    job information:

The only sound that resonated around the Sabertooth guild now was the sound of beating wings, and the loud crashing sound of waves crashing against one another, causing rain to intermittently  fall from the skies. High up above the hall, Aayla and Zinnath were battling out, fighting and racing after one another in a friendly sparring match. This sparring match however, resulted in the guild hall being soaked form the after effects of their spells.

It wasn’t until Zinnath flew down onto one of the guild platforms that the fighting finally came to an end, the serpent having exhausted her magic supply to a level of uncomfortability. Aayla landed next to the Serpent and gently placed her hand on her head, petting the scales and hugging her friend tightly before leaving the Serpent there to rest. Zinnath had made several of these platforms her home, however, this one in particular seemed to have the serpents most personal touch.

As Aayla walked back into the guildhall, she first made a detour to her room where she quickly slipped into the shower to wash off the sweat she had built up training with her friend, not that sweat actually built up on her body or anything though. She rinsed herself off, changed her clothes into her new battle attire and walked out of the room while actually braiding her blue hair over her shoulder.

‘Maybe I need to pick up another job…  I haven’t really proven myself as a Knight lately…’
The dragon slayer thought to herself with an exhausted sigh before heading over to the job board. She needed something that would prove to everyone she wasn’t weak… that she wasn’t some damsel in distress that needed rescuing or the weak little girl everyone thought they needed to protect. She needed a job like…

    “King of fighters?”

"Where was he? Its weird for the ghost of a demon to just disappear like that. I mean where is he going to go anyways...?" The blue-haired Knight of Fire spoke out to himself. Cirven had just gotten near the guildhall after traveling from his old home near Magnolia. Thoughts plagued his mind because he did not know where his mentor had gone recently. He had traveled to the old home a few times before for some sort of training like usual but couldn't find the dog demon spirit anywhere.

What made it more weird is that Inuki had not been pestering him from a distance like he usually did. "Hmm.. Where could that old mutt be? I had so many questions for him and he just up and disappears like this.." He continued mumbling to himself as he closed in on the guildhall.

He used the teleport lacrima to travel up to the guildhall's entrance. He was sort of surprised to see that the area was soaked with water but he figured out why once he saw the tired looking serpent laying nearby.

"Yo Zin!" He yelled out with a wave to the serpent as he walked towards her. He put out his hand to pet her and she obliged by moving her big head under it. "How you been girl? Looks like Aalya and you were training again, huh?" He smiled as he rubbed his hand on the snake's head. "I hope you didn't push yourself too hard like last time. You know she is a lot stronger than she used to be." The serpent let out a soft hum as he pet her. "I'll see you in a few, Zin. Going to go find Aly and maybe the others. Try and relax here."

Cirven stopped petting his sister's pet and companion, giving her a wave and then walked inside of the guildhall. He didn't have to go far to find his sister at all because she was in front of the job board looking at it. He approached her from behind and spoke out near her in an attempt to scare her. "THAT!" He yelled out. "Looks like it could be a fun job."

The large Serpent let out a relaxed sigh as she lay her large head back down onto the ground once Cirven had patted her. She curled up into herself before closing her eyes. Even though it seemed like the large creature was sleeping, she was always attentive, her body picking up every slight vibration and picking up the sounds going about the guildhall. She had become so accustomed to everyone’s sounds, that any strange noise would alert her to incoming trouble.

Inside the guildhall, aayla just finished reading over the job she had mentioned when Cirven snuck up on her, attempting to scare her. She did flinch as he suddenly yelled, bringing her hand up to rub her ear as she slapped him with the job request.

“I can smell you, and hear you coming you know… you can’t sneak up on me… you can deafen me, but not sneak up on me.”
She said with a huff as she let him take the job request from her before crossing her arms and pouting up towards her older brother.

“You don’t have to come with me either you know… I… I want... no I need to do this one on my own…”
She started, her pout fading as she let out a sigh and looked towards the ground.

“Master Zenshin might of made us Knights but… I don’t feel like one… I… I’m not that good of a wizard yet… I need to do this to prove to myself that I can do it… that I’m stronger than I used to be…”
She explained to her older brother, peering back up to him through the watery blue hair that had fallen over her face, hoping that he would understand and just let her go. Which, knowing him he would not do.

