    Job Details:

It had not been long since the apperance of Ladon, and his catastrophe amongst the innocent citizens of Clover Town. Though times were harsh and pitiful, it was still a good time to meet up with everyone; whether they were from Blue Pegasus, another guild, or elsewhere in Fiore. Albeit, this combination proved the nation was far better than a hundred dragons, though they did put up a good fight. In fact, since then, Ayato felt as though he had a lot to work with; a lot to improve about himself. This was ultimately the purpose for Ayato to approach a request board, and snatch what seemed to be a heavy task for a D-Ranked mage. Nonetheless, Ayato accepted it, anyway. He needed to challenge himself, and really prove that he was a true wizard, regardless of what his own guild-master had told him previously.

The journey began the moment Ayato woke up the following day. Birds chirped in harmony with one another, and a song of peace was formed; a soothing sound that would put a smile on any waking face. The sun shined brightly, and while it may have irritated Ayato a bit, it was good to know another adventure had begun. Ayato was grateful to have his own home, regardless of being alone. This place used to be lonely, though at this point, Ayato was meeting tons of people here. Citizens would surround his door in thanks for other duties he had completed, and generally for his protection over their well-being. Ayato loved the people of this town, and his feelings would never change. Much had changed about him, of course, but his feelings for others had not. He was finally recognized in many areas of Fiore, despite how weak and young he was. It was a great feeling to hold, but one to always assure would grow as time passed.

Once Ayato woke up, he immediately went to take a shower. It was not exactly a shower, actually. Because Ayato lived in a log house, his residence had no shower, and so he would always have to walk towards a bathhouse nearby. He proceeded there on a daily basis obviously, and so much so that the employees had given him his own spot scheduled for the exact same time of the day. Ayato was as grateful to these people as they were most likely towards him. When Ayato reached the bathhouse, he was escorted to the change room for his desired placement. He grabbed some warm, white towels that the employees always provided, and headed straight for the steamy water. Here, he simply enjoyed himself while getting hot for a bit and relaxed for approximately ten minutes before finally cleansing himself. After this, he walked outside the bath, and dried himself off. He slipped on his usual attire for missions, and was on his way down a new path he had never been before. It was strange how Ayato was sort or rushing today, bringing both his morning attire and noon attire to the bathrouse. Perhaps he was eager to complete this mission, and get it over with as soon as possible. While he pondered thoughts, Ayato found no other reason to act in such a manner.

The destination during this time was Beanstalk Village; a village that would require a very long trip from where Ayato settled. He travelled back to his log house, and sent a message out for some transportation to the village by horse. This was the typical form of travel nowadays, so Ayato figured he would try it out after being granted a ride from others for so long. It was surprising to see both how quickly these transportation sights would receive the message, and how they would respond. In minutes, Ayato found the horse before him, and immediately sat in the carousel to carry him over to the location. As the horse dashed, Ayato took the time to look over the job details. Demons were forming themselves from crops, apparently, and ruining what farmers desired most of their establishments. Ayato was quite mad to read over the description, but as a Mage, he had to deal with it, anyways. More people needed his help, and help these people would definitely receive!

Hours later, Ayato arrived in the Beanstalk Village. Immediate shame rose on his face as he realized how poor the farms looked. There was a huge lack of crops, though nobody seemed to be around to a give a reason for their absences. The fields were a mess, with broken crops all over the place, and only every third plant stood upright, still firmly on soil. Ayato vowed to find the source responsible for all of this, and punish it, regardless of the form it came in; animate or inanimate. The job details Ayato read through held no suspects for the crime, itself, and so Ayato had no choice but to put himself forward into the fields, and risk whatever dangers that may come from his movements.

Carefully, Ayato strolled through the fields. In the beginning, there were no problems with sudden encounters or even more crops dispersing- none of that. Everything seemed too quiet, which left Ayato in awe, wondering if the source was even inside the fields. He continued to wander through the aisles, yet there was still nothing. Ayato was coming closer and closer to the first farm, yet nothing was happening. However, once Ayato reached the farm, he found there were no signs of anyone inside. He sighed in disbelief, then looked back. He gasped as even more crops had fallen, yet the cause had removed itself from the scene too quickly for his eyes to catch. Ayato felt endangered after this new event, and so paced through the fields faster than usual. He kept moving until he was back to the path that led him here. The horse-back rider was frightened, while the horse was bruised. This situation became so problematic to Ayato that both the horses and the horse--back rider decided to abandon the Mage. Ayato sighed again, though once he looked back, something new had appeared.

Before Ayato's eyes suddenly were ten, giant tomatoes with a heads, arms and legs. Their presences looked demonic, which worried the man a bit. Was he facing the devil in vegetable form? When he thought about it further, his description of these monsters made him laugh. How pathetic. Vegetables attempting to rid Ayato of his life. The only problem Ayato had to deal with was the fact that these tomatoes were much taller than he was, and were now animate. The job details had informed him of their potential, which made Ayato smirk. If Ayato teased these tomatoes enough, he figured he would annoy them into using their powers, which would give him the chance to use his own spells. "Always thought you could eat us, but now we are going to eat you!" a single tomato remarked, "Whatever. It's not like a slim figure such as yourself could possibly defeat us, anyways. Why did you even dare to come to these fields. Are you here to commit suicide, sir?" These tomatoes were getting on Ayato's nerves, and so he prepared himself with his book and sword to fight.

