Kocho and Almy ^=^

Kocho had been wandering about for a while. She was looking for someone who could fix weapons, but she couldn't seem to find any one who could. She got tired of walking and decided to sit down. She had brought some water with her, as she knew that she would be wandering around for a while. She took a drink of water, and took a look at the sky. It had still been early, so the sun was shining brightly. It was a very pretty scene. Kocho seemed to get lost while she was staring at the sky.

Confession:

Almyra wandered about Magnolia town. It was a nice town. There was a train station here, which made it interesting. It was fun to watch the trains come and go carrying their cargo, whether it was people, goods, or both. She met a nice old man there at he station and talked with him briefly while he ate his lunch. He seemed to like her a lot, saying that she reminded him of his granddaughter. He gave her a large piece of cheese that she now wandered with, occasionally breaking off small chunks and eating them.

Almyra walked out of the shadow of a building and into the sun. She tilted her head up to the sky with a smile, allowing the pleasant warm rays of the sun to fall on her face. She stood like that for a few moments, her eyes closed and a content smile upon her face before looking around again, spotting someone sitting on a bench. She looked her over. She seemed like a nicer person. With that decided, she walked over to and sat down next to the woman. "Hello. How are you today?" She was never really very good at initiating conversation, which sometimes caused people to avoid her. Perhaps this woman would be one of the ones who were willing to talk with her.

Kocho's stare into the sky seemed to fade as Almyra spoke. Kocho looked at Almyra. To Kocho, she looked like a nice person. She had a smile on her face, and she has lovely brown hair. Kocho began to speak, "Oh, Hello! I'm Kocho! I'm doing fine, and yourself?" With that, Kocho moved closer to Almyra, hoping to have an interesting conversation and make a new friend. She has recently made a lot of new and met a lot of new people! Kocho had always been a very social person, but she had never expected to meet so many amazing people.

"Great! The weather is nice and I've met lots of friendly people. You seemed nice, so I decided to come and meet you, too." She answered Kocho with her almost perpetual smile. "My name is Almyra. Are you from this town?" Almy had, for once in a long time, managed to get a good night's rest and didn't feel tired like usual, making her a bit hyperactive compared to her usual self. Her speech was faster and louder than her usual somewhat slow and quiet manner of speaking. She held the cheese still, and thought about when the best time to offer it to Kocho would be. Did she like cheese? Not all people did. Not all people could eat it either. Perhaps she should wait to see if Kocho took interest in it first.

"Believe it or not, that has been happening a lot lately." Kocho said, laughing afterwards. "I am not from this town. I really don't know where I'm from. I was adopted. But, I do find myself here a lot. Are you from this town?" Kocho was pleased with the question. She never really had anyone to talk to about that, even though she has a brother who'm she sees often. (Daiko >.>) Kocho looked at Almyra, admiring her beautiful hair, waiting for her to respond.

Almy shook her head in response to Kocho's question. "Nope, I'm from Desierto. It's a nice place, but a bit hard to live in. Especially since they don't like mages much there." She smiled still "Fiore has much nicer people though, so I like it better." She looked around a bit. "Where did you grow up then? You were adopted, but you still grew up, right?" She asked. She would scoot a bit closer to Kocho. She looked her over a bit while she smiled. "I like your ears by the way, they're pretty." Noticing Kocho's cat-like ears reminded her of something. Wasn't there a country with lots of people like that? Maybe she or one of her parents was from there. Still, she would give her a chance to answer her first question before pressing her with more.

Kocho was intrigued! She had never heard of Desierto, but then again, she didn't know of any places outside of Fiore. [color=#cc6600]"I've never heard of Desierto before. I've never really heard of any place that didn't like mages." Kocho said, after listening to Almyra. After hearing her next question, Kocho looked up at the sky. Thinking of where she grew up always made her happy. "I grew up in Rose Garden. It was a really pretty place! I miss those days. So many things have happened and everything has changed." Kocho said, following with a sigh. Kocho then heard Almyra compliment her cat ears. "Thanks! My foster mother gave them to me. I don't recall where she got them from, I was just really interested in them when she gave them to me."

"It's kind of nice, very hot. It's not that they hate mages or anything, they're just kind of afraid of us, so they try to make sure bad ones don't hurt people, but that means treating all of them harshly." She frowned. She missed her old home a bit, but still, she would rather have the freedom that came from living in Fiore. The frown quickly turned into a smile though, at the mention of the Rose Garden. "I've been there before. It's really nice. And if you grew up there, that would be where you're from, isn't it?" She let out another giggle as Kocho told her about her ears. "They match your hair well." She broke off a little bit of the cheese and ate it, then held it out to Kocho. "Want some?"