The blue-haired part demon let out a yelp as the job request swatted him on the top of his head. He rubbed the area where it was hit as his sister scolded him about his actions, while a smile was on his face about the whole thing. He had that warm feeling inside where he was just happy being around his sister where they could be siblings.

"I know, I know. It was still worth a try to see if I could scare you though." He let out a slight chuckle. "So whats the job you are looking at now?" He took the job request from his sister and looked it over. "So this guy just wants us to be stronger than the others there? That doesn't sound too hard at all. We are brother and sister so its easy for us to work together after all."

He was going to continue speaking but his sister had spoke about how she wanted to do it on her own. His look changed to a serious one as she spoke about what Zenshin had given them and how she felt she wasn't up to the position. Cirven let out a sigh and then wrapped his arms around his her. "I know you want to prove to yourself that you are stronger and I'm sorry that I have held you back from that." He spoke as he hugged her. "As your brother I want to protect you but at the same time I want to see you grow stronger. So like I told Zenshin, I will be helping you get stronger from here on out as your brother and teammate." He let go of his grasp around her and took a few steps back from her. "You are pretty much stuck with me here, you know? This will be where we show how much of a team we are and how strong we both are. Sound good?"

Aayla sighed as her brother hugged her and she gave him a tight hug back. She had been so used to being alone until she joined Sabertooth, that it was still strange to her to have other people to rely on, to be able to lean against when she needed them. She really did feel she needed to do this alone... but she also understood her brothers point too. They were more than a team, they were family, and together, no one would be able to beat them.

A small smile crept up onto her lips as she continued to think about it, and when Cirven finally pulled away from her she nodded.

"Yeah... I know i'm stuck with you... and as long as you don't slow me down I guess I could let you tag along."
She teased him gently as she went to lead the way out of the guild hall to head towards this tournament but paused as she suddenly remembered her new weapon, the Stormbringers Trident that she had left back in her room.

"i have to go get something I forgot in my room... if you're ready to go, why don't you bring Zinnath something to eat? She'll need her strength back up."
She stated before taking off at a run towards her room. Her armour clanked against itself gently, barely making a sound to anyone around. The only reason she could hear it was because of her heightened hearing.

she ran into her room and got down onto her knees, reaching under her bed and taking out the trident that was covered in an old tattered green cloth. She made sure that it was closed tightly before slipping the fabric around her shoulders so that it was hanging on her back before walking out of the room once more and heading for the exit of the guild hall so that she could meet up with Cirven.

"Feed our favorite pet serpent. Got it. Take your time." Cirven smiled to his sister and gave her before she made her way to her room. He stood alone thinking about what he could get the snake which was why he told her to take her time. He had given Zinnath a sandwich filled with meats earlier and didn't know if it would be smart to give her more or not because last time he gave Zinnath more than one she seemed to be sort of sick.

"I wonder if I can just take something from the kitchen and they won't mind..?" He mumbled to himself and then made his way into the kitchen. They were really not allowed in there to grab food themselves but Cirven thought that this would be an exception somehow.

He somehow had managed to get into the kitchen while the cooks were on a short break which allowed him to just go in and take what he wanted. "Hmm.. What to get.. Oh?" He spotted a plate of fish that was inside a see through refrigerator. "They shouldn't mind if I just take thi-" A door shut nearby and caused him to jump slightly as he started to grab the plate. He then ran out of the kitchen where he was seen at the last second going through the exit door.

He continued moving until he found himself outside of the entrance into the guildhall and near Zinnath who had still been laying there quietly. "Hey Zin!" He yelled out to the giant serpent causing her to open her eyes and looked towards him. Her face seemed to light up like a flash of light when she saw that he had a plate of fish. He stopped in front of her and sat the plate on the ground in front of her face so she could eat it.

"This will give you some energy so that you can fly where I need to go. Hopefully this is enough for it." He watched her as she ate the fish and turned his head to the entrance door when he heard it open to see his sister walking towards him. "Whoa! Where did you get that thing on your back, Aly?" A sort of excitement came over him about the weapon on her back along with the curiousness.

The Serpent was more than content to attempt eating everything that Civen had offered her, including the plate though quickly thought better of that. With a slight slurping sound, sh sucked up the fish before happily crunching away on them before shoving her very large nose into Cirven's chest as thanks. It wasn't until Aayla had come back out onto the platform that Zinnath looked up to the water mage.