"Show this slim figure what you've got!" Ayato commented, "I will make you wish you were never brought to this world...pitiful veggies..." This was when Ayato did a front flip, and sliced through a single tomato vertically, then horizontally to remove it from the problem, though splatter sauce on himself, in return. There were now nine tomatoes left to deal with. The tomatoes became angry, and their leader ordered them to encircle Ayato. This reminded him of other scenarios when his enemies thought they could win by outnumbering the boy. Unfortunately, those fools were always wrong. One of the nine tomatoes fired ketchup towards Ayato, in which case he countered with his first spell. 'Unsheathed Seeker!" Ayato cried.

The cry of a spell created a black hole in the sky, which redirected incoming ketchup upwards, and into the vortex, itself. Though seven other lively tomatoes were well-capable of performing the same move as the tomato Ayato had just countered, the spell Ayato had used was convenient in more than one sense. Before the one tomato Ayato had intercepted could make another movement, however, Ayato was there to slice right through another tomato, and kill it. He would not allow a tomato to make a second attempt on him without beating another, and surely would not allow these seven remaining tomatoes to roam freely. No, Ayato was still perfectly on his feet, and ready to rumble. From this point, Ayato had to make a dash as the tomatoes began to surround him, and anticipate his moves quite well. They knew how skillful he was with swords, and so they kept their distance. Ayato had to rush them so they could not be too distant from his attacks.

While one tomato attempted to back itself up, Ayato sprinted towards it, and slashed through it, having it drop to the ground instantly, dead. There were now six remaining tomatoes for Ayato to fight. Meanwhile, Ayato quickly saw that this tomato he had defeated was a decoy so the two beside to unleash their power. Ayato swiftly launched himself upwards, and witnessed the fifth and sixth collide unintentionally. Unfortunately, they were immune to their own strengths, which meant neither were harmed. Ayato sighed, and prepared for the next plan. The tomato whom Ayato had impacted with his previous spell, Unsheathed Seeker, tried to fire more ketchup at him, which triggered his second spell. "Judgment!" Ayato called, reflecting the tomato's attack with perfect accuracy, and splashing the ketchup on it, instead. The repositioned ketchup dealt no damage, though it left a stun point on the tomato, disabling its movement temporarily. On the contrary, that tomato would not get another moment to move as Ayato pierced his sword right through it, and left it to die amongst the ground. Five tomatoes still existed for another assault.

Ayato continued to unleash his rampage amongst the remaining tomatoes, though he had noticed a new formation they had assembled altogether. "Crap!" Ayato shouted as all five tomatoes suddenly spurted their magic all at once in his direction, sending him flying through the crops. Each of their attacks packed quite the punch, which left Ayato in quite a miserable state. He used his lineage just in case any wounds would form from their attacks, while he also poked his index finger with the edge of his sword to awaken his Immortal Blood. Half of his energy felt wasted from that single combination, which made Ayato furious. "Take this!" Ayato yelled, his sword gliding right through a tomato while the blood splattered over it, and onto another tomato. His blood tainted the tomato, and actually left it to rot to nothing as it stood. Three tomatoes remained, though their lives were short as Ayato finally gained the inner strength to annihilate them all.

"Ryukogeki Swordsmanship... Ayato muttered. This style of sword mastery was a quick, two-time assault. First it slashed horizontally, perfectly aligned with all three tomatoes, the force powerful enough for Ayato to also make a clean cut upwards, and wreck all of the remaining tomatoes. This entire set of animated fruits were eliminated at this point, though Ayato knew there were other groups coming. This pack of ten seemed too easy, after all. To kill most of them simply with a sword was pretty pathetic, anyway. Though, as Ayato expected, something else did arrive, and was prepared to kill him, if need be. Perhaps it was the one truly responsible for this mess, or rather more living vegetables or fruits. Albeit, Ayato was prepared to ruin them a thousand times over.

Post by Alito 20th February 2015, 12:36 pm

Ayato grinned at the new presence of enemies coming his way. So were not, in fact, the enemy he was most expecting, but rather another group of tomatoes, and some corn. Ayato taunted the new team of tomatoes by further slicing through the already-defeated tomatoes, making more bits out of them. Mind you, he still felt a ton of damage inside, almost as if half of his strength had been drained, though he had lots of willpower, and would not allow these pests to see his change in health. He felt fear, at this point, though he understood that fear is what shows weakness to the beholder, which the beholder should, in turn, recreate into a new strength; pride. That's right! From this point onwards, Ayato had a new sense of pride, and would bestow it amongst these evil, animated objects!

