Verona walked down the stoned street of Hargeon with one particular place in mind. The guild of Lamia Scale. She had a map of the town placed in front of her face while she dragged a red colored trolley bag behind her. Her long pinkish red hair flew with the wind of the port town just as her clothes did. She wore a white shirt with a black vest on top of it. Black jeans and boots were added to the outfit along with a black choker around her neck. To complete the look, her hair was up in a ponytail with a black band holding it together. Something about her screamed dignified as the aura around her seemed rather too calm. And on the scale of common sense, the arrow was pointing dangerously towards trouble.
Eyes followed her every step and heads turned as she walked by. Her appearance from the tip of her hair and down to the end of her toes had an unexplainable charm for everyone that walked by her or were standing around minding their own business had put down whatever they were doing to glance at the 5’6 tall lady with their mouths open. Unnoticed by Verona, one boy cycling past her had crashed into a lamp post in his attempt to keep cycling while staring at her. Nobody went to help him as they were again too busy looking at the girl passing by.
Finally putting the map away, Verona glanced around the area before taking a sharp right, nearly bumping into someone but managing to avoid it as the guy leaped to the left with a startled cry. She paid no attention to it as she had her eyes fixed on something already. The white guild made of marble reflected in her pink eyes as she made her way towards it. Her eyes were forcibly averted from the huge building as someone grabbed her right hand and turned her around. It must have been her doll like appearance. But, people somehow got the idea that she was rather easy to pick up.
“You look really fine, young lady,” the shady looking character slurred, clearly drunk, giving her a deformed smirk.
And that….flipped a switch….
Few minutes later, Verona had resumed walking towards her destination, a rather “burnt” man lying unconscious behind her as the people who once looked at her with awe were now giving her weird looks. In anime style, a drop shaped sweat on everyone’s head while the chibi Verona walked away with a sigh.
Once she reached the entrance of the guild, Verona looked up, nodding at the size of the building in approval. Hands now crossed in front of her chest, the girl looked around, trying to find someone that can take her into the guild and wondering whether she should burn the entrance down for a grand entrance or just walk in like a normal person. But then again...was she ever normal?