"This..? Oh well... I found it when we went out looking for Hydrianna last week... it was locked away in an old sunken ship and it felt like it was calling out to me... so I took it..."
She said as her cheeks went red, feeling as if she was being interrogated for stealing it. Not that Cirven would have said anything if she had... would he? She quickly shook her head as she walked up to the duo and placed her hand on Zinnath's nose, the other reaching up behind her horns and petting her.

"You ready for another ride girl?"
She asked the Serpent who huffed before slithering around the pair, her two large wings expanding from her body as she stretched them out before drawing them back in to let the others get on.

Aayla jumped onto her companions back, gently massaging the fins that went down her neck as she waited for Citven to jump on. When he did, sh heard someone yelling something about missing fish inside the guild hall and couldn't help but chuckle as sh had Zinnath take of, long before the cooks could come looking for them. She hadn't seen Cirven take the fish, but the smell was unmistakable when she had approached them and the plate that held them.

"You think we can actually win this thing?"
Aayla finally asked of Cirven once the pair was up in the air.

Cirven looked at his sister accusingly. "So you stole it..?" He let out a sigh and was about to scold her on stealing things when he heard the cooks yelling inside the guildhall looking for a thief. Cirven's eyes widened and he looked up at Zinnath for a sort of comfort. "I really hope the energy from those fish I got you has had time to swarm through you, girl. I'd rather avoid a scolding from the cooks right now!"

Cirven used his flames to help propel himself up a bit so that he could land on Zinnath's back behind his sister. "I know you want to ask me what happened but lets just avoid that and I will avoid being the big brother who scolds you, OK?" He smiled to her and quickly skipped over that part of their conversation to her question. "Is that really a question? There isn't a doubt about it. We will crush them as Sabertooth mages but even more so as siblings. They won't see it coming at all." He made sure to hold onto his sister as they flew on Zinnath just in case she started to fall off due to her motion sickness.

He could feel an uneasiness coming from his sister. She seemed to be really down after becoming a Knight of Sabertooth which was weird. She had proven herself to Zenshin but that didn't seem enough for her. "Do you have doubts that we can do this, Aly? You are strong, you know. Don't think otherwise because that can lead you to thinking you are weak which will make you act like that. Being strong is as much as a mental thing as a physical thing." He spoke out with one of his random wise speaking moments. He wondered if his sister had caught onto his awkward ways yet or not.

"It was a sunken ship, I don't think that's stealing."
She retorted with a huff though Zinnath suddenly took off, and Cirven then hushed them both to silence so that neither would scold one another. The cooks came running out with frying pans in hand, one even threw an egg up at the duo of  blue haired mages, though the egg never met it's target and instead plummeted towards the earth at high speeds.

Aayla couldn't help but giggle before groaning only slightly as she took hold of one of Zinnath's horns. She didn't think she would fall off, as she rarely got sick when riding on Zinnath, but now that Cirven was holding her, treating her as if she was going to be sick, she really felt like she was going to be.

"Cirven... I'm fine you know... and I don't think i'm weak... not any more, I've worked too hard to still be the weak little girl who cried over everything... it's just that... Well when it comes to fighting other guild mages I haven't had much of a winning streak..."
She said softly, a sigh escaping her lips as she looked straight ahead at the parting clouds. IT was true, when it came to fighting outside of their jobs, she was always getting hurt, or getting in the way... she froze up, she got scared when faced with conflict she felt she couldn't handle... an what was this tournament thing going to be like? Would she feel any different? Maybe she could just look at it like the concert she performed in Magnolia with Yuna... it didn't matter how many people were staring, it didn't matter what she was up against, she would be there to try something new, to practice her skills and have fun. As much fun as you could have in a battle arena.

"Forget it... I know I'll be fine, i'm just thinking too hard."
She admitted finally, patting Zinnath gently as they flew for what would be hours.

In fact, it took 3 hours for them to get to Sphere Island, and Aayla was happy to note that the island was in fact, spherical. She couldn't help but chuckle as Zinnath finally swooped down for a landing at the front gates of the stadium. The guards jumped out of fright, brandishing their spears at the flying Sea Serpent, some form of magic surrounding the tips of their weapons.

Aayla leaped off of Zinnath's back and ran in front of her, extending her arms to indicate that she was defending the creature behind her.