Two of Ayato's four legendary Chapter One spells from his Story of the Sword series had been used, which had awakened the third, devastating spell. On the contrary, Ayato wondered if he had the guts to use it. This spell required the full determination of the user, and a mindset of pure victory. However, during this time, Ayato felt iffy about the situation. Fifteen animated objects faced him, and were ready to rid him of his life. He was outnumbered majorly, which made him imagine an even better assembly of attacks coming his way. These new corn sets seemed even more fearsome than the tomatoes, and Ayato was sure the corn were far more intelligent than the tomatoes. What would his guild members think if they saw Ayato right now? This thought made Ayato laugh his curiosity off, and make him feel as bright as day.

"No matter how many enemies you bring upon me, I swear, I will get rid of you all. Bring forth the worst, for even that will not defeat me!" Ayato remarked, "As a member of Blue Pegasus, I will never fail. There are too many warm-hearted folks waiting for me at home, and I will not become absent due to some crazy food. So, how about it? Let's continue this fight so I can win already, and get this day over with?" The corn became especially angry, while all of the tomatoes charged in. To anticipate, Ayato charged in, as well, with full speed, his sword prepared to run through all of the incoming red brats. Additionally, as soon as the sword would collide with the first tomato, the book alongside the sword shined brightly. "Come, Daisuke!" Ayato announced, the book becoming its own physical being, though Ayato still held his own. The book's true name was Daisuke, and was not identical to Ayato, but rather more fearsome. Obviously Daisuke knew how to use his own book better than Ayato, which only meant a more guaranteed loss for these demons ahead.

    Updated Stats:

Simultaneous attacks were launched upon the corn and even more worthless tomatoes as Ayato- alongside his new partner Daisuke- ran through them mercilessly, cutting through them bit by bit. They were no longer tolerant of these living fruits and vegetables, and ultimately focused on the Mage responsible for all of us. The two needed to see him, and were eager to witness him crying in defeat. They were stressed enough fighting these ridiculous demons, and were drawn into the end of this mission, already, tired of what laid ahead of them in the present time. While Ayato fought, he took quick glimpses of Daisuke. So this is what his book looked like in human form! Amazing! Ayato wondered if there would ever be a transformation like this for his sword, though after further consideration, Ayato felt as though two heads were enough. Besides, the book always seemed eager to fight on its own, whereas the sword enjoyed fighting alongside Ayato. There were two great differences aside from this matter between the book and sword. The book's purpose was to activate a spell, then channel it into the sword to resolve. Meanwhile, the sword's purpose was to take grasp of whatever sword was channeled, and unleash it at maximum strength. Therefore, the book was the supplementary item while the sword was obviously the offensive weapon; this is how it all worked!

Daisuke and Ayato were able to communicate with each other like brothers as the fight went on, and could even talk to each other telepathically as the fight went on. The sword had its own voice too, though while Daisuke was active in human form, the sword could only talk to its owner: Seitenshi Ayato. The sword had become envious, which it was why it was performing such a brilliant performance. Ayato could also tell Daisuke was taking this jealousy into account, and intentionally fighting at full throttle to make that jealously grow endlessly. There was going to be quite the family meeting after this trip, though for now, Ayato needed all of the help he could get, even if it meant anger between an animate and inanimate object. Mind you, the book was still in Ayato's grasp during this time, though it no longer held a soul. The soul was Daisuke, and as of now, he was fighting better than Ayato! While Ayato continued to torture the corn and tomatoes, he wondered how on earth Daisuke was performing better than himself. However, soon after this thought, Ayato had an epiphany. He forgot how the book had granted him a very short opportunity in the past to discover every era known to mankind. Perhaps Daisuke had secretly fought throughout all of these separate generations, and had learned his skills from there before becoming an ancient book! If this were true, than it would take Ayato a million years to compare to Daisuke's power. "Move! Move! Move!" Ayato cheered, "There is no end to this fight until the crops start growing again!"

And the two continued to fight as if there were no tomorrow. They were actually scaring off the corn and tomatoes with their constant, merciless cuts through their friends and family, though neither cared. As long as the corn and tomatoes were possessed by demons, the two had no choice but to kill them off. The fruits and vegetables were screaming in pain as Ayato and Daisuke tried to cut through them a thousand ways, assuring even the already-defeated were dead. No magic was necessary as long as the two could vitally slash through these pests with their swords. Eventually, however, a great force hit both Ayato and Daisuke. "So this is how it feels to split a soul in two!" Ayato thought aloud, also in pain, "I feel like half of my energy has suddenly vanished! My magic feels so much weaker, as well!" This was the ultimate cost for casting forth Daisuke. Daisuke was once a part of Ayato's own soul, and could always rest idle in his soul again. However, if Daisuke ever wanted to see his human form, for that form to be perfect, half of Ayato's energy always needed to be transferred into it, and whatever amount of energy that may be would end up being Daisuke's own for the meantime. Therefore, both felt weak. On the other hand, Ayato knew this was the only way to conquer such big sets of enemies so easily. He had no other choice, and would have to find a way to discard this miserable force before proceeding towards the next hazard.

