Treasure Hunt

Alright. Let's get this event started.

Here, I'll give all of you a list of locations and five riddles. Each riddle links to a particular location and the members of each team must solve one riddle and RP figuring it out here(One post is enough) After that, I'll give each team a link to their location. It would be a thread where you will RP finding the next riddle. Also, these riddles are posted in a board in the guild hall. This is where you take the riddles from.

Here are some rules.

You have various locations linked to the riddles. The team that first picks a riddle, figures it out and post in the right location where they will find their next clue there. One location cannot be used by two teams unless something mysterious aka Fred’s and Raven’s luck has something to do with it.

In a location, each member of the team should post at least thrice before they find the clue. There must be a difference of 2 hours between posts of a member. For example, Kiersa made a post in their location Kitchen at 3:00 PM and Riley, her teammate, followed and posted at 3:05 PM. Now, Kiersa must wait 2 hours. She can only make her next post at 5:00 PM and Riley can only make her post at 5:05 PM.

Each post should at least contain 200 words. Less than 200 words will not be considered as a legit post at all.

Once each team member has made 3 posts, they can ask Fred or Raven about their reward. Fred or Raven will post in the thread with a list of what the team could get. The list would have numbers up to 6 with what each number brings against them.

Next, you must roll the “Normal Dice”. Depending on the number you got from the dice roll, Raven or Fred shall appear and either give you an easy task which will lead you to another clue or bad luck and no clue. If a team rolls bad luck, after the effect of Fred’s task, they can roll again to see if they can get a new clue.

Once a team has gone through 3 riddles, at their 3rd location, they would get the chance to win. Reward will be decided depending on the dice roll made.

No one is a loser in this game. There is only one objective for this event and that is to have fun with everyone in the guild.

Now, for the riddles.

1. Enter and you are bound to sneeze. I keep what's old. I'm not often visited but to find this clue, you have to come up. Team 1

2. This is where the view is grand, and where lover meet. Like Romeo and Juliet. Team 4

3. The name of a card holds her position. Faith and silver are your clues. What you are looking for is among her unmentionables. Team 3

4. All the world's wisdom can be found here. The three witches are what you need. Find me in this tragedy. Team 2

5. Grand and polished. This is the lair of leadership. You will find me where all work is done.


If anyone has any doubt, please feel free to contact me. And now, I announce that Sabertooth Treasure Hunt Event is officially OPEN!.

One more thing. If you figure out the answers to all clues, keep it with you. Do not discuss answers in the chat box or ST group chat. Pick a riddle of your own and start RPing. Don't ruin the fun for others.

NOTE: Your first post must be made here. You have to RP taking the riddle and going on your separate ways in this thread. One post would be enough. Just make sure it has 200 words.
For example. "Raven gathered around the guild hall, trying to get a glimpse of the notice about the treasure hunt event. yada yada.....Ohh Raven likes this riddle. "Oh I get it...this is where the next clue is!" yadayadayada....Raven happily skips off to the next location"

Pein stretched as he waked up in the morning. He was just back from a long trip to the holy castle for another time. He had to collect his money from some exorcism jobs he had done over the past week. Being a demon hunter was a tuff job. He jumped out of bed and cracked his muscles to loosen up while he walked out towards the guild hall for breakfeast. He slept in his pants but he didn’t wear a tshirt this time. He wasn’t in the mood to comb his long hair and just walked messy to the hall. Upon his arrival there he saw a lot of people being gathered around the bill board. Not only that but they were all yelping and chattering about it. He pushed through the crowd to see what the motion was all about. There was a big Notice from there new guild master. Who was that person again. He couldn’t remember her name so he just shrugged and started reading the notice. So apearently there was a treasure hunt and he was in a team with his team leader hikari and with another person named Melyre who he didn’t know. He quicly scamed over the riddles and started to work out witch one would be the best. This was a hunt and he loved hunting. Something cought his eye from the third riddle as he had a familiar feeling about it. silver… somebodty has silver hair and was pretty faithfull if he rememberd correctly. And the card thing it all maked sense. Pein got a slight bloodnose thinking about the location but shook his head and went to search for hikari before he went tot the next location of the riddle. This was going to be akward and fun.

Kitteh was walking to the guild board and noticed a horde of people he marched up to check what all the fuss was because usually there was only one or to people so this seemed to be strange, the ridiculousness of this stretched far so he had to check it out he pulled of what seemed to be a clue to a birthday party scavenger hunt and sat down at the table examining it well if this was a real clue then he knew exactly were it would be. He marched off first get lunch which he planned to be something to help his skills so he got a jug of milk which was freshly new from the bar and grabbed a piece of bread from a near cabinet and walked off to get a metal fork to stab into this giant loaf of bread  He was rapid fire eating and nothing would stop him at this giant bread. He tried to think like a smart person would and find were this would be he just could not think there was no way he could do it, but he tried to calm himself down and think to himself, He later was sitting when he realized this was really it the clue he was waiting for and he found an answer. He looked at the clue This is where the view is grand, and where lover meet. Like Romeo and Juliet. "I am not going mushy oh well".

It was rare to see Emilia outside of a few select locations of the Sabertooth guildhall. Though now she was drawn over to the billboard for something other than a job: The new guildmaster had decided to conduct a treasure hunt. Needless to say, that got her attention. She walked up to the board and saw that they were divided into teams. Great. Forced interaction, just what she needed. Still, there was a possibility of finding treasure. This better not one of those damned "Friendship is the best treasure of all!" kind of scams. She looked over the riddles on the board and tore down the fourth one.