"Don't attack her! She's friendly! We're all here for the King of Fighters Tournament, and Zinnath is part of our team!"
She said quickly, watching as the guards looked between one another before lowering their spears, allowing the young dragon slayer to relax and sigh in relief.

"I was starting to think that thing was a dragon. It ain't got no legs, and hasn't roared yet... crazy looking snake you got there kid."
One of the guards stated as he stepped towards to inspect this new team that wished to participate in the tournament.

"You both look scrawny, you sure you want to try for the title of king of fighters? You may very well lose your lives, and we ain't takin the blame for it."

"I know, I know." He loosened his grip around his sister some when she spoke about being OK with riding Zinnath. She had somehow found a way to not get so sick while on top of the moving serpent. He couldn't help but chuckle at it because he was seeing his sister grow. "Sorry. This whole helping you get stronger thing might be harder than I thought."

He continued to have a warm feeling building in his chest when he heard her say she was fine and just over thinking things. She was steadily finding a way to get stronger on her own without the need of his help it looked like. They still had to do the competition but he had a feeling she had found her own confidence somehow. "Happy to hear it, Aly."

The trip seemed to take forever for him. Three hours did not pass by slow while being in the sky with nothing to really look at but clouds and the small bits of area below them. It caused Cirven to dose off every so often even leading him to drool on his sister's back. She didn't happen to notice though somehow and he wasn't planning on telling her either.

Once they finally arrived he followed behind his sister as she jumped off Zinnath. "Sorry for the abrupt landing. Zinnath has a habit of making quick landings but don't worry. She is one of the nicest companions we have. Just stay on her good side." Cirven reached out and pet the serpent after he spoke.

He turned to the guards as they called him and his sister scrawny. His white flames erupted all over his body and light up the area around them. "Who the hell are you calling scrawny?! I'm the Flame Demon Slayer, you know! Do these flames look scrawny to you?!"

"Fancy titles don't mean nothing here kid, unless you're the king himself."
The guard stated as he pointed with his thumb to the entrance behind him, his eyes always on the large Sea Serpent who had tucked her wings in as they seemed to completely disappear from sight.

"You guys want to participate you go right ahead, Don't say I din't warn ya. Go straight through the hallway into the antechamber, there'll be a registration area there. Best hurry, times running out."
He indicated as the youngest blue haired wizard finally put her arms down and sighed in relief.

Aayla looked back to Zinnath and pat her neck quickly before motioning to the large Serpent to follow them inside. As she passed Cirven she gently took his hand as his flames began to steam and her hand turned to water as she did so.

"Come on, don't go flaunting what you are just yet dummy."
She stated though smirked as she led him inside, Zinnath taking up the rear as she slithered along the ground silently.

When they finally came to the ante-chamber that the front guards mentioned, there were a ton of people standing around, standing in line to register. Each looked like they were hardened warriors, used to fighting in the arena. There was only one or two that seemed to look like them, scrawny mages who didn't look like they would stand a chance. Aayla nervously got in line as the trio waited rather patiently, Aayla fidgeting with the bottom of her chest plate until it was finally their turn to register. She simply stared at the older woman sitting at the desk, opening her mouth to speak.

    "I...uh... we...here...f..."
She finally squeaked lightly as she took a step back to hide behind cirven some, earning a hearty laugh from those waiting around, or in line behind them.

Cirven's angry rant was cut short as his sister grabbed his flaming hand with her water and tugged him by the guards. "Hey! Aly! These guys think we are push overs though!" He yelled out as she drug him towards and then passed the guards. "We will show you in the arena what we are able to do then! Make sure to be watching so you can see who really is a push over here!" He let out a grunt after yelling back at the guards with Zinnath following them closely.

He was able to get his sister to let go of his wrist as they came into the registration area. He looked around at the possibly other contestants that they would have to deal with. Some had scarred bodies that showed a vast amount of experience from battle which gave off a look that screamed out that they lived for battle while some others looked to be younger and seemed to look like they were only there to show off for some sort of fame.

The blue-haired Slayer knew that his sister and him probably looked as though they were easy targets to most of the others because they looked like the youngest ones there just about. He had a feeling that whoever they fought would think this and could use this against them possibly.