It then came to mind that Ayato would need to regrow these crops once the mission was over...

    Updated Stats:

Ayato observed the farm after both corn and tomato were defeated. He sighed heavily, thanking God that somehow, he flew over the crops, and left them in good shape. The farmer would have refused to give a reward for the mission if Ayato damaged the untamed crops, after all. He looked over to Daisuke, feeling very weak still after that division. Both Ayato and Daisuke felt weak, actually. Ayato felt like he was going to collapse in the next hour, though he wondered if Daisuke remembered how it felt to be low on energy too. Perhaps as someone who had been locked in a book for so long, Daisuke would feel unaffected by these matters, unable to recognize the sensation. Ayato looked ahead, and saw that ten more corn demons were slowly approaching the two from afar. It was surprising to see that these demons were not destroying the other crops, though they had eaten some of them already to become lively as such. Perhaps they did not want to damage the crops so the Mage behind all of his had more material to use for his Plant Demons. Ayato clinched his teeth angrily at this thought until he felt Daisuke's hand on his shoulder. Everything was going to be okay. Even if Ayato did collapse at the end of this mission, at least he would wake up eventually with peace across this farm.

Ayato stretched himself out a bit while the Plant Demons were still at a distance, and remained sure he could still fight for a little while. After this, he took a wild stare at the new groups of corn, and dashed at them with full force. "No matter how much you hurt me, I will get back up eventually!" Ayato shouted, "Don't you dare think you will win this battle, because once I defeat you and your own, you will wish you never lived!" Now that Ayato had beaten a big group of corn already, he knew exactly where to hit these guys to knock them silly in a single strike. Ayato brought his sword to the right, then swung it to the left to slice through the corn in perfect alignment. During this time, Daisuke was also there to slice through the flying chunks of corn vertically, though in the process, Daisuke received one of the corn's powers against his chest, and fell back. "Don't you weaklings ever feel like success is your way..." A corn muttered before death. Daisuke laid there on the ground, crops surrounding him. "This is the end for me in this battle..." Daisuke commented before he passed out on the ground. Tears formed in Ayato's eyes, then streamed down his face. He did not want to be alone in this fight, though no matter how much he whined, he knew under these circumstances, he had no choice. Another hit would leave Daisuke dead, which would mean Ayato would literally lose half of his soul. That, and his book would always be useless. Ayato could never allow that, and so he let Daisuke rest. These Plant Demons were going to pay!

    Updated Stats:

Ayato took the time while the Plant Demons were gone to gather all of the remains of the plants he had conquered earlier in this mission. He was going to replant them in soil, then find a water source to help them grow again. They deserved to be up and lively, anyway; not dead because they were possessed by magic, and turned into demons. Ayato spent only a few minutes doing this, the pieces of tomatoes and corn in a pile before from a distance, Ayato saw a dark cloaked man with a long beard. So this was him! This was the Mage behind all of this- though he did look a lot older than Ayato had predicted. Albeit, this man was trouble! If the job details profiled this man correctly, this man was skilled with Curse Magic. Who knew what that meant, but no matter what, Ayato had to defeat this wizard! He had no choice after what he had done! "This is where your journey ends, youngster!" The man spoke in a cracked voice, "Once I beat you, I'm going to experiment with your body to see if you can turn into one of those too! What would you like to be lad? A fruit or vegetable? Tomato or corn?" The wizard was laughing hysterically after this, though Ayato couldn't take it.

Daisuke was still passed out, and it was safe to say he would probably be unconscious for a while. Daisuke had done so much for Ayato, and yet he ended up like this. This was the first time Daisuke had presented himself in human form, and already, he was at a loss- all because of Ayato. Ayato clinched his teeth again, and threw himself at the wizard with full force, his sword backed up to do a perfect swing on the wizard. This was going to be it! This was going to be Ayato's victory, though something was wrong! The wizard was not moving! Why? Then it appeared in a split second. There was a grin on the wizard's face, which made Ayato stop in his tracks. "What's so funny?" Ayato asked in a demanding tone. The wizard continued to laugh. Ayato growled, and dabbed the edge of his sword's blade into his index finger. Blood ran over the blade just as other enemies had seen in the past. This was the power of Immortal Blood- no- the Pride of a Mercenary! Another heal was used by Ayato's lineage to restore bodily wounds. Ayato felt fresh on his feet again, though he intentionally acted as if the healing did nothing. "Ha! Too weak to even use a skill, sir? This is as far as you go!" The wizard commented. The wizard pointed his finger in Ayato's direction, and soon...

