That is what they are called on another site. What it is is where you can add someone's name to your post and it will notify them; perfect for telling some when someone has posted. Basically I suggest someway to inform people when someone has posted on an RP and thus we don't have to go search and see if a post has been made. Makes RP smoother.

there is. If you look at the action button at the top of the very first post and look at one of the options one of them will be "watch this topic for replies". Any time a person posts a comment in that topic now you will be notified when it happens and who did it in that notifications thing at the top of the screen. If you want to stop following a thread the watch this topic will be replaced with "stop watching this topic for replies".