He followed his sister up to the desk where they would register and stared at her as she attempted to speak to the woman behind the desk. She was stuttering again for some reason which slightly annoyed Cirven. "Aly! All that work we did to get you to stop with that stuttering is going to waste, you know?" He let his sister walk behind him and sighed as some of the others around them laughed at the scene. "Sorry miss. She is nervous about showing off the power we have against the others around us. Nervous about hurting them too badly basically." He grinned at the woman. "Oh yeah! I am Cirven Mizune and this is Aalya Mizune. We are the Sabertooth wizards who have come to for our employer to-" Before Cirven could continue speaking a man rushed up from behind Cirven and Aalya. He wore a black and orange suit and a pair of black glasses with a hat to match the outfit.

"You two made it!? Its good to meet you. I am Grantz Feldrend and your employer for this. Please sign up and I will be watching you both from the stands during this all. For now though sign up like you were doing and get ready. This event starts soon and will span over a few days or more." The man used his thumb to point behind him at a nearby wall. "I will be over there if you need me, OK?" He then walked off from the duo and the snake.

    "Weird guy..."

Aayla was clinging tightly to the back of Cirven's shift, very nearly burring her face in the fabric as she heard people start to laugh. Her face went red as a small wimper escaped her lips before a familiar hiss was heard behind her. She peered over towards the sound where she found Zinnath actually baring her sharp fangs at a couple of the other participants, her eyes narrowed as her blood lust could be felt coming from the serpent. She quickly let go of Cirven and ran over to Zinnath, wrapping her arms around the large Serpents neck (well, as much as she could) and burying her face into the familiar scales. This was more than enough of a distraction to calm the large reptile down as Zinnath's eyes shifted to look at her friend. She glared once more at the two participants, who were now bearing their weapons at the Serpent, before slithering around Aayla in such a way that she forced the young dragon slayer to get onto her back.

Just then, the strange man that had hired them appeared, giving them only the briefest of explanations before he disappeared once again. Aayla glanced back over to Cirven once the other man was gone, though didn't speak another word as she clung to her friend and waited until they could get out of this large crowd.

"Here you go kid. Keep this key on you, because there is no double. It unlocks room 78C, that's where you'll be staying for the duration of the tournament. Keep in mind that all the rooms are in this building, as is this arena, so keep it locked unless you want your stuff stolen. We're not responsble for any loss of personal belongings, nor do we take any responsibility for any damage you sustain while in this building, whether you're in the tournament of not. The first match starts in 30 minutes so report down to the triage center to find out who your opponent is. NEXT"
The woman cried out, shooing Cirven and Aayla aside after having put the key in Cirven's hands. Obviously, there was no time to waste if they were already going to fight within half an hour...

Cirven watched his sister go to Zinnath and calm the serpent down before she started a fight with two of the men who had laughed at his sister. Cirven honestly wouldn't have minded fighting each person who had laughed at his sister but he knew that it wasn't the time for that. They were placed in a tournament where they would be able to get a sort of revenge in. They didn't need to get caught up in any unnecessary fighting. This didn't stop him from his next statement though.

"Any of you who laughed should shut up! You are just giving us more reason to beat all of your asses inside this tournament!" Cirven's flames erupted off from his body lightly as he spoke and then stopped suddenly as he was handed a key to a room. "Oh cool! Free room!" His personality had completely changed upon getting the key showing his childish side. "Aly! We get a free room with this tournament! Its like they already know how strong we are, huh?" He smiled at his sister after speaking and held the key out with two fingers so she could see the silver piece of metal. "We have thirty minutes before we get to show off some too? Perfect!"

He started to walk towards the where a sign pointed saying where the rooms were. "Aly, lets go see this room we have and then go to arena for our match." He called out to his sister as he walked. After a bit of time they came to a room with the number 78C on it. Cirven excitedly used the key to open the door and rushed in. "This is our... room..?" He spoke out happily at first but slowly lost his enthusiasm as he saw that there was only one bed. "Aly!! Don't make me have to sleep on the floor!! We can just share the bed, right? Right?!" He pleaded with his sister as he remembered in the past when he was younger after the attack on his village. He went from place to place sleeping on floors until they kicked him out.

Aayla was about to reach for Cirven when he suddenly burst into flames again, but then pulled her hand back when his demeanor suddenly flipped back to happy. She smiled softly as he seemed to lighten up the room itself with his smile and slightly followed him when he led them towards their room. When they were far away from the crowd, Aayla released a sigh as she looked up at Cirven.