Ayato found himself unable to see what was ahead, though he possessed four other senses. He was blind due to the wizard's Curse Magic, frankly, and found himself on the ground, heavily weakened. Ayato felt at a loss. This wizard was going to kill him! Everything Ayato had done in the past for his friends, all of this would vanish with his life, similar to his miserable days as a little boy cursed by a demon. How funny. Ayato had been cursed in the past, where he once felt defeated, and now he felt defeated too during this time, also infected with a curse. The wizard was laughing wildly, knowing his odds at winning this battle were incredibly high. Ayato had defeated so many enemies to save this farm, yet here this wizard was, in the position to defeat Ayato once and for all, and claim the murder of a Legal Mage. It was then, luckily, that Ayato had an epiphany. I am the protagonist of the greatest story!" Ayato thought in his mind, Last time I checked, a great story does not end incomplete!" Ayato smashed a fist into the ground, and used his arm to boost himself up. "Though I cannot see...I am still going to beat you..." Ayato muttered. This made the wizard laugh even harder than before. Surely, Ayato had provoked the Mage into using his last move on Ayato, though just as he was about to move, Ayato felt a heap of dirt splat itself on his face. This sudden hit of dirt must have been the movement of the wizard. Ayato smiled, and swiftly lunged his book forwards. "Gah!" The wizard shouted, the vibration of something hitting the ground passing Ayato's heard as he heard a thud. He must have knocked the wizard silly, and so Ayato used the time to help himself up even more.

Though Ayato felt really weak on his legs, he was still going to win! There was no doubt about it! This old man was going to lose, regardless of how much pain Ayato had suffered because of him. Those tomatoes, the corn; both had done severe damage to Ayato and Daisuke in the past, though peace was about to cover this land. "You made the farmer sad..." Ayato spoke, "You made an enemy out of my friend, and any enemy of a friend is an enemy of mine!" Ayato felt the smell of something old and bitter run upwards, and into his nose. From what Ayato could assume, this was the smell of the old man, meaning he was right in front of Ayato. If Ayato also calculated the wizard's previous movements correctly, the thing that had fallen over was the Mage, himself, as something as loud as a thud could not mean a crop, fruit or plant had fallen, but rather the sound of a body collided with the surface. Ayato rose his sword, then attempted to stab his sword five inches ahead of himself. If this worked...

(The Block Dice will represent the wizard's movement)

Ayato successfully stabbed his sword into the wizard's back, the blood from his blade ran into the wound of the Mage ahead. Once the blood made contact, it sunk into the wound, and infected it. How ironic. The wizard had infected Ayato just a few minutes ago, and now, Ayato had infected the wizard, in return. "We are going home alive...Daisuke..." Ayato remarked, "As for this old hag, he will be heading elsewhere..." Now that Ayato had his sword pierced into the wizard's back, he felt constant roars coming from the Mage in front of him. This was amazing for Ayato. He was extremely weak and blind, yet he was going to win this fight, after all. Ayato used the sword to keep his body upright, then lifted his foot to constantly stomp harshly on the wizard's back. "You are going to pay for what you did!" Ayato yelled, pounding on the wizard's back a total of five times blind while the wizard was already down. He could hear the heavy gasping of the wizard. Nevertheless, he made his poundings more violent. He moved from the back to the wizard's head, then stomped on that a couple of times too! "Just as you may of thought of killing me, I will not kill you..." Ayato added, "However, there will be a ton of punishment to face in the Magic Council dungeon. Luckily for you, I won't be there..." Ayato moved back to knocking on the wizard's back with his foot until he could no longer hear the wizard's roaring and utmost anger. The curse had worn off, as a result, and Ayato could see again.

The wizard was out cold, but not dead. The poison ran throughout the wizard's body so he could not response with any sudden maneuvers, though Ayato had confirmed the wizard unconscious, anyways. He approached the farm, and saw that the farmer was actually peeking out of the barn door. He was mad by the situations that had unfolded, though he was glad Ayato was here to rid of this nightmare. While Ayato's vision was recovering, he was handed a mighty aid of water to support the crops around the farm. Ayato pouted jokingly, accepted the water, and walked amongst the farm. The man surely deserved all of this assistance after what had happened to his crops, though thankfully, none were damaged. If anything, that huge pounding from the tomatoes earlier only swayed the crops backwards for a moment before they returned to their normal state. Meanwhile, Ayato saw that the farmer was trying to call out for the Magic Council by using Lacrima. Ayato sighed happily, and wandered through the field of crops, pouring water on each and every single one of them. This took him an hour or two, and every so often, Ayato would collapse, though the farmer was there to bring him up again. This felt like a punishment for Ayato, though he did not mind. Ayato knew why he was putting him to more work; Ayato needed the strength back. Once Ayato had reached the tomatoes and corns, he harvested them into the ground, then poured water atop them, as well. All of these crops were going to grow beautifully in the future, and this time, unpossessed by dumb Mages such as the one unconscious, at the moment. The sword had been removed long ago, though the wizard was still put under a long rest. Once a successful three hours had passed, the Magic Council was here to heal the wounds on the wizard, though restrain him while they put him in a mobile dungeon on the way home. They also offered Ayato a ride home, though before he accepted their offer, he approached the farmer again to gain his reward. This was definitely the worst mission Ayato had even been through, though he did not tell the farmer that. All he did was accept the reward, then head home as mentioned before. He was going to need a long snooze by the time he was back in Clover Town...