"I could understand that. Many people are afraid of things that involve magic, but I don't agree with them treating all mages badly." Kocho said in response to what Almyra explained to her. She then saw Almyra go into a brie frown, lasting barely a second. Almyra then began to speak, Kocho listened to her question, watching Almyra as she spoke. "Yeah, it is a really nice place. And yeah, I guess it is." Kocho said in response. Kocho thanked Almyra for the compliment on her cat ears. It felt nice, most people thought she was strange for wearing them, but Kocho didn't really care. SHe liked them, so she wore them. Almyra then offered Kocho some cheese, Kocho took it and thanked Almyra for the kind. "Does Cheese happen to be one of your favorite foods?" Kocho asked, taking bits off of the cheese and putting it into her mouth.

Almy kept on smiling, enjoying the company of another person. She scooted a bit closer after Kocho accepted the cheese, then broke off another small piece for herself. "Maybe not one of my favorites, but I like it. A nice man gave me this piece after we talked for a bit. He said he reminded me of his granddaughter." She fidgeted a bit to get more comfortable on the seat, then smiled at Kocho again. "Do you like cheese a lot?"

As Kocho ate the cheese, she realized that it wasn't that bad. The smell was hardly noticeable, and the taste was great. She let rumors affect they way she saw something, which kind of bothered her. She then listened as Almyra spoke. "It appears that you meet a lot of nice people on your journeys as well. She said in response to what Almyra said. She looked at Almyra attentively as she began to speak again. "I actually wasn't a fan of cheese until now. I used to hear that it smelled really bad. Some people said it smelled so bad that they passed out. But, now I realize that those people were just over-exagerrating. It isn't bad, at all." She said.

Almy nodded in response to Kocho's question. "I do. But I sometimes also meet mean people who spit on me or kick me. I just avoid them and look for people that seem nicer. I think I've gotten good at figuring out who will be nice when I meet them." She said. She giggled a little bit when she heard that Kocho didn't like cheese because she heard it smelled bad. "Some cheeses do, but I don't think people eat those ones as often, especially not when there's lots of people around." She scooted closer to Kocho and leaned on her a bit.

Kocho could feel the air around them become lighter, there was no tension. They were getting along perfectly. "How awful. Those people need a taste of their own medicine. I'd love to kick them in spit on them. >:c" Kocho said angrily. Hearing of people get abused always enraged her. She didn't like to imagine nice people getting hurt. "I'd imagine so, but I wasn't thinking of that at the time. " She said, noticing that Almyra was getting closer, but she didn't mind.

Almyra shrugged. She didn't mind that people did that. They might have their reasons. Besides, she could avoid them anyway. Besides, that probably wouldn't stop them, so she just opted to leave them in peace. She smiled when Kocho didn't seem to mind that she was scooting closer and leaning on her a bit. "Kocho, can I give you a hug? You're nice and I like hugging people." She asked her, remembering for once. Should Kocho say yes, Almyra would immediately hug her tightly and would immediately look even more happy than she already seemed to be.

The thought of people hurting Almyra when they most likely didn't even know her enraged Kocho. What gave them the right to treat people any kind of way? They're just like everybody else! Kocho was sure that if they knew her, they would love her! Her face began to turn red, but was soon turned back to normal as she heard Almyra ask her a question. "Sure you can. Hugging is good for the heart ya know." Kocho said grinning. She then opened her arms and wrapped them around Almyra. She didn't mind hugs at all. Hugs were always a nice thing to receive in Kochos opinion.

Almyra giggled and hugged Kocho tightly. She would probably hold onto the woman for slightly longer than most, giving some indication to how much she liked physical contact with people. She slowly let go and leaned a bit against Kocho after the hug. "You're really nice. And you give nice hugs." She closed her eyes. "So what brings you to Magnolia Town? Are you just exploring like me, or do you have other things you have to do here?"

Kocho kind of enjoyed the warm embrace of the girl. She liked tight hugs, they always made her feel protected. She was never really good at protecting herself. She always relied on her spirits to protect her, but that would soon come to an end. Kocho was starting to feel the power of the stars within her more and more, she was soon going to be able to transform into a Celestial Spirit. After Almyra was finished hugging her, Kocho could feel her leaning on her a little. She didn't mind it though, she actually enjoyed it. "Oh thank you! I don't hear that a lot, mainly because I normally don't hug people. Because of you, I now remember how great a hug feels." Kocho said, smiling at Almyra with her eyes closed. "I've been looking for someone to fix my chain whip. I also live here. Kocho said holding up her chain whip, trying to show Almyra how banged up it was. "So tell me, what have you found on your travels? Have you met any other nice people?" Kocho said curiously.

Almyra giggled cutely, happy that Kocho enjoyed the hugs and Almyra's rather physical behavior. She had made the girl happy, and that in turn made her happy. It seemed she lived here in this town. It was a nice town. Almyra would be happy to have a home here, she thought, though she would still want to wander too much for it to be of much use. She examined the chain whip and frowned slightly. She wished she were more powerful, then she would be able to fix it for her. Oh well. She would be able to find someone to fix it. She smiled when Kocho asked her to tell her about her travels. "Well... I've had a lot. And met lots of nice people and found some neat things." She pulled out her book and opened a pouch. "I started collecting buttons when I was little and kept on collecting them as I traveled." She pulled out a few of her more pretty ones to show to Kocho and told her about how she found them.