"I'm sorry about that... it's just that there were so many people... and they were all staring..."
She mumbled softly as she skipped off of Zinnath to peer into the room, frowning slightly at the sight of the tiny space. It barely had a bed big enough to fit both of them. While she didn't take up much space...she'd never actually slept in the same room, let alone the same bed as her older brother. Her cheeks began to turn a light pink as she gave a shrug and turned back to get out of the room.

"I'll just sleep with Zinnath. It's fine..."
She muttered softly to her brother before she took the lead down to the participants hold, where the fighters were meant to wait for their turn. She walked down the halls with a little more confidence, until she stepped into the hold where everyone started staring at her again as she slowed down, slipping behind Zinnath and staring at the floor once more.

"Oh good you two made it. Quickly now, you only ave a few minutes to get out into the arena. Your opponents are already out there... Good luck kids... you're going to need it."
One of the women they had met at the registration desk stood there with a clipboard in her hands and a pen in her hair. She ushered the two blue haired children towards the arena door as you could hear people cheering and the announcer mumbling something on the other side of the door.

Cirven raised an eyebrow at his sister's comment about sleeping with her pet. He had never seen Zinnath sleep with or anywhere around his sister really so the idea was weird to him at first. "Wait! Is Zinnath comfortable to lay on? If anything I could just lay with her." He had a certain look in his eyes that probably would show his sister that he actually wanted to cuddle up with the serpent and sleep. A reason that he didn't even really know himself aside from the fact that he wanted his sister to be able to sleep comfortably.

He followed his sister out and shut the door then locking it. Not too much time later the two of them would arrive where they needed to be to enter the arena. Cirven knew that without his sister there though that he would have gotten lost a few times and probably either ended up asking a shady person for directions or blowing his way through a wall.

"Just right into the thick of things, huh?" He cracked his neck by turning his head sideways and using his right hand to push his chin up. A cracking noise could be heard from his neck and anyone who saw his face would see him cringe slightly after the noise. "Oww... I pushed a bit too hard.." He used his right hand and rubbed on the side of his neck. Some of the men around them laughed at Cirven which lead each of them to take on a glare from him. "Keep laughing for now! If I see you in that arena you won't be!"

He stormed off and followed his sister towards the way they were told to go so that they got into the arena. Once through a short hallway there was another hall that they had to turn into that lead to a open archway. The sound of a crowd roaring with excitement could be heard right as they started down the path to the arena. The two siblings and their pet walked into the arena which was a concrete tiled area with a glass covered roof so that the sky could be seen. People sat in thousands of seats around them to see the spectacle while two figures stood across from the Slayer siblings ready to fight. After the blue-haired mages and the serpent got through the archway a fenced gate came down behind them to keep them in.

Aayla didn't even bother answering Cirven's question as they had left the room so quickly to head down towards the main tournament. There were butterflies dancing around in her stomach, making her feel quite sick at the thought of fighting in front of a crowd. She didn't know how she would do... if she would even be able to fight properly with so many people watching.

This feeling didn't go away as they stepped out onto arena. Cheers filled the stand along with a mixture of boo's and cries at both parties. For a moment Aayla had to cover her ears so that they could get used to the sudden loud noises that now began to make her dizzy. She let out a small whine at the over whelming sensations as she stayed behind Cirven, peering around him only to get a glympse of who they would be fighting. There stood a tall, thin man with short purple hair, dressed rather finely to be getting ready for combat. At his side, there was a very large tiger that seemed to have three heads that were sort of fused together... the poor creature did not look like it belonged in this wold at all, in fact, it's roar told the young dragon slayer more of it's story than it probably should have.

    "Cirven i'm scared..."
The young girl whispered finally as she tried to get some of that confidence back by slowly taking in deep breaths.

"Looks like I have to beat up a couple of kids first thing today. Alright, can't say I'm complaining. Heads up newbies."
The man called out as he raised both hands high above his head. A large round orb of what seemed to be pure magic energy was formed there before it was quickly launched at the two slayers. The orb was about 4mx4m and moved pretty fast to try and catch the pair off guard.

Zinnath spread her wings wide, earning a loud gasp from the crowd as she took to the air to avoid the spell.

The Demon Slayer stared at the two enemies across from them and even though the man gave off a feeling of being somewhat strong, Cirven was more interested in what the three-headed tiger-like beast could do. It looked far from being from this world at all but Cirven didn't have any sort of feeling that told him that it was a demon of some kind. Either way though the boy planned to deal with both opponents and show the crowd and others how strong they were.