Post by Alito 22nd February 2015, 12:59 pm

Once Ayato was in Clover Town, he noticed that as soon as he got off of the transport, he collapsed. It seemed as though Ayato had done far too much work for his body to handle, and so he put himself in such as a state as the one he was currently suffering. Everyone surrounding him trembled in fear while they were out, wondering if the wizard had done anything drastic to him before their fight ended. However, nothing had really happened aside from the fact that Ayato was once completely blind. Albeit, the Magic Council had him sent to an infirmary. He was treated like a first-class guest, having been rushed into an emergency room as fast as possible while he was out. Fiore had good people, after all it seemed, with a good community to help the helpless. Luckily, Ayato was asleep, or else he would be embarrassed by the fact that he was currently considered helpless.

While Ayato was unconscious, he dreamed of what seemed to be his ideal self. He was upon the rooftops of his guild, and a crowd surrounded the building, congratulating him for earning a certain title. Ayato was dumbfounded by what was happening until someone took a step next to him. "Amnesia?" The person wondered. Ayato had no idea what was going on with him, and so he simply nodded. A book of Ayato's history was handed to him, which Ayato scrolled through. There was one exam, two exams, three exams, four exams, and some kind of task Ayato had never heard of. Wait a minute: four exams! Ayato could not even remember taking one! Had he even taken an exam before? This was when Ayato felt a finger hit itself in between his eyes, and before Ayato knew it, he was in another dream.

This second dream was in the Serene Cliffs. Somebody stood before him, requesting that he fight, though Ayato could not see a purpose behind all of this. "This is what an exam is like!" A familiar voice spoke cheerfully, "All you have to do is fight! Regardless of whether you win or lose to this person, you will be evaluated, and hopefully, just hopefully, you will be pushed up to the next rank!" A smirk grew on Ayato's face as he already admired this sort of challenge. So this was an exam! Ayato was very excited, though at the same time, he had to be really serious about the brawl. This person looked really tough, and so Ayato had to unravel an excellent performance!

The man charged in, though Ayato was there to counter. "Is that all you got!" Ayato commented before he took his fist, and pounded it against the back of the man's head. However, just as he did this, Ayato was pushed back by a sudden gust of wind. This gust of wind was familiar, though Ayato knew not of who it belonged to. He only recognized this wind due to someone he had fought recently, and only one name came up: Viola. "Somebody put you up to the challenge?" Ayato asked. Unfortunately, all the person could do was nod before Ayato vanished once again. He pouted, predicting that he was going to have to visit every exam until he would be back on that rooftop. And indeed, here he was. Ayato was in the same field, though with different people, and this gust of wind still existent. Ayato put his arm before his head, and slowly proceeded through the heavy winds. People were laughing at him, though Ayato ignored them all. He could not allow some wind to take him out! No! Not like that damn dark wizard! Before he knew it though, Ayato was blind again, and pushed back at an even more extreme force. The gust of wind grew exponentially, and soon after, Ayato was flying everywhere.

Ayato could not help but continuing soaring. He felt like a bird, though he was unable to return to the surface. Again, everyone was laughing at him, and this time, Ayato held no comeback verbally. He did look like a joke as he flew in all directions. The Mage he was fighting joked even further, and clapped his hands, calling off his gust of wind while Ayato was way up high. Ayato could not control himself while he was descending swiftly, nor did he have the time to break the fall. However, just before he was about to hit the ground, a tornado formed before him. God, how Ayato was getting so tired of it. However, just as Ayato was getting too bored of getting knocked into the sky, the same dang voice appeared. "Let's move somewhere else!" The voice advised. Ayato nodded, and the two disappeared.

Where Ayato appeared next was another nightmare. Shadows already surrounded him, and Ayato was literally sinking through the ground. Shadows! This must have been him! "Ayeseru!" Ayato shouted, "These shadows are ticklish! Stop it!" Ayeseru was only laughing like the rest before Ayato found himself underground. A train powered by Lacrima was in front of him now, which Ayato took in hopes of escaping the scene. Indeed it had, though Ayato found himself in the Serene Cliffs. Of course, shortly after, the shadows found him again. Ayato was laughing again while the shadows absorbed him through the ground. Damn it! Ayato was hating this beyond belief!

Post by Alito 22nd February 2015, 1:29 pm

Ayato finally found himself dropping from a shadow in the sky, where he plummeted eventually to the ground. "FAIL!" Ayeseru shouted. The crowd rushed towards Ayato and smacked him across the face multiple times before Ayato pushed them all away. He walked away miserable, crying big tears that were actually too big for his head. This had to be a dream if tears were so ridiculous. The voice appeared again and transported him to the next exam. Shuhei was there, thankfully, though Ayato felt as though this battle would be a lot worse...