"4. All the world's wisdom can be found here. The three witches are what you need. Find me in this tragedy."

Could it be more obvious? Then again, it was referencing one of the places she tended to spend her time at. She even knew the second reference, though she wasn't too big a fan of tragedies. She wasn't a fan of stories in general, more of historical accounts and such. Still, she knew where to go. She called out to her teammates.
"Hey, Minh! Kiersa! You there? I know the answer to this one. Follow me if you're here. If not, too bad for you." She waved her hand above her head to get their attention, then started to walk off. If they weren't here yet, that was their problem. Still, she walked slowly at first to give them the chance to catch up to her.

Melyre had just woken up, and went to take a quick shower, before going out of her dorm room in the guild. When she got ready she went to the guild hall and saw people grouping and leaving the request board talking about something, she went to check it out making her way through the crowd of people that were talking all at the same time from all directions and it was hard to understand what, when she got to the board she saw a notice about treasure hunting and her eyes had stars in them. Apparently she was in a team with Hikari and a person who she didn't know named Pain. She took a look at the riddles. The third one caught her eye, she quickly thought of a few things. They ware searching for something that a parson with silver hair had and was trusted. The card part was making sense too. After that she went looking for Hika sense she didn't know how this Pain person looked like, before going to the next location. Hunting for treasure just made her day, she was going to have a lot of fun hunting for treasure, who wouldn't love going treasure hunting.

Kiersa had been quietly enjoying some meditation, per Capricorn and Draco's suggestions to try and improve her connection with her Spirits, as well as improve her magical potential... except instead of in the quiet solace of her room like the nun would have preferred, the two Spirits had "suggested" she do so in the main hall, where there was far more noise and distractions.

One such distraction that was particularly virulent today was Raven's attempt to hold a "treasure hunt" event for the whole guild... one that even now she could hear herself being dragged into by one of the mages that she had never met before. The blonde nun sighed before she opened her eyes and looked towards her, before she found the source of the call. She got up and began to head towards her. She bowed her head a little. "H-hello. I'm Kiersa... don't think we've met before..." the nun said as she came to walk beside the girl with the riddle sheet.

"Was it morning? It didn't seem like it so far, so I'll take for a few more hours or so." 

These were the words said by a very lazy monk who decided to spend his time at the guild during his first few days there training and laying about in the open fields, keeping to nature more than his actual room which is amusingly still kept clean for the days when outside sleeping was not a luxury of this to partake in. It was in the early morning that he had heard some commotion happening about him with something along the lines of a treasure hunt happening. He wasn't a materialistic person, so it wasn't something much of his concern until he heard an insistent cheeping followed by a number of furious pecking. When Minh finally rose to his feet, he found Cheepie dropping a piece of paper in his hands, directing him to the main hall with the word URGENT written on.

There he went, a figure with ragged clothing blazing his way through the guildhall at such speeds that one would've taken him for a thief if it wasn't more the large tattoo on his chest signifying his allegiance to Sabertooth. With one massive pillar erupting from the ground in the middle of the hall, Minh can now be seen flying through the air with the appropriate landing target smack right in the center between the two women, landing down from several meters in the air with a heavy thud. He then stood straight up, sweating a tad with a sparrow on his head waving a wing at the two. "What is it!? Am I late for whatever this urgent thing is?" He proceeds to stretch out as well, recovering from his hastened mad dash.

Emilia turned to face Kiersa with a rather unimpressed expression. A young girl, no older than 15. Probably had no idea how to actually fight, and wore the clothing of a nun. She was likely a healer, not the type of person she would like to be around. They tended to be too compassionate and not appreciate mercilessly beating your opponents. She had yet to find anyone that was her type here at Sabertooth. Perhaps she should have found a more mercenary-like guild, but that would be too much trouble. She would stick with the free housing provided by this one. "We haven't met before." She said rather bluntly. "But we're on a team now to solve this riddle and go on a treasure hunt. I assume that the guildmaster wouldn't want me doing it alone, so you're coming with me, since the notice board said you're on my team." She continued walking, speeding up a bit now, since she had one team member, that would be enough to satisfy the requirement to work with your team, right? If Minh didn't find them, that was his problem.

Turns out Minh would catch up with them, or at least she assumed this person to be Minh. Emilia gave no reaction as the man landed between her and Kiersa, though she did note that he looked like a fool with that bird on his head. "You're not late. And this 'urgent thing' is the treasure hunt Raven set up. You're on our team. This is the first riddle to lead us to the treasure." She said, holding up the riddle sheet. "I already know the answer, it's pretty obvious really. Understandable though, I doubt she would want to discourage people from the start with hard riddles. Now, let's get on with this, find the treasure, and be on our separate ways again."

Kiersa let out a startled eep when the ragged man suddenly landed beside her, and the rather cold Emilia. The way this girl behaved and spoke... it genuinely concerned the nun. "There's no need to be so brusque..." she said softly, before reading the riddle herself and frowning slightly. "Umm... it may be something else..." the blonde girl softly suggested. "There is more than one tragedy with three witches in them... or even things referred to as three witches..." Kiersa said before twiddling her fingers. "Just... suggesting that we don't rush to the immediate obvious answer... in case its a trick..." said the nun, bracing herself for no doubt the girl's scathing rebuttal.