Cirven turned his body so that he could look at his blue-haired sibling behind him and placed a hand on her head and messed her hair up some. "Don't be scared, Aly. This will be like all those other times when we fought others in the past. Just focus on that experience you have and it will be OK." His words of encouragement were cut off by the voice of the man across from them.

"Beat up a couple kids? Newbies?" Cirven turned his head to see a orb of pure energy flying at his sister and him. "Dodge it, Aly!" Flames then built up on the side of the boy and caused him to be boosted to the side at fast speeds to dodge the orb. He stopped suddenly and placed his hand over the hilt hanging on his side and then shot off again, this time towards the man. He appeared on the other side of the man with his sword out of his hilt and a streak of white flames leading the entire way to him.

The man fell to one knee clutching at his side in pain as some blood trickled down from a new wound on his body. "How did.. You move so fast?" The man pushed himself back up from the ground. "You are only some punk kid!!" He turned and stared at Cirven with a furious look. Cirven turned around and stared at the man with a smile. "I'm the Flame Demon Slayer, Cirven Mizune. Thats how." The man's turned into one of complete anger. "I don't care who you are! Get him Cerbris!"

The three-headed tiger quickly flung itself towards Cirven swinging its claws over and over towards the boy who managed to block some of the claw attacks but was still hit some from the flurry as well as being pushed back towards the wall behind him. "Damn this thing is strong.."

"I know but... people are watching..."
Aayla muttered more to herself than to Cirven as he ruffled up her hair, causing the young girl to pout and huff at him as he did that.  She couldn't even scold him for it as their enemy spoke up, calling them kids once more becuase launching what felt like an incredibly powerful attack towards them. The attack didn't feel like anything she had ever felt  before... it felt like... well almost like the pure essence of magic that flowed through her veins. It was strange... but she had no time to think about it in any more depth then.

As the spell came racing towards her, Aayla retreived the trident from her back, spinning it in her hand before slamming it down in front of her. The blue gem within the trident began to glow brightly, the light emanating it spread out in front of her and quickly formed a wall between herself and the ball of energy the man had thrown at them.

Thankfully, Cirven had managed to escape just before her wall was cast, otherwise the man might have ended up running smack into it and looking like an idiot. The magic ball created by the purple haired man came crashing against her shield almost as fast as Aayla could make it, causing a large explosion as the two spells collided, creating a large amount of smoke that covered the area separating herself from her brother and her enemies. She quickly put the trident away on her back and darted into the smoke, relying on her senses of hearing to pinpoint where her enemies were.

When she found them, she leaped out of the smoke, jumping high into the air just as Zinnath came soaring up underneath her, acting as a platform as the girl landed on the Serpents back.

    "Water slicer!!"
She cried out as she extended her arms wide from one side of her body to the other, creating three large blades of water which, in themselves might not have seemed too menacing, but whenever Zinnath also opened her mouth to spit out her own jet of water, the spells combined with one another before slamming down into the man that had first thrown his spell.

Cirven's back came into contact with the wall that made up the coliseum's boundaries while still under the assault from the three headed tiger-like beast. He turned his head to look at the wall behind him in a sort of surprise but was not given much time at all from the enemy trailing him in its attacks. The beast thrust it claw towards Cirven causing the wall to be destroyed and for debris and smoke to cover the area.

Cirven jumped out of the smoke looking as though the attack had missed him while the beast kept up on its pressure towards him. "Do you ever just-" Cirven managed to parry one of the beast's claws and suck in air into his lungs. He then released a blast of white flames onto the beast at point blank range. "Give up?! Flame Demon's Rage!" He yelled out as his flames engulfed the unworldly creature.

The beast cried out in pain as the flames burnt its body but even through the pain it was able to swipe out again at Cirven and this time getting a clean hit in while under the mask of flames. Cirven rolled across the ground from the power in the beast's attack but managed to roll onto one knee. He grasped at his chest that now had four diagonal claw marks down his chest. "What the hell is this thing made of? I hit it point blank and its still was able to attack me." He huffed out through the pain aching over his chest.