And indeed it was. Ayato was immediately blasted in the stomach by white light, and sent into the space. "Well this is fun..." Ayato commented. He was having the worst time of his time, having a white light endlessly penetrate him in the gut. He hated two of these fantasized Blue Pegasus guild members now. They were so mean! They were hurting him so much, though in the outside world, Ayato would not be harmed at all. "FAIL!" Another voice called. From what Ayato remembered, there was only one exam left before this whole tragedy would end, though he wondered who would take him on next. There was somebody not even from his guild- Viola- then Ayeseru, then Shuhei, so who next? Ayato wondered, though the voice aside him teased him, and did not allow him to teleport elsewhere until Ayato was on a different planet. Aliens started attacking him, and spat on him in a crazy manner. "I am dreaming! I am dreaming! I am dreaming! I am SCARED!" Ayato remarked. Finally, the feminine voice aside him teleported him elsewhere, where he could actually float peacefully upon the sky.

Post by Alito 22nd February 2015, 1:41 pm

Before Ayato at this point was finally Zack, someone he had fought in cooperation to defeat a portion of Ladon. However, just like the others, this Zack seemed far too rude fantasized to be the actual Zack. Unlike the others, this Zack was going insane, wiping the floor with Ayato as he sent Ayato flying through trees, with enough force to crush them all whenever Ayato came into contact with one. After seven trees, Ayato finally dropped to the ground, with absolutely no energy left, nor motivation to move. He could not speak, nor was his vision good at all. Then it all dawned before him. He was having true nightmares. This was what it felt like to be defeated in so many ways. Ayato knew these people would not punish him like they were now, and once he thought about it, Zack was substituted with the dark wizard he encountered in the farm. "Time to say goodbye, kid! A failure does not deserve to live!" Ayato gasped after a staff pierced through him fully, though in the outside world, Ayato was still in an unharmed state. Ayato looked down, and saw a gigantic wound in his chest. His vision became more and more blurry until he could no longer see a thing. Even a lame, imaginary health bar above had reduced to nothing, and indicated death after Ayato dropped unconscious. This was incredibly strange now. Ayato was unconscious both in his dreams, and in reality.

This was when Ayato flashed into the guild hall, where the only thing standing before him was a statue of the founder. The founder could talk, obviously, considering this was a dream, though its true appearance was hidden. It spoke about potential, and how Ayato should look highly, no matter what scenario he was in. Whether he was to fight Shuhei, Zack or Ayeseru sometime in the future, he always had to persevere. He would not give up until he could no longer move; until the last portion of energy in his soul vanished. This was but one portion of Blue Pegasus' code, and perhaps the smallest portion of all. Ayato smiled towards the founder, and bumped fists with him. "Let's meet in the afterlife, founder!" Ayato cheered, "Unfortunately for you, I don't plan to die soon! In fact, expect to wait a long, long time, okay?" The founder nodded, and the voice appeared once more. "Time to return home!" The voice cheered. Ayato finally woke up, though he was surprised to see where reality had taken him.

A New Task [Solo/Private] Empty Re: A New Task [Solo/Private]

Post by Alito 22nd February 2015, 1:53 pm

Ayato was hyperventilating when he woke up, astonished by that whole series of dreams. What the hell had happened? He was so embarrassed by the fact that the dark wizard he defeated made him that scared. Had he even been more scared before. "Where am I?" Ayato asked of the people standing before him. The people chose not to respond as Ayato looked around. He was in an infirmary, and he was hooked up by all sorts of Lacrima to keep him down, but why? Healing magic surrounded his body as he was held down to the bed- probably because the nurses expected him to freak out. Ayato simply chuckled, and thanked the nurses for taking care of him. This was until Ayato found out how long he was going to be here for. "Do you guys like me that much?" Ayato joked. In response, however, a nurse slapped him in the face, and continued to heal him immediately after. Ayato sighed, and decided not to say a single, immature response afterwards.

He tilted his head over, and closed his eyes, though he did not plan to fall asleep again. "Hey!" A young voice called. Ayato opened his eyes again, and saw a little girl holding onto his head. She looked worried, which made Ayato laugh somewhat. "I'm okay buddy..." Ayato replied in a low tone. The little girl began to cry and hugged him tightly. Ayato was glad he was appreciated so much in this town, despite living in the middle of nowhere, and being of the lowest rank in his guild. He never expected people to care for him this much, and particularly recognize him to this extent. Perhaps this was redemption for the curse laid upon him as a child. He tried his best to hug the little girl back, though very gently. "So what's your name?" Ayato asked of the little girl. The little girl immediately smiled, and hugged him tighter before the nurses asked of her to be more gentle. "Hinami!" The girl replied cheerfully, "Are you sure you're okay?" Look at this. The people of this town were unbelievably kind. Ayato could not help but pat the girl on the back. "That's a really nice name!" Ayato replied, "And yes! I am completely fine, thank you!" The little girl went back to holding his hand while she sat on a little stool. Ayato imagined having an awfully nice girl like this as his own child when he was old enough to raise his own family. Man, would that ever be a nice future. He was jealous of Hinami's personality, honestly. Ayato found himself unable to possibly be as happy as the girl before him. She was concerned about others, and more selfless than ever. She would surely stand out someday; Ayato knew that much.

