The wind blew profusely, as the young mage held on tightly to the steel bar next to him. Mathurin stood on the highest point in all of Hargeon, standing from the clock tower. He could see the masses of citizens, moving about like tiny insects. This caused a small smile to stream across Mathurin's bored face. He lazily brushed a long dread lock back from in front of his face, to behind his ear. The young mage leaped forward and began to soar down toward the town square. Mathurin landed on top of a very large umbrella that broke his fall, allowing him to land safely.
"Aye, Aye..." Mathurin said as he slowly yawned walking into the long line. He wasn't exactly sure what the line was about, so figured he would ask the closest insect to his right.
"You there..." Mathurin spoke to the middle aged man in a dark and cold tone. His face was free of any emotion, and he stared directly into the man's soul.
"uhh...y-yes?" The man responded in a slightly timid voice as he took a half a step backwards. He could feel a strange sensation from around this child, as if nothing but negativity surrounded him. Mathurin proceeded to ask the man a few questions, until he was satisfied with the answers. A passport? He began to ponder about the many different things he could find in a different nation. Unclaimed treasures, vicious magical beasts, and a multitude of other things began to build an uncontrollable excitement inside of Mathurin.
"So what guild are you from?"The older man asked of Mathurin as he began to roll up his shirt sleeves. The older mage revealed a bright orange Fairy tail tattoo. Oblivious to the situation, Mathurin quickly showed his,Savage Skull, tattoo proudly to the mage. The man let out a quick gasp, and looked over horrified towards Mathurin's absolutely beaming smile. Although completely aware that he shouldn't have alerted anyone, Mathurin had a love for causing a ruckus. The mage turned around immediately, and faced forward, pretending that Mathurin did not stand directly behind him. Mathurin leaned forward slightly as he grasped the mans right shoulder tightly. He began to whisper into the man's ears, suggesting that he lie to the event organizers about Mathurin's guild affiliation.
"Don't worry about it ole chap...heh" Mathurin would say into his ear in a calm voice. The man caved to the pressure and alerted them that Mathurin was a new member of Fairy Tail, and lacked all of the vital paperwork. Trusting the word spoken by the man, they processed Mathurin and awarded him his very own passport as well. Mathurin looked over towards the older wizard who was quickly departing the city, looking back towards Mathurin. The young Savage Skull mage smiled evilly towards the man who left in a rush. Mathurin soon followed him, leaving this worthless city behind. Nothing sparked his interest, and he was ready for his next dangerous job.