The beast made its way out of the mass of white flames showing some of its wounds from the fight but they didn't seem to phase it much. Cirven let out a sigh. "Well it doesn't matter what you are made of. I'm going to find a way to take you down." Cirven stood up and readied himself for the beast's attacks again by placing his blade in front of him with both hands over the hilt.

A sudden burst of purple energy burst out from the man's body as the water attacks suddenly approached him, threatening to blast him into the ground. He leaped up into the air as the combined spell came flying towards him and then concentrated the purple aura around him into his hands once more.

    "Hail Fire!"
He cried out as he spread his arms wide, the purple energy blasting off to his right and his left, seeming as if it was going to completely miss it's target. With that done, he didn't have time to dodge the oncoming attack, letting the powerful jet of water push him back to the ground as the blades of water cut into him. He cried out in pain, but his cry was soon echoed as his hail fire magic bullets suddenly curved from their direction and found their targets, knocking both Ayala and Zinnath out of the sky.

    "Tch..."
Aayla pushed herself up off of the ground, panting lightly after her fall, watching as her opponent stood up as well. She summoned up enough water to surround her hands and feet with water as she darted towards her enemy, just as he surrounded his ntire body with his purple magic once more and did the same. The pair suddenly clashed n the middle of the arena, matching one another punch for punch, strike her strike. While Aayla's talons and claws deals extra damage, his magic infused strikes were faster, and in the end dealt just as much damage as she was dealing to him.

Aayla leaped back away from her opponent, summer saulting backwards and landing on Zinnath's nose. The large Sea Serpent then launched Aayla into the air as the purple wizard leaped up after up, launching blast after blast of energy attacks at the young girl. Aayla winced as they hit her feet as she came plummeting back down towards her enemy, aiming a powerful kick to his chest.

Of course the wizard had seen it coming, and so manipulated his magic blasts to the left so that they would knock Aayla off course, and that they did. What he hadn't been expecting however, was he large Sea Serpent that came flying up towards him, sinking her massive fang into his chest and taking him back down to the ground of the arena.

The beast again was chasing Cirven around the arena, causing destruction to everything that it hit with its claws and attacks. Cirven could not outrun it at all due to how fast it could run but he was somehow managing to dodge any major hits to his body. This did not mean he was being hurt because his body spoke the story completely for him with each cut and gash on him.

"Damn it! You stupid cat!" Flames erupted over Cirven's body and traveled into his sword. "Honestly, I was not wanting to use this but I will have to now!" All of the flames on his body gathered onto his blade and caused it to shine into a white light that temporarily blinded the cat-like beast. Ten white flame swords formed around Cirven one by one and once the shining stopped revealed his sword had become one of pure white flames.

The tiger-like beast looked on confused at first but then lunged at Cirven who dodged the attack and caused one of the flaming blades around him to appear near the beast and slash it. The beast cried out in pain from the attack but retaliated quickly at the flaming blade. Cirven smiled thinking the beast was too stupid to realize that the sword was made of pure flames but was completely surprised by what happened next.

The beast had somehow managed to consume the flaming blade into its mouth and eat it. "You can eat it?!" Cirven's jaw practically dropped and the beast then charged him again this time with increased speed. Cirven was not able to dodge the attack this time and his chest was slashed across by the beast causing him to grunt out in pain but still managed to call a couple more of his blades out to attack the three-headed tiger. The tiger dodged the attacks and jumped away while still being chased by the flaming swords.

"Damn it..." Cirven huffed out as he used his free hand to clutch over his bleeding chest. "Gotta keep it at bay..." Cirven focused as his blades caused a distraction while he thought of his next move. The beast managed to avoid the attacks and was about to attempt to eat the blade of flame when Cirven caused the rest of the fire blades around him to appear around the beast in a ring. The beast looked in confusion and growled as the blades all flew towards it at the same time.

The beast jumped into the air and right into Cirven's plan of attack. Cirven moved into the air above the beast where it would have a hard time dodging his next attack. Cirven came down towards the beast with his Xihe and slashed it while re-aiming the flaming blades that missed to attack the beast while in the air. The blades collided with the beast until there was none left, causing a small explosion of white flames.

Cirven smiled as he saw the beast fall from the combination of attacks unconscious. "Predicted the beast.." He chuckled to himself but then fell to one knee as he clutched the gash across his stomach while the Xihe lost its form and reverted back to the Kukan. He stayed still as he tried to use his holy flames to heal himself.
