance jsut do work when your on chat and youll get there dont worry!
