Name:
Korikami
Rank:
Legendary
Species:
Shadow Fox
Type:
Combat Pet
Description:
Korikami is a clever fox, although he's also rather solitary. Not a particular fan of people the only person who he really is attached to is his own master. He's intelligent enough that he can follow commands without problems, and loyal enough to obey his master without question unless something abnormally dangerous or scary is present, at which point he'll still obey but with obvious reluctance (might also require some persuasion). Will always be found either at his master's side or somewhere dark where there aren't too many people. Loves most types of meat and can be bribed with them (except if forbidden by his master).

Description:
"Kagehokan"
Korikami engulfs an object or creature, pulling it inside himself and transporting it to a realm of shadows, where it does not affect this world until Korikami pulls it out the other way.
When Korikami ejects an item it pretty much looks like he's puking it out, opening his mouth all the way before whatever item he is procuring from the shadow realm appears.
Strengths:- Anything stored this way can not be affected by abilities or skills from this world unless said action specifically is able to reach into other dimensions.
- While the ability is called Shadow Storage Korikami only acts as a portal from this world into the specific shadow realm he is connected to. That means that no matter what he swallowed, it doesn't affect his abilities here.
- There is no set limit on how long items can be stored in the shadow realm, meaning that Korikami could just swallow some important item that needs to be protected but not used and unless he was forced to puke it out the job would be done.
Weaknesses:- Korikami can only swallow or eject. If he swallows something he can't eject anything until the duration of this ability has ended. It's the same the other way around.
- Korikami can't swallow a volume that is greater than 2 cubic yards. If he tries to store anything more within said shadow realm he loses control over the ability and pukes everything out. If this happens the cooldown of this ability is increased by 1 post.
- Korikami can only swallow or eject one item at a time. The exception to this is for example if there's a large amount of very small items which together can be said to form a whole (heap of sand, bunch of grapes, that kind of stuff).
- The shadow realm does not support life. Creatures can survive there for a while, as there is air to breathe, but there is no food, no water, nor any other kind of sustainment. This means that you can't just store somebody who needs safekeeping in there and let them be.
- Can't be used to just remove enemies because the act of being swallowed is rather easily resisted if the target is not either very small, or somehow unable/unwilling to resist.
- Anything stored this way can not be affected by abilities or skills from this world unless said action specifically is able to reach into other dimensions.

Description:
"Yashuu"
Korikami fades into the same shadows that his entire being is made of, moving forward in a rush only to appear at the target location, immediately ready to take another action. If the target location is near an enemy Korikami can unleash a burst of shadows to strike at them, blinding them and inflicting damage. Maximum range is 40 yards.
Strengths:- While this ability is active Korikami appears as nothing but a normal shadow, and unless the area is well illuminated not even that would be noticed.
- The burst of shadows that is released when Korikami reappears blinds the targeted enemy for one post, leaving them open for a follow up attack from either Korikami himself or an ally of his.
- If used to assault an enemy the burst of shadows will also deal 1 B-Rank shadow damage.
- Due to Korikami basically turning into a shadow this allows him to quickly cover a distance in a very stealthy manner.
Weaknesses:- Korikami has to decide on where he moves to at the beginning of the ability, and he can't change his mind afterwards.
- While Korikami moves at high speed as he does this, it takes about a second for him to reach his destination if he goes the full 40 yards. In battle a lot can change in a second.
- If the area is bright Korikami will be noticed as a shadow, and seeing how shadows don't normally act like that he would be given away, giving enemies the opportunity to react.
- The burst of shadows can only hit one target. It's a singular assault.
- The blindness caused by the burst of shadows is immediately destroyed if a burst of light (light based spell of two ranks lower) is used to illuminate the one who is blinded.
- If the enemy has magical or supernatural presence (mages, dragons, those kind of things) Korikami can't appear within a two yards radius from them.
- Enemies of a rank above are not completely blinded, instead merely having troubled vision for the duration. Enemies of two ranks or above are completely unaffected.
- While this ability is active Korikami appears as nothing but a normal shadow, and unless the area is well illuminated not even that would be noticed.