The little girl managed to stay with him the entire time he was in the hospital until the lacrima detached from his body. He was unstrapped, and given a special card. "This is your new health and life insurance, sir!" A nurse announced, "Take extremely good care of this, okay?" Ayato simply nodded, and stood gently while the little girl continued to hold onto his hand. "Let's get you back home!" Ayato cheered, "And no worries about me--" Ayato was interrupted by the little girl again. "But I want to hang out with you! I need to stay with you until you can walk home by yourself! Look at you! You're still limping!" How did this little girl even have such a strong vocabulary?

Albeit, this little girl was acting like a parent, which seemed kind of cute. She really cared for Ayato, which made him feel like the female should be rewarded. Ayato ended up walking with the girl to a nearby restaurant, thanking the nurses while he exited the infirmary. It was still embarrassing to know that Ayato had actually collapsed hours ago. On the bright side, he was back in Clover Town. Ayato only had the strength to travel to a bakery before having to sit down. "See! You're still very weak!" The little girl complained. Ayato pouted, but then laughed slightly, "Here, take this bag of jewels and buy yourself a few cookies." Ayato suggested. The little girl shook her head, then pulled Ayato with her to buy something with her. Man, was this little girl ever difficult to hang out with.

The two ended up buying big pastries with brown sugar and cinnamon on top. The baker found it adorable how attached this little girl was to Ayato, and so he decided to give them the best table available. "These pastries are delicious!" The little girl commented with her mouth full. Oh, how Ayato remembered having the same habit as the female. He would chew loudly, get his mouth all messy, and talk with his mouth full, of course. That, and he refused to eat with utensils sometimes. Even so, he was having a lot of fun joking around with this other citizen of Clover Town. Ayato agreed with the comment the little girl had given before, and ate his pastries just as fast as the youngster. While Ayato ate his pastries, he looked at the book to see if it was okay. When Ayato had left the battle scene, Daisuke had returned to the book, and was left idle. He was still idle in this book, and so Ayato wondered if he was okay. It was unfortunate, actually. Nurses had no idea how to heal books, and so Daisuke had to heal his wounds by himself. However, just as he was reading through Daisuke's book, it was snatched by the little girl. "Here's a tip about girls!" The little girl declared, "Never leave your attention to something as stupid as this instead of the female while you're on a date!" Again, Ayato pouted. This was note a date, so what the hell was this girl talking about!

Ayato could only laugh some more. The girl attempted to read the book while it was already stolen, though she could not understand a thing, obviously. This book only had scriptures written all over it, and even Ayato could not understand most of it. In fact, all he could understand was the first chapter. Only magic let him understand what else was in this book, though he did not have enough skill with magic to understand any other chapters just yet. The book was thrown back in Ayato's face, giving him a slight whiplash before Ayato caught the book, and slid it back into his jacket. "That wasn't nice..." Ayato remarked. "Blah blah blah!" The little girl responded.

Another hour had been spent, and the girl was finally happy with what her little hangout. Ayato was confirmed fully healed now; even by this little girl, though she was saddened, as a result. "I wish I could hangout with you some more..." The little girl said out of the blue, "Though I bet you have to go back to the guild to do other things, don't you?" Ayato sighed, and simply pat the girl on the head. "Just as you were worried about me, the people in my guild are probably worried sick about me too. I have to see them just so they can see that I'm okay. I did have lots of fun though!" The little girl pouted, but then smiled happily. She gave Ayato a warm hug, and helped throw the empty plastic bags into the garbage. "Alright! Here's the deal! Take me back home, and I'll stop complaining!" It was strange that the girl requested this, especially since Ayato had given the offer already. She seemed so prepared for everything, already holding onto Ayato's hand and dragging him down the street towards her house. Ayato assured he could walk comfortably with her eventually while she attempted to drag her, which frankly made her laugh for the first time.

"And we're here!" The little girl announced, "Next time I see you, you better hangout with me, okay? Anybody who eats pastries with me is my best friend, and nothing can stop me from hanging out with my best friend! You got that?" Ayato nodded in fear, and brought the little girl inside. The parents looked at Ayato's shocking face, and knew from the get-go how difficult their child had been with Ayato. Albeit, they laughed, and invited Ayato to take off. However, Ayato did still give Hinami the promise that they would hangout again, though he also assured himself he would not be in the middle of a job next time the two saw each other. Why was it even that the girl wanted to hangout with someone as old as him when she could always see someone her own age. Ayato concluded that she must have looked highly of him, which made him feel proud of himself. This little girl helped Ayato see Clover Town in a new light, which he found adorable. If there were other people like Hinami in the town, Ayato swore he would live here until the day he died. "Take good care of her! Though she's difficult, she's awfully nice too!" Ayato commented. He waved to the little girl especially before he ran off, and headed straight for the guild. "To my home I go!" Ayato cheered.

    "BLUE PEGASUS!"
